Tessa was stewing in anger the entire drive to the building she had lived in just a year ago. It seemed like an entire lifetime ago. It was kind of funny, it would all end where it had really started. Joker was humming a strange tune she hadn't heard before. She liked it. She had been uncomfortable leaving her son at the warehouse, but Joker had assured her that if anything happened to the baby, everyone there would pay with their lives.

The drive didn't take long, and as Joker parked the car a few buildings down, all she could see was the familiar structure that she had called home, the first place she had ever felt comfortable in.

"Tes-sa?" his voice was sing song.

She turned to look at him, a smile on her face. "Hmm?"

"Are you with me?"

"Til the end." she said.

He laughed, then leaned forward and kissed her. Tessa was so excited. She would get her revenge on the doctor who had tried to ruin her life, twice. She had hurt her twice, but Tessa was strong. She pulled back and looked at the crazy man she loved.

"Let's go."

They got out of the car and headed into the building full of Tessa's memories. The door swung open easily and they moved up the stairs and into her old room. Not much was left, Joker had moved her things a while ago, but it was comforting to be here.

Joker set the bag they had brought onto the old rickety table and started to rummage through it. Tessa walked around the room and just remembered. Her clothes would hang along this wall, or she would draw facing that window.

She stepped into her old bathroom and laughed at her rudimentary set up. She tested the faucet and yellow tinged water flowed from it. She tuned the tap back off and looked up at the mirror. She looked different than had before. Still having a bit of pregnancy weight on her, her face was a bit fuller, but she looked healthy.

She looked on the counter and laughed. Joker hadn't grabbed all of her things. There was an open tube of toothpaste and an old stick of eyeliner. She turned to leave, stepping back into the main room. Joker was pacing across the room and seemed deep in thought.

Tessa stepped forward and caught him mid step.

"This place brings back memories." she said.

"Mmm, yes, good memories. I'm craving a calzone."

She laughed. Joker stood straight like he had just remembered something. Tessa released him and watched. He was digging through a few pockets and then pulled out something she had never though she would see again.

"I believe this is yours."

She smiled, reaching for her knife.

"Ah, remember," he flicked the safety button off then on again.

"I know." she said grabbing it from him.

She tucked it into her back pocket and moved to kiss him again. "Thanks for returning it to me, I thought I had lost it forever."

Joker was about to speak when lights shone through the window. Tessa's heart rate tripled. "Is that her?"

Joker moved to the window and looked out at the car. "We have company."

Tessa moved back into the restroom, closing the door most of the way. She moved to the side, letting her see the only way into the larger room. She was practically holding her breath. She heard her before she saw her.

"Mr. J, are you here?"

Tessa felt her fingernails break the skin on her palms. The pain was sharp and cleared her head. She watched as the now brunette looked for Joker.

"Doc! You made it."

Tessa watched as Harley made her way to Joker, the strange, shy woman she could see was not the bitch that stole her baby from her. This woman was crazy. Joker let her hug him. Tessa felt sick to her stomach. She watched as Harley clung to him, though he didn't lay a hand on her.

Finally, he shrugged her off. She huffed, but stepped back.

"What was so important, you needed to see me? Hmm?"

She frowned slightly, "I missed you. Didn't you miss me?"

"No." he dead panned.

Tessa had to bite her cheek to keep from laughing.

Harley must have been delusional. "Oh you are so funny. Did you like my message?"

"It was ... eye catching."

She giggled. Tessa watched as she took in the building. "You staying here?"

Joker turned his head to look around the room. "No, not really. Do you like it? It belongs to a friend."

Harley giggled. "What friend?"

"A girl...friend."

Harley frowned. Tessa watched with glee as she processed what he had said. She saw the moment Harley snapped back to the bitch Tessa knew so well.

"You mean your little whore?"

He chuckled, "To-may-to, To-mah-to."

"She is not worthy of you. You need someone who can handle you."

Joker held up his hand. "You think that is you?"

She smiled. "I know it is."

Joker laughed. Tessa smiled. Poor Harley had no idea what she was in for. Tessa watched Joker slide his signature jacket from his shoulders and place it on the old worn mattress. He was in his vest and shirt. His gun tucked into the back of his slacks, just to the right of his suspenders.

Harley was looking a bit worried, a bit expectant. Joker turned back to her. "What's with the hair?"

She looked confused then laughed, "My platinum blonde is all over the news, needed to lay low for a bit."

"It looks terrible."

"Is that why you agreed to meet up with me? To trade insults?"

He shrugged, "You wanted to meet up, not me." he raised his hands up, exaggerating the shrug.

Harley let out a frustrated sound and stomped her foot like a child. Tessa was amazed at the strange mood swings. Joker moved, backing himself to the wall opposite of Tessa, his eyes stayed locked on hers as he put an arm out towards Harley.

Tessa narrowed her eyes at him and he smiled. Harley pounced, She jumped onto his torso and wrapped her long legs around his waist. Tessa would kill her. She watched in horror as Harley moved in and kissed Joker. His eyes still locked on Tessa.

Tessa was out of the bathroom and grabbed the first thing she saw on the table. A small billy club. Perfect. She pulled back with all her strength and felt muscles she wasn't supposed to use yes scream in pain as she swung the weapon at Harely.

It connected with the side of her head and the woman's grasp on Joker loosened and her unconscious body hit the floor.

"About time, I though you were going to let her fuck me against the wall."

Tessa looked up at Joker, without thought her fist connected with his nose. The blood pour instantly, her hand ached, and Joker was somewhere between cursing and laughing as he held his throbbing nose.
