Chapter 12:

In the morning I met Percy, Annabeth, Chiron, and a redhead girl in the room with the pingpong table. When I walked in there seemed to be a silent argument going on between Annabeth, Percy, and the new girl. Though when they noticed me they stopped.

I looked around the room and the first thing I noticed was how terrible Annabeth looked. Underneath her eyes were dark circles telling me that she probably hadn't slept last night. Her blond hair looked like she had rushed brushing her hair this morning, and her orange Camp Half-Blood shirt was wrinkled and looked like it had been thrown on hastily. I decided not to mention anything because she looked like she was going to slice either the redhead girl's head off or Percy's.

"So good morning everyone!" I said when I walked in, "I don't know about you guys but I slept absolutely terrible!" None of them found that funny.

"Finally, we can start correct?" the redhead girl asked.

"Yes, Rachel," Chiron said with a nod.

"I have a new prophecy. I was blessed with a vision last night and I believe it is the newest Great Prophecy." Rachel stated, "I also believe it has something to do with Mya, the new Hermes' boy, and their friend that is unclaimed."

"Sorry to interrupt but does it possibly go like, When Rome's in ruins, the gods shall lose two sons. The price of their greed, shall spark a hero's need. They will fall, and lose it all?" I asked. I looked around the room and everyone's face was filled with shock.

"Mya, when did you learn Greek?" Annabeth asked me.

"I'm sorry what?" I was confused. I hadn't learned Greek. I could barely speak English so there was no way I could speak in Greek.

"You said, 'Όταν η Ρώμη είναι ερειπωμένη, οι θεοί θα χάσουν δύο γιους. Η τιμή της απληστίας τους, θα πυροδοτήσει την ανάγκη ενός ήρωα. Θα πέσουν και θα τα χάσουν όλα.' (A rough translation of the prophecy) Which means, 'When Rome's in ruins, the gods shall lose two sons. The price of their greed, shall spark a hero's need. They will fall, and lose it all.'" Annabeth told me.

I stared at her. There was no way I just spoke in another language. I had told them exactly what whatever took over Luke had said.

"Child, where did you hear this prophecy?" Chiron asked sadly.

I explained what I had seen in my dream the night before. Including everything even mentioning Luke and what he had said to me at the end of my dream. Chiron looked at the floor while I spoke and he muttered things to himself softly.

"Have you… have you had these dreams with Luke before? Like where you actually have spoken to him?" Annabeth asked me with a sad look on her face.

"Yes." I softly responded.

She turned toward Chiron and spoke with complete calmness in her voice, "They need a quest. I'm not sure for what but I'm sure Rachel will have another prophecy soon enough!"

"First, let's explain everything to Liam and Dylan considering that Rachel said they're apart of this Great Prophecy," Chiron said, "Mya will you go get them for us?" I nodded and headed off toward the Hermes cabin.

It was early in the morning and the valley was gorgeous. Dew sprinkled the grass and if the golden sunlight glinted off of it just right the grass would turn a vibrant green. Off to the distance, I could see Long Island Sound glimmering in the sun. Everything was… calm.

I reached the cabins and could hear the Hermes cabin from at least four cabins away. It made sense because twenty people were crammed inside. As I walked up the porch and went to knock on the door it swung open.

"There's the girl that's too good for us!" Jack yelled so the whole cabin could hear. I couldn't help but smile.

"Hi, Jack. Sorry to bother you guys but Chiron needs Dylan and Liam." I told him. A grim look spread across his face as if he could suspect something was up.

"Yeah of course." he responded, "Yo, Dylan, Liam, you're needed at the Big House!" I could see shuffling in the back corner and knew it was probably the two of them trying to navigate the war zone of a cabin.

They both saw me at the door and a smile spread across their faces.

"Hey, Mya," Dylan said to me. Liam decided not to speak but he greeted me with a warm smile.

"No time to talk let's go," I told them both and sprinted across the field towards the Big House.

We reached the room where I had left Chiron, Percy, Annabeth, and Rachel. This time the room was not silent instead there seemed to be a heated argument between just Annabeth and Rachel. Percy and Chiron had navigated themselves as far as they could from the two girls but watched the fighting closely as if they might have to step in at any moment. Chiron noticed our arrival and cleared his throat to inform the girls that we had made it and the fighting stopped, but the tension continued to hang in the air.

"Dylan and Liam I'm sure you're confused why I have summoned you here," Chiron mentioned.

"Not not really actually." Liam said, "There's a new Great Prophecy and we're part of it aren't we?"

"Yes, but how?" Chiron sputtered.

"Both of us had a dream last night," Dylan spoke proudly.

"Would either of you care to explain what you saw?" Rachel asked.

Both of them looked at the floor after she asked that. Something bothered them in their dreams. I would have to ask Dylan about it later.

"Well, that only proves my point." Annabeth snarled and looked at Rachel, "They need a quest."

"Annabeth, you know I can't just force a prophecy." Rachel sighed.

"Rachel, Annabeth enough! You've been at each other's throats all morning!" Percy shouted at both of them, "You both need to accept that you're both right!"

Suddenly, the room chilled. A green mist spread across the floor. Rachel stood up and stared at Dylan, Liam, and I. She gasped as if she had been underwater for a long time and was just coming up for air.

Annabeth jumped up from her side and rushed towards Percy. She began to whisper in his ear and he nodded in agreement.

Then Rachel began to speak,

"There will come a soldier who carries a mighty sword,

they will tear your city down.

There will come a hero who's weakness is their future,

they will fail to save themself.

There come a god who faces a threat twice,

they will blame themself for the war.

There come a hero who's resistance will be said to be pointless,

they will determine the future of the war."

Rachel collapsed. Percy was able to get to her side while she was saying while she spoke her prophecy. Then Rachel gasped for a second time and the temperature of the room returned to normal and the green mist faded.

"Rachel? I've never heard you speak a prophecy like that before. I was almost like you… sung it" Percy told her.

"It didn't feel like the spirit of Delphi that was controlling me for that prophecy. I felt more ancient." Rachel announced.

"I'm not sure that's exactly a prophecy for a quest but I'm sure it will make more sense if these three go and search for anyone that was mentioned in the prophecy," Chiron said, "First, you shall travel to New Rome and see if they have any further information about either of the two prophecies."

Fairyn- Thank you for both of your reviews they mean a lot!

Thank you for reading! I'm sorry it was a bit of a shorter chapter I just wasn't sure how I wanted to fill in some of the missing places I have in my notes for this story. I also used the song Soldier, Poet, King for inspiration for the second prophecy so please go check that song out. I'm also sorry if there are grammar or spelling mistakes in this chapter I had a swim meet all weekend long and after swimming the 500 and mile I'm really tired. Thank you for well over 300 readers, and please review!
