After a long day at school, Stan finally got home. Luckily he hadn't been given too much homework to do, just the science worksheet to fill out and a few math equations to go over. Entering his bedroom, Stan put his book-bag aside and went over to turn on his laptop. In minutes, Stan was starting to relax while checking out what was happening on Facebook. Then he put on his favorite ear-buds and decided to listen to some cool music tunes on Youtube. He was still thinking about yesterday. The day where he and Kenny went to keep an eye on the Church of Starry Wisdom… The church appeared inactive but they knew the cultists were still inside. Nyarlathotep was still a threat.

"I have to do something," Kenny had insisted. But then he lowered his head and didn't quite meet Stan's eyes. "Somehow I accidentally summoned Nyarlathotep when I gazed into the Shining Trapezohedron. I'm the one who introduced this eldritch horror to the town. I might as take some responsibility for it."

Stan gently gripped Kenny both by the shoulders. "Kenny, look at me," he coaxed. Kenny's sky-blue eyes looked into Stan's midnight-blue ones. "This isn't your fault. Nobody's blaming you. It's all good. We'll find a solution to all this."

And what Kenny said next surprised Stan. "But I've already come up with a plan. I think I know what I have to do to get rid of Nyarlathotep. I've been doing some research of my own. There's only one way to chase Nyarlathotep out of South Park for good."

Kenny had been pretty vague on the details but it actually reassured Stan greatly to know that maybe there was hope. Perhaps something could be done to put an end to the cult's evildoings. The key to stopping Nyarlathotep lied in Kenny McCormick. Only Kenny was immune to all the eldritch-horrors and stood a better chance in stopping Nyarlathotep from plunging their town into absolute chaos. Either way, Stan had complete faith in Kenny…

Eventually he got tired of listening to his usual favorite music videos. Stan thought of downloading the game "Ghost Bounty" and try playing it. It was the latest popular Indie game that everyone's been talking a lot about. But first, Stan decided to head to the kitchen and grab something to eat. Going back downstairs, Stan walked passed their nicely decorated Christmas tree and went into the kitchen where he found his mother sitting at the kitchen table and putting together Christmas cards to send to her own family members.

"Hi Stanley," his mom warmly greeted him.

"Hey mom," Stan said back. There he opened the fridge and started to take out a can of Coca Cola and started to grab his favorite jalapeno chips. Stan started to make his way back to his bedroom when something on the TV caught his attention. Stan stopped and realized it was the local news and it was reporting the latest event.

"Just only last night, three men have accidentally trespassed upon the mysterious church in the woods," the reporter was saying. "According to what the police was willing to tell us, it appears these men who were out hunting for deer have been savagely attacked. Only this morning were their bodies discovered buried in the snow."

Stan was shocked. "Mom? Mom! Come here and see this!" Stan shouted. Soon both Stan and his mother were standing around and watching in growing horror as the news continued.

"The names of the three victims have been withheld until further notice," the reporter went on to say. "However all three men were badly disfigured beyond recognition. The police have refused to go into details about how the three men have died. But no doubt their deaths are connected to the ominous church which the public is advised to stay far away from. In other news…"

Stan and his mom exchanged horrified looks. "Oh my god. Those poor men," Sharon said in stunned disbelief. "How many more deaths are there going to be? What can be done about that church?"

"It'll be alright, mom," Stan said reassuringly while thinking of Kenny. "I have a feeling that an unlikely hero will put a stop to all this madness and death. It'll only be a matter of time."

Suddenly at that moment, both Stan and Sharon turned to see Randy coming down the stairs dressed in camouflage pants, his winter-coat, arming himself with a hunting knife, carrying a knapsack, and carrying a walkie-talkie. Needless to say, Randy Marsh wasn't exactly the unlikely hero Stan had in mind. And now the both of them were staring at his dad who took notice of them standing there in the living-room.

"Randy, what's with the getup?" Sharon asked at once.

"Oh hey Sharon. Look uh… I'm going to head out with the guys. Won't be back until dinner-time," Randy said distractedly while checking to make sure he had his flashlight.

"What are you doing? Wait; is that dynamite you're packing?" Sharon noticed Randy packing away red sticks of dynamite into his knapsack. And then it occurred to her. "Randy, you're not seriously thinking of going to that church are you? Are you nuts? Have you even seen the news just now?"

"Yes, I have seen the news," Randy said, turning to her with a determined expression. "We can't let them terrorize us like this, Sharon. Those cultist bastards are picking us off one by one. Somebody has to do something and if the police are too chicken-shit to approach that place, well then I guess we're going to have to do the job ourselves!"

"No dad, don't!" Stan said firmly. He immediately stepped into his dad's way to stop him from leaving. "Believe me; you do not want to get involved in this. The Starry Wisdom cult is not to be fucked with. You'll be dealing with crazy cosmic shit that's beyond human comprehension. You need to stay away for your own sake."

But Randy merely brushed off Stan's warnings. "No. This has gone on long enough. It's time for South Park to take a stand. Me and the guys are all marching ourselves down to that church and we're going to drive them out of town for good. We'll burn their church to the ground if we have to!" A car-horn honked from outside and that was Randy's cue to start heading for the door.

"Randy, don't do this!" Sharon called after him. "What if Stan is right? It could be dangerous! You don't know what you're getting yourself into. You don't have to do this!"

"I'm sorry Sharon," Randy said adamantly. "But we need to defend our town. We can't just sit idly by while innocent townspeople get killed left and right. We'll show this cult that we're not going to be pushed around forever. Trust me; I know what I'm doing!" With that, Randy went out the door and left.

"Dad!" Stan yelled after his dad who got into the car with the other dads. Token's dad, Clyde's dad, Craig's dad, and even Wendy's dad was there. Stan watched worriedly as they all drove away. His dad could be such a stubborn jackass sometimes…

His poor mother continued to look worried as Stan hurried up to his bedroom, grabbed his phone and immediately called Kyle. "Kyle, it's me. We've got ourselves a serious problem here," Stan said the second his best friend picked up. "My dad along with everyone else's dads is planning to head over to the Church of Starry Wisdom. I think they're gonna try to lynch the cultists or something."

"Goddamn it!" Kyle cursed to himself. "So that was why my dad was acting so fishy. He just left here five minutes ago. Have they all gone insane? They can't go to the church. Dude, they didn't see the eldritch horrors that we saw."

"I know," Stan said who was pacing back and forth nervously in his room. "I don't like it. I tried to warn my dad but you know what a total dumbass he can be. This is the last thing we need right now. I don't like the idea of all our dads going to confront the Starry Wisdom cult. We've got to stop them."

"I'll call around. Find out whose dad went with the others to the church," Kyle offered. "In the meantime, we better figure out how we're going to stop our dads from making things worse."

After talking to Kyle, now Stan dialed up Kenny's number.

Down in the poorest part of the neighborhood, Kenny was home and happily helping Karen decorate their Christmas tree which Kevin had brought home as a surprise. As Kenny was hanging up lovely red, green and gold Christmas baubles, the sudden news on the TV caught his attention. There he listened in silent shock as three men have been killed around the Church of Starry Wisdom. Kenny frowned grimly and tried to carry on normally so as much to alarm Karen. It wasn't until he heard his phone ringing from his bedroom. Kenny excused himself and hurried off to answer it.

"Kenny, I've got something to tell you," Stan said urgently over the phone. "All of our dads are going over to the Church of Starry Wisdom. I couldn't stop my own dad from leaving. This is bad. They have no idea what they're all up against."

"What? Are you fucking kidding me?" Kenny said dismayed. "Why the hell would they go and do something so stupid? Ugh, I guess that would explain why I haven't seen my own dad all day."

"What are going to do now?" Stan said in exasperation. "My dad is going to get himself and all the others killed. He's done stupid shit before but this is just plain reckless. Don't they realize it's a fucking Outer God that's not of this dimension?"

Kenny decided that Stan was right. Something needed to be done. "It's okay, Stan. I'll go to the Church of Starry Wisdom myself and see if I can convince them all to stay away. We can't afford anyone else getting hurt or worse killed."

"What? There's no way you're going to that church alone," Stan protested. "Let me come with you."

"No, I'm going," Kenny said sternly. "Three men have already been killed around there. I'm not risking any other lives. And besides, I'll stand a better chance against anything otherworldly. I'm just going to go there to look for my dad and the others."

Stan still didn't like it. But he knew he couldn't talk Kenny out of it. "Alright fine," Stan finally agreed. "But…but if you're not back within an hour, I'm coming for you."

"Ok. Fair enough," Kenny said. After a moment, Kenny also added reassuringly. "I'll be okay, Stan. I don't plan on dying. I can handle myself. I'll bring back all our dads."

"Yeah…I know," Stan said quietly. At first Stan didn't understand what was bothering him so much. But at that moment, he finally realized what it was. "Kenny…about your power…," Stan hesitated. Then went ahead and said what was on his mind. "No matter what happens, promise me you won't lose control. Don't let Nyarlathotep get to you."

So Stan did remember what happened the last time, Kenny thought. Kenny had been feeling afraid lately. Afraid that his powers were taking a bad toll on him and slowly stripping him of his humanity. But thanks to his friends' immense support and encouragement, Kenny was determined to make sure that the evil influences of eldritch-power didn't corrupt him in any way. He was always going to be true to his self. Most of all, he knew Stan would love him no matter what.

As soon as he got off the phone with Stan, Kenny went back to the living-room where he found Karen still happily decorating the Christmas tree. She turned around as Kenny came back and she could tell by the serious scowl that he was wearing that something very serious was happening. "Kenny, what it is?" she asked him.

"I have to go out for awhile," Kenny told her. "Just tell mom I went out with friends again, ok? I'll come home soon." With that, Kenny went back to his bedroom and took out his hidden compartment where he kept his vigilante outfit. And once again, he became the Dark Angel, Mysterion…

You gotta hand it to Randy. It seems these days I have a love/hate relationship with Randy Marsh. While I do like Randy, I liked him best when he was just a background character. He's definitely overrated and not for good reasons. I hate how Randy is overshadowing all the other characters, especially Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny where the show should really be focusing on. I don't hate Randy but I do feel that his constant presence in the show is unnecessary? So yeah, Matt and Trey seriously need to lay off all the Randy mania. Just my opinion though. Thanks for letting me ramble! See you soon!
