Whilst training in the waters of Cianwood City, Glitchy spotted Suicune on the outskirts of the city. Upon approaching the legendary Pokémon, it danced around her then fled. Mystery Man Eusine approached her and challenged her to a battle in the hopes Suicune would notice him if her defeated her. Tidus took out his Drowzee and Electrode then Edgar defeated his Haunter. Disappointed he had lost, Mystery Man Eusine bid Glitchy a fare well then left.
Glitchy travelled back to Olivine City and entered Jasmine's gym to challenge her for her next badge. Tidus took down Jasmine's two Magnemite with Crunch then Gatcha took over to take down her Steelix with Hydro Pump. Tidus and Gatcha helped Glitchy earn the Mineral Badge from Jasmine along with TM 23. She left Jasmine's gym and made her way to Mahogany Town.
Along the way to Mahogany Town, Glitchy stumbled across Suicune once again this time near some Apricot trees. The legendary Pokémon once again fled upon seeing her shortly followed by Eusine arriving not long after the Pokémon had left. Eusine seemed to be Suicune's number one fan after hearing stories about the Pokémon from his grandfather. He loudly announced he would keep chasing Suicune which to Glitchy meant she would end up seeing more of him in the near future,
Glitchy arrived back to Mahogany Town and headed straight for Pryce's ice theme gym. Having managed to solve Pryce's ice theme puzzles and defeat the trainers along the way, Glitchy came face to face with Pryce himself. Edgar took down Pryce's Seel with a Psybeam. Max's Fly weakened Pryce's Piloswine but was taken out with Ice Fang so Gatcha took over to finish him off with Bite and Dragon Rage. Gatcha then went on to defeat Pryce's Dewgong with Bite. Having won her most changeling battle yet earned Glitchy her seventh badge, the Glacier Badge. He also gave her TM07 along with the badge,
When Glitchy left the gym she received a phone call from Professor Elm. He was calling to tell her there was something odd happening with the radio broadcast, someone talking about Team Rocket. Glitchy thought back to the grunt that was eyeing up the radio tower some time ago. She decided to tune into her own radio to see if Team Rocket had managed to take over Goldenrod City's Radio Tower. As suspected they had indeed succeeded to do just that. They were using the broadcast to try and contact their old boss, Giovanni. This of course meant she would have to travel to Goldenrod City, with the help of her trusted Max, and confront Team Rocket head on.
