Best Laid Plans-Ch 14
The next morning Derek woke up and smiled as he looked into the loving eyes of his baby girl, he reached over and intertwined their fingers and said, "good morning beautiful". She bit down on her bottom lip and said, "I'll show you a good morning hotstuff", she then shrugged and said, "wellllll after I heal up that is".
Derek brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it and said, "I love you", she cleared her throat and hoarsely said, "and I love you". Their attention then turned to the door as Fran and the girls walked into the room with coffee and breakfast.
Sarah said, "we know how much you two love hospital food" and Derek said, "oh yeah we can't live without it can we sweetness"?, Penelope said, "absolutely not" and everybody laughed. Fran handed Penelope a chocolate muffin and said, "here you go honey".
Desi handed Derek a chocolate covered donut and he took a bite and said, "ohhhh that is delicious, thanks ladies" and Fran said, "any time baby boy, any time" as then sat down and watched as Derek and Penelope enjoyed their breakfast.
A few minutes later Derek said, "where are the others"?, Fran said, "they are all at the BAU, they are trying to find some clues on who might have killed the man that hit the two of you with his car", Derek nodded his head sighed as he took another sip of coffee.
Desi looked at Penelope and said, "so how are you feeling this morning"?, Penelope said, "sore and hurting but thankful, very very thankful to be alive". Derek said, "I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't made it sweetness".
She gently squeezed his hand and said, "I'm here handsome, I'm here and I'm not going anywhere, you're stuck with me". Derek grinned and said, "you're the one that's stuck with me baby girl, you're stuck with me forever and ever and ever" causing Fran to look at the couple and smile and shake her head.
Across town Savannah is standing in front of her full body mirror, she smiles as Kevin says, "you look beautiful, you're practically glowing". Savannahs hand slides down to rub her baby bump and she says, "well they say that expectant mothers glow sooooo I'll take it".
Kevin said, "so what's the plan for today"?, Savannah looked at her watch and said, "ohhhh today Derek and his precious team are going to find out that I am pregnant". He laughed and said, "so in other words it's gonna hit the fan"?, Savannah turned to look at him and said, "ohhh it's definitley going to hit the fan lover, definitely".
Savannah walked over and sat down on the bed and said, "sooo what's on your agenda for today Kev"?, Kevin shrugged and said, "well that depends on how things go with you I guess". Savannah said, "don't worry about me sweetie, me and DJ are going to be just fine".
Kevin said, "DJ"?, Savannah said, "ohhhh I'm going to milk this one Kev, by the time I'm done with Derek Morgan me and his son are going to be right where we belong, together". Kevin nodded his head and said, "so our plan is still on schedule, right"?, Savannah nodded her head and said, "right and with Scott out of our hair we don't have anything to worry about".
She then stood up and said, "well I'm starving, care to join me in the kitchen for some breakfast"?, Kevin said, "sounds good Vannah, sounds good" as he followed her out of the room and followed her toward the staircase that led to the kitchen.
