"I take the Green Heart in my soul, and she becomes a heart card as well..!" Gaea declared, as the green girl's spirit appeared next to the dragon.
"A second heart card..?!" Tod asked, shocked, Ray's eyes also slightly widening.

Gaea said, tossing three cards. "Blue Heart..! Green Heart..! Red Heart..!" Gaea said, as the colorful girls appeared. "Green Heart's skill..!" Gaea then declared, moving Trickstar out of the soul. "I look at the top 3 cards of my deck, bind up to one of them...T-Then, one of my bound cards becomes a heart card..! I bind a Blue Heart, and move it to a heart card..!" Gaea said.

"Because I ride another DeVoid Enigma! Imaginary Gift: Force 2 again!" Ray declared, tossing it to the circle NaZO was on. "Then, I discard StryK to release the Generation Zone! Generation Stride!" He called out, as a pillar of dark energy engulfed Enigma, as it came out stronger. "DeVoid, DioVeD! Stride Skill!" Ray declared, holding his hand out, as dark energy engulfed Hateable spot and Shivering Bumble to swap positions! DioVeD's effect, as well! When rear guards move, I give 2000 power to DioVeD and a rear guard, then retire a rear guard that isn't where they started the turn! I give NaZO and DioVeD 2000 power, and retire Hateable Spot!" Ray declared, as a dark sphere engulfed the insect, before subsequently removing it from existence.

"Good. Now, swap it's position with Shivering Bumble." Ray said, grinning, as the two insects swapped place. "Then, you remember what happens, right?" Ray asked, winking.
"T-Tch...DioVeD's skill..." Rod answered.
"See? Was that so hard? I give the power to DioVeD and NaZO, and I retire Shivering Bumble." Ray said, simply.

"I call a third DeVoid Enigma, DeVoid Marionette, and DeVoid StryK." Ray added. "Then, NaZO's Generation Break 2, Manipulate." He declared, soulblasting. "I force Centipede to move to your Front row, on the left." He said, simply, as dark energy moved the insect forward. "DioVeD's effect. I retire Centipede, and give Enigma and DioVeD the power."

Now, call them." Ray said, holding his hand out, as Enigma forced the top 2 cards out, as Bombscissors and Ranpli appeared on the field. "Oh? A heal trigger would've been waiting for me if I didn't do that...I guess I was lucky to have made you call like that." Ray said, smiling, Rod stepping back.
"You...You monster..." Rod started, as Ray's expression turned blank hearing that.
"...Monster? Me?" He asked, tilting his head in confusion. "I'm just fighting my best alongside such a kindhearted person, for a team I genuinely felt could understand me. You, who do nothing but torment the weak, hide in the underground, and stack your decks just for a victory that was never coming to you in the first place, call me a monster?" Ray asked, Rod flinching. "If you want a monster, go buy a mirror...or better yet, I'll give you a live demonstration of what it's like to be on your own receiving end!" Ray declared, Gaea looking surprised at what Ray said, as Ray rested his units. "NaZO attacks your Vanguard! When InVOKER boosts, their other effect activates! Manipulate! I force Bombscissors and Ranpli to switch positions! DioVeD!" Ray added. "I retire Bombscissors, and give the 2000 power to itself and Enigma!"

"My only unit is a trigger unit...!" Rod said, shocked, as Ray held out a card.
"I put the Draw Trigger, DeVoid HoPE on top of my deck. After all, Tenebris is about manipulation, and creating their own path for victory. Just because your own field is in shambles doesn't mean I'm out of things to manipulate." Ray said, shrugging. "Oh, right, by the way, NaZO gains 5000 power." He told Rod.

"Oh come on, don't get mad at me for using a little trickery...Get mad at yourself for falling for it." Ray said, resting Enigma and StryK. "With a boost from StryK! Enigma! We've entertained these cheating underground bastards long enough! Generation Break 2! Manipulate!" He said, soulblasting, as Gaea turned a card in her damage zone face down for him. "Thanks, Gaea. That's sweet of you. With the cost paid...Enigma gets 10000 Power, and you cannot guard the attack with a Sentinel! In addition, If I've made a total of 5 or more rear guards move this turn...an extra critical! Not to mention, since Manipulate is active, StryK gained 5000 power for the turn." Ray declared, as the dark beings engulfed in energy.

"W-We can't stop it..!" Rod said, shocked, as Enigma charged up a large mass of dark energy.
"Then this is the end for you two! Enigma! Final Eclipse Gazer!" Ray called out, as Enigma blasted the insects, practically wiping them away from existence...as all that was left was the top card of Rod's deck falling into the damage zone, with no trigger in sight.
"W-We lost...to a bunch of brats..." Rod said, shocked.
"Well, now that that's taken care of..." Ray said, approaching Gaea, who flinched...before noticing Ray patting her on the head. "Good teamwork. I think you're gonna fit in just fine with those guys. Let's go tell them the good news." He told her, as Gaea slightly blushed, but nodded.
"R-Right..." She said, as Ray started to exit first.
H-He looked so scary back there...but now...H-He was acting so nice...He's not a monster...H-He's like a guardian angel, or something... Gaea thought to herself, before following.
