Meeting The Heavenly... Mother?

~Luca~

After the attack on the Government Research Facility and my liberation of the enslaved Demi-Humans, I was on the run.

I had literally killed an Archangel. To make things even more serious, I killed Michael, the Top Dog of the Archangels. The literal Angel of War.

Then, there was God.

I had never met the guy before, but I knew there was a definite possibility that he knew that I had killed an Archangel.

A possibility of him coming after me.

Except... it had been two days after the attack. After I killed Michael, so... where was he?

Was God unable to interfere in my life, such as striking me down with a bolt of lightning, while I was alive?

Was he only able to do something once I was dead?

Questions like this were pretty serious, yet were also left unanswered.

Ever since I started my journey alone, being the Lone Wolf I had seen myself as when I was younger, life felt a lot more complicated than I had originally thought it would be.

I realized that I now feared for the safety of those who were close to me more than when I was with them.

After all, when you get on the Big Guy's bad side by killing the Chief of the Archangels, wouldn't you care about the safety of the people you love?

I looked around what used to be the Arden Fair Mall, the mall I had taken Emily to when we picked out our books from the book store, and sighed.

In just over a month for the world to descend into chaos after receiving the crystals from the Universe.

Earth, it seemed, was destined to become the battleground of Angels, Demons, Demi-Humans and any other being that wanted a piece of someone else.

War over the destiny of the Humans.

Either you were with the Humans or against them.

The Arden Fair Mall was now a shadow of it's once busy self as the only people here were refugees of the horrors of Man when presented with a possibility of becoming stronger than they once were.

The people here had been tricked, or forced, into giving their crystals to the Rich and other people who had any kind of political or financial power before the Night of a Thousand Lights.

Either, they witnessed their family's being killed right in front of them, or they were given money as compensation for 'useless' objects.

Sometimes both.

Sometimes these people were given money as payment for the crystals they owned, then just killed afterwards.

That was the world Humanity now found itself in.

As I looked at everyone here, trying to survive after the horrors they were forced to endure, I found my thoughts drifting towards a blonde young woman with bright red eyes.

Emilia... I hope you're alright... I thought to myself as my eyes started to drift closed.

~Several Hours Later~

When I awoke, I could see people staring at me.

No. Not at me. I thought as I followed their gazes downwards.

Next to me were two little girls, each with animal ears and tails.

The little girls' tails gently shifted back and forth as they held each other, and myself, close.

As my memory began to register where I was, I realized that these were the Dog and Cat girls I had seen a few days prior.

The same ones I had saved from the Archangels.

Soon, they began to shift revealing adorable blue eyes.

"Mr. Luca?" Aria asked.

"G' Morning." Penelope yawned before burying her head deeper into my jacket.

"What are you girls doing here?" I asked softly.

"We followed you when you left. Mr. Tokugawa said it was okay as long as we were with you." Aria said, looking up at me with puppy dog eyes.

I sighed before rubbing both of their heads gently, causing their tails to sway a bit quicker.

"Alright, but you're bothering the other people here." I replied. "Let's go."

Begrudgingly, they each stood up and bowed to the refugees.

"We're sorry for causing you so much trouble." They both said in unison.

"I apologize as well. We'll be taking our leave." I said.

After we had left the Mall, I began my trek back to my home town in an effort to see how Emily and the rest of my family and friends were doing.

"Hopefully, they're doing alright." I said absentmindedly.

~Emily~

With the disappearance of Luca...again... and the attack on the Research Facility where the Government had been conducting research on the crystals, my worry grew.

My talk with Rose, Maria, Madison and Luca's sisters didn't help either.

Then, we received news that a boy had been seen entering the base with the Sargent that had taken Luca.

Evidently, that boy had stayed there up until the attack before suddenly vanishing.

I wished with all of my being that if that boy had been Luca, that he was alright now.

That somehow, the Angels who attacked the base hadn't killed him.

However, with all of the casualties that were reported after the building had collapsed, it was hard to believe that Luca had survived.

After all, Luca lost his powers.

The angels that attacked him were rumored to be Archangels, God's strongest angels that he only sent down to Earth when something needed to be destroyed.

"Emily, you need to be brave. For Luca." Madison tried to say in a cheerful tune. I looked at her for a brief moment before turning my head away, still staring at the sun in the sky for what felt like an eternity. "He'll be back. I know it."

With that, Madison left me alone.

It seemed as though everyone was trying to be nice and hope that Luca survived, but couldn't they see that he didn't?

Every time Luca left, I always seemed to lose a part of myself.

Every time he wouldn't talk to us for days...weeks even, my faith that he still loved, or ever loved, me would diminish.

I hated the fact that I would stay up at night, for as long as I could, just to see if he would come back to me.

When Luca first left, I told myself that he would be back.

That he was just late trying to save someone or that he got stuck at the laundry mat washing his clothes.

Yet, even as I thought of him being dead, I continued staying awake at night because it had become a habit.

I would watch my bedroom door for his return.

Then, my mother decided that it was time for us to leave town.

The attack on the Research Facility was heard from all over the country and people really started to believe that the foreigners in our Country, in our world, weren't to be trusted.

It began to get so bad that our parents, and Violet, traveled out of state in order to escape the mobs of people wanting to kill the Demi-Humans.

"But, what if Luca comes back?!" Victoria tried to ask. "Luca won't know where we are!"

She didn't know about the attack on the Research Facility.

Nor did she know that's where Luca had been taken.

"It's alright, Honey. Luca will know where we are." Mrs. Walker said. "After all, Luca can do anything so don't worry. Luca will find us."

I wanted to scream at her and tell her that she's wrong. Luca...Luca was dead.

As I had thought about this, I noticed Violet look at me and shake her head.

She then used sign language and said, 'No.'

I raised an eyebrow to this, but shook my own head to dismiss the thought.

Luca was dead.

After we had left, leaving a note for Luca in case he ever ''did'' come back, telling him where we were going.

All the note said was, "We went to see our dream."

It was referring to a state Luca's mother had always wanted to visit, but never had the money to.

A state that was far enough from the prying eyes of those in the city and far enough from the mobs that we hopefully wouldn't be attacked by.

Since we weren't taking a car, nor any form of vehicular transportation, it took us almost a month to reach the other side of the country where very few people lived.

Everyone that lived here, it seemed, were farmers.

Rose-Mary and her mother weren't too keen on living here, but preferred here than a place where they were likely to be harmed in the crossfire between Man and Beast-Men.

As far as I could tell, even these...farmers... had crystals, yet in this rural part of the country, maybe Demi-Humans and the mobs would leave us alone.

Well, that's initially what I until I saw a Demi-Human girl run across the field and begin playing in the moonlight.

I watched as she ran around, flapping her little black wings and seeming like a normal little girl who just happened to have wings...and horns.

Then the girl's parents came towards her, ushering her inside while looking around.

It was odd, I guess, to watch these winged humanoid beings act like a "normal" family, but then again, maybe I was only thinking they were different because I didn't come from a world full of these kinds of beings.

In my world, most people didn't have wings.

Well, except for Madison, but that didn't count since she was psychic.

When the little girl looked at my window, I ducked down out of fear.

As I slowly peaked my head up, I could see the little girl look at me with curiosity before smiling and waving at me.

I felt a little idiotic with how I reacted to her noticing me, but smiled and waved back at her nonetheless.

After the girl and her family disappeared within the farmhouse across the yard from the one I was at.

Since the house was large enough, my Mom and Dad wanted everyone to stay with us just so we could see one another everyday.

~Penelope~

Mr. Luca was a really nice man.

Not just because he saved us from the Archangels, but because he always seemed to do everything we wanted.

As we traveled to where his family was, Mr. Luca would allow us time to rest if we were tired, time to play whenever we got bored, and even all the food we could eat.

We were heading to a place called "Woodland" which sounded like a place full of trees, which was good because currently, everything around us was broken.

Mr. Luca says that these used to be homes, hospitals, schools and other places where the humans used to live and go. He says that humans were a lot like us before the crystals came to their world and that since they appeared, people had become more and more weird... almost as if the crystals could affect them.

On our way to Woodland, we paced through a place called "Fresno" and heard about rich people, which I assumed were like Nobel men and women, hurting others and taking their crystals.

Those who were lucky received money for their crystals without being hurt while those who weren't lucky... they were either hurt or worse...

Mr. Luca won't tell me was quietus means, but the way he refuses to talk about it makes me believe it's something bad.

After almost an entire two weeks of traveling with him, Mr. Luca said that we finally arrived at Woodland.

"But... where are all of the trees?" I asked. "I thought you said this was Woodland? Doesn't that mean there would be a lot of trees?"

Mr. Luca knelt down and patted my head, causing my heart to beat faster.

"Penny, you need to understand that some places are called different things, even if it doesn't exactly match the name." He said in a serious tone.

Even though he talks and acts scary, I can tell he's still a good person.

After all, why would 'to máska íroa' (the Masked Hero) be anything else?

Although, after a few minutes of looking around, Mr. Luca seemed a bit on edge.

"Girls, I need all of you to stay close." He instructed. Immediately, we got close to him. "Penny and Haley-Rae, tell me if you hear anything. Aria, tell me if you smell anything strange, okay?"

We nodded our heads and followed him further into the town.

As we got closer to a large, ruined building that read "Hospital", we heard gun shots.

"Luca! To our right!" Haley-Rae whispered. Within a split second, Mr. Luca spun around and caught a sword with his left hand.

"RUN!" Mr. Luca screamed, throwing a small bag to me before turning his attention towards the masked people trying to attack us.

I took Aria and Haley-Rae by their hands and started running in the opposite direction further into the town.

When I took a peek back at Mr. Luca, I noticed he had a small black object in his right hand. My eyes widened as I remembered this as the same weapon he used against the Archangels.

"Penny? What is it?" Aria huffed as we continued running.

I shook my head and gave her a weak smile.

"It's nothing. We should keep going. Mr. Luca should be meeting with us soon." I tried to sound confident, but I could hear more people running after him when we left.

At most, it may take him a few minutes to finish everyone off if he decided to use the black object.

Then, we heard a loud bang followed by people shouting and screaming. Another bang caused everyone to go silent.

"We should keep going." I suggested, pulling them further until we reached a house that looked different.

Unlike every other house in the area, this one looked completely fine.

The two houses next to it looked completely fine as well.

Aria let go of my hand and wandered forward, almost as if in a trance.

"Aria! Where are you going?!" I hissed, only to notice Haley-Rae was in the same sort of trance.

"It smells like Mr. Luca..." Haley-Rae said as she and Aria pushed open the door to the middle house.

"Wait!" I hissed as I chased them inside.

Once I got inside, I took notice of the serene feeling I had which was odd since I had only gotten that feeling around...

"Mr. Luca!" Aria and Haley-Rae exclaimed.

When I got closer to them, I could see both of them holding a picture of Mr. Luca, except from when he was older.

"Whoa! This one looks like Mr. Luca, except as a grown up!" Aria exclaimed, startling Haley-Rae.

"That's really weird!" Haley-Rae whispered. "Is that Mr. Luca's daddy?"

"No. That's actually me." I heard someone say.

Immediately, I turned around and looked at the figure.

Subconsciously, I had reached inside the bag Mr. Luca had given me and pulled out a blue crystal, pointing it at the figure standing in the doorway behind us.

Much to my surprise, the crystal took the form of a small dagger I had seen Mr. Luca use to make food with.

The figure let out a chuckle before crouching down and petting my head.

"Good job, Penny." Mr. Luca said. "I'm proud of you guys finding my family's house and you for being able to use the crystals properly."

"Hey! No fair! I want Mr. Luca to pat my head too!" Aria exclaimed.

"Me too!" Haley-Rae whispered before she blushed and looked down.

"Alright, come here you two." Mr. Luca said, opening his arms and allowing them to hug him.

As we giggled while being held by him, he petted each of us.

After a few moments, Mr. Luca stood up and began looking around.

"Mom?" He called out. "Emily? Megan? Victoria? Is anyone home?"

"I don't smell anyone else here." Aria said. "It seems like they may have left a while ago."

"I don't hear anyone inside, either." I pointed out. "Maybe we should look around and see if they left a clue as to where they went?"

"Good idea, Penny." Mr. Luca said, patting my head once again. I could feel my tail sway back and forth.

For the next few minutes, everyone kept looking around. I found myself inside a room that looked as though it hadn't been touched in a long time.

Everything was so neat, besides the table in the corner were various pages and other things were strewn about.

When I walked over to the bed, I took notice of a singular piece of paper with writing on it.

I couldn't read the writing, so I took it to Mr. Luca.

"Mr. Luca, I found this. What does it say?" I asked him.

He looked at the note, scrunched his eyebrows before they looked almost sad.

"What? What's wrong?" I said.

"It's nothing. We just have to head East. It turns out my family was in trouble and had to go to Maine." He said.

"What's Maine?" I asked.

"Maine is a state where my mother wanted to go since she was a little girl. It's a place were not many people live." Mr. Luca said. "And with everything that's going on, I imagine that's the only place she'd feel safe."

"How long is it going to take for us to get to Maine?" Haley-Rae asked.

"If all goes well, it should only take us a little less than a month since I have a few favors I need to cash in." Mr. Luca said before we left his family's house.

We ended up walking down more streets until we reached another set of houses lined next to one another.

It was weird how the Humans in this world wanted to live so close to one another.

Where I came from, everyone had a big yard were they could play and do all kinds of things. That... didn't seem to be the case here.

Mr. Luca walked up to the door and knocked several times.

"Who is it?" A voice came from within. "We don't want any!"

"Richard! It's me! Let me in!" Mr. Luca said, pounding on the door again.

A bunch of rustling came from behind the door before it suddenly opened.

In the doorway stood an old man, probably 50 or 60 years old, with long, bleach white hair and beard.

He wore a bunch of baggy clothes that made him look extremely scrawny and weak, at least in comparison to Mr. Luca.

"Luca? Is that you?" The old man asked to which Mr. Luca nodded. "You look just like you did when you were a runt."

The old man growled out the last part.

"Yeah, turns out Plan 52 went into action and now I'm a teenager." Mr. Luca said. I couldn't help but to raise an eyebrow to what he was talking about.

What was Plan 52? Why was it so special? And, Mr. Luca turned into a younger adult?

"So, Mythological beings have invaded our world and you think that has something to do with your powers going out of wack?" Mr. Richard asked.

A nod from Mr. Luca.

"Hmm... That certainly is a predicament." Mr. Richard added. "I assume that attack on the Research Facility had something to do with these runts?"

"Yes, although I may or may not have God trying to kill me now." Mr. Luca replied.

"How so?"

"Well, I kind of killed the Archangel Michael."

Everyone went silent. For several grueling moments, it felt like the air had suddenly gone cold almost as if we were being watched by a bad guy.

Mr. Richard stepped outside a bit further and looked up into the air as if he was trying to look for something.

Without a word, he ushered all of us inside before closing the door and placing several locks on it.

"Then you're here about that favor I still owe you, huh?" Mr. Richard asked in a hushed voice. He seemed to look around the house as if worried someone was listening in on their conversation.

"Yeah. I need the Reaper outfit, your stockpile of crystals, and a car." Mr. Luca replied. "Oh, and they need new clothes."

He gestured to us. I just cocked my head to the side before looking down at my clothes.

We were still wearing out slave clothes after all.

"Alright. They can go into the room over there." Mr. Richard pointed to a solitary room near the end of the house. On the door was a name of some kind. "You and I will go grab the other supplies."

Before he and Mr. Luca walked off, I grabbed Mr. Luca's hand and squeezed it.

"It's okay, Penny. You girls just go grab some clothes. Use the duffle bag in the room and grab whatever you girls like." He told me.

"Okay!" Aria said, jumping up and down before bounding off towards the room.

"O-Okay." Haley-Rae said before scampering off towards the Dog-Girl.

"If that's what you want..." I whispered before following the others.

"Now, I've made a few improvements to the original Reaper suite that I think you may like." I heard Mr. Richard say before his voice disappeared.

"So, who's room do you think this is?" I heard Aria ask.

"The door says 'Cathryn'." Haley-Rae interrupted. "I think this may have been his daughter's room."

Did he actually have a daughter? If so, then were was she?

"What do you think happened to her?" Aria asked Haley-Rae as she grabbed a couple clothing items from the closet and put them on.

"Maybe she left? After all, Mr. Richard is an old man." Haley-Rae replied.

"Think we should ask Mr. Luca about it?" I said. "He might know what happened."

"I don't know, but we should just do as Mr. Luca asked." Aria said, sounding a bit more mature than she usually was. "Don't want to make him mad."

We all nodded our heads before each grabbing a bag of our own and picking out which clothes we liked.

Aria ended up grabbing a bunch of clothes which consisted of mainly pants and t-shirts.

Haley-Rae grabbed several short dresses and jackets that made her look like she was ready for the summer breeze.

I, on the other hand, couldn't stand wearing pants for some reason. I tried on several different pairs, but they all felt extremely restricting on my movement, so I went with several pairs of shorter pants that went to the middle of my thigh.

I also grabbed different shirts and jackets in case we needed those on our way to "Maine".

After throwing all of the clothes we liked into the bags, we stepped out of Cathryn's room and waiting for Mr. Luca and Mr. Richard at the entrance of the house.

~Luca~

"Thanks, Richard." I said to the old man beside me as we walked up the stairs towards the girls.

"What for? You were the one who saved my bacon some years ago." Richard said, letting out a grunt. "Not to mention the fact that I heard talk about the other races. Haven't seen them really until now."

His voice became a whisper as we entered the the hallway to the house and found the girls waiting for us.

"You sure this is all you need, kid?" He asked, gesturing to the duffle bag slung over my shoulder. "From what we talked about, you grunts may as well grab enough ammunition and weapons for a small army."

"Plan 52, Richard. We just need the bare essentials and enough weapons to survive. Plus, with the truck, we should be able to get to Maine as soon as possible and make sure my family's okay." I told him.

"Alright, well let's go get you runts in the truck. I still need to get some sleep." Richard said before he led us to his garage where several cars, motorcycles, trucks and a small WWI cannon could be seen.

The guy, from what I knew about him, had been preparing for the apocalypse since before my mother was born.

His preparations had gotten so bad that his wife took his daughter and left him.

It was sad, but that's what happens when you're like him.

Richard Dane was born with an ability in which he could predict the future, however he rejected this ability at a young age. Even so, his ability continued to work and was shown as him being a Prepper, or someone who preps for the apocalypse.

What he couldn't see, however, was the fact that his merciless training on his wife and daughter would ultimately lead to them leaving him when his daughter was just a 9 year-old girl.

They ended up cutting off all contact with him and, to this day, he still doesn't know what Cathryn Dane looks like.

As we climbed into the truck, Richard placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Look, kid... if you see my wife and daughter can you let her know that I still love her?" He asked, looking into my eyes before suddenly turning away. "I know it's a long shot since I don't even know what happened to them, but if you ever do run across my daughter or wife, can you let them know that I still love them?"

"Yeah, of course Richard. If I see them, I'll let them know." I told him before starting up the truck.

"Good." Richard replied. "I knew there was something about you that I liked."

"Goodbye Mr. Richard!" Aria exclaimed as she waved to him.

"Bye!" Penny said as we started to exit the garage.

"B-Bye!" Haley-Rae whispered, though I doubt he heard her.

"See you around, kids!" Richard said before closing the garage door.

After we said our goodbyes, we began our journey to see my family and friends. If they made it to Maine, then we needed to search the state for them.

If not... then hopefully we would see them on our way there.

~6 Hours Later~

We drove for nearly 7 hours before it became too dark to see where we were driving to.

Everyone had fallen asleep in their seats as I continued driving, however close to 11 PM, I began to feel my eyes drift closed.

"Ah, crap." I said aloud, beginning to feel the effects of not sleeping very much again.

It wasn't as bad as when I first lost my powers and tried to meditate for several days straight, or when I stayed awake for two weeks before running away from Emily and my life.

Still, I had to watch over the three little girls sitting behind me so I drove a bit more until I found a vacant radio station where we could hopefully sleep for a few hours.

I stopped at the entrance of the small building, got out of the truck, and took a look inside.

The inside was, for lack of a better word, dead.

There weren't any dead bodies, or horrible smells, but the air coming from outside cause the shack to feel extremely cold.

Regardless, it was probably going to be better than sleeping in the truck all night.

I ended up moving several pieces of furniture, grabbing a blow-up mattress along with blankets and pillows from the truck before finally picking up each girl and putting them on the bed one-by-one.

After I made sure they weren't going to freeze to death, I went to go lock up the truck then sat on the chair beside a desk near the front of the radio station.

For what felt like several hours, I stared at the little girls sleeping next to one another and contemplated taking the truck and leaving them there.

Yeah, they'd probably hate me for leaving them, but they'd probably be safer here than with me.

I literally killed an Archangel. God had it out for me.

To make it worse, I killed the Archangel Michael.

I ended up falling asleep just after coming to the conclusion that the Archangels would be coming after the Demi-Humans and these girls, so it wouldn't be any safer if they were or weren't with me.

In my dream, I found myself in what appeared to be a dark, empty space.

It was extremely cold, yet there was nothing around me that I could see, even with my extremely sensitive eyes.

Deciding that I wasn't going to be able to see anything, I closed my eyes and focused all of my attention of hearing.

In the distance, I heard breathing that seemed to get closer with every passing second.

"Trying to hear me, are you?" I heard something ask. The voice itself seemed feminine. Dark. Almost... sinister. "You killed Michael."

I already knew that I killed him.

"Where am I?" I asked. "Who are you?"

"I am known by many names." Cliche. "Elohim, Yahweh, Abba and The Heavenly Father." The figure said.

Then, it dawned on me.

I was talking to God. Not a god, but THE God.

"You're God?" I said, raising an eyebrow in confusion. I was always told that God was a he because he was always called the Heavenly father not mother. "Aren't you supposed to be a man?"

"Yes, well you humans always preferred that men have the power." God said. "Well, to answer your question... no. I'm not 'supposed' to be a man. I'm a woman. Female. After all, I did create man, just like women give birth to their children."

I was, in lack of a better expression, confused even more by this statement.

God was literally saying that He wasn't a He, but actually a She. That, I guess, women were stronger than men because they were actually created in God's image.

"Then, what about the brilliant light that's supposed to emanate from you?" I asked. "Aren't you supposed to be this blinding light?"

"Again, no." God replied. "I'm the darkness outside of Earth and your perceived realm of vision. The light you're looking for isn't me, but someone else."

"Then... Why am I here?" I said. "Are you going to kill me?"

"Seriously?" God asked in an irritated tone. "I summon your spirit into Heaven and your immediate assumption is that it's to kill you?"

There was a pause between us.

"Yes." I told her.

God sighed, causing the entire space around me to become colder for a split second.

"No. I didn't bring you here to kill you, Lucius Evens Walker. I brought you here so we could speak in private." God finished, probably giving me a moment to think and grasp the situation.

"What do you want to talk about O' Heavenly Mother?" I asked a bit sarcastically.

"It's about the world, Lucius. I need you to save it." God said, completely catching me off guard.

"What?"

"I need you to save the world."

"From what?"

"From those who would destroy it." God answered. "There is a war going on between every race in creation and there is no right or wrong side in this war."

What does that mean? There is no "right" or "wrong" side?

Is she talking about how the Archangels, the most loyal of all of her angels, killed humans and Demi-Humans?

"What do you mean?" I asked. "Are you trying to say that Angels and Demons are actually on opposite sides? That the Bible was wrong about who was good and who was bad?"

"Yes and no, Lucius." She said. "You see, Angels are Good, but so are Demons. Then again, Angels and Demons are Bad." She paused. "Think of every myth, every being ever conceived being partially correct, if not completely correct. Then, imagine that these beings are caught in a war for who has control over Earth, or at least the Earth that you know.

"Now, imagine each of these things that were thought of were both good and bad because that's the nature of everything. Nothing is completely good and nothing is completely bad either.

"Angels, Demons, Gods and Monsters; neither side is full of evil and neither side is full of innocence either."

I could only stare down at what I assumed were my hands.

On one hand, it seemed as though God was telling me that there is good even in what is considered inherently bad and vice versa.

On the other hand, I could very well have been talking to a being other than "God".

"Then, are you saying that there are more worlds, or Earths, out there that have either been lost or taken over by evil?" I said.

"Yes. That's correct."

"How do I stop it?" I asked hesitantly.

"You must get your power back. Then, you need to save your world. After that, open a portal to another world and take it back from Evil." God told me.

"So, just a few simple things?" I said.

"No." She said before I suddenly felt as though I was falling.

I could feel my heart feel as though it was going to burst as hundreds of voices seemed to surround me.

"What do we do now?" One asked.

"Now, we bring the Humans to their knees. Then, we go after the Gods." Another said.

"Do you think He will try and stop us?" The first said.

"He always does." The second replied before I finally woke up screaming.

What was that? I thought. Did God just tell me that I had to save the world?

"Mr. Luca?" I heard Penelope yawn as she rubbed her eyes. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm okay, Penny. Go ahead and go back to sleep. I'll wake you up in a few minutes." I said.

"Okay. Good night, Mr. Luca." She yawned once again.

Why me? Why did God want me to save the entire Human race? I began to think. Then again... why did the those voices talk about 'Gods'? Does that mean other Pantheons exist as well?
