Chapter 11:

Kapil sir (In soft tone): Sir ab aap jayie actually toss ka time ho raha hai isko jana hoga niche..DIG nodded at him understandably..

DIG sir (In loving tone): Bye tiger band baja dena opposition ki itne sixes marna ki vo bowling karne se bhi dare..all laughed at him lightly..he went after ruffling his hairs and kissing his cheeks for once..while Abhijeet smiled really sweetly at it..

Kapil sir : Dekh tiger Abhijeet shoot him a glare seeing it he hurriedly changed his sentence m..mera matlab hai Abhii dekho bhai everyone hid their smiles with much difficulty agar toss jeetoge to batting lena samjh gaye na chasing mein pressure aa jata hai..aur batting order hai (he showed them a sheet of paper)

All nodded at him and everyone went downstairs for the toss..

In Cricket Field:

Match Referee: Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to the most awaited clash of the world cup India vs Pakistan..so cordially invite you all for this clash..be ready for the toss..I invite Pakistan's captain Mr Sayeed Ahmed here..in the middle and next the lad who is playing his first match in Indian colours and that too as a captain and on his birthday, who will be surely remembered in cricketing history for long times..(all were listening to him with great curiosity) I am really obliged to take his name "THE YOUNGEST CAPTAIN" in cricket history ever Mr. Abhijeet Shekhawat..

ACP and Arpita who were sitting in the audience were really stunned at their place; they really don't know how to react. They were really not believing their eyes that they are seeing their child after three years and that too in Indian dress tears started flowing through their eyes in great speed..who was coming with a sweet smile on his face and his body language was beaming confidence..

In Audience :

ACP and Arpita who were unable to control themselves went aside to expel their heart out... DIG looked at their way and smiled...he went near them and from back..

DIG sir (teasingly ): Vaise ACP sahab aur Ma'am aapne bataya nahi ki aapko mera yeh surprise kaisa laga... ACP and Arpita looked towards him with shocking expressions aise mat dekho mujhe pata tha yeh main abhi usse hi mil kar aa raha hun mera tiger bahut khush hai yahan aur usko dekh kar mai bahut khush hun sahi mein aur mai tum dono se request karoonga ki mere bachhe ko kuch mat kehna uska itna bada din kharab mat karna..tum

ACP sir ( while crying ):Aap usse mil kar aaye DIG nodded at him mujhe bhi le jate mai apne bachhe ko ek baar pass se dekh hi leta and he fell down on his knees and started crying..

Arpita (in teary tone ): ACP sahab aap itni jadi haar kaise maan sakte hai abhi usse maafi mangni hai apni galtiyon ki hume chaliye uthiye…Pata nahi humare bachhe ne kya kya saha hoga Pradyuman usne kitni mushkile dekhi hongi yahan tak pahunchne mein aapne sahi kaha hum kaafi badkismat hai humare pass to yeh bhi garv se kehne ka hak nahi hai ki humara beta hai aur dekho sirf 18 saal ki umar mein Indian Team ki captancy kar raha hai vo bhi world cup mein aur phela match dekho Pakistan ke against hai..

DIG sir (felt really bad seeing their guilt but he didn't show them ): Ab kya pachta rahe ho tum dono ab to tumne kar diya jo karna tha bhagwan se bass dua karo ki vo ab maaf karde tumhe he sighed and went from their…

ACP sir (in teary tone ): Tumhe pata hai Arpita aaj mai kitna khush hun mera bachha aagaya India ki team aur vo captain ban kar aur dekho uski umar sirf 18 saal ka hai aur phela match bhi dekho India vs Pakistan hai…

Arpita (while crying ): ACP sahab aaj mai apne nazro mein apne aap ko bahut chota mehsoos karrahi hun...aaj to mujhe apne upar itna gussa aa raha hai na mai bata nahi sakti aapko…

ACP sir ( in fear ): Mera beta mujhe maaf to kar dega na Arpita vo mujhse puri zindagi naaraz to nhi rahega mai mar jaunga uske bina..

Arpita (held his hand lightly): Aap fikar mat kijiye hum usko mana lenge time kaafi lagega kyunki zakham ghera hai par hum bhi to uske maa baap hi hain na…

ACP sir (in teary tone):Tum sahi keh rahi ho Arpita mujhe usse manana hai bass chaye jo karna pade time lagega par mai bhi karke rahunga uska hi baap hun na itni jaldi haar nahi man sakta mai...Chalo uske liye chalkar cheer karte hai Arpita nodded at him with a sad smile on her lips..and they went on their seats…

In Field:

Match Referee: So guys Abhijeet has the coin and he tosses the coin and Sayeed takes the call..

Sayeed Ahmed: Tails..

Match Referee(looking towards the coin): Ohh Heads it is India won the toss..Abhijeet what you want to choose?..

Abhijeet : Ya we would like to bat first as it looks like a green surface and an ideal surface to bat on so we will hopefully make a huge target and put pressure on the opposition..and in second innings the pitch will get slower..

Match Referee: All the best Abhijeet best wishes for the match..he nodded at him with a smile and went..Sayeed you lost the toss is there any regrets?..

Sayeed Ahmed : No absolutely not we would have bowled first if I would have won the toss and past suggests that they are not good target makers so we would try to bowl them out on a minimum total..

Match Referee : All the best to you too..Sayeed nodded at him with a smile and went from there..so guys here is the news from centre India has won the toss and elected to bat first..

In Audience:

ACP and Arpita were sitting a little far away from the team to control their emotions..

ACP sir (in moist and rash tone): aaj mujhe apne upar itna gussa aa raha hai na mai bata nahi sakta Arpita aaj pheli baar ACP Pradyuman haar kar bahut khush hai..

Arpita : aap apne aapko sambhaliye humme vaise bhi match ke baad usko manana hai na in teary tone thoda vakt lagega kyunki gusse vala to bahut hai bass isliye..ACP gave her a teary smile..

Pankaj : India ki batting hai pheli aur humara captain bahut confident lag raha hai..

Daya (smiling): Confidence nahi hai yaar overconfidence hai bachha hai kya hi karega vo..and he laughed at it lightly..ACP clenched his fist in anger but before he could speak..

DIG sir (in stern tone): Senior Inspector Daya please how can you judge a person according to his age?..tumne usko khelte hue dekha hai kya kabhi kuch bola hai na to bata raha hun suspend kar donga..Daya downed his head in embarrassment everyone was really confused but no one dared to ask anything from him…

In Field (In commentary box):

Kapil Dev, Micheal Atherton, Micheal Clarke were present in the commentary box..for the first ten overs..

Micheal Atherton : Guys please I request you all to stand up for the national anthem ceremony as to show your respect for the two nations..First we will have India's National anthem followed by Pakistan's..here Indian and Pakistan team's arrive in the middle..so here is India's national anthem..Indian team was chanting their anthem with the feeling of pride on their faces..after India's national anthem let's gear up for pakistan's national anthem..after national anthem was over..

Micheal Clarke : Mike Indian openers are here in the middle..and pakistan team has arranged the field and most likely their best bowler Nawaz Shah will bowl the first over..

In Audience:

DIG came near ACP and Arpita and sat beside them..

DIG sir (In proud tone): Dekha tum dono ne mera tiger aa gaya hai opening kar raha hai aur ab dekhna sixes padenge..

ACP sir (In low tone): Vo to mujhe bhi pata hai sir par mai bahut sharminda hun sachii..

Arpita was not speaking anything, she was just watching him with tears in her eyes..

DIG sir (sighing): Vo to ACP hona hi tha bhagwan se dua karo ki vo tumhe maaf karde.. (In a bit excited tone) par bhai vo sab to match ke baad hi karoge na abhi kam se kam apne bete ko khelta hue dekh kar proud hi feel karlo...ACP and Arpita nodded at him with a sad smile on their faces…

In Field :

Abhijeet went on strike and Tanish on runners end..and Sayeed Ahmed gave the ball to Nawaaz Shah to start the proceedings..every pakistan player is just smirking at him..

Nawaaz took the run up and bowled a deadly bouncer to start and he just ducked it safely..next he bowled a short ball to his chest height..he just left it...third he bowled a full delivery on the stumps and he edged it..but it landed safely on the ground..

Sayeed Ahmed (laughing loudly): Bhaii ball dikhayi nahi de rahi kya white colour ki hai mai bata deta hun chasma phen le jaakar..All others were laughing at him and Tanish was feeling extreme anger upon them (to Nawaaz) bhai zara dheere daal chota bachha hai ek kaam kar under arm daal de...

Tanish was going to confront them but Abhijeet raised his hand to stop him..

Nawaaz shah (while going back to his position): Bhai bachha samjhdar hai maanlo uski baat..Tanish just glared at him hard..

In Audience:

Girl (In disappointment): Lo bhai iss baar bhi haar gaye aur aise chote bachhe ko uthakar le aayenge to kahan se hi jeetenge..

Boy : Sahi keh rahi yaar pakistan aur India ke match ka itne time se wait kar rahe the aur yeh dekhna tha

Boy 2 : chalo yaar chalte hai bekaar hai rukna vohi hoga har baar ki tarah 200 se niche out ho jayenge aur vo unka captain akela hi bana dega..

Girl 2: Arre yaar ruko na phela over to dekhlo kam se kam..All three of them looked at her in great disappointment and nodded..

Team's side :

Purvi (In Sadness): Yaar not again isko kyu bheja hai sahi mein haar jayenge ab..

Daya : Mai to phele hi keh raha tha par DIG sir ne mujhe daant kar chup karva diya bekar hi aaye…

Pankaj : Haan sir aap sahi keh rahe the..

In Field :

Nawaaz bowled the next ball and he swung the bat for a six towards long on boundary..pakistan's players were watching him with wide shocked eyes..

Sayeed Ahmed : Come on Nawaaz out kar na ek six to tuka hai yaar..Nawaaz nodded at him and again went to his position...he took his run up and bowled the next ball and this time he scooped it over third man region for another six...Pakistan players and audience were watching him with shocking expression but DIG , ACP, Arpita were watching him with proud expressions but two of them have huge burden of guilt on their shoulders..he bowled his third ball and it went for a four towards mid on..

In Commentary box :

Micheal Atherton (jumping from the seats and with hands on his head): Ohh my goddd I have never seen such clean hitting in my whole life..this lad is just superb..

Micheal Clarke (matching his excitement): Bro I want his autograph on my shirt he is just toying with their best bowler..like a school boy..

Kapil dev (Standing on chair): Would you ever believe someone can hit two sixes to Nawaaz shah in his one over..I am his biggest fan..from now I want a selfie with him..

Micheal Atherton : Ohh goddd six again..wow he surely has a very bright future ahead..I will not be surprised if he reaches his century in the first 10 overs itself..

Micheal Clarke : What is there to be surprised about is he is already batting at the great strike rate of 250 oh god guys one more…I bet he would reach there in eight overs..
