A Few Days Later

It's been a few days since the defeat of Thanos and his army and the death of Tony Stark. At Clint Barton's farm, he joyfully reunites with his family. At the Midtown School of Science and Technology, which has restarted its academic year, making their credits from 2018 invalid, in the halls, Peter and Ned meet up. They share a handshake before giving each other a heartfelt hug. In San Francisco, Scott Lang watches fireworks with Cassie Lang and Hope Van Dyne. In Green Hill, Sonic, Tails, Amy, Big, Froggy, and Knuckles all celebrate the Avengers' victory along with Team Dark and Team Chaotix after defeating Thanos. Elsewhere at the Chao Garden, Vanilla and Cheese are reunited with Cream and Chocola after their sudden disappearance. In Silver's Future, Silver looks at the future, which is now better after Banner brought everybody back to life. In Blaze's World, Blaze looks upon the kingdom before looking at Marine, who is reunited with half of her Coconut Crew before joining in the reunion. In Dream Land, Kirby and his friends watch the fireworks in celebration after a hard-fought battle before Carol joins in. In Royal Woods, Lincoln and half of his family reunite with their friends and half their family, especially Lori, who is reunited with Bobby after Banner made them reappear. In Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob arrives home and reunites with Gary. In the sewers of New York, at the Turtles' Lair, the turtles reunite with April and Casey. In Wakanda, Ramonda is now reunited with her son and daughter after their disappearance before overseeing the celebrations from their balcony. Over all this, we hear Tony's voice narrating.

Tony (voiceover): Everybody wants a happy ending, right? But it doesn't always roll that way. Maybe this time. I'm hoping if you play this back, it's in celebration. I hope families are reunited, I hope we get it back, and something like a normal version of the planet has been restored. If there ever was such a thing. God, what a world. Universe, now. If you told me ten years ago that we weren't alone, let alone, you know, to this extent, I mean, I wouldn't have been surprised. But come on, you know? The epic forces of darkness and light that have come into play. And, for better or worse, that's the reality Morgan's gonna have to find a way to grow up in.

In the Stark household. Pepper, Morgan, Happy Hogan, and Rhodey all watch Tony's holographic message being projected from his Iron Man helmet. Tony is sitting down recording the message. It was recorded the night before the Time Heist.

Tony (hologram): So I thought I'd probably better record a little greeting... In the case of an untimely death on my part. I mean, not that, death at any time isn't untimely. This time travel thing that we're gonna try and pull off tomorrow, it's got me scratching my head about the survivability of it all. That's the thing. Then again, that's the hero gig. Part of the journey is the end. [Tony suddenly gets up walking towards his camera] What am I even trippin' for? Everything's gonna work out exactly the way it's supposed to. [He leans down and smiles. He is looking straight at Morgan] I love you 3000.

The message ends and the hologram cuts out.

Moments later, Pepper, Morgan, Happy, and Rhodey proceed to go outside. Pepper carries a wreath out of the house to an audience waiting outside for the intimate funeral. She lays the wreath on the lake. On top of the wreath is Tony's first Arc Reactor which Pepper had framed with the words "PROOF THAT TONY STARK HAS A HEART" back in 2008. Pepper, Morgan, Happy, and Rhodey, all being joined by Steve, Peter Parker, May Parker, Thor, Bruce, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Yacker, Cream, Cheese, Vanilla, Chocola, Big, Froggy, Blaze, Silver, Marine, Stephen, Wong, Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Espio, Charmy, Vector, SpongeBob and his family, Gary, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, Pearl, Mrs. Puff, Plankton, Karen, Larry, the Loud and McBride families, Ray, Mighty, the turtles, Splinter, Casey, April, Karai, Baxter Stockman, Scott, Hope, Janet Van Dyne, Hank Pym, Peter Quill, Nebula, Rocket, Groot, Drax, Mantis, T'Challa, Okoye, Shuri, Clint Barton & his family, Wanda, Bucky, Sam, Harley Keener, who has helped Tony as a during the Mandarin War 11 years ago, Thaddeus Ross, who has grieved for Tony until he had a change of heart after his hatred towards the Avengers ended, Maria Hill, Carol, Kirby, King Dedede, Bandana Dee, and last but not least, Nick Fury, silently watching the wreath float away. Somewhere at the hillside area, Meta Knight watches the funeral from a mile away from the group right before flying away.

Minutes after the funeral, Clint and Wanda, standing by the riverside shortly afterwards following the loss of their friends.

Clint: You know, I wish there was a way that I could let her know. That we won. [Looks over to Wanda.] We did it.

Wanda: She knows. They both do.

Clint gives her a side hug and Wanda reciprocates.

Meanwhile, with Happy and Morgan.

Happy: How you doing, squirt?

Morgan: Good.

Happy: You good? Okay. You hungry?

Morgan: Mm. Hm.

Happy: What do you want?

Morgan: Cheeseburgers.

Happy: You know your dad liked cheeseburgers? I'm gonna get you all the cheeseburgers you want.

Morgan: Okay.

Elsewhere, with Carol, Kirby, Fury, and Hill.

Fury: Well it's good to see you two again!

Carol: We missed you, Fury!

Kirby: It's great to have the gang back together.

Hill: Nick told me all about you both.

Carol: And he also said about Maria Rambeau.

Kirby: Good ol' Lieutenant Trouble.

They laugh at the puffball's joke.

New Asgard, day

Valkyrie: So, when can we expect you back?

Thor: Um, about that...

Valkyrie: Thor. Your people need a king.

Thor: No, they already have one.

Valkyrie: That's funny. You're being serious?

[Thor nods his head]

Thor: It's time for me to be who I am rather than who I'm supposed to be. But you, you're a leader. That's who you are.

Valkyrie: You know I'd make a lot of changes around here.

Thor: I'm counting on it. Your Majesty.

[Thor offers Valkyrie a farewell handshake]

Valkyrie: What will you do?

Thor: I'm not sure. For the first time in a thousand years, I have no path. I do have a ride, though.

The reunited Guardians of the Galaxy had the Benatar parked on the cliff.

Rocket: Move it or lose it, hairbag.

Inside the Benatar, Quill searching for Gamora on the holographic screen as Thor walks in he closes it.

Thor: Oh, here we are. Tree! Good to see you. (He removes his shades and taps Quill on the shoulder) The Asgardians of the Galaxy, back together again. Where to first? (As he touches the screens map to pick their destination)

Quill: Hey, just so you know, this is my ship still. I'm in charge.

Thor: I know. I know. Of course, you are. Of course.

Quill: See, you say "Of course", but then you touch the map. It makes you think that maybe you didn't realize I was in charge.

Thor: Quail that's your own insecurities in there.

Quill: Quail?

Thor: Okay? I'm merely trying to be of service and assisting.

Quill: It's Quill.

Thor: That's what I said.

Drax: You should fight one another for the honor of leadership.

Nebula: Sounds fair.

[Quill looks around]

Quill: It's not necessary.

Thor: It's not.

Quill: Okay?

Rocket: I got some blasters, unless you guys wanna use knives.

Mantis: [enthusiastically] Oh, yes. Please, use knives.

Drax: Yeah, knives.

Groot: I am Groot.

[Both Thor and Quill laugh but Quill tries to laugh harder]

Quill: Not necessary...

Thor: There shall be no knifing one another. Everybody knows who's in charge.

Quill: [glances at Thor] Me, right?

Thor: Yes, you. Of course. Of course. Of course.

Meanwhile, with Happy and Morgan joined by Pepper Potts

The trio are enjoying their cheeseburgers following the funeral of Tony Stark.

Happy: It sure feels like having cheeseburgers with your dad at a time like this.

Morgan: (laughs) You're so funny, Happy!

Pepper: We actually do miss having him around. Morgan, there's someone who we want you to meet.

Peter Parker and his aunt, May Parker arrive.

Peter: Hey, Happy, Miss Potts! (looks at Morgan, who looks back) And what do we have here?

Pepper: Peter, this is Morgan, mine and Tony's daughter!

Peter: I'm Peter Parker! But you can call me Spider-Man!

Morgan: Hi, Peter! My daddy told me all about you.

Peter: Thanks, Morgan! I know your was an awesome guy!

May: Nice to meet you, Morgan!

Happy: Anyway, we all honor the legacy of Tony Stark.

All 5: To Tony!

As they all enjoy their meal after honoring the legendary billionaire Tony Stark, also known as the Iron-Man.

This funeral scene was so emotional for the audience to see. Did I mention that this is Chadwick Boseman's final scene as T'Challa in the movie just one year before his death. Most importantly, Morgan finally meets Peter Parker after he got blipped back into existence.
