"How did you do that?" Rachel asked me when we all settled in the living room after the whole Eli fiasco.
I shrug. "Like Blaine said Kitty drag us to volunteering in almost all of the orphanage in the city. We handled worst."
"Kitty?" Rachel she asked.
"The student you coached. She was the leader of the New Directions that you coached. She's a psychology major, specialises in children." She nodded.
"I got to go guys. I have to rest. I have a full schedule for tomorrow." Rachel said as a car honk outside the house. She hugged everyone and since I was sitting between Kurt and Blaine, I dodge her and give her space to hug Blaine. Kurt elbowed me. I look at him and he just raised his eyebrow at me.
Kurt and I rekindle our friendship when Blaine and him get back together. Well, Blaine always drag me to dinner with Kurt. And we just made peace with each other. I said sorry for what I said and he said he is also sorry for not reaching out to me. No crying just full of hugging.
"What was that?" Kurt finally said when Rachel is safely out of the house.
"What?" I asked.
"Don't you what-what me." I rolled my eyes. "She was going to hug you. I told you, you have to make an effort because they are just shy to approach you."
I look at him. "No, she was just reaching for Blaine." Both of them sigh. "What?"
"You need help." Blaine said. Santana suddenly came out of the kitchen amd announced, "Dinner is ready. Would you be eating here?" She asked me.
"Yeah..." I turn to Blaine. "I told everyone that I won't be going home. Can I crash at your place?" Suddenly there is a glimmer in Blaine's eyes.
"No, you should stay in here in case the two would need help for Eli." I was going to express my feelings on staying here when Kurt shouted, "Santana, would it be okay if Tina stay here for the night? We kind of have a reservation for tonight, we won't be joining dinner, but Tina would." Then they said goodbye to Brittany and Eli who is coming down from upstairs. I was beyond shock to process everything, the next thing I know I was sitting in the dining room of Pierce-Lopez Household.
After the awkward choo-choo dinner, I am sitting in the middle of the sofa. Brittany and Santana are upstairs as they try to get Eli to sleep.
I look around the living room. The room screams Brittany while clashing with Santana's elegance. I walked towards the half pink and half red cabinet. It contains the TV, CD's and other things, but one thing that stood out is the wall beside it. It's a Picture wall. I never get to see it when I came here because I though it was just a mural wall. All of our pictures from 1st Glee Club year up until the end is here. All of our competition pictures are there, some pictures of us goofing around, drunk and graduation pictures.
I was surprised when I saw a pictures of me and Brittany. It's in the top left part of the wall. Pictures of our sleepovers, dance practice and Brittany's favorite, our single ladies picture.
"You were her bestfriend. Except for me, of course." I was surpised when I heard Santana. "After Blaine's unnecessary outburst during Rachel's show, she started saying you're just Tina, and you're not important." Ouch, that hurts.
"Do you know why we picked Eli?" I shook my head. "Because Brittany wouldn't stop looking at her. She keeps on saying, that girl is selfish, that she doesn't like her. But you know, she can't take other child, only her. Then I realized Eli reminds her alot like the friend she lost."
I took a deep breath, "Why are you saying this to me? I was hurt Santana. I was hurt with the words you keep on throwing at me." I rolled my eyes and stop my tears from falling down. "Nevermind, where is your guest room? I'm tired."
I was lying on my bed when a knock came from the door. "Who is it?" The door opened and Brittany came in. I smiled.
"You can't sleep?" She nodded. I've done to many sleepover with Brittany, so I know her really well. We practiced choreo together since we are always the back up dancers.
"Tina... I know you think I am mean to you, but that is just how the world is. Do you know that there are people who heard worst than that." She said.
"I bet they never heard their friends say that to them." I said.
"I'm sorry... I didn't know what happen..." She said. I can hear her hiccuping. I hugged and said, "It's okay. We all go through things like that."
She raised her head and asked, "Do you forgive me?"
"You didn't even do a thing. You don't need my forgiveness." She gave me a confused look.
"Can you be my friend again? Lord Tubbington is a lousy friend. He never danced with me. And he never told we where to go. Do you know? they once gave me direction and I was lost in Chicago." she said. I don't know if I'm talking to Eli or Brittany.
"Of course." I said.
"Would you come back?" Eli said. It's 8 in the morning and I have to go. Even though it's sunday I can't leave the kids alone at the apartment. They'll starve.
"Of course." I hugged Eli and stand straight and looked at the two girls. I waved at them and was surprised when Brittany attacked me with a hug.
"Don't forget to visit us. I know you are just an hour away. And I have so many things to tell you." Britanny said.
I nod at her and looked at Santana. "Oh shut up." I said when I see her give me a suspicious look. I turned around and was walking towards the cab when Santana said, "I did miss you, Girl Chang." I can't help but smile. 3 friends down and now only one left.
