Author's Note:

I am so sorry I have not posted in a while. I got into trouble, and it involves homework. Writing the story may have indirectly caused this trouble, so I could not spare the time to write this. I'm still in trouble, but I'm going to sneak some things to you guys! Also, I have gotten requests to write a Magnus Chase cross-over. Well... the big reveal: I have not read Magnus Chase. I know you're probably thinking like 'OMG! What is your fricking problem?'. I know, it's just, because of COVID and everything, I can't borrow it from the library and my mom won't buy a 3-book series for me. I have read the Kane Chronicles, so I can do one at a request. Another request is for me to write longer stories. I will try that this time though longer stories require much more planning and thought. One final announcement: I am going to start my second PJO/HoO/ToA fanfic! It's going to be about mortals meeting Percabeth. Make sure to keep an eye out for that one soon.

Jake PoV

You probably already know who I am. Captain of the football team and all-around hottie. At least I was until they came along. 'They' are Annabeth Chase, Piper McLean, Hazel Levesque, Thalia Grace, Calypso, and Reyna Avila Ramirez Arellano.

I am dating Chelsea Trisha, head cheerleader. We were the power couple at Goode High with influences throughout all social levels.

Percy Jackson, Jason Grace, Frank Zhang, Leo Valdez, and Nico di Angelo were oblivious to the ideas of social levels and were still good at athletics and popular, but they weren't dating anyone which made them less popular.

Even though I was dating Chelsea, we still had affairs because the relationship was just a cover to spread our popularity and influence. We didn't care about each other.

Anyways, when they came along, Percy and Annabeth along with Jason and Piper became the most popular people.

Chelsea and I have been pushed down a level in the social hierarchy and we were not happy about it.

I have tried seducing Annabeth away from Percy, but that didn't work, so here is our new plan.

We still have power and since they were oblivious to the social hierarchy, we would convince everyone to hate them. They would be dethroned, and then Chelsea and I would rule the school again.

Our friends have been easily convinced already, and the other popular-ish people were joining us.

-Time Skip-

2 weeks have passed and most of the school is on our side. The 'group' is still oblivious as ever, but Annabeth and Piper are getting suspicious.

By spreading rumors and bribing people, a lot of people hate them or at least pretend to.

This may seem so, but the moment we stop bribing people and the truth leaks out, our current status will vanish. The key then is to humiliate them, so the people will recognize our true power!

From the gym teacher, we have heard a camp from Long Island is going to teach us sword fighting. This is the perfect opportunity!

Meanwhile, our group is going to harass them for a bit.

I get out of my car and walk to school. This is going to be a great day.

I walk in and I see the football team arguing with Jackson and Grace.

"Get out of our way you jackasses! We need to get to class you bitches.", complained Percy.

My friend Daniel sneered, "You'll have to get past us yourself, or are you too weak to do that?"

Jason looked really annoyed, "Fuck off!", he growled. He brushed past them. Ryder stuck out his foot to trip him. However, Jason expected this and exerted force onto his foot which caused Ryder to be flown into the air and landed on his ass.

Percy was laughing so hard he didn't notice Daniel's punch coming his way. Daniel's fist connected with his stomach, but he didn't seem fazed by it.

His laughter was gone and so was Jason's. Percy growled, "So you want to fight, huh? Well, I can show you how to fight!"

He swung at Jack's stomach and sent him flying down the hall. Daniel seemed shocked at his attack, but he regained his composure and lunged at Percy.

Percy side-stepped and Daniel's face smashed into the locker.

I decided to get involved in the fight. I crept up behind Jackson, who was knocking down Ryder, and I was about to smack his head when I got kicked back.

I saw Jason there glaring at me then he joined the fight.

In the end, we got all bruised while an unharmed Percy and Jason walked off to class with annoyed expressions on their faces.

This didn't matter though. The real show will come to them and that time, they can't defeat it.

Chelsea PoV

I'm pretty sure Jake introduced me already, so I won't bother with that.

To dethrone Annabeth Chase and Piper McLean, I need a different approach than the one Jake said I should use.

Annabeth and Piper are too athletic for upfront confrontation, no, I have a different approach.

Social Media is the key. If I post something to demonize them, then they will be bowing down to our feet.

I have just the thing to post about them. My plan is to make those two look weird. Or... lesbian.

The lesbians in our school are not popular and many people hate them(AN: This is just what the character thinks, not me. I don't dislike lesbians).

How would I do this? Easy! By using Photoshop.

I snapped a picture of Annabeth kissing Percy and Piper kissing Jason. I adjusted and cropped until it looked like Annabeth was kissing Piper.

Perfect! I thought. I posted it on Facebook, but weirdly, it disappeared. I posted it on Instagram, and it disappeared again. I tried on Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, and they all disappeared.

I confronted Annabeth the next day, "You bitch, did you delete those posts?"

Piper held in her laughter, "No, she just banned your accounts without you knowing you were banned."

"Yeah, it was really easy. I just had a call to those company heads and Piper convinced them to ban your account.", Annabeth laughed.

I was fuming and I stomped away. My plan had failed, but Jake's plan had still succeeded.

Jake PoV

Now is the legendary gym class! It was time to reclaim my throne and glory!

We were sitting on the bleachers when the people came in. There were two girls and 3 boys.

They introduced themselves as Katie, Clarisse, Malcolm, Travis, and Will.

Malcolm was the main coach. He asked, "First, there are demonstrations. Can I have some demonstrators?"

Percy's hand shot up, so mine went up as well.

Malcolm grinned, "Excellent! So we have Perseus Jackson, hero of Camp and", he turned to me, "your name please?"

I was confused that he knew Percy's name and not mine, but I gave him mine anyway.

I took a sword from the rack and I see Percy twirling a sword on his fingers.

I settled into a fighting stance and started to attack Percy. I swung with all my strength at his head.

He dodged and kicked my ass across the floor.

I got up and snarled at him, "Fight me sword to sword to Jackson if you're so good."

He laughed and asked, "Annabeth, how much do you bet I can beat him in 3 seconds?"

"Nah, I'll bet on 4 seconds.", Annabeth laughed, "3 drachmas?"

Percy whined, "But I only have 5 in total now but fine!"

Percy faced me and charged. I swung at him, but he did some disarming maneuver and my sword was knocked clean out of my hands.

Before I could move, his sword was at my throat.

Percy smiled, "Well Wise Girl, hand over the drachmas."

"After school Seaweed Brain", Annabeth replied.

Percy groaned, "Dang it!"

Percy then turned to me, "Ok... so I beat you, can you go now. Bye"

I trudged back into the bleachers, but I have another idea to do.

Malcolm announces, "Okay, we're going to split into groups."

I see Percy and Annabeth high-five each other and get into ready positions.

Percy charges and attacks. Annabeth deflects it and swings at his side. Percy dodges and attacks her head. Annabeth blocks it and tries to disarm him, but Percy draws his sword back and somersaults behind her as Annabeth swings at him again.

This goes on for some time until Annabeth hits Percy on his back.

Annabeth grins, "Well, I'm winning 46 to 45."

Percy rubs his back and whines, "That blow was hard! Do you want to break my ribs again?"

Annabeth asks, "Again? When was the last time."

Percy responds, "Oh, let's see. You pushed me off the climbing wall once and I had to swerve to dodge the lava. Another time you ran over me with the canoe. Another time you rode Guido and got him to kick me."

Annabeth just laughs at this.

I also see Jason and Nico sparring with each other. Jason appears to be winning, but Nico holds his ground.

Piper and Hazel fight each other, but they aren't that intense.

Reyna and Thalia are fighting and shooting at each other. I'm wondering where they got those blows, but whatever.

Frank fights against Malcolm and they are exchanging blows with each other, but I don't see any clear victory.

Leo and Calypso are fighting Travis and Katie respectively. Neither is doing that good with it though.

It's time to get my idea into action. I gather my goons, and we each grab a sword and storm over to Percy.

Percy defeats Annabeth and proclaims, "Actually Wise Girl, it's 47 to 46 now."

He looks over to us, "What do you want Jake? I kicked your ass today. What else do you want?"

I sneer, "Well Jackson, I was thinking we all fight you together?"

Percy scans over us, "Well, there are about 12 people here. Are you sure you don't want more?"

I smirked, "No Percy. I don't."

He taunted, "Well, if you say so...", then he charged us.

I don't know what happened next, but Percy fought like a demon. He slashed and kicked and basically destroyed us.

He took down the first person in front of him. Then someone attacked from behind. He blocked it and knocked the sword out of his hand.

Other people attacked him, but he dodged and knocked out about 5 people in 30 seconds.

I charged, but he knocked me aside easily again.

Later, all 12 of us were bruised and sprawling on the floor.

Percy sighed, "Can you actually just stop attacking me? It's fun and all, but honestly, you guys are bad at this."

Jason came over, "Hey Percy, how come you got all the fun? I missed everything!"

Percy grinned, "Well, it's because I'm better than you at sword fighting."

I struggled to my feet and saw everyone was laughing at me. Well, I guess my popularity plan had not gone quite well into effect.

Percy and Jason walked away laughing.

I just need to try again next time.
