Chapter 11: Prelude- Lonely Sapphire?

When we were reached outside of Lastation, IF finally let go of me.

"Iffy, why did you do that?" I asked her while glaring at her.

"It was too dangerous for us…" IF answered. "There was no way for us to beat that guy…"

"But… Miss Kei… we shouldn't have left her…" I muttered angrily.

"I know… but…" IF suddenly stopped herself right there.

"But what?!" I yelled at her, being really impatient.

"I want to save her too but where we are right now; we still can't beat him." IF tried to explain herself. "Right now, our best bet is to get the other CPUs to help us."

"Oh yeah…" I muttered to myself trying to calm down. "But what if the CPUs are mean or even cruel?"

IF shook her head in disagreement. "I doubt that will be true…"

"Well Listoria is nice…" I muttered to myself before I realized something. "Speaking of Listoria, where is she?"

"Huh?" IF looked around the area. "Oh yeah, what happened to her?"

Then Compa approached us with a worried look on her face. "Do think she—?"

"No! There's no way she—!" I yelled at her before stopping.

"Move move move move move move!"

"Huh? Is that Listoria's voice?" IF started to look around. "I don't see her anywhere…"

"Move move move move move move! I'm gonna crash!"

"Wait, where have I felt this before?" I said thoughtfully before remembering what it was. "That's right! That's when—!"

Then Listoria landed on me again for the second time…

"Ow ow ow ow!" Listoria muttered. "Oh hey, IF! Compa! How have you been?"

"I'm doing fine right now…" IF said but I heard a snicker under her breath.

"But…um… Listoria?" Compa looked confused before pointed at me. "You just landed on Sap-Sap…"

"Oh oh ooh… Sorry!" She said, quickly getting off of me and offering her hand.

"Why does this happen to me?" I muttered, taking her hand as I got up.

IF cross her arms, trying to look serious. "Listoria, why are you here?"

She smiled widely as she put her hand behind her back. "Oh, I'm here to join your team!"

This took us a second to process the information.

"Whaaaaaaat?!"

Plutia slowly woke up and looked towards us, confused. "Why are you yelling so loud?"

"Oh… Sorry Plutia…" I quickly apologized to her to which she just went back to sleep.

She just woke up… just to sleep?!

"But why… Doesn't your nation need you?" IF questioned her.

"Yeah… I know…" Listoria muttered. "But I can't stay there when there's a strong, gigantic robot in there! Plus, I can't risk my people getting hurt because of me!"

"I see…" IF then put her arms down. "But why us?"

"Well…" Listoria was in thought for a moment. "Because Kei told me to follow you guys."

My eyes widen in shock and surprise. "Miss Kei did?!"

Listoria nodded, then smiling for a moment. "Yeah! I also need to make sure that you're not too lonely, Sapphire!"

"Wait…" This caught me off guard. "What do you mean?! I'm not lonely?! I have friends?!"

"Oh this thing again… You're still the same without memories…" Listoria said really sarcastically before turning to Campa. "Hey Compa, where are we going?"

"To my apartment!" Compa then picked up Plutia and looked back at me. "Don't worry about being lonely, Sap-Sap. You have us!"

"W-Wait, hold on…!" I stammered while Compa then started to walk away from me while talking to Listoria.

IF then walked passed me. "Yeah, Saps… You have us now…"

I let cry of frustration as I chased after my friends. "Damn you, Listoria! Stop spreading rumors about meeeee!"

Now it's time for NEPSTATION!
