Gensokyo Star 3 - The Top of Youkai Mountain - Everyone

"Whoa… that's a bigger mountain than I thought." Daisy said.

"We have to climb that?" Nora asked.

"Yup." Reimu nodded. "We just gotta wait for the others."

"Sooooo… what can you do?" Nora asked Reisen.

"What can I do? Oh, basically I can manipulate wavelengths around me. I can sense and manipulate all kinds of wavelengths. Light, sound, brainwaves-"

"Brainwaves?" Jaune asked, suddenly looking a bit nervous.

"Oh yeah, by making eye contact with someone, I can either induce madness or give them hallucinations."

"Oh wow!" Nora said.

"Let's not test that out." Ren said. "The last thing we need is an even crazier Nora."

"Oh, relax… I'm not that crazy."

"You fired a grenade at a phoenix!" Daisy pointed out. "An immortal one at that!"

"She was fine!" Nora said as Daisy rolled her eyes.

"I don't think it'll affect me." Penny said. "I'm a robot, I don't think the madness will work."

"Oh?" Reisen looked at her curiously. "Well, let's try it out then." She said as the two of them made eye contact… right as Gloria woke up.

"Uuugh…" Gloria rubbed her head.

"Oh hey, you're up." Reimu said as she put her down.

"Remind me to slap Nora later." Gloria said and then saw what Reisen and Penny were doing. "What's with the staring contest?"

"Apparently Reisen can make people go crazy just by manipulating their brainwaves." Pyrrha said.

Gloria blinked a few times. "…What."

"Anything?" Reisen asked.

"Nope!" Penny smiled. "I'm still sane!"

"Incredible…" Reisen mused.

"Anything else that you can do?" Pyrrha asked.

"I can do this!" Reisen turned her hand into a finger gun and then fired a small laser blast from it.

"Whoa!" Daisy exclaimed.

"Coooool!" Nora said as Reisen put her finger to her lips and blew out some smoke.

"Yeah, that's usually my thing." Reisen giggled. "Hmm… how long does it take to get Alice?"

"I'm not sure." Reimu said.

"WAAAAAAAAAH!" A voice screamed as Sakuya landed on her feet while Komachi faceplanted.

"I retrieved Komachi." Sakuya said.

"Uuuugh…" Komachi got back up. "Did you have to do that when I was taking a well deserved nap?" She grumbled. "So, who are these guys? I take it they're not from Gensokyo?"

One explanation later…

"Well then, hope you're enjoying the sights and the insanity for you non-natives." Komachi chuckled. "It's never really a dull moment here."

"Yeah, we noticed." Daisy said where Reimu noticed Penny was looking at something.

"Penny, what are you looking at?"

Penny kept staring at nothing. "I can see you. You're hiding underneath that cloak."

"Wha?!" A voice yelled in surprise as a girl emerged from the cloak. "How were you able to detect me that fast?"

"Whoa! You were able to detect Nitori just like that?" Reimu said as Nitori walked over to them.

"Geez… there's no way anyone could see me through my invisibility cloak. What kind of ability do you have? Do you have an ability where you can see through invisible obje-" Nitori touched Penny's hand, causing her to gasp. "Metal? Wait a minute… you're a robot?!"

"You were able to figure that out so quickly?" Penny asked.

"That makes so much sense!" Nitori said as she suddenly pulled a wrench. "I gotta know what makes you tick!"

Penny's eyes widened. "What?!"

BGM: Funny Goings-on (Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam)

"Don't mind me, I'm an engineer! I can easily build things, so if I can reverse engineer you, I can easily see what goes on in that body of yours!"

"Oh no no no no no, this is Futaba all over again!" Penny said, backing away. "Plus I was already rebuilt and remodeled after facing those Jambastion guys!"

"Come on, don't be shy~!" Nitori smiled, but then Reimu pulled her back.

"Down girl. She doesn't want any of that."

"Aww…" Nitori pouted. "Oh well, I also overheard what you guys told Komachi so I'm gonna be sticking with ya too." She said.

"Sweet!" Nora smiled.

"You okay lass?" Gloria asked Penny.

"…She scares me."

Reisen snickered. "She means well."

Reisen's ear then twitched as she turned to see Marisa's group approaching them. "Ah, there they are." She said.

"Heya! Do you have the Ztar?" Marisa asked.

"Yup!" Reimu said, holding it up. "We had to take it off of Kaguya's hands."

"Ooooh… I bet that wasn't easy." Marisa said. "Let me guess, she had to make you do some impossible task?"

"She wanted Mokou off her back so she basically manipulated them to get them to take her out, then get the Ztar."

Marisa winced. "How did that go?"

"Poorly." Jaune sighed. "Though when she found out Kaguya sent us, she took matters into her own hands."

"Yeah, I figured as much." Marisa said. "The way how manipulative she can be, I'm surprised Kaguya still has friends…"

"So… we have to climb this mountain?" Ruby asked, looking at the massive mountain before her.

"Yup, it's gonna be a heck of a climb." Reimu said.

"My knees are aching just looking at this…" Pit sweatdropped.

"Oh, what are y'all complaining about?" A voice asked as they turned to see Dedede approaching them, and joining him were Kirby, Meta Knight, Bandana Dee, Magolor and Marx. "Y'all have gone up mountains before, what are you so worried about?"

"I mean, he's got a point." Blake said.

"Oh, you decided to call our neighbors up, huh?" Reimu asked.

"Yeah, I figured since we're going to be facing Tenshi, we would need all the help we can get." Alice said. "Unfortunately, the others were busy."

"Hiiii!" Kirby waved and then took a good look at Rosalina. "Poyo Poyo…?"

"Oh, hello there little one." Rosalina smiled.

"Wait, she was with you guys, right? How come you didn't greet each other there?" Jaune asked.

"Ah, they were in the back and Rosalina was up front." Marisa shrugged.

"Rosalina?!" Dedede said in surprise. "You mean the Rosalina that Master Hand was talking about?!" He jawdropped before letting out a laugh. "I knew she was real!"

"You were the first to dismiss her as being a myth." Meta Knight told him.

"Did not!"

"Oi…" Meta Knight shook his head. "Let's go."

"Right, let's climb this mountain!" Yang said as they started to run.

"Uh… guys?" Nitori said, making them all stop and looked at her. "Why don't we just take the ski lift?" She said, pointing to the ski lift behind her.

"…How did we not notice that?" Daisy sweatdropped.

"When was that a thing?" Koakuma wondered.

"Oh, we installed a ski lift so everyone can get to the Moriya Shrine faster." Nitori said. "It works like a charm too!"

"Rrrrgh… Kanakoooo!" Reimu clenched her fists. "Stealing my shrine goers all because of convenience… I'm gonna wipe that smug look off her face!"

"Shotgun!" Caboose said as he ran off.

"Caboose, you can't call shotgun on a ski lift!" Church said as he went after him, where everyone else would go on the ski lift.

"Hmm… boys!" Sarge said, stopping Grif and Simmons as they turned to look at him.

"What is it?" Simmons asked.

"How about instead of the Ski Lift, we go a different way?" Sarge asked.

"Oh no… we're not walking, are we?" Grif groaned.

"Heh, who said anything about walking? Now then… where's that Yukari woman? I'd like to ask a favor."

Meanwhile, at the top of Youkai Mountain…

"Ohohoho man!" Pit said as he hopped off. "We could've used this at the Lightning Chariot Base!"

"Oh geez, my ankles are aching just remembering that…" Weiss groaned.

"Man, it's pretty up here." Luigi said.

"Yeah, it's great!" Daisy said.

"Mmmph…" Reimu grumbled.

"Easy there." Sakuya said, putting her hand on her shoulder.

"And just what do you think you're doing here?" A voice asked as they saw Kanako approaching them. "Trying to get back at us from the believers you lost, Reimu?" She said as they would notice her eyes would look different.

"No, we're just saving Gensokyo from the Ztars… and you happen to have one of them in your possession."

"Ztars, huh? You mean this?" Kanako pulled out the Ztar in her hands. "It is quite lovely if I say so myself. It's fascinating how a star like this can be so black… just think, with this, we can attract quite the crowd!"

"Hmph! Of course you would say that." Reimu said.

"It's amusing that you brought such a crowd here, even if they're outsiders." Kanako said. "You think you can win, Reimu? You and your army?"

"Oh, you bet!" Reimu said. "This is personal!"

"Heh…" Kanako whistled as Sanae and Suwako landed near her, both of them having different colored eyes. "Now it's a more even fight." She said as everyone readied their weapons. "Now then, let's begin!"

"Um… Lady Kanako? What's that music?" Sanae wondered.

"Hmm?" Kanako wondered.

"It's getting louder." Suwako said as they turned to the stairs of the shrine… when suddenly a Warthog leapt through the air.

BGM: Warthog Song (Red vs Blue)

"YEEHAAAAAW!" Sarge yelled as the Warthog started falling… directly toward Kanako.

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF…?!" Kanako yelled in shock as Sanae and Suwako dove for cover right as the Warthog landed right on top of Kanako.

"Oooooh!" Everyone winced, but Reimu immediately started snickering.

"Sup?" Grif nonchalantly said as he turned off the radio.

"Why go on a ski lift when we can come up the mountain in style?" Sarge said. "…Grif, I think you hit a speed bump though, not to mention overshot the parking spot."

"Oooogh…"

"Here, let me back up." Grif said as he tried to back up, and rolled over Kanako again.

BGM: Funny Goings-On

"OOOOF!"

"Shoot, I overshot it again!" Grif said as he went forward and ran over Kanako.

"GAAAAH!"

"Oops."

"Hang on, let me help." Simmons said as he hopped out. "Okay, back it up a bit!"

"AAAAGH!"

"Too far! Too far!"

Grif moved forward. "How's this?"

"You have a lead foot. Do it gently." Sarge said as Grif backed up slowly until he stopped. "Perfect!"

"Oooogh…" Kanako groaned.

"Sooo, what'd we miss?" Sarge asked as Reimu had fell on the floor and laughing hysterically.

"Oh, that was priceless! That was too good! Hahahaha! I can't breathe!"

"Um… nothing, really." Washington said as Kirby walked over and pulled Kanako out, as there were tire marks all over her body and swirly eyes.

"Poyo poyo?" Kirby wondered, as Suwako knelt down and poked Kanako with a stick.

"Oh goodness… what happened?" Sanae asked, rubbing her head.

"Interesting… those two seem to be back to normal without a fight." Rosalina mused.

"Ooooh, that was awesome." Reimu giggled as she stood up and wiped a tear from her eye as she approached Kanako and took the Ztar from her, then tossed it to Rosalina.

"You're looking chipper already." Marisa said.

"Of course! That was well deserved… especially when that one time she was responsible for tricking Utsuho into almost turning Gensokyo into a nuclear winter. Of course I'd be happy with that!"

"What's going on?" Sanae asked. "What's with the black star?"

"You were possessed by it." Rosalina said and explained the situation.

"Oh my!" Sanae gasped. "I'll go with you."

"Then let's go. We got no time to lose." Reimu said. "Our last spot is in Heaven."

"Then let's do this." Dark Xena smirked as they took off.

Meanwhile…

Gensokyo Star 6 - Up Into The Heavens

"So bored…" Tenshi said, sitting on a keystone and looking down at Gensokyo. "I think I'll cause a little bit of mayhem." She said and looked at the Ztar next to her. "What do you think I should do?" She asked as the Ztar said nothing. "Oh? Oh yes, that should definitely work!" She giggled.

"Tenshi!" A voice said as Tenshi turned to see the group.

"My my, this is an absurdly large group. What's the occasion?" Tenshi asked.

"We're here for that Star!" Ruby said, pointing to the Ztar.

"Oh this black thing? Now why would I want to do that?" Tenshi giggled. "This little guy is my companion. And both of us agree that we oughta destroy Gensokyo for fun and then head on over to that big Star in the sky."

"…That thing can talk?!" Jaune yelled.

"No, they don't." Rosalina responded.

"How bored do you have to be in order to talk to a dang Ztar?!" Weiss said.

"She's always bored… for better or worse." Marisa said. "But seriously, destroy Gensokyo? Woman, you already tried that by having the weather be all wild over all of us individually! You thinking of trying that again?"

"Why not? Might throw in a few earthquakes and meteors for fun while I'm at it~" Tenshi giggled. "Hmm, what's that?" She turned to the Ztar. "Ah, okay… I should destroy them? I was thinking the same thing~"

"Were these… Ztars making us talk like this? I feel violated." Remilia shuddered.

"Well, it's a good thing you called us up because we wouldn't have taken this lightly." Dedede said, readying his hammer.

"Alright, you guys ready?" Mario asked.

"Oh, we're ready." Ruby said.

"Mhmhmhmhm~ All of you are so adorable into thinking you can take me out. I'm not afraid, especially that Shinigami right there~" Tenshi said, referring to Komachi.

"Oh, you should be." Komachi said, readying her scythe.

Tenshi chuckled. "We'll see who you should be truly afraid of." She said, readying her sword.

Insanely Bored Celestial - Tenshi Hinanawi

Tenshi summoned a massive keystone and threw it at the large group, forcing them to separate as Ruby, Qrow, Summer and Komachi ran over to her as Tenshi fired lasers at them. Komachi would block with her scythe as Ruby and Qrow would get on both sides of Tenshi as they would slash at her, but she summoned rock shields to block them, as she would also throw keystones at Summer, but she would jump on these keystones to give herself a boost and then leapt over Tenshi as she then landed behind her and slashed at her, only for Tenshi to block the attack with her sword. She would then glance over at Komachi as she slashed at her, but Tenshi ducked down so Komachi would hit Summer instead. Summer let out a gasp and then jumped back as Komachi let out a sigh of relief, then got pelted by a keystone.

Tenshi then smirked as she stabbed the ground to create an earthquake, disrupting the Blood Gulch Crew, Carolina and Washington as she then rushed at Weiss, as she had Eiskönigin out and clashed with Tenshi, both of them swinging their blades and clashing with each other as Tenshi jumped back and fired a laser at Weiss, but she stabbed the ground to create a reflective ice wall that would bounce the lasers back and hit her, but Tenshi didn't seem to care as she saw Youmu coming over with Meta Knight as they both slashed at her, but Tenshi blocked these attacks as Meta Knight used a Drill Rush attack, hitting Tenshi and knocked her away as Youmu flew over and slashed through her.

"Have some of this!" Tenshi said, lifting up Keystones and launching them, but Rosalina and Dark Xena would both use their telekinesis to toss them to the side as Flandre and Magolor flew over and slashed her, but would be met with Tenshi's sword. Flandre clenched her fist and punched her in the gut to send her careening into the ground, but she recovered and slid on the ground, then barely dodged Magolor's Ultra Sword and Bandana Dee's Spears. She then noticed Ruby and Qrow rushing at her and slashing her, but Tenshi would jump in the air and conjured up more Keystones, but a Gungnir would pierce through her gut and then knives impaled her right after, then was pelted by Nyx's arrows.

"Hah!" Sanae yelled, unleashing Moses's Miracle as Nitori would help manipulate the water and slammed into Tenshi. Nora and Luigi would both hit the water with electricity to electrify Tenshi before she got pelted by fireballs from Patchouli. Daisy clapped her hands as crystal platforms rose from the ground as Mario, Travis and Gloria would jump on the platforms as they swung their weapons down on Tenshi as the latter grabbed Mario and blocked Travis and Gloria's weapons, as Mario smirked and fire punched her in the gut to make her hunch over where Mario then hammered her to the ground where Jaune, Pyrrha and Iris were waiting for her and slashed her, then Jade pelted her with fire.

Gloria ran over to Tenshi and swung her pipe, but Tenshi blocked this and laughed. "A metal pipe? Surely, you can do better!"

"That's not what you should be worrying about!" Gloria said, kicking her in the knee and then headbutted her for good measure, then she swung her pipe to knock her to the ground as Pit came running in and swung his Upperdash Arm to knock her up in the air, then Pit got on his knees for Blake as she used his back as a springboard and then jumped up, slashing through her with her Belladonna Claws, then was pelted by a few laser bullets from Reisen. Dedede would then rush over and swung his hammer right as Tenshi got up and was knocked high into the air, then Alice manipulated her dolls to wrap around Tenshi to hold her in place, then the dolls turned to her and fired point blank lasers. Yang would then grab Tenshi by the shoulder and then threw her to Ruby and Qrow while the three fired danmaku at her for good measure after Ruby and Qrow slashed through her.

"Nnngh… man, I haven't had this much fun in a while… heheheh…" Tenshi smirked as she slowly rose up from the ground and then aimed her hand at them.

"Oh please tell me she's not doing what I think she's gonna do!" Marisa groaned.

"Take THIS!" She yelled, firing massive lasers at them as Marisa got in position and fired a Master Spark, both of them clashing as they struggled, but Tenshi would slowly overpower Marisa.

"Rrgh… little help here!" Marisa requested as Penny flew over and fired lasers to help counteract it, as Marx flew over and helped out by firing his own laser with Alice chipping in as well with her dolls firing the lasers.

"Your lasers are ineffective!" Tenshi smirked, upping the power as she used her other hand to keep Komachi at bay.

"Agh!" Komachi yelped, as she kept getting pelted by the lasers.

"Alright… she asked for it." Ruby said, getting on one knee and aiming her Sniper Rifle at Tenshi, which the latter noticing this

"Oh please, like your danmaku can-"

"LASER!"

A bright blue laser struck through Tenshi, a surprised look plastered on her face as Marisa and her group overpowered her lasers and engulfed Tenshi. "YAAAAAAAAAAGH!" She screamed, giving Komachi enough time to rush at her.

"Scythe of Final Judgement!" She yelled, slamming her scythe into the ground below Tenshi as a massive projectile slammed into her from above as she slowly backed up, wincing as she held on to her arm where she was then hit by a Fantasy Seal from Reimu.

"AAAAAAAGH!" Tenshi screamed as she fell on both knees, but then slowly got up. "Who do you think you are…" Tenshi winced. "I'm a Celestial, and I can easily-" She was interrupted by Mario, Tai, Kirby, Yang, Nora and Dedede all swinging their fists and hammers down as she was sent crashing down back to Gensokyo.

"Sorry, what was that? You didn't finish!" Yang taunted.

Back on the ground…

"AAAAAH!"

THUD!

"OOOF!" Tenshi grunted as she got up, shaking it off. "Ugh… what happened?" She wondered as she looked around. "Why am I in a sunflower field… and why are some of these crumple-" Her eyes immediately widened. "Uh oh…"

"You destroyed my sunflowers…" A voice said as Tenshi turned to see Yuuka approaching her.

"Whoa, hey, Yuuka! I don't know how I got here but… hey, don't give me that look! What are you doing?! Put that umbrella down!" She said in terror.

"I say we have a little chat about garden care." Yuuka said, aiming her umbrella at her.

Back up in Heaven…

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"…She gonna be okay?" Magolor wondered.

"Ah, she'll be fine." Marx said as Rosalina took the last Ztar.

"Alright, we're done here." Rosalina said.

One trip back to the Scarlet Devil Mansion…

"You guys are leavin' already, huh?" Marisa asked.

"Yeah, we are." Mario nodded.

"Ya know, despite the crazy stuff that happened to all of us, I actually had fun here." Ruby said.

"Yeah, it was not too bad." Yang said.

Reimu let out a chuckle. "Well, if you guys ever need something, we'll be here."

"Hey… Xena?" Flandre walked over to Dark Xena. "Or Dark Xena, in this case… are you gonna come back soon?"

Dark Xena let out a chuckle. "Of course, we'll come back." She said. "Heck, we'll even introduce you to Marx which uh… I'm surprised he's not here. Did he already leave?"

"Yeah, he went back to Dreamland." Dedede said. "Got bored after we kicked that girl's butt and left."

"Typical." Dark Xena rolled her eyes.

"Sure, I'd love to meet him!" Flandre smiled as the two of them hugged, then they watched them fly off back to the Observatory.

"Sooooo!" Dedede turned to the group. "How about we get some grub in the Mushroom Kingdom? Dreamland's a shortcut."

"Some grub, you say?" Yuyuko looked intrigued.

"Yeah, there's a Shy Guy Buffet there. All you can eat!"

Yuyuko immediately started drooling. "Yes! Let's go right now!" She said and flew off to Dreamland.

"Hey, wait up!" Youmu said as she chased after them as the others soon followed as Reimu and Marisa were the last ones there.

"You hungry?" Reimu asked.

"Yeah, I can eat." Marisa nodded as they started to walk, when a gap opened up underneath them.

"They helped you out, so why not return the favor?" Yukari said from the other side as she dragged them underneath.

"WHOA!" Both girls yelled.

Back at the Observatory…

BGM: Rosalina in the Observatory 2 (Super Mario Galaxy)

"Hi hi hi everyone!" Ibuki waved.

"Why do you guys look so beat up?" Ilia asked.

"It's a long story." Yang said as Rosalina held some Ztars in a jar.

"I'll be right back. Need to go take these to the Star Shrine." Rosalina said as she then teleported away.

"Well, I guess it's business as usual now." Mario said as everyone nodded.

"So Weiss, tell me what you think." Palutena said, showing off her armor.

"It's cool, but… throw some white- actually, no, throw some silver on it and you're golden." Weiss said, where she immediately heard Yang bust out laughing. "What?"

"You… you…! HAHAHAHA!" Yang fell on her back laughing. "You… you just punned!"

"What are you-" Weiss blushed a deep red. "…Yang! You rubbed off on me!" She yelled as Yang continued to laugh.

"You say that like it's a bad thing!" Yang cackled.

"Oi…" Weiss sighed as Summer put her hand on Weiss' shoulder.

"Don't worry about her. I thought it was a good one." Summer smiled.

"Thanks… I guess." Weiss said, still blushing.

A gap opened up nearby. "WAAAAAAH!" Reimu and Marisa slammed into the ground.

"Enjoy~!" Yukari said as the gap disappeared.

"Gee, thanks Yukari!" Reimu sarcastically said.

"Ow…" Marisa winced.

"Hello!" Caboose greeted as Reimu and Marisa saw the group.

"So… I guess we're helping you collect Power Stars now." Reimu said, rubbing the back of her head.

"Hey, they helped us out, so why not return the favor?" Marisa grinned.

"I think we helped them out, but… eh… whatever." Reimu shrugged. "Alright, now let's save this universe from this Bowser and Eggman!"

"YEAH!" Everyone cheered.

Meanwhile, with Rosalina…

"Oh me oh my…" Eldstar said as Rosalina had placed the Ztars down. "This is a predicament."

"Yeah." Rosalina nodded.

"Alright, stand back. We'll take care of this." Misstar said as one by one, they gathered around the Ztars and combined their energy into one, where the Ztars lit up and exploded in light, where they had returned as Power Stars. "Here you are!"

"Thank you." Rosalina smiled, taking the Power Stars with her as she teleported back to the Observatory.

And with that, the mini arc in Gensokyo is finished. Aaaand i'm gonna be honest, I originally had it be all in one chapter but I didn't wanna go overboard after realizing how long it was taking at the Scarlet Devil Mansion, so I decided to break it down. It's all good!

Soooo... *looks at Sephiroth* Okay, let's see... switched Olympus Colosseum to the Smash Mansion in my Kingdom Hearts story universe, didn't change Cloud out at all... Sabrina mentioning she'd rather have Bayonetta instead of Duck Hunt, Bayo gets confirmed... in the Super RWBY universe, K. Rool mentioning he wants to be part of the Smash roster in the first story, he gets in... in Chibi, Mac fought Incineroar and then he got in... Hades revived Sephiroth to torment Cloud...

OKAY, I'M CONVINCED SOMEONE AT NINTENDO IS READING MY STORIES AND GIVING SAKURAI IDEAS. Me and my unwitting predictions, I swear...

Soooo uh... I'm predicting: Bandana Dee, Sora, Shantae, Master Chief, Crash, Dante and heck, Reimu! Someone's gotta get in, right? RIGHT?

Oh, right, the Game Awards... I didn't really watch it. I knew there was a Smash trailer but I thought "Eh, i'll wait and see my Discord blow up." and then what do you know, right as i'm writing, Sephiroth gets confirmed! But... Last of Us Part 2 is the Game of the Year, and wouldn't you know it, I checked the site and they've won every single damn award. Knew it'd be rigged but holy crap!

Neil Druckmann, I direct this next bit to you - you don't deserve this award after everything you did. The only thing I would give you is a meat hook for me to string you up on for a worthy sacrifice to The Entity. Enjoy that 'victory' while it lasts man. Because I assure you, a downfall will happen for your career, and I'll be there. Laughing as it all comes crashing down. That's all I have to say, only direct hate at this Neil jerkoff."
