It had been four months and Nicole still hadn't heard from Robby. She'd written several more letters and nothing. She figured they just weren't giving them to him. Nicole continued to do karate but on her own. Daniel left her several messages but she wouldn't call him back. She still hung out with Sam but always in public places. After some uncertainty Miguel had now fully recovered from his injures. Nicole and Sam had just come out of the movies.

Sam got a text. "You're kidding?" She said shocked.

"What?"

"They cancelled the all valley."

"Why?"

"It's because of the school fight."

"That sucks."

The next night Nicole was in her room doing homework. Her cell phone started to ring.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi." Sam said happily.

"Hi."

"The all valley is back on."

"That's great."

"Miguel and I convinced the committee to reinstate it."

"That's great." "I'm happy for you."

"Come back to the team." "We need you."

"I'm sorry I can't."

Unbeknownst to Nicole at that same time there was a knock at the front door. Tammy answered it. It was Robby.

"Hi Mrs. Warrener." Robby said. "Is Nicole home?"

"She's sleeping." "I would appreciate it if you didn't come to this house anymore." She shut the door.

Kreese was in the Cobra Kai dojo. He was now the owner. He'd went behind Johnny's back and stolen it.

He heard the door open.

"Sensei Kreese." Robby said.

He turned around. "Hi Robby."

"Listen, I have nowhere to go." "Can I crash here tonight?"

"You can stay as long you need to."

They were in the office.

"Something on your mind?" Kreese asked.

"I'm just thinking about my girlfriend." "I haven't seen her in months." "I just tried to go see her." "Her mom kicked me out." "I don't know why they care." "They don't care about her." "They treat her like shit." "We're all each other has."

"Does she do karate also?"

"Yes." "That's how we got close."

"What's her name?"

"Nicole."

"Do you love her?"

"Very much."

"Does she work?"

"Yeah, at Pizza-Rama."

"I know that place."

The following night Nicole had just gotten back from making her last delivery.

"Some guy was in here looking for you today Nicole." Her co-worker said. "He left you this note." She handed her a napkin. It read.

Come to the Cobra Kai dojo after work. We come in peace. – A Friend

She was very confused.

It nine o'clock she pulled into the strip mall where Cobra Kai was. It looked closed. As she got out of the car she was on high alert. She went inside and saw a man she didn't know. He looked at her.

"Nicole Strafford?"

"Yeah."

He looked to the back. "Robby, come here."

Robby came out of the back. His jaw dropped when he saw Nicole. "Nicole." He said shocked.

"Robby." Nicole said happily.

"I'm going home for the night." Kreese said. He left.

Nicole and Robby went up to each other and hugged.

"I tried to come see you." Robby said. "Your mom wouldn't let me." "Sorry I never wrote back." "I was being bullied." "I ended up getting them back."

"I just can't believe I'm talking to you." "I missed you so much."

"I missed you to." They kissed. Slowly it became more passionate. She broke it.

"Damn it, we can't honey." "I'm on my um…

"It's ok, we don't have to."

They sat on the mat. He told her all about who Kreese was. How he owned Cobra Kai now and was letting Robby stay at the dojo.

"How do his students feel about that?" She asked.

"They just have to deal with it." "My dad was supposed to come visit me in juvy, he didn't show up." "I came to find out later that he was at the hospital with Miguel that day." "Choosing him over me, again." He looked away from her and sniffled.

"Aw Robby, don't cry."

"I'm not crying, I just have something in my eye." He looked at her. "I don't need him, I just need you."

"You'll always have me." "I'll never leave you, I promise." "I love you."

"I love you too." They kissed.
