A/N: So, on account of me having barely wrote any Skipper, and that he's ex-military, I figured this would be a great chapter for him.
Disclaimer: I own none of the recognizable characters, Disney/Pixar owns them.
Skipper always loved his guns. Whether he was training, looking, watching or target shooting. He loved guns.
He had an excellent shot with deadly accuracy, which so far has only been rivaled by Cabbie's aim. The big war horse was just about as good at Skipper, but missed one of the moving targets in their shoot-off.
Either way, it had been fun sharing an experience with someone who liked guns. Not as much as him, but it was a common interest and something that had Skipper developing a friendship with him.
Skipper not only loved guns, but he could name almost all the brands and types of guns and bullets that were out there. Considering how many were out there, that was pretty impressive, and no small feat.
Skipper had a relatively small gun collection of his own, and sometimes, when the colt was bored, he'd show them to Dusty. He'd explain what they were used for and what caliber they had, their range and size bullet they required. Dusty would listen to him with interest.
He liked sharing his passion with others that would understand. Some folks didn't like him having guns, nor did they agree with him on the subject. But that was alright, not everyone had to agree. Not everyone did. And he was alright with that.
As long as he got to keep doing what he loved, everything was good with him.
A/N: Short and sweet.
