I've had some motivation lately to write soooo I have another one :) Hope you enjoy and I appreciate your reviews so much!
(Bo)
He was standing in the kitchen about to dig into those leftovers when Vincent kicked the door open with a thunderous boom so loud it shook the windows! His heart leapt into his throat.
Bo rounded the corner seeing a limp Ginger being placed on the couch. He hurried forward while Lester scrammed to find the first aid. It was like this girl ran around looking for trouble.
"Jesus, look at her face and shirt." Her nose was starting to slightly swell and she had blood all down her face and front. Someone had popped her a good one in the nose..was Vincent getting rough with her now?
"What the fuck did you do?" He growled up at him. Vince continued probing her head with his fingertips..then he slowly stood to his full height.
Vincent was tall and built..he towered over all of them and his long hair and creepy as fuck mask made him look straight out of a nightmare. He had been growing bolder and more aggressive than he usually was and Bo knew it would become a problem one day. Lester came bounding back just in time to see them sizing each other up.
"Are you suggesting that I did this to her?" Vincent growled dangerously and he watched both of his brothers look at him silently..so Lester had been thinking the same.
"No! I did not! The man who hit her is outside. I snapped his leg and drug him along until I couldn't take his screams. Then I brought Marly. She's going to be fine. Lester get her an ice pack." Vincent growled and left the room himself ,momentarily returning with a wet cloth and new clothes. The ice pack was set firmly on her head.
"Leave so I can change her." They both left outside on the porch.
They both stood there a few silent minutes.
"You thought he had hit her didn't you?" Bo asked Lester.
"Yes. Now let's go see if we can find this man who really hit Marly." Lester grunted.
"If there is a man." Bo dared to breathe into the night air.
The screen door suddenly squeaked open and Vincent thumped down the stairs wordlessly in his heavy boots with his machete clutched in his hand. He was halfway down the driveway when Lester turned to Bo.
"Stay with Marly..I'll go see if I can calm him down." Bo nodded his head in response and watched them until they were out of sight.
He stayed out there for a little while wondering about a lot of things. Carly. Himself. The town. When he decided he had waited for them to come back long enough he went back inside to find an empty couch. He shook his head. This girl never stopped did she?
(Marly)
Cold..it was so cold. I woke with perfect clarity and winced at my tender skull. There was an ice pack set up to rest against my head..must have been what woke me. I was on the couch in the empty living room. I listened for any steps or sounds but there were none. I somehow stood on shaky legs and through my pounding headache I realized my nose was aching too. Oh yeah, I thought as I flipped on the bathroom light, I was punched in the nose..and then my heart skipped a beat. That boy! Had they killed him already?
I swayed through the nausea and guilt and caught myself against the counter. One glance in the mirror told me someone had cleaned my face and changed my clothes.
"There you are." It was Bo. His hand found the small of my back and it was warm and comforting. I turned to look into his eyes and I suddenly saw him and myself sitting at the kitchen table him getting up and giving me a 'no nightmare pill'. I remembered them saving me from those drunk college bastards..
I remembered all the hot sex Vincent and I had in our room, the shower, in the House of Wax..even out in the woods. I cooked for them and I could see clear as day the actual excitement in each of their faces for what I had decided to make that night. They looked at me with care, adoration and love..so what was I supposed to do about all the killing?
I focused back on Bo.
"How are you feeling?" He asked. "You should sit while I find Vince." He made to sit me down on the toilet seat but a sudden memory had me gripping his arm. Hard. Tears ran down my face.
"I found you in the woods that night..the night we all thought you would die." It came out as a whisper but Bo's look of surprise said he still heard.
"But that was before..," He trailed off and suddenly Vincent was there behind him. I sat on the closed toilet lid and Bo put his hands up as if to say 'I didn't do it'. He shuffled out past Vincent who looked like a dark mountain in comparison to us all. The masked man watched his brother leave before turning his attention to me.
"Thanks for cleaning me up. What's the verdict?" I asked wiping the tears on my face away.
"You will live." Came his gruff reply and his voice sent shivers down my spine. "Would you like to bathe now?" He asked not giving me time to answer before starting the water.
I touched his shoulder and he turned to look up at me.
"Did you kill that boy?"
"He hurt you." Had he forgotten how I had gotten knocked down in the first place?
"So did you." I took a deep breath and hurried out of the bathroom and down the stairs to the phone on the wall. I took it off the receiver but of course there was no dial tone. Would the gas station have a working phone? The water shut off upstairs and Vincent's boots came thumping down. He watched me put it back, defeated.
"What are you doing?" His voice had hardened..became defensive.
"I just want my parents to know I'm okay. They can't lose me twice. According to them I'll be taking an extended vacation by myself so no one will look for me." It made sense in my head.
"If you call anyone..they will look for you. They can trace calls, Marly. Is that what you want? To leave?" His voice grew harder..scarier.
"No.. I just want to talk..even if I did leave I would come back." I said and it was the truth.
Suddenly the front door was opened again. Lester and Bo came through and I knew this was my opportunity to find a phone and at least tell my parents I was okay.
I gathered my nerve and dashed past them, leaping off the porch steps. My ankle landed a little funny but after a few wobbly steps I was running down the road. I didn't think I would get away..that wasn't my goal. I just needed to call for now and extend my time before they started to worry. I would figure out how to make my life work on both sides. I had to.
Running steps behind me told me they had taken chase. I couldn't stay on the road..so I veered right into the woods and crouched low in a thick bush. I saw Lester take the woods behind the gas station leaving Vincent and Bo standing in the middle of the street looking around.
"She's not trying to leave, Vince. We'll find her." Bo said while he caught his breath.
"She's different. Not the same as before." His gruff voice still slid a seductive shiver down my spine.
"Alright..you go to the old campsite..she knows how to get there. Maybe y'all can fuck in the moonlight and make up or whatever the fuck people in love do."
Vincent sighed, not at all amused with Bo's jokes but began in that direction. Once his footsteps faded Bo looked right at the bush. My heart leapt with sudden anxiety.
"What's the end game, Ginger?"
Should I move or stay? Suddenly he took something out of his pocket. The screen lit up.
"This is what you want right? Not to call the police I hope. They would kill me and my brothers..maybe burn our little town to the ground. You want that?"
I stood and crept around the bush so he could fully see me.
"There she is." He half smiled at me and my heart leapt again..he looked like a different version of Vincent smiling in the dark.
"Of course I don't want that." Bo cocked his head to the side waiting for me to continue.
"I just want to call my mom..so she doesn't think she lost me twice." Bo looked me up and down as though deciding if I were telling the truth or not. His eyes swept the treeline making sure we were alone.
"Did Vincent hurt you? Is that why you want to call?" He looked at me so seriously.
I shook my head. "No. It's all about my mom."
He handed me the phone.
"Don't make me regret this, Ginger."
(Bo)
She hit the end button after her call.
"Everything's ok. No one is going to be looking for me and I told her everyone else went their separate ways. She believed me."
He tucked the phone back in his pocket.
"Come on. Let's get back to the house."
Bo walked her all the way up the stairs to hers and Vincent's room. He watched her slide into the covers and close her eyes before he shut the door.
Back out on the porch Bo could see Lester and Vincent finally coming back up the driveway.
"She's in your bed." Bo told him and Vince immediately went in. Lester looked at Bo.
"Things feel different this time around."
No shit..he thought.
"Y'all find him?"
"Yes. He's in the sewing store on the row in town. Vince snapped his leg and he's barely conscious from the beating he took. Not sure if he'll last long enough to be a problem."
(Vincent)
His heart was pounding and he felt a variety of emotions at once. Relief, fear, anger. Vincent opened the door and Marly was lightly snoring already. She looked so beautiful and peaceful. She was in his bed and that dissolved his anger quickly. Things were different this time around and he would need to take better precautions than last time. Vincent kicked off his boots and removed his shirt before climbing into bed next to her. She smelled like the Marly he remembered but she wasn't quite her.. deep down.
Her eyes opened a bit and found him already staring.
"I'm sorry. I don't want to worry you but I can't just leave my mom again..not after last time. Not after you took my brother from me." He didn't know where these things were coming from..she had no unresolved emotions last time.
Vincent reached out and softly caressed her hair. He had no intentions of letting her go anywhere..even if he had to take a leaf out of Bo's book to do it.

The old sewing machines and supplies were covered with dust when Bo stepped inside the store and locked the door behind him. He didn't hear any screaming yet. Making his way to the back room he turned on the light and closed that door too.
He was laying on his stomach sprawled out still unconscious. His leg had been put in an awkward sort of cast and he figured Lester had tried to help him. Vince's would have been close to professional. Bo walked around to see his face in the flickering lights and even through the bruises and swelling Bo recognized him..what was his name?
He had snatched money from Lauren so long ago outside her apartment..how had he ended up here? Suddenly the boy opened his eyes and focused on Bo.
"You! Where is she? Where is Lauren?" The boy made to grab Bo's collar and tried to pull him down onto his level but Bo stood and stepped on his fingers instead. The boy cried out and jerked his hand away. Bo felt conflicted.. he knew he had to finish the job. There were just too many extra people here for his comfort. Their town was all about secrecy..not a bed and breakfast.
"I loved her just as much as you did." Bo growled and picked up the hammer one of his brothers had left on the side table. It was always all about finishing the job and Bo had always had the stomach for it.
He raised the hammer and..
"No!" The boy yelled but it was too late Bo had already connected a blow to his temple and another and another..until the blood sprayed himself and the walls..until the light left his eyes. Only after Bo had dropped the hammer did he remember the boy's name was Ethan.
Bo walked back up the road to the house. The sky was starting to lighten..what a long night. He would clean up the mess later first he wanted a hot shower. He stepped up onto the front porch just as the front door swung open and Lester stood there looking him up and down.
"I'll go clean it up..nothing else to do." Lester drawled and brushed past him. Bo didn't say a word..just headed upstairs and showered. He was walking back downstairs with a towel held around his waist rummaging in the fridge for a drink when he heard the creak of the stairs.
He glanced around the door to see Marly cautiously watching him in the early dawn light.
"Running away again?" He smirked in her direction. She shook her head and then he realized what she was staring at..him. He watched her eyes rake over his bare torso and lower before settling...on his wrists. He felt the familiar rage rise at being stared at but he held it back. He knew she didn't mean anything by it.
"Want a closer look?" He expected her to turn tail and run back into his brothers arms but she came closer. He held out a wrist and she gently took it in her slender fingers. Bo's wrist suddenly felt on fire where her fingertips touched.
"What happened?" Her small voice asked.
"Story for another time." He muttered while glancing at the deep scratches in the kitchen floor. He handed her a soda and she took it careful not to touch him again. She was Vincent's. So why was he still thinking of what she looked like under those pajamas?
"Now get. Your future husband is up there..and he loves you." He gave her back a little push towards the stairs.
"A little too much maybe." He thought he heard her mumble on her way up. He watched her backside as she went..damn he wished Vince would share. Not a chance.
Bo dressed and then gathered up breakfast for Carly and himself.
(Marly)
I slid back into the room and my eyes fell to Vincent who was sprawled on his back with his mask off. His breathing was deep and even and his hand was still outstretched where it had rested on my side. I did love him..God just sitting here looking at him made my heart swell with emotion. He was quick to say I had changed but I think he had changed, too. I clicked on the bedside lamp and the room was bathed in an orange glow. It was enough to wake him. He jerked and reached for my empty spot before seeing me standing there.
"Marly? Are you sick?" He thought I was up sick? He really did know me..sometimes my nerves got the best of me and affected my stomach. He was looking at me with such concern and adoration. I shook my head.
"No, I'm not sick." I suddenly lifted my shirt over my head and Vince took in an eyeful of my chest before looking at my face again.
"Have you decided to stop running from me? From us? We can be happy here." He sat up and offered his hand to me and I took it.
"I'm not running from you..I'd always come back." He grunted in disapproval but our lips touched and his large hand tangled it's way into my hair. I winced at the new tender spot and he sighed, flipping me onto my back and ran his hand down my jaw..throat..down my chest between my breasts and to my stomach where he seductively moved lower and tightened his hold on my..
"Yesss." I hissed and his hand slipped down under my pajama shorts.
"I love you, Marly. I love you more than my own life." I believed it.
"I love you too, Vince." I gasped during my first orgasm of the morning.
