Jackson flew back to Stanford so that he would at least be there early. His day was going to be a busy one with meetings and getting the final reports from everyone at the end of the day. Maggie`s day was also a hectic one, she had Good morning Seattle as well as Mr Collins`. She was dressed formal in a blue suit getting finishing touches on her make up when her phone rang.

"Can I please have the room?" she politely asked the people before answering the face time

"Hey you" Maggie answered "you in the office already?"

"Hey beautiful" he answered taking a seat in his office "yeah landed and came straight here, wow you look stunning, love that suit"

"Thank you" she said blushing a little "it`s TV so you know, it`s not about what I say but mostly how I look"

"How are you feeling? Are you nervous?"

"Well, I did my makeup, twice actually and they still had to wipe it off and now I am still doing the final touches so yeah, I am great" she said giving him a thumbs up

"Hey, you will do great, I know it`s live television but you got this okay"

"Okay" she said giving him a smile

"Dr Pierce, they are almost ready for you so we got to get going" someone said peeping through the door.

"Well it's show time" Maggie said getting up to go to the set

"Hey" she stopped and looked at him. He gave her a warm smile and said "you look stunning, I love you, now go do your thing, you will be fine"

"Thanks babe, I love you too, will let you know after how it goes" she said crossing her fingers ending the call. After talking with Jackson Maggie felt her nerves calming. She breezed like a pro through the interview. They asked questions about how she found her biological parents to how she got into cardio as well as her love for medicine. The host was respectful not to ask many questions about her engagement, she was also grateful because she didn't want it to overshadow the whole purpose of the interview which was medicine. After finishing the interview she couldn't help but notice Parker holding on to some papers and a tablet giving her signals that she was needed. She then thanked the host and everyone who was there making her way to Parker`s direction.

Parker immediately handed her the test results she had ordered for Mr Collins.

"This is not good" Maggie said as they both rushed towards the attendings lounge so Maggie could get changed. She paged Collins to her dad`s room and notified them that he had severe defects in blood flow to his heart during stress, which suggested major occlusions or blockages. His coronary arteries were almost completely clogged shut leaving him at high risk for a heart attack. He was in very grave danger so Maggie recommended a cardiac catheterization. She needed to go in, open the arteries right away. Collins and her dad were both shocked because he had never presented with a heart disease, they both gave Maggie the go ahead to do whatever she needed to do. Maggie finished her surgery after lunch time, there were minor complications but it was nothing she couldn't deal with. Collins thanked her for everything; she took her phone out and saw her screen showing missed calls from Jackson. She called him back but couldn't get hold of him. She made her way to the attending lounge where she found Richard reading a magazine.

"Wow, never took you for a magazine type, newspaper yeah" she said going to pour herself some coffee "by the way, I hope you and Catherine haven't announced our wedding date yet because I haven't told my sisters. Mer is out today and Amelia is still in Baltimore"

"No we haven`t, have you seen who is on the cover?"

"Actually no, haven't had time to check it out, who is it?" Maggie asked squinting her eyes "oh my god, I hadn't seen it yet, spoke to him earlier and he didn't even mention it" she said walking towards Richard.

"Well, you were freaking out about your interview, which you did great by the way so he probably thought it could wait"

"Oh my word this is huge" Maggie said putting her coffee on the table, she grabbed the magazine from his hand flipping through it "this is incredible, wow"

"You can go get your copy from Bailey because this one is mine" Richard said taking it back

"Oh sorry" Maggie said letting out a little chuckle making her way to Bailey`s office.

"You are leaving your co..." Richard said but Maggie couldn't hear the rest of his statement as she scurried to Bailey`s office.

Stanford late afternoon

Jackson had been trying to get hold of Maggie all day and the two kept missing each other. He had ended up calling Bailey who told her that Maggie was called in another surgery but she was going to be done soon.

"Okay Bailey, please let her call my office number if she doesn't get hold of my cell, I have my last important meeting in less than 30 minutes and I need to talk to her"

"Listen Avery, I am not a baby sitter but if I see her I will let her know"

"Thanx chief" he said hanging up his phone once again tossing it on his desk.

He was now busy getting ready for his last meeting with his team. He had just put his phone down after the receptionist let him know there was a Dr Thomas that needed to have a word with him urgently. He checked his watch only to see he had about 25 minutes to his next last meeting. He heard a slight knock on his door
"Please come on in" Jackson said without looking at the person knocking, he was standing behind his desk looking over some document in his hand "I have a meeting in about 20 minutes and I don`t mean to be rude but as I told Mary..."

"Hi Dr Avery" Maggie said cutting him off, she stood with her legs slightly crossed leaning on the door frame with her side. Jackson lifted his eyes when he heard her voice. His face lit up and immediately placed his papers down in disbelief; he rested his hands on his waist exhaling out loud a little.

"What are you doing here?" he asked while Maggie took a look at the picture on the cover of the magazine on her hand and then looking at him, she scrunched her face a little "it is Dr Avery, am I right?" he couldn't help but smile at her and said "As a matter of fact it is, babe what is..."

"Shhh" Maggie said putting her index finger on her mouth, she slowly closed the door, locked it and then walked slowly towards him. His eyes followed her every step as she walked around the desk, she stopped right beside him and they stood side by side while facing opposite directions.

He tilted his head to get a good look of her face and she just smiled at him saying "you actually look so much better in person, I am impressed" he couldn't help but crack a smile at her compliment, she put the magazine and her bag on his desk, he wasn't sure what was happening but he loved every minute of it. He wanted to grab her that very moment but he restrained himself. The room was silent and one could hear the sexual tension especially from Jackson, their eyes connected but no words were said, she took his hand and proceeded to squeeze her tiny self between him and his desk, he took a step back pushing the chair a little back to make room for her. She stood on her tippy toes reaching out for his lips while her hands unbuckled his pants pushing them down. He also wasted no time and started to undo her pants to which Maggie held his hand to stop him, she broke off from the kiss leaving him hanging, looked him in the eye and slightly shook her head. Jackson was a little puzzled at her actions, before he could say a word Maggie pushed him to sit on the chair with his pants already down. She slowly spun the chair around so his back was to the door; she walked around and stood in between his bare thighs and kissed the top of his head. He held on to her and said "babe I have like 15 mins max before my meeting" Maggie knelt down while keeping her eyes on his, she smirked and said "good because I only need about 5" which made Jackson to slightly roll his eyes.

She began to unbutton the lower parts of his shirt lifting it a little; she started planting kisses from his navel down to his waist. She proceeded to his inner thighs slightly licking them before heading to the sweet spot. She could see that he was already hard so she teased him by taking him in his mouth just for a split second while her other hand gave the two guys down below a courtesy squeeze. Jackson moaned out loud at her teasing. She placed her hand on his length stroking it softly which made him to moan even more, she got up and whispered in his ear "can you keep it down" Jackson heard her but he sure wasn't listening because her hand was doing some wonders down there. She knelt down once again placing the kisses all around his length, she then took him fully in his mouth, he was trying to not make any sounds but his attempts were futile. He held on to the sides of the chair as he lost control of himself. "Fuck... oh shit...Maggie" were the words that he could utter. Maggie took him out slowly to catch her breath with her tongue playing with his tip and that made him go nuts "Oh shit...babe...Maggie...fuck...what are you... doing to me...fuck" Maggie enjoyed hearing him call her name because it meant she was sure doing a great job. Jackson squirmed as Maggie continued to do her thing; he dug his hands in her curls which made Maggie to look up at him for a hot second. She then kept eye contact as he took him in one more time. This time he had no choice but to let out a loud moan that probably was heard from outside. He was almost there and she was enjoying watching him lose all the control. She intensified her movements keeping her eyes on him, he was doing everything from biting his lips, squirming, clasping his hands on the sides of the chair. Maggie felt his whole body shake and before he knew it he had released all of him on her. She wiped her mouth with a little napkin that she had in her pocket, she stood up and placed a kiss on the top of his head as he sat there helpless. She then lifted his chin to come face to face with her and said "You know, doctors don`t make magazine covers, Dr Avery you're like a rock star of the clinical variety"

"Well, Mer did..." she gave him the shh sign again stepping away from him, she grabbed her bag and walked towards the door to open it. She turned to look at him with a smile on her face and said "good luck with your meeting Dr Avery, I believe you have about five minutes to get yourself together" he shook his head still trying to wrap his head around what had just happened. Maggie gave a wink and closed the door leaving him to get ready.

Maggie was now at the reception talking to Mary when someone called from down the hall, which made Jackson to peep through his office door down the hall.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the genius Maggie! Maggie Pierce!"

"Oh my god! Luke! Hi" Maggie said as the two practically ran towards each other embracing in a hug

"Hi, what are you doing here?" he said as they broke off the hug but still holding Maggie`s hand, he looked at her for a minute from top to bottom and then said "wow, you look terrific"

"Thank you, I am just here to see someone, what about you?" Maggie said removing her hand from his.

"I am kind of working here for now, flew in from Brazil, I am working on this ground breaking project"

"Wait, are you working with Dr Avery" Maggie said seeing Jackson walking towards them behind Luke.

"Yah, well more like working for him, the dude shipped me to Brazil, been there for a couple of months"

"Oh wow, he sounds like a piece of work" Maggie said jokingly "don`t tell anyone but I hear he is an arrogant one"

"Well, sounds about right...oh my god, look at you" he said checking her once again

"Hello there Owens" Jackson said startling Luke. He wrapped his arms around Maggie, placed a little kiss on her forehead "hey beautiful" which made Maggie smile because she could sense that Jackson was getting a little jealous

"Wait, are you two together?" Luke asked in disbelief watching the two

"Well" Maggie said with her shoulders shrugged placing her palm on Jackson`s chest looking up at him "we are engaged"

"Wow, congratulations to you both and I am so happy for you" he said extending his arm to Jackson who reluctantly shook it.

"So how do you two know each other again?" Jackson asked with a scowled face expressing a little distaste and all that was amusing to Maggie. He knew Jackson was the jealous type but she hadn't really paid attention to it

"I know her from Boston, you know, her hometown, we – we actually used to work together that`s all" Luke said fumbling with his words.

"And you used to date my cousin" Maggie added while Jackson gave her a questioning look which made her to nod her head saying "yes Lisa"

"Really?" Jackson asked raising his eyebrow looking at Luke this time

"Yeah, small world hey, she was technically my boss and I used to date her cousin" he said scratching his head a little "I was actually headed for the meeting, it was nice to see you again Maggie, I would love to invite you to the meeting but it`s not my call" he said looking at Jackson

"Well, don`t let me keep you then" Maggie said

"Dr Pierce is actually going to be joining us" Jackson said "she will be our fresh eyes and ears today, I know plastics is not her thing but we could use a fresh brilliant mind today" he said looking at Maggie who was just speechless.

"Awesome" Luke said as he walked away

"Jealous much" Maggie said turning to face Jackson who had his eyes on Luke as he slowly disappeared.

"I don`t know what you are talking about, so are we going to talk about what happened in my office"

"I don`t know what you are talking about because I just got here" Maggie said with a little smirk

"You are evil" he whispered placing a kiss on her forehead "let me grab things" he dashed off before she could even say something, she heard her phone ding and it was a text from Meredith.

Mer: Jackson has been nominated for the Catherine Fox award so I thought you would like to be the one to tell him.

Maggie smiled at the message looking at Jackson who was coming back.

"What you smiling about?" Jackson said placing his hand over her shoulder as they walked towards the bedroom

"Nothing" Maggie said shyly "hey, can I use your phone; I need to call Mer and mine just died. I need to let her know I will be flying back with you tomorrow. I forgot I promised to take Bailey out tomorrow so since I am in this meeting I don`t know if I will be able to get a late flight"

"That`s okay, tell you what, we will both fly home after the meeting because I don`t think I need to be here after this one so, this might end at around 6 and we could be in Seattle by 8 and you will be able to go with Bailey"

"Are you sure?" Maggie asked looking up at him

"Yeah, yeah just call my mum to organise the plane for us after you talk with Mer" he said handing her his phone making his way to the board room where everyone was now waiting. Maggie went ahead to call both Meredith and Catherine before joining in on the meeting as well. Jackson introduced her as the brilliant cardio surgeon and how she was going to be the fresh set of eyes and brains for the meeting. She sat there as she listened to different doctors reporting on how they had been working in different countries from Brazil, Chile, France, Spain, Portugal , South Africa to name a few. She was impressed by the work they had accomplished but she could clearly see that Brazil had the best report. She was taking down the notes for each presentation upon Jackson `s request so that she would give him her overview opinion. She knew Jackson was working hard at this but sitting there watching him in his element and being a boss was definitely something and it was a turn on for her. She looked at how serious he was, this was the same guy who was squirming and screaming her name in his office a few minutes ago. She smiled trying to picture him about a few minutes ago and how different he was in the meeting. She shook her head a little to concentrate on the meeting. The guy was now a Catherine Fox nominated surgeon and she knew that he deserved it with all the work he was doing, she listened at how relaxed and comfortable he was being in charge of it all. How he asked questions to his team and how he expressed his expectations from all of them. It was something that came so naturally with him, he was born for this, after all he was an Avery, he started sitting in board meetings at the tender age of sixteen and hell he was the chairman of the Grey Sloan board so such things were a piece of cake for him. The meeting was amazing and they managed to finish on time so they could make their way back to Seattle.
