Astrid's Pov:

It has been two weeks since Hiccup proposed to me and it has also been that long since we announced it to the Village and to Thalia. I don't know who was more excited about the wedding the Village or Thalia.

And since then it has all been about the wedding. Everyone is doing their own sort of tidying of the Village including their house. Everywhere I walked Vikings are still saying congrats on the engagement, which by the way I am sick of hearing.

I haven't seen Hiccup much in the last couple of days since he sent Bjorn and Ingrid back to the edge. I mean he come home at night-time, but he doesn't say much. I am guessing he is also trying to hide from the Village.

"Mummy," Thalia called to bring me out of my thoughts. "Yes, Honey," I replied. "Where is Daddy?" She asked me. "I am not sure Honey. He is probably busy doing things around the Village with your Grandfather." I answered with.

"Will Daddy be here soon?" She asked. "I am not too sure Sweetie."

"Oh okay." She said then went back to play with Stormfly and Bluey. I had bought Thalia to the cove for a couple of hours just so I could get away from all the wedding planning that my Mother and the Village have been putting me through.

So, we came here to relax a bit and for me to spend some time with my daughter. "Mummy come and chase me," Thalia called from the other side of the cove. "Okay, I am coming," I said getting up from where I was sitting and started to run after her which cause her to squeal very loudly.

We had played chase for about half an hour before I started to get tired. "Thalia come and sit down. Mummy has had enough of chasing now." I called out to her.

"Okay Mummy." Answered Thalia. She came running over to me and before I could even realise what she was planning to do she ran and jumped on to me making me fall backwards onto my back on the ground.

"You are a little troublemaker." I tickling her tummy making her giggle. After the tickling session, we sat there watching the clouds trying to make out pictures from them.

Hiccup's Pov:

I was out flying on Toothless trying to clear my head from all this wedding business. I was walking through the Village when all the sudden everyone kept coming up to me and kept giving me tips on how to make Astrid happy and how to be a good husband to her. The way they were carrying on it was like I have never been married before which I have.

I let out a groan. "Are you alright Hiccup?" Toothless asked me. "Yea I will be fine Toothless. Thanks for asking bud." I replied as we flew higher into the sky.

"I am just sick of everyone trying to tell me how to be a husband to Astrid," I said to him. "How do you think Astrid is feeling about this if you're like this now and it is not even your wedding day yet," Toothless said. "Good point there Toothless. I better go and see how she is doing. Cause I know she has been getting things said to her as well." I said to him then nudge him to head back to Berk.

Once we landed, I dismounted Toothless and started to look around the Village for Astrid and Thalia. When I could not find them in the Village, I decided to head back to the house thinking that she might have been hiding out there.

But when I got to the house no one was home. "Astrid and Thali aren't home, and they aren't in the village. I wonder where they are?" I said to Toothless in Norse. "Maybe they're in the training arena." Mentioned Toothless.

"Yea maybe your right Bud." Toothless and I then started to head to the Arena when we walked into the gang. "Hey, guys." I greeted them. "Hey, Hiccup." They all greeted back.

"Have you guys seen Thalia and Astrid?" I asked them. "Sorry Hiccup we haven't seen Astrid or Thalia," Fishlegs said. "Thanks, guys," I said before carrying on to the Arena.

When Toothless and I got to the arena I noticed that mum was there with Cloudjumper and some of the other dragons. "Hey, Mum," I said as I entered the arena. "Hello Son, what brings you to by I thought you would be hiding from the Villagers," Mum said to me.

"I was. But then Toothless said to me that Astrid could be having the same trouble as me with the Villagers, so I decided to come and find her and Thalia." I explained.

"By the way Mum have you seen Thalia and Astrid?" I asked. "I know she took off with Thalia about half an hour again and took Stormfly and Bluey with her as well. They headed towards Raven's Point." Mum told me.

"Okay, thanks, Mum. I know exactly where she is. See you later." I said before leaving the arena. "Bye Son." I heard from behind me. I mounted Toothless then took off. "Alright, Bud. Head to the Cove." I said in Dragonise. Toothless then speed towards the Cove.

Once we had arrived at the edge of the Cove. I could see Astrid and Thalia lying on the ground watching the clouds through a gap in the trees.

I watched as Astrid said something to Thalia causing her to giggle. I smiled at their interaction. Then I decided to step out from behind the gap and entered the Cove.

"So, this is where my two favourite girls are. I was wondering where you got too." I said as I walked into the Cove causing Astrid and Thalia to look up. Thalia took one look at me and jumped up from the ground and ran over to me.

"Daddy!"

I picked up my Daughter then carried on over to Astrid. "Hello, M'Lady."

"Hiccup. Where have you been?" Astrid asked me as I sat down beside her with Thalia still in my arms. "I had to get away from the Villagers otherwise I would have let Toothless blast a few," I said. She chuckled then said, "Same here. I brought Thalia here so I could get away and relax a bit."

"Astrid, what's wrong?" I asked her when I heard her sigh. "It is just that this was meant to be just a small wedding, but the Villagers have other ideas and I am over making decisions about everything." She stated.

"I know," I said wrapping my arm around her shoulders and pulling her into my side. She rested her head on my shoulder. "I am having the same problem. I will talk to Dad tonight and see if the Village can calm down and leave us alone to decided what we want." I added.

"So, on a different note what has my girls being doing since you got here?"

"Mummy and I played chased and I played with Bluey," Thalia told me. "Did you now," I said. "Huh, then we tried to look for pictures in the sky." Thalia also said. "That sounds like fun," I said.

"So, what is the plan for the rest of the day, since none of us wants to go back to the Village until later on?" Astrid asked me. "Well, we can stay here if you want too," I said.

"Can we Daddy, Mummy," Thalia asked looking between Astrid and me. "I don't see why not Sweetie," Astrid said pushing some hair out of Thalia's face. "Yay!" Yelled Thalia causing Astrid and me to giggle.

"Can we go swimming in the pond Daddy?" Thalia asked pointing to the pond. "Of course, we can Baby," I told her. Thalia ran over to the pond with a big smile on her face and started to take her boots. "Shall we M'Lady," I said standing up and offering my hand to her.

Astrid placed her hand in mine and stood up, then pulled me over to the pond. "Mummy help," Thalia called getting stuck with her boots. "Hang on Thali, I'm coming," Astrid said.

While Astrid was helping Thalia with her shoes and skirt. I took my armour off and my top. And laid them where we were sitting then headed over to my girls.

I slid into the pond as Astrid was taking her shoes and skirt off. And she slid in after me. "Daddy," Thalia called out. I turned to find my daughter standing on the edge of the pond with her arms out. I walked through the water and over to her. I then helped Thalia into the water.

I had to hold on to her as the water was too deep for her to stand up in. "Mummy look at me. I am floating." Thalia yelled out to Astrid. "I see that," Astrid said with a giggle and swam towards us.

"Daddy I want to jump in," Thalia said. "No Thali no jumping in," I told her. "But it is fun to jump in." She said. "Thali your Father is right no jumping," Astrid said agreeing with me.

"But why?"

"Because the water is too deep, and you cannot touch the bottom," I told her. "Aww."

"Thali don't pout otherwise we will get out and head back home," I stated, Thalia, pouted for another few seconds then she took that pout off her face. And we carried on playing in the water.

After our swim and once we had dried off. I knew it was time we got back to the Village as it was getting closer to Dinner time and it was also getting late.

"Come on we should be getting back to the Village before they send out a search time," I said to the girls. "Yea, I guess you are right Hiccup," Astrid said.

"But I don't want to go Daddy." Thalia moaned. "But we have to Thalia. It is nearly Dinner time. Plus, we can come back another day." I told her as I picked her up.

"Okay, Daddy." She said as she cuddles into me. I knew she was tired after her big day so she didn't put up much of a flight. I got on to Toothless as Astrid got on Stormfly. I placed Thalia in front of me and wrapped my arm around her to make sure she was secured. "Bluey come." I called to the blue Nadder.

Then we took off and headed back to the Village.
