CHAPTER 11: REUNION.
(POV: Mysterious Narrator.)
A few hours later, at the tri-fork of tunnels, Billster was busy fidgeting a mechanical pencil he had. Though he normally used it for writing and other things, Billster found that making the eraser end spin about to be quite engrossing, and oddly satisfying. Suddenly the 14 year old heard footsteps in the snow, and turned to find Oliver at the entrance, panting.
"Long distance?" He asked.
"Yeah." Oliver replied as he sighed. "Timothy told me to head back, due to his demon beginning to stir."
Billster sighed as he heard Oliver's words on Timothy. The 14 year old knew about how much trouble his older brother had with his demon, and how unsuccessful he was in getting rid of them. Then the teen looked at Oliver worriedly.
"Was... he..."
"Full blown demonic?" Oliver finished. "No. His voice was just getting distorted."
"I see." Billster said as he sighed in relief. "Let's hope he stays that way."
"Yeah..." Oliver replied in agreement. "Anyway, how long have you been sitting there, Billster?"
"Not sure." Billster replied. "It has been very difficult to tell time when you can't see the sky or sunlight."
"I bet." Oliver replied. "Anyway, we better go find Timothy."
"Right."
But before they could, there was the sound of snowy footsteps, and then out of the center tunnel was Timothy. Billster smiled as he hugged his older brother.
"Brother."
"Hey Billster." Timothy greeted. "Good to see ya, but, weren't you fighting Hunter?"
"I was.." Billster replied. "But eventually he just left."
"I see." Timothy said with a sigh. "Anyway, I've got Malstorm and am starting to get over some of my demonic trauma."
"That's great, brother." Billster replied with a smile. "Thomas has GOT to hear about this."
"Then let's get on to finding him." Timothy replied.
"Right!" Billster and Oliver replied.
And so, Billster, Timothy and Oliver sprinted down the right tunnel as fast as their feet could carry them. Eventually, after a few hours and stops, they found the opening Douglas made along with a huge majority of their friends. As Oliver conversed with Duck, Billster and Timothy both sat next to their brother as he sat up, with his wounds still healing some. As they sat, Timothy spoke first.
"Hey Thomas, I've got Malstorm and I'm beginning to get over my trauma with my demon."
"That really great news brother." Thomas replied. "I'm glad to hear that. Hard to believe that all 3 of us now have Legendary weapons." He chuckled. "I'm pretty sure that Jason, Devlin and Jessica would be proud of us."
"Or knowing them..." Timothy added with a snigger. "They would rub it in our own faces."
"Yeah." Billster chuckled. "I still remember the time when Thomas drove his E2 for the first time. Those three would never let any of us hear the end of it."
"Yeah." Thomas chuckled again before frowning. "But still... I do miss them."
"We all do, brother." Timothy replied. "We all do."
"Nothing will happen to us, this time." Billster added. "We'll all be sure to have each other's backs."
Thomas smiled as his brothers comforted him. Ever since their days in Brighton, Thomas, Timothy and Billster were an inseparable trio. The three Brothers always stood up for one another when either one of them was being bullied or harassed. But, before any one of them could say another word to each other, a familiar voice sounded from the outside of the barrier.
"Sister!" It said. "I know You're in There! Come on out!"
"Oh Frick!" Percy exclaimed. "It's Strea!"
"Well, I guess it's time for us to take a stand." Timothy scowled as he then reached for Malstorm.
"No Timothy." Lady said to the 19 year-old. "It's time for me to take a stand against Strea."
"Hey!" Duck exclaimed. "What about the plan?!"
"That's plan B." Lady replied. "Plan A is me going up against my sister one on one. Besides, she's probably just as scared of me as I am of her. Sorcerer-Knights, stay here for now and keep your guard up."
Everyone then nodded as Lady partially opened the barrier and stepped out onto the snow outside, to find Strea there, waiting for her. Strea smiled a creepy smile as she spoke to Lady.
"Hello again Lady. It's certainly nice to see you." She said with a mocking tone. "Shame that you'll be impaled on my blade today."
Lady shivered as she began to reach for her sword.
"Oh, did I scare you?"
"No." Lady replied as her hand grasped around her rapier's handle. "You didn't scare me. I was merely shivering because of the cold!"
Drawing her rapier, Lady thrusted her sword at her twisted sister, and made a scratch on her cheek. The message was pretty clear at this moment, that Lady was not going to simply shrivel down to the ground when meeting face to face with Strea.
"HOW DARE YOU!"
Irritated, Strea grabbed her sword and was about to slash Lady, but before she could, the Magicborn heir had activated a sword spell and was now doing multiple pierces and thrusts as her evil sister screamed in pain and fear. Eventually Strea fell to the ground panting, trying to catch her breath, as Lady walked closer and closer to do the final blow. Once she was near Strea, Lady raised her rapier ready to do the final blow. As she looked at Strea, Lady spoke sternly to her.
"Strea Allcroft, former Magicborn princess of Sodor. As punishment for misusing magic, and treason against your family, I, Lady Allcroft, shall execute you now."
Strea sneered, as she then noticed her hands emitting a black aura. She sniggered evilly as she then spoke her next few words.
"Oh really?" She said to her sister. "Shouldn't you be concerned about something else?"
Lady was confused for a moment until she noticed shadows moving from the ground to where Strea was kneeling. The shadows then formed into the same monster from the day before, and the minion began attacking. As Lady dodged the minion's attacks, Strea laughed maniacally as she walked towards a shadowy area.
"Have fun with that one, sister!" She called. "See you another time! If you survive that is!"
Strea then laughed maniacally as she leaped into the shadowed area, leaving her creation to deal with Lady.
