Once he was on platform 9¾, Scorpius searched impatiently for the familiar face of his best friend. He recognised Albus's father, famous for his legendary lightning bolt scar, a few meters away. He left his parents alone and, hearing his mother yelling at him in the distance to be careful, he joined Albus on the other side of the crowd. He could see his back and the tufts of black hair almost reaching his shoulders; presumably Albus had grown it out during the holidays. Reaching him, Scorpius jumped upon Albus and rubbed his dark hair affectionately.
