I do apologising for rushing the story a bit but I do think it is for the best so this chapter has jumped another month just to keep the story.

**Recap**

Tori and Jade are together, Beth sees that Jade truly loves Tori and decides to leave them. Max has gone back to New York and went through a few changes, the ultimate "break up" thing to do.

Beth POV

It has been one month since me, Max, Tori and Jade sang to two men about taking a hint. I haven't spoken to Jade since, she just kept walking away from me, it was like we were back to when I first started at the school.

I also had to wait one month for a big performance was due to happen at the school. Nothing big, just a Christmas Talent Show. I don't know why they need a talent show, this is a talent school.

I put my books in my locker, looking in the mirror I have hanging up, reapplying my lipstick, when I hear someone behind me. I turn and see my favourite red head.

"Oh lookie here, everyone, the one person who was by my side but left me when things went south." I said, talking in a southern bell accent.

Cat laughed, "You and Jade do the same thing. Wait, no, that's not why I wanted to talk to you."

I glare at her and cross my arms. "Well? Spit it out, Kitty."

"There is something going on in the group. It started when Jade told us we couldn't talk to you." Cat started explaining.

"Wait," I interrupted, "You all listened to Jade, when she told you, you couldn't talk to me?"

The redhead pouted, "She's really scary, Beth."

"Jesus, she is literally a kitten, I don't see why you are all afraid of her." I huff, seriously not liking that they all listened to Jade.

"Beth, she poured coffee over Tori, she chased me everywhere when I messed up her eyebrows, trying to kill me, she used to terrorise Tori everyday." Cat stated.

"Well, Tori is a sucker for punishment, isn't she?"

"Jade is" Cat took hold onto my arm, pulling me closer to her and whispered the rest in my ear.

I step back, looking at the red head shocked, "No, that can't be, she told me she wouldn't do it again." I shook my head and pushed past Cat to walk over to Jade at her locker.

"Jade," I yelled, "We need to talk."

"Oh, that does not look like a happy face." Jade said, smirking at me.

My eyes widen, she has never been like this with me, "It's because I am not." I state.

I see her smile a little, looking down, "Yay."

I laugh in disbelief, "Okay, you really want to do this, Sugar Tits?" I see Jade's eyes widen, "Hello!" I yell, walking out to the middle of the hallway, "Hi, everyone. I have a few secrets I would like to share about the one an only, Jade West."

Everyone's ears perked up and started to make a circle around me and Jade, all interested in what was going to happen. I look at Jade again, lifting an eyebrow, silently asking if she still wanted to play the bitch on bitch game.

Jade sighed, "Okay, Beth, I'll talk to you."

I grab her hand and pull her into the janitor's closet, and push her against the wall, one hand stay on her shoulder.

"Cat told me something very interesting." I say, pushing the shoulder more.

"Oh, we are believing everything Cat says now are we?" Jade said, rolling her eyes.

"Well one thing first, where did you get the weed?"

Jade looked up innocently and smiling, "I have no idea what you are on about."

"Jade." I said sternly.

She sighed and leant lightly on my hand on her shoulder, "I stole it from Max, when she was down."

"Jade, first I hear about the drugs and now stealing, you told me you would stop." My hand moving down her arm to her hand.

Jade moved away, looking out the window of the door. "For fuck sake, Liz, that was three years ago, a lot of shit happened. You weren't there when I needed you the most, so I don't need you now."

"You think I wanted to be away from you for those three years, Jade? No, I begged my mom and dad to move where you were going but no one would tell me where you had gone. Then my mom and dad made me go live with my aunt and uncle, in Ohio, while they were living their life up here with my sister. I know you have been through things, Jade, but so have I, don't ever say that I wanted to be apart from you, because, new flash darling, I didn't." My chest was heaving with emotion, I took one look at Jade and moved her out the way of the door, so I could leave, my hand on the doorknob.

"It's fake." Jade suddenly said, I turned, eyebrow raised, "The relationship, it's fake. I couldn't stand the fact that you humiliated me in front of my mother, so I ask Tori to fake date me."

I look to the floor, "I am sorry I did that to you, Jade, I think we both got caught up in seeing each other again that we forgot that we both had changed in the three years we weren't together. When your mom welcomed me to the family, I lost it, I hate to say this but I wasn't ready for a relationship."

"Do yo-," Jade started, "Do you want to get to know me? Do you want to be with me?"

"I think we need to be friends before anything else. Like we said, It's been three years." I answer, smiling slightly.

"I mean, I don't love the fact I can't kiss you, but I guess I can live with being your friend." Jade said, smiling back at me, "For now, anyway."

I laugh, heartily, "Come on you, we got to get to class. The big bash is tonight and then hopefully that'll be me and this school, over and done with." I wrap my around around her shoulders, escorting her out of the janitors closet.

"Wow, I am guessing you got all your work done."

"Yep." I answer, popping the 'p'. "It was hard though when someone took away the friends that I had and I then had to go to Sinjin." I pouted, majorly, until I saw a quiver under Jade's 'I hate everyone' mask.

"I'm sorry, Lizzie, I guess I was really mad at you." She looked at me, raising her eyebrows, slight smile on her face.

I laugh and push her into Skiowitz's classroom, "No shit, girl, I had to hang out with Max."

Okay, the girls have made up, I know the chapter kind of ran away from me but! Next is the big bash, what is Beth going to sing now that she said that her and Jade should just be friends? Well, I guess we will just have to wait and find out.
