Myne looked down at the merchant she had chained at the height of her waist. "You really were good." She said as she walked her fingers over his naked chest. Her twisted smile spread wide over her face, made somehow all the more terrifying by her present baldness. "I really didn't believe you were anything but a merchant. That you were just running a job carrying things around. But you fooled me. Congratulations." She said and walked behind his head, she looked down into his frightened, chubby face and put her palms on his head. "I really, truly mean that, as one professional to another." She giggled and added, [Lesser Strength][Greater Tearing] She then gripped his ears with both hands, and ripped them off of his body.
He arched his back and screamed in pain. Myne responded only with laughter and looked over her shoulder to where Yuri stood patiently waiting. "Do you mind, my lady? You did say mental domination magic was an option…?"
Yuri waved to the flabby merchant, "Go on. He took my children. He must pay."
Myne hooked two fingers into his nostrils and yanked back, hard, forcing his head to tilt back toward her. "You hear that? I was a guest in the torture chambers here, the demon who loved to hurt me most, also messed with my head, used me in experiments, I was always partial to some pain… but they made me beg for it with joy… tell me what I want to know… and you won't share my fate."
The merchant let out a faint whimper, "Oh, and I'll start… low." She giggled and let his face go white with fear. His entire body shook like a leaf in the wind even before Myne picked up a bright and shiny saw.
"OK! OK!" The merchant shrieked like a frightened child.
"How did you kill the children, first of all." Myne demanded and laid the teeth of the saw on his chest, she slowly dragged it down until he started talking.
"Their magic! We wanted their magic! We were ripping their entire reserves out at once and storing the unused mana in crystals!" He shouted to the room. The empty walls of the otherwise empty room cared nothing for his confession, but Myne and Yuri looked at him with great interest.
"What for?! Myne snarled down at him, dragging the saw further down to his belly.
"To resurrect Clementine! Enough mana, and our fourth tier casters could have even used sixth tier, at least together, and could have brought her back, maybe even bound her to us!" The portly merchant gasped audibly as the teeth nearly reached his belly button. "It's true!" He shouted and nodded his head with frantic urgency.
"Fine… but why those targets, why… all, any of your methods?" Myne grimaced and dug the teeth of the saw into his plump flesh. "Go on, squeal, piggy…" She ordered with a hungry look, her lips parted slightly and for so long that a hint of drooling anticipation leaked out.
"I, well, the dogs, that was someone else, I just… there's a drop box, told me where to drop the kids, I wasn't the one who took the ones in the big areas, just the village fosters and country orphanages, and I dropped the bodies. Th-The drop box gave me orders and told me where to drop the brats when they were dead… and… and… and… well we stayed away from elves because humans are all we got orders for…"
"So how did you settle on taking them?" Myne asked with the saw at his groin. Sweat formed on his body and he tried very, very hard to inch himself away from the cold touch of metal. She looked at his body like it was food to be consumed, his jowls flapped and he squeezed his eyes shut so as not to see.
"After appraisal! I always waited two months before hitting an area again! We stayed in the Theocracy because… because we figured nobody would give a shit if brats of their dead enemies went missing! What elf was going to look too hard for a missing kid?! Especially a kid with no family to give a fuck about their rotting corpse?! And with the wild ones still out there in the woods, a random corpse would… it would just be assumed to be one of theirs! For gods's sake no! No don't!" He felt the metal dig into his flesh.
"Are there more, any who haven't been killed yet?" Yuri Alpha asked with a hand on his knee, she began to squeeze, her prim and proper eyes staring through his own as his face twisted in agony.
"H-How many dead so f-far?!" He gasped.
Yuri Alpha squeezed his kneecap. "Thirty-two."
He tried to shake her grip off, wiggling desperately, and failing miserably, she squeezed tighter.
"Three! There should be three! Stop it please!" He wailed and cried, pounding his bound fists on the wooden table he was secured to.
The thudding and pounding echoed around the otherwise empty room.
"Where?" Yuri Alpha continued.
"The dog man would have them! The dog man! All I know is he's south of Elferon!" The merchant pounded his hands madly as the grip began to crack his knee, "I don't know his name! I swear! I swear! He talks about hunting, takes care of the boys until one of the mages can get to him with crystals, then they rip the mana out, and he does his thing with the dogs, then at the drop point south of the city, I t-take the body to a drop point where my pay will be buried!" The merchant whimpered and then howled as the crack became a snap beneath every finger, he shrieked like banshee as Yuri Alpha turned his kneecap to powder.
"That's a big area…" Myne frowned and began to idly move the saw, ignoring his screams in her focus on the task.
Yuri's eyes twitched at the statement. "It is… it is."
Myne froze, and smiled a moment later. "My sister, Yuri, my bloodslut bitch of a sister caught the one trading the names, she's ready to bring him through to be questioned. Perhaps he'll be more useful."
Yuri gave a quiet affirming nod, and a moment later the gate opened. Through it sauntered a smug, satisfied Clementine dragging an elf with a look of terror frozen on his face.
Clementine kept her cheshire grin on her face as she dropped the paralyzed man at Yuri's feet. "It's done… Lady Yuri." She said, and explained all that had transpired.
"A vengeful elf… I don't know who will be less pleased. Neia, Zesshi, Enri… or the human population." Yuri Alpha said while staring down at the man who could barely twitch a pupil.
"Right well… are we done?" Clementine asked with a dismissive wave.
"No, no not quite, three survivors need to be recovered.
Blood from where Myne had absently sawed, began to run off the edge of the table, and dripped down the wood and onto the elf's horrified face. The groaning and blubbering of the fat little merchant serenading the polite discussion between the three free figures, quietly chilled the captive elf right down to his veins.
"Time we question this one then, isn't it?" Clementine asked with glee, "Can I do some stabbing? I haven't stabbed anyone or anything in far too long…" She giggled maniacally when Yuri Alpha stepped back out of the way.
"Be my guest. But tell me what I want to know. I want the one that hurt my children. And I want my children back." She said while folding her hands primly in front of her waist.
"Duet?" Myne and Clementine said in unison, and it was only because their victim to be was paralyzed, that he did not start screaming when the women started laughing.
