A Very Morgan Christmas-Ch 16

Penelope raised up as another contraction hit and Fran said, "alright honey pushhhhhhhh" and Penelope did just that and she continued until Fran told her to relax. Derek wiped her forehead and said, "you're doing so good baby girl, so good".

Reid was getting everything ready for when after the baby was born while Fran was helping Penelope with the delivery of the baby. JJ ran into the room with the water and placed it on the dresser, she then kissed her husband and said, "we love you Garcie".

Penelope looked up tiredly at her friend and said, "I love you guys too", Emily said, "we're going to go out and give you some privacy, we'll be downstairs". Derek said, "why don't you guys go ahead and let the boys open their gifts, it's not fair to make them wait".

JJ said, "are you sure"?., Penelope smiled and said, "we're sure, ho ahead and celebrate", she then looked at Reid and said, "you can go with them if you want to boy wonder". Reid smiled and said, "I'm going to stay right where I am, I want to be here to help you, I love you Garcia, you're the sister I never had growing up, please let me stay".

Tears streamed down her cheeks and she said, "of course you can stay Reid, I just didn't want to keep you away from Henry on Christmas". Reid smiled at her and said, "you're my family too Garcia and Henry understands that I'm needed in here, so stop worrying about us and concentrate on your new little one", Penelope nodded her head yes in agreement as yet another contraction rocked her already exhausted body.

Meanwhile, downstairs the rest of the family watches happily as Jack and Henry start ripping open their numerous packages. As the sounds of "ohhhhh wow" and "yesssssss, thank you" fills the air JJ and Emily smile halfheartedly as their thoughts are upstairs with the others.

Dave looks at Hotch and says, "I can't believe that today we're finally getting a new member to our family, I can't wait to see if it's a girl or boy", Sarah, Desi and JJ in unison said, "it's going to be a girl" while the others in unison say, "it's going to be a boy".Fran said, "the only thing that really matters is that both Penelope and the baby are healthy", Dave said, "so true Bella, so true". JJ sighed and said ,"I can't believe that she was in labor all day yesterday and wouldn't tell us".

Sarah said, "I can believe it, she was afraid that if she told us that it would cause trouble, especially since we just got up here". Desi said, "that's silly, she's not any trouble, she's our sister, we love her and would do anything for her and the baby".

Dave said, "she knows that Desi, it's just kitten is always worried about everybody else, everybody but herself and her needs", Hotch nodded his head and said, "she's always been that way, she has one of the biggest and loving hearts I've ever seen".
Desi said, "and my big brother loves her with all of his heart, I've never seen him like this, not ever", Dave said, "Derek has always loved her, it just took them a long time to finally pull their heads out of their butts and get things going in the right direction".

Upstairs Penelope collapses against the pillow and says, "how much longer, how much longer"?, Fran smiled as Derek wiped his wifes forehead and she said, "don't worry honey you're almost there". Penelope looked at Derek and said, "I can't do this, I can't do this".

Derek said, "yes you can sweetness, in a few minutes you'll be holding our little girl or boy so I know that you can do this". She blew out a deep breath and said, "I love you", he winked at her and said, "I love you more", she laughed and said, "not possibleeeeeeeeee" as the final contraction hit and her screams filled the air.

Everything in the house was silent for a few seconds before the cries of baby Morgan filled the air
