Ah, so this one was a challenge. Not the idea itself, but the struggle to keep it rated K+. I think I managed rather well though...

It was the first day of summer in the Smash Mansion. Toon Link was eager to head out and have fun, especially with his buddies Ness and Lucas.

When he exited his room, he found the two of them eagerly waiting for him.

"Hey Toony!" Ness waved. "Oh, hey Ness! What's up?"

"Did you hear about the new water park? There's gonna be big slides, and big pools, and-?"

"Ness, calm down. It's not a big deal…" Lucas said, patting the excited boy on the shoulder.

"Where is it?" Toon Link asked. He had been looking forward to getting wet.

"Oh, not that far! Rosalina said that it's near Smashville. Something about a big red building."

"I bet everyone is going to be there."

Private Messaging (with Ike)

Marth: Ike

Ike: Ye?

Marth: I happened to pass by the kids

Ike: ..and?

Marth: New waterpark in Smashville

Ike: …

Ike: Are you trying to persuade me to go there with you?

Private Messaging (with Link)

Toon Link: Link!

Toon Link: Ness and Lucas wanna go to a water park with me!

Toon Link: Can I go?

Link: ...Where?

Toon Link: Near Smashville

Link: How come I haven't heard?

Link: Are you sure?

Toon Link: Ya

Toon Link: Please?

Link: ...Fine, but bring Zelda with you.

Toon Link: Aww man.

Link: ...Would you rather have me bring my friends and look after you?

Toon Link: Oh, like Marth and Cloud? Yes, that's better!

Link: We'll meet you there in 30 minutes then. Try to stay out of trouble.

Currently, in the Sword Wing, several smashers were surprised by the news.

"You… expect me to go to a water event? Isn't that like for kids though?" Cloud asked, clearly confused at the prospect of fooling around.

"Come on, liven up a little. Even adults have to play sometimes…" Link argued.

"A water park? I'm so in!" Pit and Roy said in unison, then hi-fiving each other at the shared likeness.

"Count me in too. I need my ways of cooling down!" Shulk said cheerfully with a thumbs-up. Corrin nodded in agreement and went to grab his things.

Lucina glanced over at Chrom, who looked to Robin. "Is the Hero-King going to be there?"

Marth dragging Ike out with a triumphant smirk on his face signified her answer.

Around half an hour later, Ness and Lucas were in the park, splashing around in a kiddie pool, with Toon Link watching them on the side.

"Get in here, Toony! It's fun!" Ness cried.

"Nu-uh. The water is cold. I'll wait for Link and his buddies to get here."

Just then, they heard a surprised yelp from Lucas. Turning around, they saw none other then the Street Fighters, Ken and Ryu.

"We never thought they'd actually let you come," Ryu said, carefully hoisting Lucas onto his shoulders. Lucas let out a little giggle and held on tightly, as to not fall off.

"What do you mean?" Ness asked.

"Well for one, I mean, I don't see anyone else around looking out for you. I figured that they'd place Zelda or Samus in charge of watching you three," Ken replied, letting a hearty laugh loose when Ness started to splash him playfully.

Suddenly, there was a holler. "Toony, where did you and your friends run off to?!"

"They're over here, Link," Ryu responded calmly.

"Thank the golden goddesses… I swear, had Ryu and Ken not found you, I would've spent the next couple days looking. You need to get more noticeable…"

Cloud, who was beside Link, turned and whispered something to Ness. The child nodded, and whispered the exact same thing to Toon Link. Ryu, Ken, and Lucas all got an uneasy feeling at seeing a conspiracy in action.

Link never had the time to run, he was immediately drowned in a huge splash of water, created by the conspirators themselves.

"Why you-!"

Meanwhile, Lucina, Chrom, Robin and Corrin were all chilling in a hot tub.

"Father… I've never felt anything quite like it. With all the fighting around, I never really expected it to be so… soothing, in the least.

"I know right? This place has so many uncharted wonders," the prince said in response to his daughter.

"Strange… It sort of reminds me of the hot springs back in my home. They all have that sort of calming vibe…" Corrin added, letting himself settle into the familiarity.

"Hey, Robin? Don't you have anything to say about this?" Chrom asked, turning to the tactician.

What they didn't know was that the mage was already asleep.

"That was awesome!" Pit said happily, leaping into the air and giving his wings a little flutter.

"I know right? We went so fast, I bet we even went faster than Wolf's Wolfin!" Roy replied, giving Pit a grin.

As they both started walking over to the slides again, they heard something. It seemed to have been a gasp of pain.

"Who… What was that?" Pit asked nervously, all cheerfulness drained from his demeanor.

There was another gasp, and a small cry of "Ike..."

"I don't know but… I guess I'll go...check it out?" Roy replied, anxiety biting at his nerves.

"I… I'll come too! Just- Just so you aren't alone, okay?!" Pit said, wings spread in a gesture of protection.

They followed the sound of the hitched gasping and quiet sobbings, and arrived near what seemed to be mock beach-huts.

"Why would anyone be back here?" Roy asked himself, but Pit happened to overhear and said, "Uh, because it's really close to the wave pool?"

"Then again, most of them are near the front of the park, relaxing together. Only a creepy person would go all the way back here."

Roy soon located the source of the sound, who was none other then the Emblem Prince himself.

"Marth?!"

"Roi-kun?"

"Marth, what in the name of-? Why... Why in the world are you even back here?"

Pit's face flushed red at seeing the prince in his current state. "Uh…. I'll…. I'll go get Ike. I'll be right back!" he said hurriedly, rushing to get out and find said mercenary.

"Watashi wa... Aiku o hanete nigemashita... Shikashi watashi wa suberimashita…"

(Translation: I… I splashed Ike and ran away… but I slipped)

"Really Marth?" the teenage redhead facepalmed. He knew that the Marth only spoke in Japanese when he was extremely hurt or upset, and in this case it was both.

Just then, Pit came back, the Radiant Hero in tow. "Finally. There you are, I've been looking… WAIT, Marth?!"

Ike rushed over quickly, examining the Hero-King as a mother would her child. "Marth, for the love of Ashunera, what happened?"

"Aiku… Mōshiwakearimasen… I should have listened to you…"

(Translation: Ike… I'm sorry)

"Marth, it's fine. I should have watched you more carefully. But you know, I can't run half as fast as you can, so you'll have to bear with my slowness."

At this point, Pit and Roy, thinking the situation was well taken care of, carefully left to go on another water slide.

"It… hurts…"

"How badly?"

"I… don't think I can walk on it…"

"That won't be a problem." With that being said, Ike hoisted Marth up, holding him bridal-style.

"Ike!"

"What? You said it hurt too much for you to walk on it. I'll do the walking for you."

Fortunately for the pair, there was a medical station just in case an accident like this happened.

"Wow Marth, when we came here, I was thinking you were going to help us treat the patients, not be one of them," Zelda said. The Hylian was applying bandages to Marth's feet.

"..."

"How bad is it?" Ike asked. He had been worried sick about his friend, but decided not to show it.

"He broke his leg in the fall, and twisted the ankle on his opposite leg. And there were a couple minor scratches here and there, but nothing too bad outside of the leg."

The princess then turned to Marth. "This is why, when you see signs around the park that say "Don't Run", you listen and you don't run!"

Bracing himself for another hour of Zelda's lectures, he felt a soft squeeze on his hand, as if to reassure him that he'll live.

As Marth thought to himself, he couldn't be more grateful to have such caring friends.

Ok then! How was it?
