Natasha's POV

June 23rd, 2011

"My my, an intriguing new face caught my eye." An accented voice spoke soothingly to attract my attention away from my sister and Mickie's spar session. There was something familiar about it but I couldn't put a face to the voice's owner. I glanced over to see a woman about Daisy's height with the brightest of blue eyes. Long almost black hair trailed down her back, a slender build that could match some of the other girls. Her skin was pale compared to the others but it seemed that she had just finished her workout. Wait a second, that's Winter. "You seemed mesmerized with the Knockouts over there. Are you new here?" She asked with a warm smile, different from what I was used to seeing on the television. Right, I have never met her backstage so I don't know what she's like outside of her character. I wonder why I have never been introduced to her like the others?

"Um.. No.. I-I'm just v..visiting." I hate that I get so shy around new people, it makes me look like an idiot. I am not very talkative, I am surprised that I even came to such a crowded gym. The girls are the ones that hang around the corner though. Winter gave a nod while pulling a hairband off of her wrist; pulling her hair back in a ponytail.

"I see, nothing wrong with that. Mind if I sit here?" She gestured to the other side of the bench. I looked over and nodded my head, tilting my head down to hide my blush. Why can't I act normal? Natasha, you gotta stop making a fool of yourself. The Knockout took a seat next to me and released a long sigh. She's probably exhausted. I have seen some of the workouts that the girls do and I know I could never do any of them. "Are you enjoying your visit here? Your attire doesn't seem to be equipped for the Florida weather." She spoke referring to my jeans and large, red hoodie. I don't like wearing anything else. This hoodie is my favorite since dad got it for me a couple years back. I am not a fashionable girl, I prefer comfort so hoodies and sweatpants are my friends.

"It was kind of a l-last second decision. But it's o-okay because I get to spend the s-summer with my sissy." I could feel my cheeks getting hotter as my eyes drifted over toward the ring. Mickie and Daisy were getting a practice match in but it seems to be way more competitive than what I normally see on the show. They were both calling out different moves, it seemed to be very fast paced. I don't know how they can both do all those flashy moves.

"I see, this is intriguing." Winter mumbled, I looked back over to the mysterious woman. Her eyes lingered over at the two in the ring. The brunette's finger tapped on her chin while she seemed to be in deep thought. I wonder what she's thinking about. "It seems that they are participating in a more serious spar today."

"Are S-sissy and Mickie always this competitive with each other?" I asked as Winter cocked her head to the side, like I had caught her off guard. Those blue eyes went back to the Knockouts in the ring.

"Ah so you are Daisy's little sister." Right, I didn't exactly say who my sister actually was. I didn't give a verbal response but instead nodded my head. Winter flashed a wide yet warm smile and spoke again. "Friends are always competitive with each other. Those two are always trying to show up each other. It is entertaining to watch them, especially your sister. She's full of surprises."

"You are friends with my sister, right? Why haven't I met you like I did the other girls?"

Winter didn't seem to have to think long about her answer, "I wouldn't consider myself a friend of hers, she wouldn't see me as such either. Our connection runs deeper than that, it pains me to see her hurting so much. Even though she's trying to hide it, I see right through her facade like I always have." There seemed to be slight discomfort in her voice while looking over toward the practice ring again. The girls have never mentioned Winter to me before only on the television screen. Why is that? She has a strong connection with Daisy, especially to know that she's suffering a lot right now. Wait a second… how does she know about the fight that happened between her and Maria? Or does she only see the pain and not know the cause?

"Why? I think you are a very nice person, W-winter."

A smile graced her lips as she gave a small chuckle. "Thank you but please call me, Katarina." That's a really pretty name.

"That was not the call, Mick!" We heard Daisy shout from the ring as she grabbed the side of her face. Both of us observed the pair as Mickie gave my sister a look that sent a shiver down my spine. There was something unsettling about her gaze, I took a quick glance over to Winter to see if she knew what was going on. She seemed curious about the situation as well. "Alright.. Let's go again." My sister let out a sigh and the pair locked up again, I don't know what the original call was but Mickie quickly raised her knee up to collide the brunette's jaw. Mickie went for another strike with her right hand but Daisy was able to block it and send the older woman crashing into the floor. Something seems different about this sparring, I can't put my finger on it. Those strikes had more weight to them and it seemed all my sister did was play on the defensive. All she seemed to do was block every upcoming hit without displaying any kind of offense. "What's gotten into you!"

"I am improvising, isn't this more exciting? Can't handle it, Champ." I barely heard the former Diva taunt which seemed to make Daisy a little more skeptical. They locked up a second time which was broken up with a headbutt by Mickie, followed by a stiff right hand. Sissy stumbled backwards and crashed to the mat. "You can do better than that. Give me something more. I want to enjoy myself." It was almost a plea while Daisy stood back up to her feet, rubbing her face. I really don't understand what's going on with this match but it seems to bring more heat than earlier. Those hits really look like they are connecting. Now they are both dishing blows to make it seem more even matched. Daisy punched the smaller woman which caused her to stagger a couple steps but nothing more. Mickie was quick to tackle the larger woman to the floor, started hammering away on her. "I am going to deal with you myself, I made a promise!" It was at that moment when my sister seemed to stop all kind defense, her arms slumped to the mat as she only stared at Mickie.

The smaller brunette took that as an opportunity to strike her opponent directly in the face with a hard slap. Katarina started moving beside me and got up to her feet, she seemed to be heading toward the ring. I don't know what's going but I got up and followed behind the Knockout. Daisy wasn't moving in the slightest while Mickie was unleashing what felt like pent up fury on her. That's whenever it hit me, this wasn't a match anymore. She had ill intention to hurt my sister. This was made apparent by Mickie viciously stomping on my sister's right ankle multiple times knowing full well that she was scheduled for the show tonight. Winter seemed to be observing them carefully before sliding into the ring behind the pair, she was quick to wrap her arms around Mickie and pull her off my sister. "Leave. Her. Alone. Mickie!" There was something about the why that she hissed at the small woman that didn't settle right with me, I have heard that tone before. She struggled against Katarina for a couple seconds. Those eyes never left my sister, who continued to look at the ground. "Enough with the senseless violence!"

The brunette managed to free herself from Winter's grasp and turned around to face the former Diva. "Oh look who decided to show herself to aid this bitch. I figured you would show your face soon enough." That stung a little because Mickie has been nothing but nice to me and Daisy.. What's changed to be so mean to my big sister? I thought they were best friends or at least really close. I decided to climb myself into the ring which took a second since I have never done that before.

"S-sissy are you okay?" I mumbled quietly as I got over to her side. She didn't acknowledge me at first but slowly she turned her face to look at me. Those eyes looked so empty, Daisy must be hurting over something besides the whole scoff with Maria. Unless that was a serious fight and she might not be coming back. No. They are suppose to be together for good, Maria said so. What was this promise that Mickie supposedly made her go crazy? "S-sissy.."

"Mickie, this behavior isn't you. Your actions are unreasonable and that's why I stepped in. I suggest you leave and think over what you have done." Katarina spoke calmly as compared to earlier which seemed to be more irritated in it's tone.

"Really? You have the audacity to speak to me like this. You have some nerve. I can deal with both of you myself." Winter didn't say anything to the brunette instead her blue eyes looked directly at myself and Daisy. Her gaze softened a little looking at us before her attention went back to Mickie. "I will enjoy playing with you, Kitty Kat. Just the two of us, you are all alone right now and I know Daisy won't ever come to your aid."

Katarina cocked her head to the side slightly, she seemed taken aback by the last thing that left Mickie's mouth. It had an eerie tone like I heard previously. "Violence isn't going to get you anywhere, it's not going to solve anything." Winter tried to reason with the smaller woman but it seemed to go in one ear and the other. What has gotten into Mickie? Where has this mood shift originated from? "I don't wish to resort to fighting you but I also won't still back and allow you to hurt her."

"Cute. You want to protect her, I will handle you and then finish what I started." She stated nonchalantly, releasing a small chuckle. There was that uneasy tone again as her attention stayed glued to Katarina. No.. I have to do something, I don't want to see Winter get hurt. She seems like such a nice person.

Mickie took a couple steps toward the taller woman, balled her fists like she was about to strike. I refuse to watch anymore violence, especially toward people that I care about. She lunged forward. "S-stop it!" I shouted which got the smaller brunette to freeze in her tracks, brown eyes looking back toward me. Katarina flashed a small smile and released a small sigh. "W-why are you doing this, M-mickie?" I raised my voice slightly while the Knockout could only stare at me. That menacing look in her eyes had faded, that angry scowl was now blank. She didn't say a word to me or anyone else; she walked around us and out of the practice ring. My eyes stayed glued to the woman as she disappeared from our sights. I released a sigh, the drama was over. "A-are you okay, Katarina?"

"I am thanks to you." She reassured me, while her eyes ventured down to Daisy, who was now sitting up beside me. The brunette hasn't said a single word and her eyes never left the canvas. "Pardon love but I never got your name." The way that little nickname was said practically made me blush slightly, why did she call me that? Maybe it's a European thing, I don't know.

"N-natasha." I stammered like an idiot. "Natasha Sanders."

"Nice to meet you, Natasha." Katarina gave another warm smile, her attention went back to Daisy. Her eyes told me how worried she was for my sister. Winter leaned over and her right hand gently caressed the side of Daisy's face. "Love, are you alright?" There was no reaction to the touch, no reaction to anything going on around her. It's like she's completely shut down. Katarina gave me another glance before gently speaking to the brunette again. "Love.. You need to talk to us. Natasha and I are worried about you.." She carefully made her head tilt up so Daisy would be looking directly at her.

"Don't touch me!" My sister snapped, slapping Winter's hand away harshly. "What are you doing here? You have some nerve-"

"K-katarina helped you, sissy. She stopped M-mickie from hurting you anymore." The Champion's head was quick to snap over toward me, her eyes widened hearing what I had to say. "She protected you."

"I couldn't stand by and let Mickie do that to you, love."

"..." My sister remained eerily silent while her eyes stayed glued to Winter, I am sensing an uncomfortable amount of tension right now between the two. I felt her hand grab onto and she stated coldy. "Tasha.. We are leaving." I looked over to Katarina but nodded my head. I don't really have a choice in the matter, Thea isn't here for me to stay with. Daisy grabbed onto the ropes and leaned against them to pull herself up. However that lasted for about ten seconds because the second she took a couple steps, she crashed back to the mat. She winced in pain but was starting a lot more with moving around. Mickie had done some serious damage despite the lack of blood.

"Allow me to assist you back to your hotel room, you're injured." Winter soothed, rushing over to my sister's side. I don't see why I haven't met her sooner, she seems to really care about my sister. If Katarina was anything like her character she portrays on television, she wouldn't have interfered. Right? She's not heartless like her Winter character, she's nice to me like all the other Knockouts. Again I watched Daisy slap away Katarina's hand while trying to assist her back to her feet. The European woman tried again and like beforehand, my sister wasn't having any of it. "I am only trying to help."

"Haven't you done enough to me? Piss off." My older sister snarled viciously, paying no mind to the woman that was only trying to help her. I have never heard such a vicious tone from Daisy before, she's been pretty sweet to everyone thus far. What makes Winter so different? Katarina said they weren't really friends but had some kind of connection. I wonder what that means. How can you have a connection but not be friends? Perhap she is feeling the heartbreak of Mickie's actions and lashing out at anyone she sees fit. That's a possibility.

Katarina looked over toward me with a slight frown, I could tell that my sister's harsh words hurt her feelings. "Come on S-sissy, she's only trying to help you." I decided to speak finally which again attracted her attention toward me. Daisy parted her mouth to retort but shortly after closed them, almost biting in them in anger. She seemed worked up still but remained silent. Those hazel eyes softened whenever looking at me but turned harsh looking over at the other Knockout. Winter decided to extend her hand once again as the younger of the two continued to stare daggers into the blue eyed woman. "Please let her help y-you. I don't want to see you hurting." There wasn't a response from either woman as they continued to stare at each other, this lasted for about thirty more seconds. Daisy finally looked over toward and let a sigh, begrudgingly she took Katarina's hand. The oldest Knockout gently maneuvered Nicole over to her right side, making sure she didn't have to put pressure on that ankle that was attacked.

Her arm wrapped around my sister's side as Katarina directed a smile over toward Daisy. "That wasn't so bad, right love?"

"Shut up." She managed to wince out as I rushed over toward the bench and grabbed her duffel bag that Daisy always carries with her to work out. I didn't want to leave any of her stuff here and make this journey back as simple as possible. None of the other girls were there so there wasn't any time wasted getting toward the parking lot. We had to move slowly because we don't know how bad her ankle is damaged from the earlier assault. Daisy wasn't happy but I am doing what I think is best for her and that's what sister's do for each other. Katarina didn't say anything either as she flashed me a small smile as we made it toward the parking lot. Winter seemed to know which vehicle belonged to Daisy and thankfully we didn't bring the truck today. The European woman got her leaning against the driver's side door before holding out her hand. "What do you want now?" The brunette asked while digging in her bag for the car keys. She found them shortly after and unlocked the car as Katarina was still holding her hand out. "What?" Nicole seemed to realize what the gesture meant and scoffed, "Hell no, I can drive myself home." She's so stubborn I swear, the oldest woman looked over to me, almost concerned, while my sister was eager to get in the car. It's not safe for her to drive herself, I definitely agree with that. I placed my hand on Daisy's shoulder and she looked back at me. She knew what I wanted to say while I remained silent. "Okay whatever you win. I am not happy about this at all."

"Love, that's all you needed to do. I'll make sure you're safe." That accented voice soothe and Daisy scoffed again and handed the keys over to Katarina. Nicole let out a sigh as Winter grabbed a hold of her again and guided her over toward the passenger side. Once Daisy was inside, she spoke pleasantly to me. "Step one completed, allow me to see you both home."

"Thanks again for this, Katarina." She walked over to her side of the vehicle and gave me a reassuring pat on the head. I started to open the back door as she spoke.

"It's not a problem at all, Tasha. I am simply doing what's best for the both of you." I didn't verbally respond but instead blushed at the act of kindness like an idiot. We both got into the vehicle and I noticed that Daisy was glaring hard at the woman behind her with almost malice intent. What's angered her so much? Does she really not like a nice woman like Katarina? Is she being an overprotective big sister? I am not understanding the disdain for a kind woman.

"Yeah.. that's a big load of crap." Daisy decided to scoff as Katarina looked over at her for a brief moment. She didn't retort instead turning her attention back to the road. The ride back to the hotel was eerily silent after that, no one said a word but I felt an awkward tension between the pair riding up front. It was still making me uneasy. But the only thing that matters to me is that my sister is now safe, Katarina has been nothing but nice and helpful. I'll make sure that Daisy is okay regardless if she has ill will toward the European woman. She parked the car in the usual spot that my sister normally parks her car and got out of the driver's seat. Katarina flashed me a small smile while I grabbed the duffel bag and joined her outside of the vehicle. The passenger side door opened but my sister couldn't stand up on her own. Katarina being the polite woman that she is, walked over and extended her hand to assist. "I don't need your help."

"Sissy please." I had to beg once again which got Daisy to glance back at me, her expression softened once again. I could tell that my sister was hesitating a lot but eventually took Winter's hand.

"Love, let's get you back to your room and all relaxed. Do you need me to fetch you any painkillers? Thankfully you aren't in a match tonight, only a segment." There was something comforting about how she was speaking to my sister. Katarina genuinely cares about her, that's how I feel about all this. She was quick to act whenever she realized that Mickie was intentionally meaning to hurt Daisy. She was willingly to fight to protect her. I can't see someone doing all that as some sort of evil person like Nicole is trying to paint her out to be.

The car was locked up and I watched Kat hand the keys back to the brunette, who scoffed lightly. Daisy would occasionally grunt out in pain as Katarina was doing everything in her power to make sure she wasn't putting any pressure on that right ankle. The oldest woman would always give me a bright smile to reassure me that everything was going to be alright. My sister pulled out her key card and opened the door. "Hey you're back ear-" We were greeted at the sight of Candice holding her daughter in her arms. The former Diva snapped her head over in our direction, eyes narrowed as she spoke again. "Why are you here!" The question was of course directed toward the woman that doesn't live in the apartment. She seems furious too. What did Katarina supposedly do to make everyone dislike her so much?

"I-I asked her to help me." I instantly said to avoid anymore backlash toward the other Knockout that was helping me. Candice shot a small glare over toward Winter once again but she didn't respond to me.

"I have no ill intentions here, Candice. I am simply helping Natasha escort Daisy back here since no one else was around. There was an incident and I am afraid that her ankle might be sprained."

"What incident? What did you cause now? Haven't you done.." The former Diva was starting to throw a lot of accusations toward Kat but suddenly trailed off. Her eyes looked at my sister as she gave AkiAnne to me to hold. "Are you okay?" Daisy didn't say a word, her eyes weren't looking at the concerned woman, but through her. Those eyes looked like they lost all life to them, she might be lost in thought. However if someone I considered a bestie did something so unforgivable to me, I would probably be heartbroken too. Candice's hand gently touched my sister's cheek before she glared over toward the other Knockout. "What happened, Katarina? I don't believe for one second that you aren't involved somehow."

"Well I had finished my workout whenever I saw an unfamiliar face," She gestured over toward me which earned Candice's attention for a brief moment. Winter continued, "I introduced myself to Natasha and we started conversing. Natasha was so fascinated by watching her sister practice. That's whenever Daisy started yelling, apparently Mickie was going by the calls. That's whenever I realized that it was no longer a match, Mickie had every intention of hurting Daisy. I pulled Mickie off of her and Mickie was so ill tempered that she was going to attack me. Thankfully Natasha was the real hero and stopped her from doing so." Katarina flashed me a small smile and I couldn't help the blush that spread across my cheeks. I didn't do anything, I was powerless to stop her from hurting my sister. I want to know why? What caused Mickie to stop so uncharacteristically? "Rather you believe my words as truth or not doesn't concern me, it's the truth. Natasha will vouch for me.. Now pardon me, she really needs to get off her bum foot."

"Natasha, is what she is saying the absolute truth?" Candice asked, while stopping Winter from moving any further. I nodded my head and the former Diva shook her head from side to side. "I believe Tasha but I refuse to believe you. Thanks for helping her, I will take it from here. You can leave now." Candice was quick to remove Daisy from Katarina's side and the shorter woman was starting to help her toward the bedroom.

The European woman decided not to say anything else and started to walk out the open door. "W-wait Kat.." I didn't care if this was going to annoy Candice and my sister but I am grateful for Katarina helping me out so much. If it wasn't for her, Mickie could have granted my sister a visit to a hospital bed. Winter turned back around and seemed a little surprised that I called out to her, she smiled. "T-thank you for helping me. I-I'm sorry that they are b-both so hateful to you.."

Her hand made itself known on the top of my head as she patted it lightly. "It's quite alright Natasha, if they dislike me that's fine. I was doing the right thing and that's all that concerns me. Take care of Daisy for me and hopefully I will see you both at the show tonight."

"I w-will!" With those two words, Katarina turned her heels and walked down the hallway. There's this mysterious aura about her that really intrigues me. I kind of what to get to know her more. I never see her in the back with the girls, that must mean she's alone. She's too nice to not have any friends. With a sigh, I shut the door in front of me. From the looks of things, Candice was able to successfully my sister resting in her bed. I think there are some painkillers in the cabinet over here and oh, might go ahead and grab an ice pack too. Probably should have taken her to an urgent care instead but this will have to do for now. I will play doctor and make sure Daisy is alright. Once that is done, I have a new mission on the brain. First I need to figure out what the hell caused Mickie to attack my sister. And lastly, I want to know why everyone seems to hate Katarina. If no one is going to elaborate and tell me why, I might need to dig around and uncover the truth.

No One's POV

The Impact Zone shimmered down for the moment, patiently awaiting the next matchup on the card. It was suppose to be one of the two Knockout's matches on the card tonight. The ring announcer wasn't even present in the ring whenever a familiar song played in the arena but the question was which one would emerge? However it wasn't the two that were going to participate in the upcoming match. The Knockout's Champion walked onto the stage not in her usual ring attire. She was sporting a suit once again with the title strap around her waist on full display. "Wait a second, what business does Daisy have out here?" Taz added his two cents in as the brunette confidently walked down the steel ramp toward the ring. This walk had a particular strut about it and oozed complete confidence in herself. "It seems like the Champ has really taken Karen's advice to heart, hasn't it Mike?"

"Perhaps. She could be mocking the Queen of the Mountain at this point. It's hard telling what is going through the mind of our Champion." Daisy didn't really care what the commentators had to say or what theories were cooking. The brunette walked up the steel stairs and climbed between the middle ropes. The Champ walked over toward the corner and motioned for Christy Hemme to give her a microphone. "Looks like she has something to say.."

"Perhaps she has wisened up and wants to consider Karen's offer to join Immortal after all?"

Nicole rolled her eyes at the mention of the Queen of Mountain's name and slowly paced back toward the center of the ring. She took a couple seconds to soak in the cheers, whistles and everything the audience was giving her. The brunette brought the microphone toward her mouth as the crowd quieted down. "Sixty-seven days. It has been sixty-seven days since I speared Winter off the top of that cage and took what rightfully belonged to me." Her hand gently pressed against the belt with a small roar of cheers. "But these past two months haven't been the paradise that I wanted, no, it wouldn't be that easy. There has been a particular thorn in my side since then trying to make my life a living hell. No. Not just me.. My girls as well. Trying to sever the bond that I desperately wanted to rebuild. A bond that was severed while I was underneath Winter's spell. The self-proclaimed Queen of the Mountain has thrown several accusations my way. That I was Kurt Angle's Mistress, that I would betray my girls. Both of which are wrong might I add. I mean Kurt did trust the identity of the Mistress solely to me but that's beside the point." Nicole stated matter of factly while sending a small smirk toward the camera. She let out a small sigh before continuing. "Which brings me to Slammiversary, where I had originally thought I was going to defend my Knockout's Championship against the winner of a battle royal. Karen decided to change things up once again like the slithering snake she is, however that didn't go according to plan. Did it?"

Nicole seemed to ponder what to say next and merely shook any negative thoughts out of her head, trying to not allow the throbbing pain in her ankle to show. "I survived against all the odds, against ten other Knockouts. Sure, I might have made some unlikely alliances even if it was for a moment. I never imagined seeing myself considering to cooperate with the likes of Tara and Winter ever again. But like me, they understood the situation. I took those risks and was rewarded in the end. I got to face one of my best friends, Angelina. I have nothing but respect for my tag team partner, she really pushed me to the limit. If I would have been a couple seconds slower, I would no longer be standing here as your Knockout's Champion." Her hand gently slid over the gold plated title belt as a smile crept across her lips. The smile was short lived, reminiscing was over. A more serious look took over as the brunette turned to the entrance ramp. "But the question stands, what now? Simple. I welcome all challengers to try and take me to my limit again. I want you to try and take my championship away. I am the Champion that this division needs and the people deserve.. I am not a coward, so come on.."

"This is a bold claim by our Champion here." Tenay was quick to say.

"Bit of an ego at the end there by Daisy, I think having that belt is going to her head." Taz of course had something negative to say about the situation. Perhaps it was true, she might have a bit of an ego or it's mistaken with oozing confidence.

"Nonsense, she wants to be the Champion that we all deserve to see every week. I think she's doing a fine job."

One hand rested comfortably on her hip, the other kept the microphone toward her mouth. Naturally she was expecting the Queen of the Mountain or Winter to approach her and spit some bullshit. The stage was empty, Daisy parted her lips to speak but was cut off by a song playing. 'Hardcore Country!' The brunette cocked her head to the side as the audience cheered loudly for the former Champion. Not what Nicole had expected but watched curiously as Mickie James ran onto the stage, performing her signature pose. She was already prepared with a microphone in hand. Daisy observed as Mickers flashed a small smile toward the woman in the ring, it made her uneasy remembering the events earlier in the day. She snapped herself out of those thoughts that might hinder her performance. 'Hey, hey can't you see? I'm a rockin' southern girl runnin' wild and free. Hey, y'all walkin' through the door-' "Now now, Daisy, be careful what you wish for honey, you might bite off more than you can chew." Nicole arched a brow while observing the shorter Knockout slowly walk down the ramp.

"Might bite off more than I can chew, huh?" The member of the Beautiful People repeated the last few words, not really fazed by the small threat. Mickie made her way up the steel steps as Daisy gestured for her to join her inside. "You understand that thrill of being pushed to your limits, to not be shackled down by doubt. I don't care what obstacles are thrown at me, I'll show the world who's the best."

Miss Hardcore Country climbed into the ring, walking merely inches away from Daisy, her finger pressed against gold plated belt. "Honey, that's where you are wrong. You haven't gone against me, you haven't made me tap or pin me for the three count. I will admit at Slammiversary you got the better of me. I have nothing but respect for you as a performer."

"I can't doubt that you are one of the best to ever set foot inside of the Impact Zone, we have watched each other for years and grown together. I respect the hell out of you however you can't say that you are the best because you have never beaten me." It was true, both were veterans of the business although Mickie started a couple years before Daisy had. They both debuted on the roster of WWE in 2005, being paired under the two more influential Divas of their era. Nicole left the business for a couple years however if she had stayed, there would be no doubt that they would have been the best of rivals. Sure they have sparred together numerous times but that doesn't count for them. They have been on opposite teams and even the same teams, they know each other like the back of their hands.

"You're right. I haven't. Yet.." The crowd cheered slightly at the nonchalant statement but Daisy knew that the Virginia Native was completely serious. She wasn't going to hide the excitement and released a small chuckle.

"I do admire your confidence, Mickie."

"It's oozing off of you too, Champ. But the reason I am out here is to not demand for a match for that title. It's to ask for one. Do you remember what you said, that you were going to fix your mistakes, all of them?" Daisy didn't have to think long about that question, it was definitely her mission to redeem herself after being under Winter's control. She took away the title that she helped her win, the Beautiful People were complete once again and no one was going to change that. Katarina no longer had the Tag Team Titles that they won on a whim. Well it was originally suppose to be Angelina and Winter winning them but the motorcycle woman was at fault there. The one that attacked Lauren was Daffney however Daisy knows that she hurt her friends a lot. It broke her hurt, she wouldn't be able to forgive herself for that. What else needed to be fixed? Nicole nodded her head as Mickie decided to continue, "Back at Against All Odds, I walked in as the Champion against Winter, but neither one of us were alone. I had Maria in my corner and she had you." Daisy had to maintain a straight face despite all the rushing emotions from hearing her girlfriend's name. Nicole hadn't heard from Maria since she fled that day, the brunette wanted to give her space. But not knowing what was going on was tearing her apart, thankfully she had Candice and Natasha as support right now. "Winter was only victorious because you provided the distraction so she could spray that mist in my eyes. I am not one for excuses however I thought you deserved to know what trouble you caused me."

This seemed to trouble the Champion, she had originally thought she had fixed all of those mistakes already. It seems she missed a pretty big one. "I understand, I don't remember everything while under Winter's spell but I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. You deserve a fair rematch for this title and I would feel privileged to be the one to wrestle you for it." Mickie couldn't help but smirk as the fans crowd wildly at the challenge being accepted, the Virginia Native knew that Daisy wasn't going to resist a challenge at this magnitude.

"Thank you. Don't start whining whenever I take that championship away from you."

"Don't whine whenever I defeat you, Mick.." The brunette trailed off, her eyes were no longer looking at her future opponent, they were glaring down at the steel ramp or rather the person coming down it. Mickie's eyes were glancing behind Daisy, looking at the woman that had just climbed the barricade. There was never any music whenever these two made their presence known. Nicole locked her eyes with ODB, who was coming in hot. Miss Jackie had Mickie's attention as she climbed up on the apron. A short glance between the two in the ring and they understood what was about to happen. "I see. The stooges have come to play but you don't know who you two are picking fights with. Let's go Mickie." The microphones hit the canvas in sync and both babyface Knockouts sprinted toward the heels. Mickie has never been on the end of an assault by these hard-hitting women but Daisy has gotten used to them, courtesy of Karen Jarrett. She wasn't going to let them ruin anything.

"Come on whore, I will be the one that's going to get that title off your waist!" Jessica mocked, sliding into the ring which was what Daisy was waiting for. She began hammering down on ODB's back while being tackled down onto the mat. Both of them looked to be throwing stiff hits while Mickie was handling her own against Miss Jackie. Nicole was able to get to her feet, decking ODB straight in the jaw.

"Is that all you got hussie?" The vicious snarl was returned with the Knockout's Champion mocking the Beer Goddess. ODB was livid and continued her ongoing beatdown but this time, Daisy was dishing out more than usual. The brunette wasn't going to continue to be beatdown by the likes of them, she knew how much of a threat this large woman was. Daisy went to kick the heel in the gut but her foot was caught.

Nicole braced herself for impact, she knew that she wouldn't be able to get the mule kick off, Jess would only beat her down. She would have to wait for an opening and hit even harder. However that was never the case because a heel connected to the back of the head of ODB and sent her down to the canvas. The movement was very familiar to everyone around. Mickie smiled, "You're welcome."

Behind the Virginia Native, Jacqueline was getting back up to her feet and charging toward the oblivious Mickie James. Daisy gave a short glance between the both of them, the shorter woman nodded as she watched Nicole spin around. Mick was quick to move to the left as a Beauty Shot connected to the face of Miss Jackie. "You're welcome."

"You know Taz, I don't think anyone knows each other better than these two, they don't even have to speak. It's like they are reading each other's minds. I can't wait to see this match.."

Both of the heel Knockouts rolled outside the ring and started to retreat back toward the ramp, clearly they didn't expect these two to put up a fight. They would have to rethink their strategy. Daisy and Mickie shared another glance between each other, giving a high five before turning their attention back toward ODB and Jackie. Tonight they were allies and would continue to help each other against the likes of those who have alignment with Karen Jarrett. Soon both Mickie and Daisy would be in this ring together as opponents for the first time. "Is that all you got?" Nicole decided to taunt both of the women outside of the ring. Mickie twirled a finger with a smirk on her face; she wasn't going to back down from a fight either. ODB and Jackie exchanged looks between each other but were unable to retaliate, two hard shots sent them crumbling to the floor.

"We will take it from here babe." Daisy couldn't help but smile upon seeing the two blondes that were her partners. Velvet and Angelina were their opponents for the upcoming match, which was conveniently right after this segment. Mickie gestured over toward the title on the brunette's waist before making her way out of the ring. Nicole ate up the reaction of the crowd the entire time, it gave her goosebumps. To her, this was almost a dream match to her and the audience was going to be in for a treat. The Beautiful People member watched her teammates roll the heels into the ring before walking down the steel steps. Her ankle was hurting like hell and all she wanted to do was sit and watch the rest of the show with her friends and Natasha. Mickie hasn't said a word to her since earlier and Daisy knew what it was about. She was keeping a promise between the two, she couldn't hold a grudge against the Virginia Native. However considering everything that has happened today, was something else going on?

Maria's POV

During that day..

The past six days have been nothing but an everlasting hell for me. All I have managed to do is cry until my eyes burned and I could no longer produce any tears. Never in my wildest dreams would I think that two of the people I love most… would do something some unforgiving to me. It was a secret that was hidden for years and would have continued if Candice didn't happen to run into Mickie down there. She knew full well what she was intending to do and that was sleep with my girlfriend.. Now we learned that Katarina was the one messaging her that day and Daisy really had no idea she was coming down. I want to believe that but how did she know the hotel the girls and I were at? Was it something Daisy told her whenever she first arrived, before we faithfully reunited again. I didn't have any contact with my then ex girlfriend but Candice was informing her of everything. Her finding out about Phillip ruined the chances of her contacting me again. I .. I am just so furious, fuck the both of them.. Do I really mean that though? I have such mixed emotions about all of this. To find out something so serious like an ongoing affair from Katarina of all people, surely she had been holding onto this. That bitch never has pure intentions but despite that, I am happy she told me. I would have never found out about this otherwise. I looked down at my phone to see a string of text messages for Candice as I closed them, I wasn't going to talk to that bitchstabbing bitch. Tears were trying to form in the corner of my eyes upon seeing my background photo. Of course it was of me and Daisy, the woman that was sleeping with one of my closest friends. However judging by Nicole's side of the situation it was due to her mental state that it all started. I feel bad for not trying to talk to her reasonably but I was just so furious. I need time to cool off and reevaluate everything. Mickie's advice stayed in my head, I needed to talk to them about this without Katarina's presence. My main concern is that the witchy bitch is going to try something while I am away, but Mickers promised she wouldn't let Daisy fall back to her. It eases my worries a little..

Shaking the overwhelming sadness away, I closed my eyes and wiped the droplets away. I never got to tell my girlfriend that I had an appearance at NorthEast Wrestling today, which has been my first appearance since leaving Impact for stupid reasons. I want to find my own path and right now, TNA has a lot of stars and it doesn't seem like the right fit for me. I arrived pretty early considering the event doesn't start for another hour and wondered around making small talk with other wrestlers. Food was calling my name and I walked over to the small catering area which consisted of a couple small, white tables. There was only one man sitting all alone with a box of pizza, I didn't recognize him. One thing that stuck out to me what the black hat that read out 'ROH'. Why the hell not? Conversations with possible new friends will help this uneasy feeling go away. "So… you work for ROH?" Are you fucking kidding me Maria Louise, that's the best you can come up with? It's obvious he does.

The man noticed my presence and looked up, mid bite of his pepperoni pizza. The first thing I noticed was his bright blue eyes, the man was pretty good looking, maybe mid to late twenties. I could tell underneath that t-shirt that he was pretty built but not unbearing like some wrestlers I have seen. He had a little bit of stubble on his face which defined it handsomely. What? I am bisexual after all, I can think a guy is attractive. I am curious to why he hasn't answered my question, all he has done is stare at me. Do I have something stuck in between my teeth? Do I have something on my face? He swallowed his bite of pizza and finally answered me. "Yeah."

"Is it okay that I sit here?" I asked, pointing to the chair in front of me and him.

"Y-yeah sure, go ahead." He turned his head to the side, almost shyly as I took my seat in front of him. "You're Maria Kanellis, aren't you?" The man decided to ask me randomly, but that's no surprise. Wrestlers would know other wrestlers, but I feel bad because I have no idea who this fellow is. I haven't done a lot of research into ROH. I simply nodded my head. "You are as gorgeous in person as you are on TV."

Wait a second, is he already flirting with me? No, it could be an honest compliment, not every man is a horndog. I noticed him giving me a small smile but the hotness of my cheeks gave it away. I was blushing because of something so simple. Shit. "Aw thank you, since you know who I am, what do I call you, stranger?" I decided to ask as I took a sip of my water.

"The name is Mike Bennett."

"Well Mr. Bennett, how long have you been working for Ring of Honor?" Wait a second, why did I phrase it like that? Whatever, he seems pretty nice.

"A little over three years or so, a question for is, what are you doing at a little appearance like this? I thought you were signed with Impact Wrestling." This appearance was really spur of the moment, I need to find my own path, decide what I want for myself. I originally thought that TNA would be where I needed to be but then all that bullshit happened. As much as I wanted to stay down my girlfriend's side, I am mad at her and need some space. Whenever the time comes, I will finally sit down and talk to her. I wanted to get away from Orlando anyway. I wonder where I am suppose to go, my passion is this business so I will find something.

"It wasn't home to me so now, I am on a little adventure to see what's out there for me." I kept my answer vague because I don't need to talk about all that right now, I refuse to ruin my makeup.

"Anything interesting so far?" There was that flirty tone I was expecting to hear but it was very playful in nature. I am going to humor it.

"Are you expecting me to say you or something?"

"Wait.. n-no.. I uh.." Okay not going to lie, that was adorable. I couldn't help but laugh as he slightly pouted at me. I almost forgot what it felt like to laugh like this, I didn't have to force any emotion. I felt ...safe.. He didn't say anything for a minute then decided to speak up again. "Well Maria, a lot of us are going to go out to eat after we are done here. Do you wanna hang out with us after the show?" Bennett asked but what got me to chuckle was that he was awkwardly rubbing the back of his head, like he was nervous to ask.

"Sure, sounds like fun." Mike seemed surprised by my response and gave me a gorgeous smile back. A night out with some potential new friends is exactly what I need, hopefully I can clear my head. Part of me can't help but think about Daisy, I wonder if she's holding up okay.. No matter what, you can't fall back to her..
