-The day of I day came (Invasion Day) and Carter was ready to push and so was his squadron and so the time came and Carter was the first to make it to the line and just as expected patrols were waiting for them and flak from automated anti-air was firing at him but he knew that soon after when the air-air bombardment stopped the mobile suits would come and his nemesis would be with them-
Carter: All units, charge!
-Carter flew straight in with his squadron of Braves on his heels and just as he thought the AAA bombardment stopped and 3 ReZEL Mk.2s appeared but his nemesis wasn't among them-
Carter: Out of my way!
ReZEL Pilot: Over my dead body punk!
Carter: If I'm as low as a punk what does that make you!?
-Carter cuts the ReZEL in half with his beam saber and the explosion destroys everything in its wake-
Carter: Now for the other 2.
-Carter looked over but he saw they were taken care of and Carter's squadron the 325th air group continued the charge and he checked his radar and just as suspected, Liz and the Vikings were making progress on his left and right flanks, the following was a supply and weapons convoy carried by Hellions purposely because of the fact that they don't run on GN drives or solar energy and have a much higher carry capacity than a brave and they moved on and they meet hard y resistance but Carter's nemesis wouldn't come-
Carter: Don't wuss out on me Townsend...
Liz: I don't mind not running into him, last time you two fought you had him out fought so I wouldn't be surprised if he did decide to get a different unit.
-They cut deep into enemy territory to capture an enemy airbase, moving towards the HQ which was set in the Cold Winter areas of Russia and there they would fight for 7 more days and they would fight for as long as possible before the final push-
Carter: Brave team keep an eye out for enemies in hiding Liz you too, Vikings with me.
-They go inside and they find some resistance and they fought hard with their rifles and combat suits and they fought as hard as possible and they finally took the all down using rifle rounds and grenades, 2 of them were still alive and were patched up and held prisoner both had been shot and survived-
Carter: Good a command center, barracks and the hangars are underground so it can't be destroyed easily. I'll manage the controls, Jerome would you mind guiding all of the Mobil suits to the bay doors, they are here on the map.
Jerome: Roger.
-Carter activates the bay doors and the platform meets the mobile suit and he moves the mobile suit down and all the units were parked in the hangar bay-
Carter: All units stand by, General Hue arriving on base.
-All units line up and salute and the Generals Brave lands and he gets out and has his unit parked in the hangar-
Carter: What is our first move general?
Gen. Hue: First lets find their patrols then we will launch offensive after offensive, destroying the enemy bases and their patrols, carving a path. Viking Team, Brave Squadrons and Commando Squadron we will do this and I expect NO casualties on our side, and no civilian casualties either, understood? Good.
-They remained on patrol and at night an explosion woke the entire base, the enemy was firing a wave of rockets at the base to destroy the base, but they were probing waiting for a reaction and the General gave the order to attack and so Carter, Liz, Jerome and Frank deploy and Liz and Frank stay at the base and wait for enemies to appear so they can snipe them out of the air and Jerome goes to the north side of the base and Carter the south side, and as expected the enemy came, RX-96c units came from the country side and there was at least a whole battalion of them and the base was bombarded with cannon, laser and rocket fire-
Carter: They are far off, we need to advance, I'm charging.
Jerome: Wait what? Get back here!
-Carter takes out his beam lance and he has his binders Fire the beam rifle and 100mm machine gun he targets them one by one and he destroys two RX-96c units with that fire straight ahead and he uses his lance like a spear and threw it in which it penetrated the enemy mobile suit and he draws his beam saber and he continues firing his binder weapons and he destroys one and another dodges his attacks and charges with a beam saber in which they stand off and grapple and he drops under the enemy's arm and slices it off and the Jesta fires his beam cannon at Carter and he blocks it and from behind another unit attacks and the binder saves him by hitting the enemy straight on and knocking the jesta cannon back in which he charges the one who he was busy with in which that on stumbles backward and freezes in which Carter stabs the Jest Cannon and then switches to the one who attacked him in which he picks up his allies beam saber now with that unit now wielding two swords Carter drops his shield from his arm and takes out his physical sword in which they charge each other and it doesn't go anywhere, another 2 attack Carter at the same time and Carter cannot counter in time and just in time he is saved by Liz who fires two shots killing them both and then 5 more close in on him-
Carter: Dammit I'm surrounded, Trans-Am!
-Carter gets away and he then charges fighting as hard as possible and he had incurred the attention of the whole battalion on him he fired his binder weapons and he charged enemies slicing them in half and cutting off limbs from their mobile suits and he keeps going and then he starts to bleed from his nose...-
Carter: The Alaya-Vijnyana finally caught up huh? That means I have very little time left then!
-Carter continues the charge and he finds the commander unit an RX-96c commander type and he charges it, two more jestas get in the way and the cuts them down with ease but the commander types was no slouch, the Jesta Commander Type dodged and kicked Carter's mobile suit making him tip over-
Carter: 30 seconds left. I just need to get rid of him and then they will retreat.
-Carter takes a defensive stance and the Jesta picks up Carter's disposed shield and draws his beam saber and they duel, Carter knew the shields weakness was in the center if he stabbed straight through the torso would be fried-
Carter: That's right come to papa...hrng.
-Carter almost passes out and he wavers and the Jesta commander type moves in for the kill in which Carter counters by having the binder shoot the beam saber on his sword hand and so he pushes his beam saber in a thrusting form and it takes every bit of his strength to stay awake but he does as planned the sword in his main hand was destroyed and he stabbed through the shield in which hit cut the sight through and killed the enemy commander in which the attacking group retreats with only 1/3 of the forces they had on hand-
Carter: I'm not done ye...
-Carter passes out and the AI collects all of the 1.5 gundams undamaged weapons and returns to base in which Corvus takes the mobile suit to the hangar and about 3 hours later he wakes up-
Carter: I guess I can't handle that much data moving that quickly...ouch!
-Carter feels the pain in his back flair up and Corvus carefully disconnects Carter from the mobile suit and he looks down to see Liz sleeping on his lap waiting for him to wake up, he checks his operation watch and its 11:29 pm Carter wakes up Liz in which she gets off of him after berating him for doing something as reckless as he did and she was crying...something he thought he wouldn't see from someone with a straight face all the time, even when she is scared nothing about her changes in her face-
Carter: I better get to the medical room...losing as much blood as I did probably will hinder my ability to operate.
Liz: Oh no you don't!
-Liz catches him as he is about to collapse and they walk to the infirmary where the doctor is fast asleep and Liz wakes the doctor-
Doc: Oh shoot sorry, wasn't supposed to do that, uh what's his injury?
Liz: Lost a lot of blood, Alaya Vijnyana almost killed him.
Doc: Ok so a check on all his vital organs and blood vessels and a transfusion ok...
-Carter lies down on one of the beds and a machine scans him for any internal damage and nothing comes up-
Doc: Alright so I need you to stay here for tonight and half of tomorrow, we need to make sure you have enough blood in you system to be able to walk, and do your job so until I say you are confined to that bed, understand me young man?
Carter: Fine but if-
Doc: No ifs ands or buts understood?
Carter: Fine.
-Carter lies there and falls asleep he sleeps the day off from how fatigued he is and by the time he had woken up people already knew why he passed out and the fact that he took on a whole battalion alone...like the sheep or rather the wolf that stands out...almost like he had become an alpha everyone knew about it and it eventually reached the ears of the General who wanted to see the combat footage as well as the recorded footage from inside the mobile suit. The General knew then that he had an implant that pushed him Carter his limits after the Trans-Am system was activated all that was left now...was what he would report to the GHQ back in Neo-Britain which would eventually make its way to King Bauduin. No one knows that the outcome will be and it's a held out hope by everyone that he isn't reprimanded and demoted for it...-
