About sixty elves stood on top of a balcony in a building that pointed straight towards where the sleigh was, and they blared a majestic fanfare through long trumpets. The many other elves on the ground started cheering as eight reindeer started jumping toward the sleigh, each being weighed down by groups of six elves.
"It's the spirit of the season! You can feel it in the air! You can hear it if you listen! Everywhere! So much care! Like a prayer! Whatever it is, you need to share it! It's the spirit of the season!" The elves sang together as the eight reindeer were positioned in front of the sleigh.
The elves on the balcony blared a slightly different fanfare through their trumpets. Another group of elves came out in a straight line holding sleigh bells.
"It's the spirit of the season!"
The elves shook the bells, but Elsa didn't hear anything. Her smile dropped.
"You can hear it in the air!"
The bells were shaken again, and Elsa didn't hear anything come out of them. The elves kept cheering, however.
"Aren't those bells the most beautiful sound?!" Said Honeymarren.
Elsa put her hand to her ear. She still didn't even hear the slightest sound come out of them.
"Why can't I hear them?" She asked herself.
The trumpets blared again in their longest, most majestic fanfare yet. Suddenly, everyone was silent. The silence only lasted for a moment before everyone started yelling again.
"You better watch out, you better not cry! You better not pout, I'm telling you why! Santa Claus is coming... to town!"
The double doors at the bottom of the building burst open, and a Santa-shaped shadow appeared in the open stretch of ground directly in front of it. The cheering immediately resumed as the song "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" started playing through a speaker system.
Elsa tried to get a good look at the source of the shadow, but several elves stacked themselves on top of each other and kept the figure out of her sight.
"He's here! He's here!" Honeymarren shouted, excited.
"I see him! He's over there!" Kristoff said, just as excited.
"Where?! I can't see him!" Yelled Elsa.
Try as she might, the stacked elves continued obscuring her line of sight. At best, she got very brief glimpses. The Conductor tipped his hat. Elsa got on her tip-toes, but more and more elves got on top of each other right in front of her, further obscuring her direct line of sight in that direction.
"I can't see him! I can't see him!" She shouted, only for the cheering from the thousands of elves to drown her out.
Just as she was about to give up, she noticed the reindeer jumping up and down excitedly, and one detail that caught her eye in particular was a single sleigh bell that appeared to be more loose than the others. The bell got more and more loose until it flew off. It went high into the air, unnoticed by everyone except her. It then hit the ground several times before rolling to a stop on some ice by Elsa's feet. She bent down, picked up the bell, and held it by her ear. Each time she shook it, she heard the word "Doubter" echo through her head rather than what a bell would normally sound like.
"Okay!"
Elsa shut her eyes tight.
"I believe."
She still heard nothing.
"I believe."
Still nothing.
"I believe!" She said, quieter and more desperate than ever.
As she held it to her ear one last time and shook it, it rang. Elsa opened her eyes and gasped in shock as she rang it again. She wasn't imagining it. She brought the bell in front of her, and saw a reflection that wasn't her own come closer. She moved it to the side and saw the source. Elsa turned around and came face to face with Santa Claus.
"What was that you said?"
Elsa was silent due to sheer astonishment. After nearly a year of doubt, here she was face to face with the real Santa Claus.
"I- I believe."
She turned around and saw that the elves and the other passengers were all staring at her.
"I believe."
Santa raised an eyebrow.
"I believe, that this is yours." Said Elsa as she held the bell outward. Santa slowly reached forward and grabbed the bell from Elsa's hand.
"Well, thank you."
"Me! Me! Pick me, Santa!" Yelled Ryder.
"Sh! Stop it!" Said Honeymarren as Santa slowly moved to face Ryder.
"Pick me! Pick me! I want the first gift! I want the first gift!"
"Young man, patience. And a smidgen of humility might also serve you well." Said Santa.
"Yes sir." Ryder said, defeated.
Santa moved to the left, now facing Honeymarren.
"And you, young lady. A lady of decision. Full of confidence and spirit. Christmas spirit." Santa chuckled. "Keep up the good work."
"Thank you."
Santa moved left again, now facing Kristoff.
"And Kristoff... it is Kristoff?" Kristoff nodded. "I see you've made some new friends."
"Yes sir, I sure have."
"That's a lucky lad. There's no greater gift than friendship."
"I see what you mean. I don't think I've ever had this much fun with anyone outside my family."
"And speaking of gifts!" Santa yelled out to the elves, who were all dead silent as they waited for him to announce his decision. He turned and pointed to Elsa.
"Let's have this young lass right here."
