Chapter 13: Aftermath and Sports
All of the students had gathered outside. Many of them talked about what happened to them and where they ended up.
"Wow! You really ended up all alone in the fire zone?" Star asked Mashirao.
"Yeah…" said Mashirao.
"So you didn't see the explosion that Star created then…" said Tsuyu.
"What explosion?" asked Mashirao.
Izuku was looking at Kaminari, who was completely out of it.
"Is he okay?" asked Izuku.
"He reached his limit and turned himself into a an idiot." Explained Kyoka.
"Whey!" said Kaminari giving the thumbs up.
Kaminari had a limit to how much of his quirk he could use, and if he went over that limit he would short circuits his brain and for like and hour he would become a complete and utter moron for about an hour.
"All right! It appears that all of the students are accounted for." Said a police detective, "And the injuries are to be minor or already healed. We'll be taking you back to school where you give your statement."
"What does that mean?" asked Star, "Does it means we're in trouble?"
"No it's fine… we're just be telling the police what happened." Explained Tenya.
"Ah! Okay!" said Star.
"There's something I have to do;.." said the detective, "Sansa I will leave it up you."
A police offer that resembled a cat saluted at the detective.
"Kitty cat cop!" said Star with her eyes sparkling.
"Oh he has a little bell, cute." Said Ochaco which was true as instead a tie he had a little bell.
When they got back to the school. They talked to the police. However one of them said.
"We need to talk to Midoriya and Butterfly first." Said one of the officers.
"IS there a reason?" asked Izuku.
"Recovery Girl wants to talk to both of you…" said the officer.
Star sighed while Izuku shrunk down on himself.
"Wait… Star did you heal Midoriya?" asked Tenya.
"Yeah! And as you can see it worked this time!" said Star.
"She is going to yell at you…" said Ochaco.
"We know…" sighed both Star and Izuku.
After giving their statements they went to the nurse's office. Recovery Girl examined Izuku and then afterwards started hitting the princess with her cane.
"OW…" muttered Star rubbing where was whacked.
"I should have explained better when you use that new spell of yours… but you still took a chance in a dangerous situation to heal him…" said Recovery Girl, "Even if you did practice it… you still needed to see if would work on humans…"
Star sighed.
"However it did work… but only the spell to heal after you fight Ludo;… or with my suggestion…" said Recovery Girl.
"I know… he should be learning to control his Quirk than me just fixing it all the time." Said Star.
Recovery Girl nodded.
"Now go…" said Recovery Girl, "I still have to take care of his injuries."
"Okay…" said Star, "SO meet up whenever everyone is done?"
Izuku nodded.
"Later!" said Star.
Star left the office but Izuku was confused.
"Uh… why did…" said Izuku.
"It's because I wanted to talk…" said a voice.
Izuku had noticed there was a divider in the room blocking off one of the beds, but didn't say anything. In the best it was All Might in his true form and he was talking with the decoctive.
"Oh All Might." Said Izuku.
He looked at the detective.
"Oh let me introduce you…" said All Might, "This is my friend Tsukauchi…"
He introduced the two, as the detective was a friend of his he greatly trusted with his secrets.
For the next couple of days the school was closed to reevaluate security producers.
Which they did talk about a lot…
In the meeting there was something brought up.
"During the fight, Shigaraki tried to used his quirk on my cat…" said Aizawa, "But it didn't work…"
"He tried to kill your cat! That's the most evil thing known to man!" said Present Mic.
The laser kitty started shooting at Present Mic.
"That's not the point I was trying to make…" said Aizawa, "The point is that the reason I believe it didn't work is because their a magical construct."
"Oh yes, Princess Butterfly did create your cat." Said Principal Nezu.
"I forgot you kidnaped her cat." Said the teacher dressed like a dominatrix.
"I kidnap anything… she let me take it." Said Aizawa.
"So you believe his Quirk can't work on Magic?" asked Nezu.
Aizawa nodded.
"You think it would be a good idea to ask the Princess to help?" asked a teacher who resembled a cement block, his name was Cementoss.
"No." said Aizawa harshly.
"I will ask Queen Butterfly." Said Principal Nezu, "Star is still just learning her magic after all."
Aizawa breathed of relief from that. He didn't want to give Star the task of creating some security measures in case Shigaraki tried something again.
"Is it just me or is it weird we might be hiring an actual queen to help with our security?" asked Present Mic, "I mean what do we even pay her?"
None of the teachers answered this… mainly because he had a point. It was really weird they were asking a Queen to do that.
"Many dimensions do use Yen… however I do have an idea of payment should she agree." Said Principial Nezu.
The other teachers nodded and deicide to move on for another part of the society plan.
Also during this time… Star had a mirror call with her mother.
"Don't worry Star, I have no intentions of pulling you out at the moment…" said Queen Moon, "Even if you and your classmates was attacked."
"Thanks mom…" said Star.
"How are your friends?" sked Queen Moon.
"Izuku was the one who got hurt the worst, but it was mostly his bones… which makes sense…" said Star, "But the spell worked! So now I can heal him when he fights Ludo."
"Let me guess they won't let you heal him at school." Said Queen Moon.
"No…" said Star, "Since you know he should be learning to control it."
"That does make sense." Said Queen Moon.
"Also Mr. Aizawa also got his skin removed from his elbow… but he's fine…" said Star.
"Oh… okay…" said Queen Moon unsure how to respond to that one.
"But yeah… it was scary but I'm fine…" said Star.
"I already know." Sid Queen Moon, "And I'll see you soon."
"Yeah…" said Star.
But of course they would have to return to school.
"Everyone to your seats!" scolded Tenya.
"You're the only one out of your seat." Pointed out Kaminari.
The class laughed as he felt ashamed.
And soon enough Aizawa came into the room.
"How's your elbow?" asked Star.
"It's fine." Said Aizawa.
He sighed at his class.
"You've all had to deal with real villains… however you should know that your fight isn't over yet." Said Aizawa.
Everyone in class was on edge.
"Because in two weeks we'll be having the Sports Festival." Said Aizawa.
Almost everyone in class was excited.
Expect for Star who was just confused.
"What's the Sports Festival?" asked Star.
"You don't know the Sports Festival?" asked Kaminari.
"Nope." said Star.
"Your parents really did send you here with zero explanation of the school." Muttered Kyoka.
"All right! Let me explain." Sighed Aizawa, "The sports festival is coemption show casing the students, mostly those in the hero course. The students participate in multiple events. In recent years it had become far more popular than the Olympics… which is the very reason why the school isn't canceling it because of what happened at the USJ."
"There will be scouts there." Said Momo, "It's not something that can be skipped."
"Just be noted, security will be heightened and there will be a much stronger police presence." Said Aizawa, "But still… this will be a chance for all of you to get noticed. Once a year you will have this chance, and you will have three chances for entire schooling! You better make the best of it."
The class seemed to be very excited for this.
"I have another question… what are the Olympics?" asked Star.
Most of the class stared at her in shock.
"How can you not know the Olympics are?" asked Kyoka.
"Mewni was extremely isolationist until recent years. They never part pated in any of the Olympic games." Explained Momo.
"Yeah… isolationist." Muttered Katsuki under his breath.
Star laughed at that reaction since he did sit behind her.
When lunch rolled around, everyone was talking about how excited they were… expect for Star who just watched her classmates.
"So… are you going to participate?" asked Izuku to Star.
"Yeah! Just for fun though… since you know…" said Star.
"Star! Deku! Iida! Let's do our best!" yelled Ochaco.
They turned to Ochaco and she had the most terrifying face imaginable.
"WE are all going to crush it!" yelled Ochaco.
"Ochaco… are you possessed?" asked Star.
"No! This is the face of someone who's going to crush it." Said Ochaco, "Now who's with me?"
Everyone cheered along with her… mostly in fear… though Izuku did realize something.
He knew why Tenya wanted to be a hero and he knew why Star was attending the school.
But he didn't know why Ochaco wanted to be a hero.
So as they walked to cafeteria he asked her.
"You want to know why I want to be a hero… well it's for the money…" sighed Ochaco.
"Really?" asked her three friends in surprise.
"Yeah… but it's not like that all!" said Ochaco, "It's my parents… they turn a construction company and times are hard."
"Wait… they turn a construction company?" asked Izuku, "Why don't you just use your quirk to help move heavy equipment and supplies?"
"That's what I thinking as a kid… but my parents." Said Ochaco.
She told the story about how her parents told her they would happy if she followed her heart.
"I want to make money for them… so that they can have a good life…" said Ochaco.
"No… that's a good reason." Said Izuku.
"You're doing it for the sake of your family." Said Tenya.
"Yeah! It's a sweet reason." Said Star.
"Thanks you guys." Said Ochaco.
"Young MI doyra!" called out All Might in musclebound form.
They turned and saw All Might was holding a lunch box and carried himself in a way that said "I want to eat lunch with Sempai".
"Would you like to eat lunch with me?" asked all Might.
Ochaco giggled at the site of the top hero looking like that.
"Oh…" said Izuku.
"You should eat lunch with him… even if he is a teacher and it would kind of weird." Said Star.
"Star!" scolded Tenya.
Ochaco giggled at the bluntness.
"Go head we don't mind." Said Ochaco.
After all, All Might was the number hero that children all over Japan admired.
The three let Izuku join All Might for lunch.
While they were in line.
"What do you think All Might wanted to talk to Midoriya about?" asked Tenya.
"Oh yeeha… didn't Tsu say that their quirks were similar?" asked Ochaco.
"Maybe he's giving advice how not to break his bones." Said Star.
"Oh that would also make sense." Said Ochaco.
However they didn't notice Shoto listening in on their conversation.
Once the school day was over a few students were trying to leave. Only for the door to be blocked by students from other classes.
"What are they doing?" asked Star.
"Isn't' it obvious… they want to see the class that dealt with villains." Muttered Bakugo.
He approached the large gathering of students.
"Get out of the way extras!" yelled Bakugo.
"Bakugo! Don't call them extras!" scolded Tenya.
"If this is the hero course then I have to say that I'm even less than impressed than before." Said a lavender haired boy with bags under his eyes making his way to the front of the crowd.
"Who the hell are you?" asked Katsuki.
"You know a lot people who didn't make the cut to the hero course had to into the other courses." Muttered the boy, "There's plenty here in General Education who are gunning for the Hero Course. And depending on the results… they can place us in the Hero Course… but you know what the means, that one of you will get transferred out."
Everyone stared at the boy in shock.
"But I doubt it will be that rumored Princes." Muttered the Boy;.
"What?" asked Star.
"The Princess that shouldn't be here… I don't know what she did to get in here…
But word is she has no plans to be a hero once she graduates… She only got in because she's a princess." Muttered the lavender haired boy.
Star glared at the boy and pointed her wand at him.
Izuku grabbed her arm.
Star sighed calming down and putting her wand down.
"Don't listen to him Wand Bitch." Muttered Bakugo, "That ass hole is just angry you got in and he didn't."
"Is Katsuki being nice to her?" thought Izuku in shock, then he realized that that there was no real reason for him to dislike her, "Oh right… she's not in his way…"
"So you're the Princess of Class 1-A." said the Lavender Haired boy, "Even if they won't take you out because of your money, I should tell you along with everyone that this is a declaration of war. I will prove to all of you that what happened was a just luck and the other courses will show you all."
"You better not lose to them!" yelled another boy.
They looked at saw it was a Silver Haired boy with strange things around his eyes.
"I'm from Class 1-B! And you better not lose to him!" yelled the boy.
Star just sighed and took out her scissors and cut open a portal.
"What the deuce!" yelled someone from the back of the crowd as that was the other end of the portal
"Whoever want to leave class! Do it now! Because I really shouldn't leave it open for long…" said Star who clearly having enough of the crowd.
"Star! You shouldn't have done that." Scolded Tenya.
"Whatever." Muttered Bakugo using the portal.
"Yeah… it's probably a good idea." Mineta following Bakugo through the portal as he wanted to leave too.
Tenya sighed as he went through the portal.
Izuku and Ochaco followed him.
"Is anyone else leaving or… okay… you're all good." Said Star.
She went through the portal as the crowd had looked at the students step through the other side of the portal.
"Why didn't she do that at the USJ?" asked Kirishima.
"She needed a pair of scissors and she didn't have them…" explained Tsuyu thinking that's how her "Quirk" worked unaware of the truth.
The four friends all walked together, with Izuku somewhat worried about that declaration of war from the boy.
But still the Sports Festival was two weeks away…
However something that should be said, a lot could happen in those two weeks…
Next Time: Star is going through Mewberty! A process that turns her into a boy crazy monster! Thankfully the school already had a plan to deal with it. Unfortunately something goes wrong and she is loose on the school. So it's up to the girls... and Mineta to stop Star and to turn her back. What will happen? Find out next time!
A/N: As you can tell, I'm taking advantage of the two week time skip to cover quite a few Star episodes... It does make sense to take advantage of the time skip... so yeah...
