EMMA'S POV

I stroll into the station only three minutes late, pretty much on time. Walking in, I see Mulan throwing her jacket on and she looks like she's gonna fall asleep any second.

"Hey Mulan, how'd the night go?"

"Nothing exciting. Leroy is in his cell sleeping it off; per usual."

"Alrighty, then. You look like you can use a week's worth of sleep. Are you driving?

I am about to do my morning patrol, I can drop you off."

"That's okay, Sherriff. I could use the fresh air and stretch my legs. It's just the neighbor's dog is up at all hours."

"If you're sure. I'll tell you what. I'll put a silencing spell over her yard so you can sleep when I pass by."

"Thanks, Emma. You're a life saver."

"Don't mention it. Goodnight, Fa."

"Good Morning to you, as well, Swan."

I make it to my chair and prop my feet up on my desk.

A cloud of smoke dissipates, leaving a Granny's take out bag. In it's wake. It could be a cover, a bomb, anything. Is this a prank?

A sticky note appears:

"To make up for stealing your time this morning. XOXO"

Damn, I am so lucky. "She is just too adorable." I mutter to myself as I take a massive bite from the worlds most delicious treat…besides Regina.

POOF*

A to go coffee cup appears next to the bag with another note.

"I am not adorable, Miss Swan."

I burst out laughing. Swiveling in my chair, I look up at the mirror that reflects the rest of the station.

"My apologies. Thank you, your royal sexiness."

My desktop pings with a new email, from the woman who has invaded all my thoughts.

—————————

Sherif Swan,

That's more like it. Now, I'm sure there is something better you could be doing with our tax payers money.

I'll see you tonight, Swan. Don't forget what I said before. I'll know it.

Mayor MIlls

—————————

Boy, do I have my hands full with this one. And I don't mind it one bit.

SQSQSQSQSQSQSQ

The morning goes by without a hitch.

Leroy got his cup of the station's stale coffee and was on his way a half hour later.

"Same time next week, Sister."

"I suppose so, Leroy. Unless your liver finally taps out."

He just grunts and takes his leave.

A few hours later I've gone over the paperwork from the weekend. Now, I'm off to patrol the town.

I pass Dr. Hopper out on his morning stroll with Pongo, must be between his clients. I pull over to have a quick chat.

"Hey Archie! Got a sec?"

"Hello Emma, of course. I had a feeling you'd be stopping by."

"Thanks. Yeah, I'm guessing you probably heard about the incident this weekend. Can I come by sometime on Wednesday?" -Pongo rubs up on my leg as soon as I'm close enough. He knows how to get what he wants; and who am I to deny such a smart dog.

"You guessed correctly. Unfortunately, that is the downside of being in such a small close knit community where everyone knows everyone. On the other hand, everyone seems to be finding their happy endings so I've got some free time. What time works for you?

"You're not wrong. I can't even sneeze without the whole town knowing. Anyways, does eleven work?"

"Sounds good, see you then.

"Thanks Archie. Enjoy your walk, Pongo." -I give Pongo one more scratch behind the ear before getting in the cruiser and heading back to the station.

There's only little things left to be done so I take a small break by throwing some darts.

I hear the door open and only one person really ever comes to the station.

"I thought I gave you all the reports on Friday."

"Oh. I'm not...sorry. I just wanted to see if you were okay."

"Lily. What are you doing here. I thought I told you to stay away."

"I know. I thought I would try one last time without your guard dog. What's with her anyways? Why is the mayor always budding in your business? She needs to find someone to pull that stick out of her-"

"It'd be wise if you keep your mouth shut about her. You don't know what your talking about and you don't know me."

"Fine. Fine. Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. It's just she's "

"Lily! Why are you here?"

I keep my distance the entire time. She takes a step closer. I take one back keeping the desks in between us. I don't feel any pain yet but I don't want to risk it. I don't want to worry Regina.

"I just wanted to talk. Maybe we can meet at Granny's sometime. I owe you an apology and an explanation for everything. I never stopped thinking about you. Say you'll meet me?"

"I don't know, Lily. Can I think about it?"

"Of course. I truly am sorry, Em. For everything."

"Don't call me that. You lost the right to call me that. You should go. I'll let you know what I decide when I do." -Regina calls me that and I don't like it coming from Lily anymore.

"Okay, Emma. I hope to hear from you." -With that she leaves.

So, maybe Gina's right. My heart is cured. That's a relief.

I wonder what she's doing now. It's already two in the afternoon and I have a feeling she skipped lunch. I fish my phone out of my pocket to shoot a text.

E: Hey Rubes can u drop off my usual nd add a chx Caesar another rootbeer.

Ruby: Sure thing babes

E: Thnx IOU

Now, I've got to schedule a meeting with my girlfriend. How lame is that?

"Mayor Mills office, this is Emily speaking."

E- Hey Emily, Any chance you can pencil me in? Something came up and I need to speak with the mayor. It'll be quick.

"She's wrapping up her 1:30 right now. Can you be here by 2:30 in ten minutes? She's got another at 3. Will that be enough time?"

E- Plenty. Thank you. Oh, and don't tell her it's me.

Ten minutes later Ruby walks in with my food.

"Thanks, Rubes. You're my hero." - I hand her forty bucks; enough for a good tip since Granny's doesn't actually deliver.

"No problem, I needed a break from Granny anyways. She's been on my case ever since I mentioned wanting to explore outside of Storybrooke."

"She's just worried, Ruby. She wants what's best for you but she doesn't want to lose you either. She's looked out for you for so long. You guys have always had each other."

"I know, you're right. It's just...I'm not a child anymore. But enough about me, why'd you order our majesty's usual, hmm? And good luck trying to get her to drink the rootbeer. I'm sure she will turn her nose up at it."

"I've got some questions on a few of these reports and I figured if I bring her food she won't be such a pain about it."

"I'll buy that for now but I know there's more you aren't telling me. I can smell it." -with that she winks at me like she knows exactly what I'm hiding and makes her exit.

I want to tell her and brag about my amazing girlfriend but we've got to tell Mom and Dad first. I know mom is the worst at keeping a secret but Ruby is the town's gossip.

I've got three minutes to be there. There's not enough time to walk or drive so I poof over to Town Hall.

"Hey Emily, is it safe to go in?"

"Give me one second." -she presses a but to speak to her boss. "I've got your 2:30 here Miss Mills, can I send them in?"

"Go ahead, Emily. Thank you."

I pop my head in to see her wearing those sexy black framed glasses at the tip of her nose. I quietly shut the door behind me, keeping the take out behind my back. She has yet to look up from whatever documents she is red lining the crap out of.

"Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes. Have I told you how sexy you make those glasses?"

"Em what are you doing here? As much as I love to see you, I don't have much time. I have a last minute meeting in...two minutes."

"I know. It's me. I'm your 2:30."

"You are? To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Well I figured you probably skipped lunch so I brought gifts."

"Please tell me that's a Rootbeer? You're amazing. And if you tell anyone that I'm drinking that you're toast."

"It's our little secret. Can you conquer these bottles? I thought they were twist-offs."

"Do I look like I can pry them off with my teeth? I'm a queen and a bit more refined."

"Oh just a bit? Do tell?"

"I'm sure you'd love all the dirty details but sadly, I don't have the time to go there with you. As much as I'd love to take you right now over my desk..."

"You're right. Not enough time. And I've already gotten blue balls once today. And no, I have not relieved the tension you built this morning."

"Good girl." -She says as she rounds the desk to greet me with a kiss. "Hello, darling."

"Mmm, hello to you, too." -My hands wander to her glorious ass that fills my palms as hers travel beneath my sweater to caress my tits. I really wish we had more time.

We deepen the kiss for a little while longer with our tongues dueling for control. In the end, she wins. And I am more than okay with it.

"As badly as I want to keep going, you really need to eat and we now only have twenty minutes. Plus, there's one more thing I came to talk to you about."

With one more peck to my lips, she grabs my free hand and leads us to the sitting couch off to the side. She grabs both bottles and opens them with a ring she pulled from within the coffee table. She did it so expertly, she must have been a bartender in another life.

Now, I'm picturing her in something a little more revealing (but still leaving it to the imagination) behind a bar mixing drinks. I must say, I wouldn't mind seeing that.

"What? Is there something on my face?"

Man, I was so deep into my daydream I didn't even notice our food was open and she had already started eating without me.

"Huh?"

"You were staring."

"I can't stare at my girlfriend?"

"Nice save. Anyways, you said you had something to talk about. Should I be worried?"

"Maybe...No, I don't think so."

"You better just say it. Don't drag it out." - She sets her food aside and I can see a hint of her walls coming up. What does she think I'm gonna say?

"Relax, we're good. It's Lily. She came to the station."

"That bitch! I warned her. She's got some nerve." - She's already packing up her lunch and on her feet. I grab her hand and pull her back down to the couch with me.

"Regina, wait. Before we get ahead of ourselves here, let me finish. She came asking if I'd meet her at Granny's so she can apologize and explain. A part of me doesn't want to go. I'm happy. I've got you now and nothing she says will change that. But another part of me, the young nineteen year old girl who was never enough and lost her best friend needs answers. Closure. I haven't made a decision yet. I wanted to talk to you first."

"I don't trust her. And I don't like the idea of you meeting her alone. But I do trust you. If you say this won't change us then I believe you. I just ask that if you do go, that you are sure. I can't lose you. I just got you. Not that you are a possession or anything, I just…"

"I know, I know what you mean. I am yours and you are mine. Or do I need to send you another picture?

"That's not what I was trying to do. I wasn't trying to claim you."

"Relax Regina, I liked it. I know you aren't trying to control or possess me. But I like being claimed by you. I like being yours."

"You do?"

"Woman, do I have to spell it out for you? I know we are taking it slow and it's kinda early but I love you, Regina Mills. I think I have for a while now. And you don't have to say it back, right now. I hope someday you do, but only if you mean it."

The next thing I feel is her soft hands grab my face and pull me into her. As our lips mold together she whispers the words, "I love you." This kiss is deep but not like the other ones. It's slower and gentle like she's breathing the words into my mouth.

We slowly pull away resting our foreheads together just soaking in the moment. And of course, my stomach decided to ruin another moment.

We both start laughing and Regina is the first to pull away. "Okay, let's eat. We've got ten minutes."

We both dig into our respective meals, mine being an extra cheesy grilled cheese that is really hitting the spot. "So, how many more meetings do you have today?"

"Two more. The first with Gold about the fairies, which is pretty much him complaining about every little thing. And the next with him and Belle about the library."

"Oh I do not wish to be you right now. What time do you think you'll be done for the day?"

"Once I get them out and finish up with my work here, hmm, close to six - six thirty."

"Are we still on for dinner at my place? I'm off at 6 so I can swing by and pick up the kid, on my way."

"Of course, honey." - Five minutes left and we are clearing up the garbage from our late lunch.

"Sweet. Any requests for dinner?"

"Just nothing too sweet, like breakfast for dinner. And don't deny it. Henry has told me. At the very least, some vegetables, please."

"Oh you set the bar so high with that one. Ye have little faith."

"Well, can you blame me?"

"I'm not answering that. But I should let you go now."

"I suppose. Thank you for lunch, dear." -She walks me to the door but when I think she's about to open she twists the lock and a shimmering soundproof spell goes up.

In the next second, I am pinned against the door with her plump lips on mine. "Did you drive here? -She manages to ask as she moves to my neck, no doubt leaving a mark just above my collarbone.

"No, I poofed. Why?"

She doesn't answer me with her words. She pins my right wrist with her left hand above my head. I grab her hair and pull her back to my lips.

"Gina, babe, mmmmm we don't have enough time. Fuck."

"I know. I just needed a taste to hold me over until tonight."

Regina must have used magic because her hand is sliding into my red panties and I don't know when she unbuttoned them. But I won't stop her.

"Please."

Her fingers slide through my wetness to circle my entrance then moves to rub my clit a few times. And I'm already on edge. She takes one more swipe through my slit, collecting all of my juices and then her fingers are gone.

"You are a cruel cruel woman." I'm still trying to catch my breath as she sucks her fingers into her mouth. I drop my head back against the door. The sight alone is keeping me at my high but it's not enough to push me over the edge. But pretty damn close.

"I know and you love me for it."

"I do and it's killing me."

"Don't be so dramatic. I'll see you tonight." She leans in to whisper in my ear. "Remember: No touching." Her tongue reaches out to flick my ear before she pulls away. "Here, take my scarf it's getting a little cold out there."

"Huh?"

One last peck to my lips and a soft, "I love you" and "I love you, too." Then she poofs me back to the station wearing her scarf.
