Chapter 13

Tsukune, A wizard, and a Vampire

Ever since the revelation about Tsukune as a human being spread around Yokai Academy like wildfire, The entire school rose up in unison about wanting the human race to be exterminated thanks to Kuyo's words reaching out to them, along with his allegiance to the Order of Shadows. Miss Nekonome now stood before the school's headmaster in his private office as she had been told that the decision was final.

"Why!? Why would you tell me not to do anything for Tsukune!?" she cried out in desperation.

"It has already been decided Miss Nekonome," he said.

"Please tell me! What will become of poor Mr. Aono!?" she asked again.

"Assuming that his execution is swift and just, as it has been since the founding of this school. The keepers of fate informed me that his death was in actuality his one true destiny," replied the headmaster.

"But, you don't mean that!" she said, as her eyes fell to the ground.

"It has been written in the book of the stone," said a figure dressed in grey robes when he stepped forward.

"Yes, what has been written must come to pass, Artemus. But what if fate had another player that would ultimately change Tsukune's destiny?" the headmaster said with a hint of wonder and curiosity in his voice.

Outside in the execution grounds, Tsukune slowly opened his eyes to see the students he once respected crying out for spilled blood. The young man already knew that his friends had left him behind and would no longer come to his rescue. But secretly he knew that his meeting with Yozora, Moka, Kurumu, Yukari, Mizore, Gin, Ruby, and Miss Nekonome resulted in the creation of so many strong bonds that could never be broken. He started to laugh quietly to himself, making Kuyo turn and look at him in surprise.

"What now, are you actually afraid of death that you want to laugh in his face?" asked Kuyo.

"I have a favor to ask of you," said Tsukune.

"And what would that be?" Kuyo asked curiously.

"Once you have dealt with me, I want you to ensure that my friends' lives be spared from your wrath," the boy said to the leader.

"I suppose for a lowly human mortal, I can arrange that for you. However, seeing as I am a man of my word. I will spare you the pleasure of watching your friends be struck down and left to die at my hands after you meet your destiny, that is. I'm sure that all of you can make a newspaper that nobody can read at all!" Kuyo gloated with a victorious grin.

At the cliff where Yozora fought against Mr. Kotsubo, Mizore stood watching the water below her, and smiled sadly to herself. She knew that deep down she liked Tsukune, but her thoughts were about Yozora calling her a snow angel. She looked at the snowflake ring on her finger, remembering the time the wizard gave it to her as a gift for their first meeting, when she felt someone approach her and said that it was her turn to become the savior. The snow angel looked up and saw a raven hovering in front of her.

"Is it you?" she asked in bewilderment.

At a nearby bench near the pond where Yozora and Mizore spent some time together, Kurumu was sitting on it with her head bowed in shame.

"Please Kurumu, there has to be a way to save Tsukune. Look, I know that I never got the chance to say this last time, But i think what matters is that we shouldn't really care about whether we are humans or monsters, we must accept the fact that we are good or bad in this world. So I say this from personal experience, If Yozora, Tsukune, and I never met, I would be lost in the darkness. All my life, the ones who picked on me were the actual monsters. And the ones that stood up to them were Moka, Yozora, and Tsukune. Even though he was the human I was told to hate with every fiber of my being, It was because of my immature self," Yukari explained.

"Yeah, I know. And I understand that. But since you didn't know Tsukune was a human being, I hate both Moka and Yozora with all of my heart, even though hatred is what actually kills both Succubi and Incubi. We were all family, until Tsukune, Moka, and Yozora turned their backs on us when they told Kuyo what he really was, it was because they didn't even trust us enough about what was going on between them. And now, I can never forgive them for keeping the fact that Tsukune was a human a secret from all of us. What they did resulted in a group called the Keepers of Fate telling us that a human being we'd become friends with would meet an unfortunate end. If they had told us the truth, none of this would have happened! They are traitors! Those three are nothing but traitors! I wish they'd never been born!" Kurumu said sadly.

"Then don't tell them how you are feeling, tell them what they really need to hear," said the voice that spoke to Mizore.

In a temple that looked to have been made from stone, Moka and Yozora looked out of the window with a somber expression on their faces.

"I'm frightened Yozora. Terrified of what will happen if Tsukune does die," she said somberly as Yozora lay on a bed without his robe on him.

"Yeah, me too Moka. But the Keepers of Fate said that if we had all met him, he would die. After all, It's already been written in something they call, the Book of the Stone," said Yozora.

"I guess you're right, Yozora. I guess it's time for me to face reality, and accept that Tsukune's death was already destined from the very beginning," admitted Moka.

"But you aren't alone in this at all," the silver-haired Moka said when her spectral form emerged from the rosary.

When Moka looked at the doorway, it suddenly opened to reveal that it was Ruby Tojo, in the living flesh.

"Long time no see, Moka Akashiya and Yozora Ikeda," she said.

Moka and Yozora were both surprised, and a bit relieved that all their friends had found them, despite what happened.

"We felt a bit disoriented after the apparition magic Ruby performed to bring us to you," said Mizore.

"Yeah, but at least we're all back together again," agreed Yukari.

Both the wizard and the vampire were both relieved to see them. But as Kurumu was about to strike Moka yet again, Yozora caught his arm to stop her from striking her again.

"Listen, I know that you're angry at us for keeping Tsukune's humanity a secret from you, and we are both sorry about that. You and everyone else have every available right and privilege to hate our guts for the rest of your life," Yozora said as he averted his gaze from her.

But to everyone's surprise, Kurumu hugged Yozora tightly as new tears flowed freely down her cheeks.

"You're right, I have every right and privilege to hate your guts. But even though you kept Tsukune's secret from all of us, the anger I tried to hold back made me wish that you had never been born. But until we save Tsukune and defeat Kuyo, I'll find a way to forgive you for why you did it," Kurumu said to the wizard who hugged her back.

"That's the spirit," smiled Ruby as she revealed a brand new wand that was in her hand.

It had a silver metallic finish, and a white orb in the crescent curve.

"But how did you get it?" asked Moka.

"To make a long story short about how she got it, after we came back to Yokai Academy, She went to the headmaster's office and told him everything about what happened before. Then he decided that with her old wand now being used as a marker for Lady Oyakata's grave, he gave her a brand new wand to replace her old one," explained Yozora.

"Nice, but there's still the matter of saving Tsukune. After that we'll accept Moka and Yozora's apology," added Kurumu.

"And no matter what we are, nothing matters more than the burning desire to save those we love so dearly with our hearts. But, Yozora saying he likes to give the short version of some of the long stories I'll tell you all later, Operation save Tsukune is a-go," said Ruby.

"I agree, And we're glad to have you on our side," replied Mizore.

"Okay guys, Let's all share one more fist bump and save Tsukune," Yozora said.

This time the five friends placed their fists together. The time had come to stop the school police from wiping out humanity.

(This is it everybody, start playing Fist Bump from Sonic Forces for this next part)

Back at Yokai Academy, Kuyo soon told the students that the time had come for Tsukune's destined end to come to pass, when several ice crystals appeared in front of him.

"Hang on Tsukune, the cavalry's here!" Yozora said as he levitated down towards Kuyo, and blasted him back with his wind magic.

"At last you finally show yourselves," Kuyo said as he wiped the blood off his lip.

Moka signaled the two flyers to grab Tsukune, while she, Yozora, Yukari, and MIzore would hold back the remaining members of the security force.

"We may be committing an act of treason against this school, but just so you know, the only one who's truly evil is you!" Yozora said.

"That's right Kuyo! But what matters more than Yokai Academy, is family!" added Moka.

"And as Tsukune's family, we will fight for him, just as he's fought for us to stand by his side!" acknowledged Mizore.

"This time your evil ways will be coming to end!" finished Yukari.

"If you intend to go the same way as last year's newspaper club, so be it! Ginei Morioka would never tolerate what we had done, so we decided to make an example of his club, and threatened to have him expelled from school if he dared to start another club like the one you're part of! That was the last mistake he'd ever make!" Kuyo said furiously.

He motioned for his three followers to attack them, but Yozora blasted them all back with a full volley of elemental attacks that he knew to be their weaknesses. All the students were amazed by what they had done. They knew that the time to fight back had come at last.

"Blasted fools! You'll all pay for betraying us! Arius, the tides have changed! This school and everyone must be eliminated!" Kuyo shouted in anger as he charged after Ruby and Kurumu.

Yozora whirled around and saw that his best friend was in danger of being killed.

"Moka! Mizore! Yukari! Go help Tsukune! I've got this!" Yozora said as he drew his crystal blade from behind him.

"Good luck, Yozora!" called Moka, as she along with the witchling and the snow angel ran after them.

On the school rooftop Kurumu and Ruby had set Tsukune down, and informed him that he was safe. They saw that Moka, Mizore, and Yukari had also joined them and were relieved that he was all right. Moments before an argument was about to start, Tsukune told them that he was happy to be saved from certain doom by his friends, when he wondered where Yozora was.

"He's taking care of Kuyo's henchmen, but he'll join us soon," Kurumu told him.

"But you are already dead," Kuyo said from behind them.

Everyone looked to see that Tsukune had been impaled by a flaming lance in the heart. Soon he burst into flames and screamed loudly, making everyone look in shock and dismay.

"It's sad really, even though everyone else can't be here to witness this, but in the end, Destiny has already claimed him. And now Humanity shall die, along with all of these traitors," Kuyo said pridefully.

"Yes, let it be so," said Arius as he opened a portal to unleash the Order of Darkness upon the school.

Cradling Tsukune's charred form in her arms, Moka begged him not to die, just as Yozora appirated beside them. To his shock he sensed that Tsukune's life force was fading fast.

"Listen, everyone, don't worry about me. I'm just glad I met you all. I'm glad that I came to this school. And I'm glad that Yozora became my best friend in this world. There's just one more thing that I want you to do," Tsukune said hoarsely.

"Anything," Moka said through her choked sobs.

"Protect the newspaper club, keep them safe from Kuyo, and avenge me," Tsukune told them, his breathing starting to quicken as he pulled off the rosary one last time.

"We will Tsukune," Yozora said.

Then Tsukune's eyes fluttered shut, his breathing stopped, and the strength and life went out of him. But then Moka realized that her rosary had been removed, everyone watched as her silver-haired incarnation slowly stood up and turned to face Kuyo with pure anger in her eyes.

"At long last, the S-class super monster wishes to avenge her little human friend by killing me," Kuyo said with a calm demeanor.

"You will pay for killing Tsukune!" she screamed, and kicked Kuyo right towards another part of the school.

Yozora also followed suit, by firing a full volley of energy blasts right at the spot Kuyo was kicked towards.

"Everybody stand back," Moka said.

"Tsukune doesn't have much time left, but we have to protect him," added Yozora.

"What are you saying?" asked Kurumu.

"I'm going to give some of my blood to him, so that he can be healed by it," the vampiress told her.

"It's an interesting theory that hasn't been proven, but if it works, he'll be back to full strength. Vampires are able to regenerate from any and all manner of minor scars or scratches when they're struck by something sharp," explained Yozora.

But Kuyo jumped out of the rubble and revealed himself to be a fox demon, while Yozora slowly levitated into the air, his robes billowing behind him.

"Pathetic! There's no way that he can be healed by you or anyone else, although I must admit, your strength does surprise me, vampiress. However, your power is nothing compared to mine!" Kuyo said.

"Bring it!" Yozora shouted back, as he threw several energy discs at the head of the Security Committee.

"Behold the power of the flames of Hell!" shouted Kuyo.

Both blasts of power collided in a violent explosion, but Kuyo had fired another blast at them while Yozora was distracted by the first one. He was about to try to set up a barrier when Gin suddenly took the shot for them, and was sent flying back in a crumpled heap behind them. Yozora saw that he had protected them, and looked respectfully at the werewolf who protected his friends.

"I know I shouldn't call you guys idiots, but the biggest Idiot that's in front of you is me. I don't ever want to see my new family be destroyed by a bastard like him," Gin said, as he collapsed to the ground.

"Actually, Gin, We're all so proud of you for keeping our family safe from him. I think all the girls can see that you are a brave warrior, rather than a perverted fool," admitted Yozora.

Although they were surprised by what the wizard said to the alpha of their group, Moka placed her fangs upon Tsukune's neck and held them there as she began to transfer his blood to him.

"Poor little Morioka, I suppose in the end he chose to die for your family after all," the youko said with a proud smirk.

"You prick!" growled Moka from within her mind as she continued to inject Tsukune with her blood.

But her friends suddenly stood between her and Kuyo with their arms outstretched.

"You can leave this guy to us Moka, keep your focus on healing him," Yukari said.

"Even though we're afraid of losing Tsukune, we'd rather die for him than let him die for us," added Yozora.

"And that's how a true family should fight for him," finished Kurumu.

"Very well then, if you're all so adamant on fighting a losing battle, I'm more than willing to send you all straight to Hell!" Kuyo said with a mad grin.

"Then let's finish this," Yozora said and changed at him.

Kuyo decided to do the same, and stopped Yozora's sword with his teeth. He jumped back and started slashing at him with everything he had, then jumped back to another part of the roof. He swung his sword a few more times and placed both hands upon the hilt.

"Let's dance, asshole!" he said to the fox.

He lunged at him again, and swung at him much more furiously, while Kuyo tried desperately to swipe at him with his claws, and bite him with his fangs. Soon Yozora's body began to radiate with pure energy, as he leaped up and brought his own sword down upon him. Despite this, Kuyo blasted Mizore with a powerful fireball that sent her flying back and crashing down on the ground several floors below. Yukari was furious as she unleashed a full volley of tarot cards upon him with Ruby also unleashing several raven familiars while Kurumu distracted him long enough by having him fire fire balls at her from her mouth. Kuyo however incinerated them all and charged right at the two sorceresses, sending them flying back as well, but to his surprise he was pecked in the eye by a larger version of the raven familiars.

"Nice work you guys!" called Yozora, as Kuyo changed into a humanoid form, while still maintaining his flaming tails from his fox form.

"Ah, well now, I see you aren't as easy to kill as I thought. I don't even know how you managed to pull that off, but I have to admit, you're putting up more of a fight than I would have anticipated," admitted Kuyo, as the wizard landed between him and his friends.

"To be honest, I was a bit worried that you'd kill us off pretty easily, but seeing that you've underestimated us big time has made me realize something, Kuyo. Your allegiance to the Order of Shadows, has already made me summon some reinforcements of our own," said Yozora.

To Kuyo's surprise, another portal opened and soon thousands upon thousands of wizards dressed in white robes emerged from it.

"Say hello to the Preservers of Light!" announced the wizard.

"Impossible!" cried the firefox, as he fired a ball of red flames at him, which he deflected to the sky with his sword.

Inside the school, all the students and teachers were now running down the steps as fast as they could, while Miss Nekonome tried desperately to calm them down. They were evacuating the school so that it would not be destroyed by the Order of Darkness, until a figure dressed in a white robe appeared before them.

"You need to hurry, we'll keep Arius and his followers distracted while you evacuate the school," he said to them.

"Impressive, boy. But it's time to put an end to this farce for good. This is how your story ends," Kuyo said to them as he charged up a fireball made entirely of blue flames.

"Like hell it does, because Yozora and I are gonna end this battle by killing you," Moka said.

"So it seems you admit that trying to save that pathetic human mortal was nothing more but a pointless waste of time. But if I destroy you, then I shall be revered as a god, and a proud soldier of the Order of Shadows. Once I've struck you and Yozora down and spilled your blood, I will become the new headmaster, and have the perfect army to destroy humanity with it. And it will all be thanks to the both of you!" Kuyo said.

Moka charged at Kuyo and began punching and kicking him with all she got, but to Kuyo it felt more like a slap on the wrist. The others wondered what was to become of Tsukune, when Moka told them she had done everything she could to keep him from dying.

"No, Tsukune can't already be dead!" cried Yukari.

"The rest of the girls tried to deny it as well, as they felt fresh tears welling up in their eyes.

"I'm afraid he is! And soon you'll all be joining him. However, I thought you were actually strong, but looks like you've weakened yourself in trying to resurrect him with your blood transfusion technique! A foolish act like that always comes with a price! All humans are nothing but pestilence. They are selfish, greedy, self-centered, and arrogant beings who only care about one thing, THEMSELVES! In the end, the only salvation that we can give them is to save them from themselves by destroying this god forsaken planet they live on! And in fraternizing with that disgusting mortal, you shall die with him!" gloated Kuyo, as he punched and kicked Moka away from him, sending her sprawling next to Tsukune.

"The time has come for all of you to welcome Oblivion with open arms after I reduce you all to ashes, once and for all!" the fire fox said.

He soon unleashed a powerful burst of flames, right at Moka and Tsukune's now broken forms with everything he had put into this one attack. There was an explosion, and then there was nothing left of them.

"Farewell, mortal scum!" Kuyo said with an evil grin.

"Tsukune! Moka! NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" screamed Yukari, Mizore and Ruby.

"And now, you will all join them in hell together!" Kuyo said as he leaped up, and unleashed another gigantic fireball at them.

Yozora then dropped down to his hands and knees, as his grip on the sword Mizore had given him, clattered to the ground.

"It's over, We failed to protect them," Yozora said.

He felt that he was ready to give up, when time started to slow all around him, as he retreated deep into his mind.

"Are you just going to give up that easily, just because they're gone?" a voice asked him.

"You can't give up. The son that we raised would never submit to the darkness that easily," said another.

Yozora looked around him, until he saw two people approaching him in a gray void. One was dressed in a witch's outfit, while the other was dressed as a man of the church.

"Yozora Ikeda, you have powerful friends that would be willing to risk their lives for you and each other. You not only have our power, but also our will to never give up on those you cherish with your own heart," they said.

"Mom. Dad," Yozora said happily as he ran up to them and hugged them tightly.

"We are all so proud of you for making so many friends. But they have also become your family," Yozora's mother said.

"So, are you going to fight for your new family?" asked his father.

The wizard nodded at them, and furrowed his brow as he turned around.

"That's the spirit son. But remember that while we are a part of you, we've also become a part of your friends' hearts as well," Kairi Ikeda said to him.

"Yeah," replied Yozora.

"Also, don't forget," assured Shiro.

"I won't. Because I love you all," their son said with a smile.

Back in reality, the fireball suddenly stopped and exploded just a few feet away from them. When the smoke had finally cleared, Ruby saw that the fireball Kuyo had fired impacted against a strong barrier that Yozora had summoned from his own will power. Then, Kurumu pointed towards another part of the roof, Moka and Tsukune were standing on. When Yozora heard that, he got back onto his feet and called his sword to his hand, as if an invisible hand picked it up and moved it towards him. Although Tsukune was a bit surprised to see that he was holding Moka in his arms, he saw the vampiress smirk at him with a relieved look in her eyes.

"You really did take all your sweet time, didn't you sleepyhead?" she said, and flicked him on the forehead.

"No! This is impossible! How could you evade my strongest attack!?" Kuyo cried out in dismay.

But then suddenly everyone heard Yozora laughing at him, almost as if he had lost his mind.

"Because you failed to understand the connection we have with each other. It's something that you can't try to sever, no matter how much you try to turn us against each other! That is what makes us strong! As for how Tsukune's still standing, it's thanks to the vampire blood she injected into him!" Yozora said with a smirk.

"You cursed fools! I won't allow this to go on any longer!" screamed Kuyo as he charged at him.

"Come on Moka, we should go now!" Tsukune said to her.

"Don't worry, we're ending this together," Moka assured him.

"For all my life, I've done everything to preserve peace and keep order around this school! That has always been my calling! But if I can't have order, then no one!" Kuyo shouted.

"You're right! You cannot have order! Because you've transformed justice into vengeance and attrition!" said Gin as he pulled the firefox into a full nelson.

"How is this possible?" demanded Kuyo.

"If there's one thing you should know about werewolves, they're not just fast, they're also pretty strong!" Yozora said.

"You've let pride and ambition get to your head! You and your precious Security Committee brought nothing but chaos and death! And now, you've forsaken your rights and privileges about preserving order and keeping the peace!" Moka added.

Kuyo was aghast at what he just heard.

"It's time for you to know your place! Right here! RIGHT NOW!" shouted Moka, as she jumped up and over Kuyo, landed behind him, and kicked him high up into the air, as Gin let him go and jumped back from her, which of course did put Moka in a satisfactory mood.

Then Yozora jumped up at Kuyo and delivered a powerful upper double-kick right to his chest, sending him in another direction. Then he jumped up even further and looked the firefox right in the eye.

"And guess what, Kuyo! The one thing you failed to understand, is that my family is my true power!" Yozora cried out as he now had his sword in hand once again.

Kuyo smiled malevolently at him, as he summoned forth his own flaming sword. The Wizard swung his sword in front of him like a single-bladed windmill propeller, by gathering more energy into it, brought up over his head, and collided with Kuyo's sword. Suddenly, he saw his sword split apart into several more swords that looked very much like his own, causing him to look in shock and dismay. Imbued with the light from his friends' hearts, Yozora raced towards the first sword, grabbed it, and slashed at Kuyo. He did the same thing with the second blade, then the third, the fourth, the fifth, and the sixth sword, while Kuyo could simply do nothing to prevent it as he saw Yozora over head with his own blade in the sky above. The spectral images of the wizard struck him several more times. At last Yozora struck him with all the power he had with an attack he called, "Final Judgement." He landed in a crouch, rose back up as the six swords landed beside him with the blades now embedded on the roof. They vanished as he caught his own sword by the hilt and held it at his side, while he looked up at Kuyo one last time.

"This time you shall disappear, from our memories," Yozora said to him in a firm tone.

Kuyo looked down at him, then accepted that it was truly over for him, as the last remnants of the Order of Darkness were defeated by the Preservers of Light.

"And in the end, as the darkness takes me, I am nothing," he said as he fell down, down, down, and crash landed onto the school roof in a crumpled heap right on top of Gin.

Moka soon carefully picked up her rosary and placed it back onto her choker. She reverted back to her pink-haired incarnation, as Tsukune and the other students arrived to see what just happened. They saw that it was Kuyo, lying broken and defeated on top of Gin, as Yozora made his sword vanish in a flash of light, just as Moka collapsed into Tsukune's arms once again.

"It's over now! Kuyo is no more! Both he and his twisted version of justice have come to an end! And while you're all aware that Tsukune's a human being, It's time now for the security committee to change it's ways so that they can ensure that peace and harmony can exist between both Human and Monster! And although Moka Akashiya has beaten him, the credit should fall to Tsukune who allowed us all to clear his name, and ensure that no harm should ever come to any more human beings in their world! Therefore let this be an official declaration of a new era at this school! Therefore, I ask all of you to know that all humans must be treated with respect and kindness, not hatred and contempt, by following this old human saying: 'Love thy neighbor!' Do that, and Tsukune will accept the apologies you give him," Yozora said, as he walked off down the stairs with his robes trailing behind him in the wind.

All the students, and the teachers apologized to Tsukune for what they had said to him, and even added that the speech Yozora gave would allow them to see humans in a new light, as Kurumu, Yukari, Mizore, and Ruby followed him as well. They decided to raise him high onto their shoulders, as Miss Nekonome and a few students carried the unconscious Moka a stretcher to the school infirmary. Tsukune wasn't sure what to say as he was raised high up and heralded as a hero for inciting a change in the school police force, while poor Gin moved Kuyo off of him, and walked off with Miss Nekonome to help Moka get healed. After the celebrations took place, Kurumu told Tsukune everything that happened after he was struck down and left in a near-death state. She even went so far as to say that they had risked everything for him so as to ensure that she would never allow another human being to for their sake.

A few days after Kuyo's defeat, his henchmen all came to Yozora and apologized for the way they treated everyone at the Academy. But Yozora simply raised his hand to stop them from talking further.

"Please, you were all following orders, even if it was from a madman, who joined the Order of Shadows. But even still, the Security Committee needs to be placed under new management, so that any humans who come here should not be put to death on sight if they detect something different about them," Yozora said.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. But still, after Kuyo said that he would destroy the entire planet, we kind of had second thoughts about following along with his twisted plans. Therefore, we've decided that a new sheriff should be placed in charge of the Security Committee," said Deshi, who recently revealed that she was a Jiang-shi to them.

"One day there will be a new sheriff, but I'm not the one you should ask to be that sheriff. I think someone else should do it and ensure that peace, love, understanding, and respect are what make us all have a small trace of Humanity in our own hearts, no matter what we are in these two worlds," answered the wizard.

Kuyo's former henchmen nodded, and soon shook hands with Yozora, thus closing the gap between them. As he left, he gave them all a thumbs up to let them know that they all fought like true warriors, even though they were enemies in the past. He had just learned from a few students nearby that after Kuyo had been defeated, his powers had now been transferred over to Yozora, thus making his rank increase from A to S. When he arrived at the infirmary, he saw Moka slowly stir on the cot, and noticed Tsukune with a Bouquet of flowers near her. She was happy to see them both again as she smiled at them.

"Listen Moka, I'm really sorry I told everyone I was a human being. But even though you used all the power you had to save me from death, I thought you'd be lost to us forever," Tsukune said somberly.

"It's okay Tsukune, I'd still do it all over again to make sure that you'd be safe and sound, no matter what," Moka said as she slowly sat up.

Tsukune was about to weep tears of joy, but Moka gently wiped them away with her hand and flicked him on the forehead, just as her silver-haired incarnation did. Tsukune thought that he saw the Silver-haired Moka on the cot in the pink-haired Moka's place, and realized that he was starting to fall in love with the both of them.

"Come on Tsukune, you don't wanna look at Moka like that, it actually makes her want to kiss you," Yozora said as he slowly stood up and walked to the window.

As he did, the door slowly opened. In stepped Kurumu, Yukari, Ruby, and Mizore, all happy and relieved to see Yozora with them.

"Hey, Yozora. We wanted to bring something to Moka, but it looks like Tsukune managed to beat us to the punch," said Kurumu.

Yozora turned and smirked at them.

"Yeah, maybe so. But I did however obtain Kuyo's firefox powers after we beat him," admitted the wizard.

Oh wow! That's actually pretty cool!" squeaked Yukari.

"You think it'd be alright if we combined Fire and Ice to make a rainstorm?" asked Mizore.

"For you snow angel, anything," agreed the wizard.

"I also sense that your monster rank went from A to S after Kuyo's power transferred over to you," said Ruby.

"Wait, for real?" gasped Moka.

"Yeah, but unlike him, I won't use it for vengeance like he did. Rather, I'm gonna use it to protect all of you," said Yozora.

All four smiled as they hugged him, but Moka suddenly latched her lips to Tsukune's and held it there for several seconds, when they weren't looking. At first Tsukune was shocked by this, but he gave into the kiss, and gently stroked Moka's hair.

When the four girls saw this, they also asked for a kiss.

"You know what they say, 'You snooze, you lose guys,'" she said with a light giggle.

But then the five of them kissed Tsukune all over while Yozora just laughed and laughed.

"Oh boy, looks like he's gonna have his hands full if he does have kids with them in the future," Yozora said to himself.

After everything that had transpired, the headmaster had an announcement to make about the changes that would be happening at Yokai Academy. He explained that the rules about Human/Monster coexistence would be altered by having Tsukune be the first official human student, to serve as ambassador from the human world. He also said that anyone who spoke about what type of monster they were would also tell other humans to swear an oath of undying secrecy. When the assembly had ended, Tsukune saw Yozora standing by the bus stop and went up to him.

"I guess with everything that's transpired, Yokai Academy is gonna need some time to make a few changes to let humans be allowed to pass through the barrier unharmed if they're riding on the bus," said Tsukune.

"And I'm just glad the Preservers of Light rounded put down Arius and his goons for good," replied Yozora.

They soon heard the bus coming from the tunnel. The two best friends stepped aboard and were now riding through the tunnel together.

"I hear you also found out that the girls left a lot of kiss marks all over you," Yozora said to him.

"Yeah, guess I know now what it's like to be a family with them, and you as well," said Tsukune.

Once they had emerged into the human world, they stopped a safe distance from Tsukune's house and hopped off.

"If it's all right, I was wondering if I could crash at your place for a while," Yozora said.

"Of course you can, bro!" Tsukune said excitedly.

The two best friends exchanged a fist bump with each other, as they headed to the house together. Tsukune soon knocked on the door.

"Be right there," a voice said from inside.

The door slowly opened and Yozora saw that the woman who had opened it was Tsukune's mother.

"Hi mom, I'm home," he said.

"Welcome home Tsukune, and who is this young man with you?" the woman known as Kasumi Aono asked.

"I'm Tsukune's best friend, Yozora Ikeda, It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Aono," he said, and shook her hand.

She bade them come in and prepared tea for their guest who stepped in to the house.

"Kurumu sometimes asks me if I dream. 'Of course I dream,' I say to her. 'Everybody dreams.' 'But what do you dream about?' she asks me. 'The same thing everybody dreams about,' I reply. 'I dream about the home I've found.' She always laughs at that. 'But you don't have a home, you're just a wanderer.' That's not true, not anymore. I've found my true home. My journey is the same as yours, the same as our family's. It's taken me so much time; so much effort. But at last I know where I am. Where I've always belonged. Home, with my new family," Yozora said to his best friend.

Tsukune nodded in agreement. The two boys knew that their bond with the girls and each other was that of a familial bond that they hoped Tsukune's parents would understand in due time.
