Siren could hear her phone ringing and she opened her eyes slowly, not sure if it was a dream or reality. The ringing started up again and there was a loud knock on the door. She looked around the room and realized that she was on top of Dabi on her couch. Answering the phone she stood up and the blanket dropped from their bodies causing Dabi to slowly open his eyes.

"Hello?" "We're at your door, open up." It was Reggie. "Oh shit, right. Give me five minutes." Siren hung up the phone and looked down at Dabi as he was about to close his eyes and reclaim some sleep.

"Dabi, put some clothes on, we got company." "Huh? What time is it?" He asked groggily as he rubbed his eyes with the back of his hand. "It's ten thirty," he sighed "I thought you wanted to go somewhere?" he asked opening his eyes fully. "We will once they leave," Siren said as she practically ran to her room and into her walk in closet. She threw on a black bra with some matching panties, a pair of faded skinny jeans and a black turtle neck sleeveless top as she made her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face.

Once out of her room she spotted Dabi dressed in his white tank top and navy blue pants sitting on the couch scrolling through his phone. Siren took a deep breath before opening the door. "Sorry about that?" She smiled at the trio of men as they walked past her and into her apartment.

"Doesn't look like they where having sex?" Said Derick in a loud whisper. "That's why she asked for five minutes, to cover the evidence," chimed in AJ. "I can hear you guys perfectly so shut the fuck up. Besides we just woke up, all the sex happened last night and man it was ama-" "We don't need details Siren." Reggie interrupted her. "Then I guess you don't want to hear about what you guys saw last night-" "Don't be stupid, that's our main reason for being here." Reggie interrupted her once again and she glared at him.

"Before we get completely off track, we brought this for you Siren." She turned to Derick and he was holding out what looked like a normal gift box. Whatever it was was wrapped in glittery purple wrapping paper. It was a decent size and had some weight to it so Siren sat it on the coffee table and proceeded to unwrap it.

As she opened the box the smell hit her before she even saw it and she smiled. "Aw, you guys didn't have to do this." There was a fat ass bag of some dark purple weed, which is where the smell was coming from. She picked it up and saw an assortment of edibles, from gummies to cookies. "Oh shit, these are my favorite edibles," "There's butter in there too so you can make your own." "This is, beyond thoughtful," she stood taking the box with her as she said. "Imma go grab some blunts. We're definitely gonna need it for this conversation."

Once Siren was out of sight Reggie, AJ and Derick surrounded Dabi as he didn't even flinch from his spot on the couch. "Something I can help you guys with?"

"What are your intentions with Siren?" Reggie started. "What are you, her dad?" "Just answer the fuckin' question. Are you just using her for money or your fifteen minutes of fame?" Chimed in AJ. "Nah, he's trying to make her a villain, get her to join that group from the other day," and here comes Derick putting in his two cents.

"Look, I don't want anything from her-" Dabi tried to answer but was cut off once again by Reggie. "Then why are you with her?" His glare was intense even to Dabi but the scarred man didn't crack easily.

"Maybe I actually like her…She's the only person I can tolerate." Dabi was actually telling the truth in this moment. Not because he had something to prove to these guys but because they where important people to Siren. If she'd told him that they meant nothing to her then he would've kept quiet. But she called them the closet thing she had to family.

"I think he's telling the truth," Derick whispered to the other two. "Why should I believe you?" Reggie never took his eyes off of Dabi's as he waited for his next answer. "I could give two shits if you believe me. I'm here for her no-"

"Enough." Siren was next to them in an instant and everyone flinched having not heard her approaching. "If you guys are done trying to grill him for information, why don't you sit down so I can tell you about my horrible childhood."

She was sitting on Dabis' lap in the arm chair while Reggie, AJ and Derick took up the couch. The cloud of smoke in the room was so clear that it created a fog that almost made it hard to see into the next room. Even so nothing could deflect from the conversation at hand. "What I don't get is who was the guy in the suit?" AJ asked followed by Reggie, "That's what I want to know, and is he dead?"

"He is dead, when we fought it was the first time that instead of creating a false image I created an actual manifestation. He thought it was fake and that's why he just stood there as I ran at him and sliced off his head." "So you can make real objects?" Reggie questioned trying to make sense of everything. "I think it only happens during stressful moments because I've only done it two times since." This time Derick interjected, "But who was he? You didn't show us his face for a reason."

As she looked down and off to the side she tried to think of the best way to format what she was about to say. "As we fought he told me that he was my biological father, I didn't believe him but then he showed me his quirk. His quirk manifested memories of whoever he touched. And then he told me that the woman who raised me wasn't my real mother. The woman who raised me was quirkiness but according to him my birth mother had an infatuation quirk that drew everyone to her. He paid her in the name of science to have his child and to never speak out about it or try to contact me. After I was born instead of giving me to him, like she was supposed to, she gave me to one of her friends to look after."

"He showed me a memory of not too long after I was born, he came to the place she was staying in and made her a deal, he would send her money to take care of me and she would hand me over as soon as my quirk manifested itself. Obviously she lied to him about my quirk since I started singing by the time I was two. That woman put me through hell before I even got there, for money. Money that wasn't spent on me or even food. When he told me that my birth mother gave me to one of her friends it made me realize that I probably wouldn't have had a different upbringing because they where both prostitutes."

"Damn yo, that's heavy." "Is your birth mom or the other one still alive?" Came the voices of AJ and Derick.

Reggie chimed in by asking, "What was the name of the organization? Are they still around?"

"As far as both moms, their dead. The one who took care of me overdosed on drugs not long after giving me up and my birth mother died in the hospital, complications from AIDS, around the time I turned three."

"They called themselves U.S.C. but I have no idea what it stands for. And as far as I know everyone in the building I was held in died on that day of the fire." "If no one has come after you after all this time, I think that's a good sign," Siren nodded her head in agreement.

"What all did they make you do?" Asked AJ.

"I-uh, I don't remember everything but I know I killed a bunch of people. When I would wake up there where many times that I had blood on my hands."

Derick held a look of confusion as he asked, "But you where being controlled?"

"Yeah, I still don't understand how or what, but it was like they had us hypnotized. All it took was one word or a signal and I would blackout for hours or even days at a time."

Everyone was quiet and Siren leaned her head against Dabis shoulder. She was happy that he was still here, his presence alone was enough to calm her and it showed in how relaxed and comfortable she was around him.

AJ noticed the difference in Sirens behavior and internally smiled at the woman's new found happiness. "I think I have a better understanding of why you are, the way you are," Derick corrected him, "I think we all have a better understanding now."

"What about your boyfriend? He's been pretty quiet this whole time," all eyes, except for Sirens' turned to Dabi. "Just leave him alone Reggie, If he wants to talk he will."

Silence fell upon the group and Siren grabbed another blunt to light when her phone started to ring. Pulling it from her pocket the screen read Sabine and Siren pressed the answer key and the speaker button. "Hey Sabine, wh-" "WAP is number one on the billboard!"

It took a minute for Siren to register what she was just told, "What?" "Yes! Siren thank you. This song wasn't even going to make it to radio and its number one and trending! We have to do a video immediately!"

"Congratulations Sabine-" "Great work," AJ and Derick leaned closer to the phone to give their congratulations. "Is everyone there?" Sabine asked after hearing two familiar voices. "Yeah, the three musketeers are here, wish you could've been here too," "Yeah, same but I got too many appearances to do that would need to be rescheduled. So when are you coming?"

"What do you mean?"

"When are you coming to L.A. so we can shot the video?" "Can't I just use my quirk and create something to send t-" "Nope. Hell no, we are doing it the traditional way," "Aw come on, I'm honestly not sure at the moment when I would have time to fly out there."

"Well let me know because the sooner the better," "Yeah, I'll keep you posted."

"Well have fun, I just wanted to tell you the good news," "Bye Sabine."

Sirens eyes widened slightly when she noticed the time on her phone. "Damnit is that really the time?" She looked at Dabi quickly stating, "We need to go," and stood up from his lap. "Where are you guys going?" "We have plans and we're going to be late if we keep sitting here," "Guess that means we should go," "You better call us when you come back to L.A.," She hugged each of them goodbye as she replied "Of course I will."

The car pulled up to a hot spring resort deep in the mountains. Siren stepped out and was hit with the cold air as she walked to the main entrance and was greeted with a reception worthy of a royalty. The doors opened for her as she stepped inside and it looked like everyone who worked in the place was there bowing their heads like lowly servants to their master. "Welcome Siren!"

"We are so happy to have you staying here with us this weekend. Kiko will show you to your room and if there is anything, and I do mean anything that you need, please don't hesitate to ask," "And you are?" "My apologies Miss, my name is Saito, I'm the owner of this establishment."

"Thank you so much for reserving the whole place for little old me, I hope it's not too much of an inconvenience," "Not at all! We are here to serve you." Siren nodded her head and turned to Kiko as they where lead down the hall.

"I hope everything is to your satisfaction," "Yes, thank yo-Oh and bring up everything on your dinner menu as soon as possible, I'm starving." "Right away Miss Siren."

"Everything on the menu?" Dabi questioned finally stepping out of the shadows. He had no reason to hide but Siren just assumed that was how he dealt with the unwanted attention.

"What? I'm hungry, besides I can afford it," "You don't have to impress me with your money-" "We're way past that. I just didn't feel like starring at a menu, that's all."

He shrugged his shoulders in response and stepped towards the double doors that lead outside. "I thought you wanted to go somewhere warm?" He questioned not bothering look back at her. "Yes well, it didn't seem like you could be gone for an extended amount of time so I decided to cut my loses and go to a hot spring for the weekend." Dabi continued to stare at the view from the open doors that lead to a private hot spring with a small waterfall feature coming off the rocks. There where plenty of trees to block them from noisy on-lookers, not like there would be any this far out in the mountains.

Siren sat her purse on the table and began to undress. She removed her coat and pulled her sweater over her head. As she walked towards the hot spring she removed the rest of her clothing, leaving a trail. Stepping past Dabi he finally noticed her and did a double take. His eyes followed her naked frame and a smirk grew on his face as she stepped into the water.

She stood in the chest height water and closed her eyes with a content sigh. Her ears picked up the small splash as Dabi entered the hot spring behind her and she opened her eyes but didn't bother to look at him. His hands wrapped around her waist as he stepped closer to her.

"There's one thing about you I can't figure out," "What's that?" "Your weakness."

She turned around in his arms and looked at his face "Isn't that obvious? You're my weakness Dabi."

"Hn, you say some of the cheesiest shit, you know that?" He stated with a smirk.

"I write music for a living that normally has to appeal to the masses. Yes I am aware of my cheesiness." She smiled back as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Every quirk has a drawback and yet I haven't noticed anything when you use yours."

"I don't know yours," "But you can see it," he held up his hand and continued, "These aren't self inflicted."

Siren looked at the scarred flesh on his hand and realization hit her. "Oh, I just thought they where battle scars." He shook his head 'no' and she looked down at the water in thought.

"If I don't use or overuse my quirk within a twenty-four hour period, I actually lose the ability to speak for the next twenty-four hours." She never told anyone because the last time she had to deal with a drawback was when she was a teenager. Use her quirk for longer than sixty minutes or not at all and she can't talk for the next twenty-four hours, her life was a constant juggle.

"That explains why you didn't use it for the entire performance at New Years," "I never do." "But that also means you have to sing everyday," "Technically I don't have to sing just activate my quirk at least once, yeah." "Don't you ever get tired of it?" "Don't you get tired of burning yourself? But you continue to do it because your fighting for something right?"

"What are you fighting for?"

"The chance to live my life the way I want to," "That's it?" "What else is there? We only get one life to live, might as well live it to the fullest. I put in a lot of work for my music because its the only thing I care about and since I love to do it and can get paid simultaneously the rest is just getting through the days. And honestly ever since you came into my life the days have gotten brighter and I have more to look forward to."

"Now that was probably the cheesiest shit you ever said, but I get it. Your life is better now because of me." "Oh wow I wasn't expecting your ego to show up," "I don't go anywhere without it." Siren giggled.

The next day Siren sat at the edge of the hot spring with her feet inside the water while she wrote in one of her notebooks. Dabi sat next to her only he had a cup of sake in his hand. "I thought this was supposed to be a vacation?"

"It is," she responded not looking up from the paper. "Then why are you working?" He asked starring at her.

"I'm not. Writing down lyrics that come to my mind isn't work. I'm also doing it so that I don't forget especially since we are drinking and I'm about to light this L." Closing the notepad she sat it down next to her and picked up the cigarillo and lighter.

"Just how much can you get away with?" She inhaled the smoke and let it out slowly while she spoke, "You mean, what? Legally?" Bringing the blunt to her lips she inhaled once more before holding it out towards him. "Yeah," he answered grabbing the blunt from her hand and bringing it to his lips.

"Let's put it this way, as long as I'm not physically harming someone else or myself I can get away with a lot."

"Must be nice," he responded handing the cigarillo back to her.

"Money doesn't buy happiness Dabi. All it gets you is either too much stuff or too many drugs."

"You speaking from experience because from what I can tell you're doing pretty well for yourself and I've only ever seen you smoke."

"All these things are a luxury, but I know what it was like to have nothing so my drive to never be broke again made me smart about my money…as far as the drugs, I did experiment a little after the group split but…weed is it for me. It helps with my anxiety and my insomnia, or at least it did at first, but recently I realized the only time I get a good nights rest is when I'm with you."

"They do say that rigorous activity makes you tired," Siren laughed at the unexpected joke and pushed herself into the water and away from Dabi to calm herself down completely.

"Now that was funny," she muttered more to herself as she turned back to him.

"I'm not here for your amusement-" She swam closer to him and stopped right in front of his legs before interrupting him. "That's exactly what you're here for. Now then," she placed her hands on his knees and spread them so that she had room to get nice and close to him. "Why don't you keep entertaining me while I pleasure you," she easily removed him from the shorts he was wearing and began to stroke its length.

"Do you have to say shit like that?" "Yes. Why, are you embarrassed?"

"No-" "Then shut up and let me concentrate on sucking your cock." She said with finality as she wrapped her mouth around his dick and sucked on the semi hard tool.

"This is great! I can't believe I get to do Siren's first interview in almost five years." "You'll have to excuse me, I have been a fan of yours for awhile so this is like a dream come tru," Siren couldn't remember the woman's name but she recognized her face as she smiled.

"That's good to now. I'd love to answer whatever questions you think my fans really want to know."

"Great!-" She was interrupted by the production manager, "We're live in 10…9…8…7…6…5…"

"Welcome back everyone! Today I have a very special guest with me, the famous American singer and local celebrity Siren!"

"Thanks for having me." Siren responded looking into the camera.

"Thank you for coming. It's been a few years since you've been in the public eye and everyone wants to know. What happened? Why did you stop making music?"

"That's the thing, I never stopped making music, I simply stopped releasing music to the public. But my mentor, the person who taught me to dance and pushed me to even pursue a career in music, he died right after Nowhere Kids third album tour. It was very devastating and my sadness was very obvious in the few songs I did create at that time so I decided to take a break and do some traveling."

"And what made you settle in Japan?"

"Honestly, I came here on a whim, but when I realized that I could walk down the street without being recognized that's what made me want to stay. I could enjoy a somewhat normal life."

"But then you started releasing music again. First you dropped a video of yourself doing a live performance of 'What You Need' and then came 'Ride it.' Tell me more about that and what made you want to get back into music?"

"It was a couple things. First I got tired of feeling sorry for myself, second I just couldn't keep making music for myself, third…you could say I found inspiration in a very unlikely source."

"Was that inspiration a boyfriend perhaps? Maybe someone who was in one of your videos?"

"Maybe."

"So you are seeing someone?"

"I always have someone around to keep my bed warm."

"But no one special in your life?"

Siren simply smiled as if she hadn't heard the question and the woman had no choice but to move on.

"Now when can we expect your first album to drop?"

"In about two weeks," "Oh wow, really?!" "Yes. It's a self titled album and I can't wait for everyone to see and experience it."

"What do you mean experience?"

"It's a video album so every song will have a music video."

"That is very interesting. One last question, about the video of your performance on New Years. Where you aware that you where performing for a villain terrorist organization?"

"I was aware of ReDestro and his fanatical beliefs, but no, I did not know exactly who I was performing for." "So your not aware that people are saying you've switched sides?" "It's impossible for me to have switched sides when I never was a part of either side to begin with. Even though I have a quirk and am a celebrity, I'm still a civilian. I'm neither a hero or a villain so those politics mean literally nothing to me. I can't stand people who judge others based off looks and different beliefs. If I said I no longer recognized you as a fan because you where quirkless how would that make you feel?" The woman was at a loss for words so Siren continued for her.

"Music is universal. When an artist is told how much their album sold they only break down the most basic demographics, age and sex. They don't tell you their race or sexual orientation, and they sure as hell don't tell you if they are a hero or a villain. My music is for everyone to enjoy."

"Girl! You really gave it to her on live television," Hana practically squealed with excitement as she sat on Sirens couch.

"I had no choice. She tried to ambush me right at the end about that New Years party, that's old news and nobody really cares…right?!" Siren looked at her friend for confirmation.

"I mean, when I saw it, I can't lie I was a little confused, but you killed the performance and I didn't think about it twice."

Siren sighed at her response, "That's just because you're my friend-" Hana shook her head 'no' before she spoke again. "You forget we both work at a club where we sing and dance for mostly criminals. Hate to say it but crime does pay, and it pays well."

Nodding her head in agreement Siren said, "I can't outright say it in an interview but the money was definitely my main motivation. That money is the reason I can release my album in a few days-" "AH! Don't remind me, I'm already so excited, what you showed me earlier was fuckin' amazing, seriously your best work. OH! You should throw an album release party!"

"And invite who?" Siren questioned as she sat next to her best friend and handed her a glass of white wine.

"Are you kidding?! You invite everyone and see who shows up," "That sounds like a terrible idea, only because everyone I know would have to fly here." "Oh shit, you're right."

"What about a live performance? A mini concert of some of the songs from the album," she questioned looking up while trying to figure out what to say next. "You could do it at the amphitheater."

"Now that is a great idea Hana," she opened her mouth to say something but Siren continued, "Thankfully I'm way ahead of you on this one."

"Well excuse me," she said faking that she was hurt by placing a hand on her chest. "I gotta be ahead of the game, already paid to use the amphitheater, got a band, background singers and dancers, and I even asked Z to perform with me on two of the songs." "He's the guy who called you a couple months ago about that one single right?"

"Yeah, he'll be in Japan promoting his album so the timing just worked out." Siren responded before taking a sip of her wine.

"You've been in a better mood lately, did something happen?" Her question made Siren still. Where was this coming from?

"Like what?"

"I don't know, but you never told me how your date with Hawks went," 'Oh shit! I completely forgot about that,' she thought as she tried to recall exactly what happened.

"I never saw him that night. He was supposed to pick me up from my place and," images of Dabi showing up and them naked on her bed flashed in her mind and realization made her face pale. "Fuck me."

"What? What happened?"

Siren explained in short about Dabi showing up unexpectedly and the compromising position she could have been caught in.

"You think he saw you guys together?"

"It would definitely explain why I never heard from him and why he hasn't popped up on me…Why? Why do I keep showing these men that I truly am a hoe?"

"You're not a hoe Siren, you're just sexually free-" "Tomato tomhato, it's still a hoe Hana."

"Are you only sleeping with him, Dani?" "Dabi-" "Whatever." "Yes, I'm only sleeping with him," "Then there you go, problem solved. You ,Siren, are not a hoe. If he did see you guys maybe he just cut his loses and decided you weren't worth it or he never showed up and just can't face you."

"Do you think I should call him?" "You don't owe him anything-" "Unless he saw me with Dabi, then I at least owe him an explanation," "See what I mean, a real hoe wouldn't care."

Siren sat in her studio with a lit blunt hanging from her lips as her head bobbed up and down to the music pumping through the headphones. She was listening to her album all the way through to make sure it was perfect and at the same time finalizing her set choice for the debut concert.

As she inhaled the smoke her body relaxed into the chair and she closed her eyes. Exhaling slowly she immediately felt like someone was watching her and opened her eyes. Turning to face the door she saw Dabi leaning against the doorframe. She pulled the headphones off her head and pressed the button to stop the music.

The fact that he just stood there, not saying a word was awkward and Siren's stare was not helping.

"What's up? Something on your mind?" She asked him growing tired of the quiet.

"Why are we doing this?" He questioned and Siren raised an eyebrow not understanding him completely.

"Doing what exactly?"

"You can't honestly be happy," it wasn't a question, more of a statement and Siren had no idea where this was coming from but it seemed that Dabi had some insecurities that even she was unaware of.

"You mean with you? Dabi I wouldn't waste my time on any of this if it didn't make me happy. This album, the group…and especially you." She turned to look at him fully and their eyes met in a brief stare.

He closed his eyes and sighed, "You never say my name." And suddenly everything made sense, he was upset because she never publicly said that they where a couple. She was surprised to say the least because she figured that he would want to keep a very low profile and not announce it to the world.

"That's because I respect both of our privacy," she scratched the back of her head before continuing, "However if you want me to publicly name you as my boyfriend, I am not against it,"

"But?"

"No but's…It's just, I know I will have so many questions to answer-" "You don't owe anybody anything. It's your life right?"

"Using my own words against me huh," she smirked before turning back to the computer and putting the headphones back on her head.
