"Huh? What are you talking about?" Raven asked quizzingly.

"Raven, what do you know about the other ADF-11s? The other Ravens?"

Taking a minute, Raven put his hand on his chin, looking towards the ground.

"Hmm… Yes. I remember. Strangereal, my home. Destroyed and left in ruin by the Sirens."

"Well, Raven, the ADF-11s before you were developed in a Strangereal country called Belka. And Belka is famous for its advanced technology. Or, rather was is more appropriate."

"What does this country have to do with me?"

"Because a Belkan scientist created your forerunners. They were activated and destroyed on the last day of the Lighthouse War."

"Can you get to the point?" Raven said somewhat impatiently.

"Fine. You are an artificial intelligence, Raven. One with self-awareness, feelings and emotions. However, at your core, you are a drone. A vehicle that can either operate independently or under the authority of a controller."

"I think I know where this is going," Raven said.

Amagi nodded. "Raven, let me get in the driver's seat, take the wheel. In other words, control you. Defeat Observer and the Sirens using your body."

Raven gave her a concerned look.

"Don't you remember? This is why I waited so long to restore your memories, Raven. I wanted to learn how you fight. Your strengths and weaknesses. Your tactics and weapons. Now, I can put my observations to good use as I control you."

Raven sighed. "What'll happen to me afterwards?"

"I'll disconnect myself and return to being a cute voice and apparition in your head." Amagi followed with a giggle.

"Hmm. Alright. Not like I have much choice, anyway."

"Okay, hold still, and let me take care of the rest."

Amagi walked towards Raven and closed his eyes.

Meanwhile, a bright white light shot into the air. It was coming from Raven's body. Everyone stepped back, blinded by its radiance.

"What is happening?" Observer asked, shielding her eyes.

As the light died away, Raven's body, floated upwards. He opened his eyes and looked down into the water to see his reflection. His red eyes were gone, replaced by Amagi's purple ones.

"Looks like it was a success," Raven said. But he did not speak in his own voice.

"Amagi?" Kaga and Akagi managed to ask. The other Sakura Empire girls were aghast as well.

"Yes. It is me, Akagi, Kaga. Long story, but for now, I am in control of Raven's body."

"Even so, we're just so happy to see you," Akagi said, wiping tears and running towards her sister. They embraced.

"How is this possible?" Observer asked, a look of shock on her face.

Amagi turned to Observer.

"For utilizing me and the Orochi, you desecrated my very existence. For that, there is no punishment great enough."

Raising her hand, Amagi ordered the mass-produced Sirens she controlled to turn their guns towards Observer.

"Begone," she simply said.

The guns fired, blanketing Observer in a cloud of smoke and fire.

When it all cleared, Observer still stood, although she took some damage.

"What a joke," she stated before firing a salvo of energy blasts.

With almost no effort, Amagi dodged them all, by simply pivoting and rotating her body and head.

"H-how did you do that?" Raven asked. Now, he was the voice in her head.

"Told you," Amagi responded. "By watching you. Also, don't forget I'm a seasoned warrior myself."

Rocketing into the air, Amagi spread her wings and transformed. Observer gave chase, her tentacles trailing behind her.

Up in the sky, the sea was covered in orange explosions and black smoke as the Sirens and Azur Lane rumbled below.

"This war ends today," Amagi declared. She loaded her EMLs and unsheathed her sword-arm.

"No, Raven. Or should I call you Amagi? The only thing that is ending today is Azur Lane, humanity's pitiful and pathetic rebellion."

Amagi used her sword-arm to slash at Observer. Using her tentacles to keep Amagi at bay, Observer easily deflected her thrusts and blows.

However, one of Observer's tentacles extended out too far. This was the mistake Amagi waited for.

Seizing her chance, Amagi sliced off the tentacle. Observer groaned in pain at the sight of her missing appendage.

Amagi unleashed a salvo of ADMMs, followed by a large EML blast.

Taken aback by the fierce attack, Observer failed to notice that below, the girls readied the last of the Siren bombs.

Meanwhile, Amagi launched Hugin and Munin. They circled around Observer, holding her off with machine gun fire. Once it was time, Amagi recalled them back.

"NOW!" Amagi shouted.

Nodding, Enterprise used her bow to shoot the last Siren bomb up to Amagi. Catching it, Amagi quickly attached it to Observer.

"War never changes. There are winners and losers. And here and now, you are the loser. Begone, back to the hell you came from!"

Using her remaining strength, Amagi released her power. Her energy manifested into the shape a black bird, a raven. The raven streaked towards Observer and the bomb, pushing them both towards the portal.

"DAMN YOU, AZUR LANEEEEE!" she screamed.

The bomb detonated, deafening all and shaking the sea and land under its mighty force. The portal vanished into thin air.

The Sirens, shocked at the loss of their leader, retreated to the land. They scurried in terror.

"Let's end them!" Enterprise ordered, raising her bow.

Then, a hand placed itself on her bow, and lowered it. Looking to see, Enterprise saw Amagi, still within Raven's body.

With a gentle smile, she shook her head. "Otherwise, we'd be no better than them. They will be defeated in time, and once again, humanity will flourish and prosper in peace."

Accepting Amagi's words, Enterprise stood down and together, all the camps headed back to the island.

The next morning, Raven awoke, back in his body. His memory felt fuzzy, like he was fighting but didn't actually fight. Then he remembered Amagi took control.

"Morning. How are you?"

Raven turned his head to see Amagi sitting on a chair next to his bed.

"Tired. And a little scrambled."

Raven looked over his body and caressed his head, noticing his injuries were healed.

"While you were out cold, I ran some diagnostics and activated your self-repairing modules. Pretty cool, huh?"

Raven smiled faintly, lying back in his bed. Turning towards Amagi, he noticed a sad look on her face.

"Raven, while I controlled you, I used the last Siren bomb to take out Observer. However, the bomb also destroyed the portal. I'm sorry. I know you were looking forward to going back to your home."

To her surprise, Raven shook his head, signaling he did not wish to return, but rather stay. All he cared about was winning the war and protecting his friends.

"Does this mean… it's over?" he asked, sounding hopeful.

Amagi shrugged. "We shall find out. Oh, that reminds me, Enterprise wants to see you. If you're able to get out of bed, that is."

Groaning softly, Raven strained to get to his feet. Turning around, Amagi was gone.

"Shall we?" she asked in his head.

Putting on a spare jacket from his closet, Raven walked out and headed for HQ.

Entering the main room, Raven once found Enterprise behind her desk.

"Ah, welcome, Raven, or Amagi, I wonder? I hope you're feeling better.

"It's me," Raven spoke in his own voice, signaling he was back in control.

"Good. Anyway, I have good news. The Sirens are in full retreat."

Raven couldn't help but smile.

"They have no portal to use as an escape," Enterprise continued. "They're trapped here. It will only be a matter of time before they are eradicated completely."

Raven said nothing. Just complete happiness and bliss. A part of him could still not accept that it was over.

"Come. Let's go," Enterprise said, snapping Raven out of his daze.

"Where to?"

"To celebrate. The girls are partying out on my deck."

Together, the two walked to the docks. Dozens of ships were anchored as far as the eye could see.

At one point, Enterprise even held onto Raven's arm. It wasn't a romantic or lover's grasp, but one of comrades and close friends.

The two were greeted on Enterprise with thunderous applause and cheering. The sun was beginning to set, shimmering the sea and sky orange.

Enterprise and Raven separated, going their own ways to mingle with the girls. Raven found his way to the Sakura Empire ships.

"Raven!" Akagi called out. She gestured for him to join them.

"I'm guessing this is about Amagi?" Raven questioned.

Amagi nodded. "So, was that really her?" she asked.

Raven nodded. "She's now a part of my memory. Her soul and being has been transferred to my head."

"That's incredible," Nagato noted escorted by Mutsu and Kawakaze.

Raven nodded. "She can perceive everything I do. See, hear, feel, all of it."

"Is there a chance that she can come back physically?" Kaga wondered, joining in.

"Unfortunately, no," Raven said in a somber tone. The girls looked disappointed.

"Psst. Tell them I can take over your body occasionally. That way, I can visit sometimes," Amagi said, observing their sad expressions.

"Can you really do it? I don't want to give them false hope," Raven said quietly, hoping nobody would hear him.

Amagi nodded.

"Well," Raven said aloud, getting their attention. "She is able to take me over, so it's not like she's completely gone forever."

The five Sakura girls smiled slightly but hopefully. Perhaps things could return back to normal, after all.

"Hi, Raven!" Vestal said from behind. She held something in her hands, but it was cloaked in a drape.

"Oh, hey, Vestal. Still looking to do some research on yours truly?" Raven half-joked.

She shook her head. "With the war over, I think I have everything I need on you. However, I want you to have this, as a token of my gratitude."

Unveiling the drape, Vestal revealed a raven in a cage. Black and shiny. The bird looks quizzically at him.

"He's gorgeous. Thanks."

Vestal opened the cage door, and the raven flew onto Raven's shoulder.

"What should we name you?" Raven asked as he played with the bird.

"Hmm... Oh, I got it. How about… Odin?"

The bird cooed with approval.

Eventually, the two found their way back to Enterprise.

"Ah, so you have one too?" Enterprise gestured to Odin. Whistling, she called for her eagle to land on her forearm.

"Unicorn has a friend, too. U-Chan, I think she calls her."

Raven chuckled, gazing at the clouds.

"Raven, what have you learned in your time here?" Enterprise asked.

"Where to begin? How horrible the Sirens are. Who I am and where I came from. That I have a caring family here. But most importantly, that war never changes."

Enterprise remained silent, nodding and placing a hand on Raven's shoulder.

Transforming, Raven took to the sky and flew around the fleet. He, along with Hugin and Munin, performed an air show, wowing the girls. After a couple of minutes, he flew straight up.

He was just above the highest cloud when he reverted form. He hovered, gazing over the sunset. Closing his eyes, Raven felt the warmth of the dying sunlight along with the chilly air of the high altitude.

He felt Amagi behind him, and together, the two looked on as the sun finally sunk below the horizon.

Both the sea and the sky are infinite and never-ending, filled with joy, despair, rage, love, and adventure.
