Loud Murphy's Law

Law Spoilers

I'm back at it with another chapter. I finished this today (Wednesday, January 13) and debated whether or not I should wait until Saturday to release it, as that is my current schedule. I eventually decided that it isn't fair to you guys to have to wait any longer, so that's why you're seeing this now.

Just some reviews before we start

CapMorgan55: Your'e right about one of those guesses, but I won't say which one. Also thank you for the compliment on the song.

allanarcher777: Perhaps...or perhaps not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mr. Haziq: No, he was not part of one. As far as I know, the whole boy band is just a one episode thing. Yes, there are times where they show up in other episodes, but as far as I'm concerned they don't play a major role in the story, other than the occasional joke and amazing song.

avengersendgame426: Thanks for your support! Again I can never make promises that the next chapter will 100% be on the next weekend since high school is being a real problem for me, but if I ever do finish a chapter on the weekend, it will be released on that weekend.

Gamelover41592: Thanks and it's great to be back (even if I am a little disorganized in terms of chapter releases.)

OMAC001: Thanks. I knew it would be a problem if I didn't address it soon so I decided to do it in that chapter.

Also! BIG MEGALODON THANKS TO ASPERMAN1 FOR HELPING ME PLAN OUT SOME IMPORTANT FUTURE CHAPTERS! THANK YOU! YOU ARE A MAJOR HELP TO ME!

(Please note that I do not own The Loud House or Milo Murphy's Law)

Theme song:

Always picking up the slack

with everything in my backpack,

just to reach the bathroom all fine.

Leaping over laundry piles,

diapers you can smell from miles,

guys gotta do what he can to survive

With Murphy's law, With Murphy's law

Duck, dodge, push and dive.

This is how we stay alive

With Murphy's law, With Murphy's law

To make sure that nobody dies.

We're all living a crazy life.

Mur-Phy's Law! Murphy's Law!

(Poo-poo)

Lincoln walked into Lori's room to see that his dad and all of his siblings were there, with the exception of Leni.

"Okay, Leni should be occupied for a while. I told her she can communicate with Cliff by blinking" Lincoln said. Currently, Leni was downstairs continuously blinking at Cliff, the family cat. The Loud sisters and brother had called a sibling meeting without Leni as they didn't want her to attend the meeting for a very important reason.

"I call this meeting to order!" Lori said as she slammed her shoe like a gavel. Lincoln then turned to the audience.

"You're probably wondering why I distracted Leni. Well, we've tried throwing a few surprise parties, but it always goes wrong. And we all know why. And no, for once it isn't Murphy's Law." Lincoln said.

Flashbacks

Lynn was looking out the window when she saw something.

"Okay, she's coming. Everyone hide!" Lynn said as everyone hide behind something in the Living room. What they didn't know was that Leni was crouched outside. Lori then walked up to the porch when she noticed Leni.

"Leni, what are you doing?" Lori asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Shh! I'm hiding for your surprise party!" Leni said obliviously as a chorus of groans came from inside. The doorbell then malfunctioned, causing anyone who pressed it from then on to be electrocuted.

Lisa walked into the living room holding an open envelope.

"Siblings, I am perplexed as to why I have just received an invitation to my own surprise birthday party" Lisa said in her usual lisp.

"Oh! I sent that. I wanted to make sure you'd be there" Leni said with a wide grin as everyone groaned. The oven then blew up in the kitchen.

"No! The birthday cake!" Lynn Sr said from the other room.

Leni walked into Luna's room holding 2 dresses.

"Luna, should I wear the pink or blue dress to your surprise party?" Leni asked as Luna became annoyed at having her party spoiled.

"Dude!" Luna said angrily, to which Leni just raised a confused eyebrow.

"What?" Leni asked clueless as Luan poked her head into the room.

"I pink you just blue the surprise! Get it? But seriously, you doofed up." Luan said as she became serious by the end of her statement. The door then fell of it's hinges and fell onto Luan's head, knocking her out as she fell to the floor.

Lincoln was in his school after having been soaked by a water fountain. He reassured his friends though.

"It's okay. I have a dry change of clothes in my backpack." Lincoln said with a smile as Leni and Lori walked past them on their way to class.

"And that's good too. You'll need it for your sur-" Leni said with a smile before being cut off by Lori as she slammed her hand over Leni's mouth.

"HEY LENI! How about later today I show you that building that looks like an F?" Lori asked abruptly.

"Ooh! That would be totes amazing! I think I heard some people say that a pharmacist lives there" Leni said as she and Lori walked to off to get to class.

End of flashbacks

"Okay, that last one didn't ruin my birthday party but you get the point. And today is Mom's birthday. That means, as much as we love her, we've got to keep Leni out of it." Lincoln said as he turned back to his sisters.

"Okay let me break down for you. Lola and Lynn are on food, Lana and Lucy will do decorations, Luan and Luna will handle entertainment. Lisa will be in charge of the guest list, and Dad will get Mom out of the house." Lori said as Lincoln raised an eyebrow to not hearing his name.

"What about me? What's my job?" Lincoln asked Lori smiled.

"You have the most important job of all. You have to keep Leni distracted till Mom comes home. If she's coming our way, just yell a codeword. Let's make it "Murphia's Law." Lori said to Lincoln. As she finished her statement, Leni came in, which made everyone alerted enough to scream, to which Leni did the same. Once they stopped screaming, Leni spoke.

"Is this how we're saying hello now? I like it! Don't mind me, just getting my polish." Leni said as she walked over to her side of the room and grabbed her nail polish.

"Cliff blinked that he wants me to do his nails. Oh, by the way, It's Mom's birthday today. I was thinking we could throw her a surprise party." Leni said as everyone tried to defuse her plan.

"Uh actually, I don't think mom wants a party this year." Lori said.

"Yeah definitely" everyone else said in unison before walking out of the room. Lincoln then realized it was his cue to step into action.

"Leni, while you're here, I have some urgent fashion questions. Like if a sweater vest is a better fashion statement than a polo shirt." Lincoln said.

"Ooh. That's a tough one. We're gonna be here for a while." Leni said as she sat down in front Lincoln on the floor, prepared to go on a long rant.

Downstairs, the Loud sisters were watching Rita and Lynn Sr leave. Though, Lynn Sr was not being very discreet about it.

"Okay kids, we're leaving now! I'm taking your mother shopping because I love to shop!" Lynn Sr said in an extremely fake voice. After they left, Lucy broke the silence.

"We should stop including Dad in the surprise party planning too." Lucy said as everyone spread out so they could start decorating.

"And that is why it's better to play an accordion than a guitar if you're wearing a sweater vest." Leni said. They had somehow gotten into a conversation about what instrument you should play if you always wear a sweater vest.

"Wait, what material are sweater vests made out of?" Lincoln asked while out of breath. So far, a Frisbee had flown in through the window and nearly hit Leni, one of the legs of Leni's bed snapped off and nearly hit Leni and the closet door broke in half with the top half of it nearly hitting Leni. Every time something like this happened Lincoln had to push Leni out of the way. Even though it was nothing Lana couldn't fix, it was still annoying to have to keep Leni out of danger.

"Oh boy. Hold on, let me get hydrated before we continue" Leni said as she walked out of the room, somehow oblivious to every Murphy's Law outcome that nearly hurt her. Lincoln eyes went wide as he stuck his head in the hallway to try and warn the others.

"Murphy's Law! I mean Murpha's Law! The heck was that word?" Lincoln said as he realized he forgot the code word to warn his sisters.

Downstairs, Lana and Lucy were putting up some decorations when they saw Leni comming. In the heat of the moment, they started hiding decorations and Lana popped some balloons. As Leni came down, a balloon whizzed out some air, causing Leni to think she passed gas.

"Oh sorry guys. Must have been something I ate" Leni said as she walked to the kitchen. In there, Lynn was making a sandwich for the party and Lola was making the birthday cake. Lynn and Lola saw her coming and got rid of the party stuff. Lynn slapped her sandwich away and Lola sat on the cake in a moment of desperation. Leni didn't take note of it and instead went and got a glass of water. As she was walking away though, she broke the silence of the room.

"Ooh! Lola, your cake chair just gave me an idea. Even if we're not throwing Mom a party, maybe we should make her favorite cake" Leni said cheerfully. Lynn was quick to defuse the situation.

"No." Lynn said with a deadpanned look. Surprisingly, Leni just shrugged this off and turned around.

"Murphia's Law!" Lincoln yelled in front of Leni, now remembering the code word.

"Who the heck is Murphia?" Leni asked as Lincoln just sighed.

"No one. Come on" Lincoln said as he led her back to her room.

"Well that cover's everything!" Leni said cheerfully. They had gone back to Lori and Leni's room to resume their mostly one sided conversation. Eventually, Leni covered her room with different types of fabric. The fabrics were all ripped too, since Murphy's Law kept causing sharp objects to fly around the room, usually cutting the fabrics.

"I'm gonna go gossip with Cliff" Leni said as she started to leave the room, to which Lincoln instantly became alarmed.

"Wait! I wanna model for you!" Lincoln said before immediately regretting it. He just thought of a random excuse, but out of all the excuses he could have come up with, this one wasn't his favorite. Leni gasped in delight as she ran to get supplies in her closet.

"My sisters owe me big time" Lincoln said to himself.

Out in the hallway, Luan and Luna were getting their stuff for the party out of their room, but they accidentally closed the door very loudly, to which Lori took notice.

"Keep it down guys. Leni will hear" Lori said from the bathroom as Luan and Luna both nodded and started tiptoeing down the hallway. Unfortunately, Luan's joke teeth fell to the ground, causing Luna to trip over them, dropping her instruments and creating a a lot of noise. What's even worse is that Leni managed to hear the commotion.

"What was that?" Leni said with a raised eyebrow.

"Nothing! I didn't hear Luna drop her cymbals!" Lincoln said quickly before he realized what he said. He also didn't notice that Leni was making her way to the door until she was halfway there.

"Murphia's Law!" Lincoln yelled as Luan and Luna both hid their stuff before Leni could see. Thankfully, Leni didn't take notice and obliviously walked past them. Lincoln then rushed out of Lori and Leni's room, slipping on one of Luna's drums, causing him to fall down the stairs.

"Murphia's Law" Lincoln said, still slightly dazed from the fall. Lucy and Lana heard him and quickly got rid of their decorations.

"Lincoln, you need to get your proverbial act together" Lisa said, slightly irritated.

"Yeah. We'll never get this done if we have to keep starting over" Lucy said in her monotone voice. As she said this, Leni came downstairs and took notice of Lincoln.

"Are you okay Lincoln? If you want to jump down the stairs, I have parachute pants." Leni said as she noticed a popped balloon on Lana's hat.

"Oh Lana, those popped balloons on your heat just gave me an idea. I know we're not having a party, but shouldn't we at least do a little decorating for Mom's birthday?" Leni asked Lisa instantly yelled "No!" Lincoln then got an idea on how to distract Leni.

"But you know what we could use? A card! One with a camel in a space suit, that's also scratch-and-sniff. Oh! And it has to say 'Happy birthday from your 11 kids'" Lincoln said, purposely making the card very specific and outlandish in hopes that Leni will have a harder time finding one like it.

"Totes adorbs! But where would I find one?" Leni asked as Lori took out Leni's phone and put in a random location on google maps before handing the phone back to her.

"9297 Polly Parkway?" Leni asked as she read the location with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah! I've been there! They've got everything! You'll definitely find it!" Lori lied. The truth is she had not even heard of the place, much less if it was a store, but when she saw the picture of it on Leni's phone, she assumed it was safe enough for her to walk to.

"That's a bit far, but it's for Mom and she's totes worth it. Bye!" Leni said cheerfully as she left. When they were sure she was gone, Lana celebrated by locking Lincoln into friendly noogie.

"Nice thinking, big brother!" Lana said cheerfully as they heard some more balloons pop from the kitchen due to Murphy's Law. This prompted Lori to take charge.

"Okay, we lost some valuable time but we can still do this. Everyone back to work!" Lori said as they all went back to what they were doing.

As time went on, the Loud sisters and brother were preparing their Mom's birthday party. It was a bit difficult with Murphy's Law causing hi-jinks, but it was nothing Lincoln couldn't handle. When they were finally done, they were all waiting for Lisa's guests to arrive. Eventually they did, but when Lisa opened the door, they were all shocked with who the guests were. The first was Flip, who was anything but nice.

"How do! Flip has a policy of never showing up empty-handed, so here!" Flip said as he handed Lisa his 'gift'.

"Expired Milk? Gee, how thoughtful" Lisa said sarcastically while deadpanned, though Flip didn't notice.

"You're welcome. Now where's the grub?" Flip said as he walked towards the kitchen. The next guest who entered was their neighbor, Mr. Grouse. He didn't even bother to greet them as he just walked over to the Living room couch and turned on the TV. The last guest to come in was Dr. Feinstein. He greeted them by tipping his hat and giving Lisa a toothbrush. Everyone stared at Lisa for a moment before Lucy asked the question that everyone had on their minds.

"How in the world did you come up with this abysmal guest list?" Lucy asked.

"According to my algorithm, the people Mother encounters the most are her employee, our cantankerous neighbor, and the owner of our local convenience store." Lisa said, oblivious to how terrible the guest list was.

"Just because she encounters them doesn't mean she likes them." Lucy said.

"Well just because she uses toilet paper doesn't mean she'll find it as a suitable party decoration" Lisa said as she pointed to the decorations. There were some 'streamers' that were just pieces of toilet paper that had been used by Lucy after she ran out of streamers.

"I told you we should've just stuck with my brown balloons" Lana said, slightly irritated.

"Yeah, because everyone wants their party to look like Cliff's litter box" Lynn said sarcastically at Lana. Luan then came downstairs to add to the conversation.

"Hey guys, I got some great jokes for the party. Boy! Mom is so old, her social security number is 1! I would have invited guests for Mom's birthday party, but they're all extinct!" Luan said, giving some examples of her jokes.

"I don't think Mom wants to hear jokes about how old she is" Lori said with a deadpanned expression.

"She's got a point, dude. Why don't we just stick to my jams for entertainment?" Luna said as she started playing her guitar while screaming loudly. A few seconds later Lola unplugged her guitar.

"Mom is going to hate that! It'll make he ears bleed!" Lola said rudely to Luna.

"Right after her teeth fall out from eating your cake!" Luna said. When Lola was making the cake, she used an extremely high amount of sugar. As their argument continued, Flip came back with a sandwich that Lynn had made. What he didn't know was that Lynn had put a large amount of hot sauce on it, so when he took a bite out of it, his taste buds started burning. He acted quickly and drank the expired milk from Lisa in an attempt to cool off, but he ended up spitting it out do to it being expired.

"Lynn, what did you put in that sub? You're going to burn off Mom's taste buds!" Lincoln said to Lynn, who gave no remark other than looking to the ground in shame. Suddenly, they were all screaming their arguments to the point where they didn't even realize that a picture of their Mom had fallen off the wall due to Murphy's Law, causing the glass to crack. Lori realized this was getting out of control and took charge by whistling loudly, to which everyone stopped talking immediately.

"Guys, stop arguing! You're missing the bigger picture here! This party literally stinks." Lori said while deadpanned at the end of her statement. Everyone then realized that Lori was right.

"Wow...you're right" Lincoln said as he noticed the bad party they had currently.

"This is a mess" Lola said sadly.

"Wait a minute, how did this happen? We're smarter than this." Luan said as everyone could only shrug at the question.

"We've never thrown a bad party before. Are we missing something?" Luna asked.

"Yeah! A decent sports channel!" Mr. Grouse said while cycling through channels on the TV. And then suddenly, it hit Lincoln what caused this, causing him to gasp.

"It's Leni! She may spoil all the surprises, but she's the only one who knows how to throw a good party" Lincoln said to them as they all started realizing that what he said was true.

"Lincoln's right. Leni actually thinks about what people like" Lucy said. Lori then picked up her phone in an attempt to call her.

Meanwhile, Leni walked out of the lobby of what was an apartment building. She was oblivious to the fact that the building wasn't a store and eventually, she knocked on a random door, to which a teenager in black clothing came out. After a little bit of an explanation, the girl gave Leni instructions to the nearest mall so she could get the stuff she needed.

As she was walking to the mall, she looked up and saw what looked to be a flying car that was driving away from the building she just exited.

"Hmm." Leni said as she went deep into thought about the vehicle. She was so deep in thought that she didn't hear her ringtone from her phone.

After hearing the phone ring again, Lori gave up and just hung up.

"She's not answering!" Lori said to everyone.

"We have to go get her!" Lincoln suggested as they all heard a knock at the door. Lisa opened it to see Eliot standing there.

"I was told there would be free pizza?" Eliot said as Lisa gained a deadpanned expression.

"No" Lisa said blankly. she then kicked the other guests out before they all got in the family van (now that it was finally fixed) and drove off to find Leni.

Unfortunately, when the Louds came back to the house, they hadn't found Leni.

"I guess we really blew it. We couldn't find Leni, and now we can't give mom a decent-" Lincoln said as he opened the front door the home for his sisters, to which he found all the lights off. He flicked them on to which he was greeted with a nice sight.

"Surprise!" Leni yelled. She was holding a present, different decorations were set up, their mother's favorite music was playing in the background and all of their relatives were there. (with the exception of Albert)

"Oh, it's just you guys. Hurry up and hide. Mom will be here any minute!" Leni said excitedly as everyone gained a confused expression on their faces.

"Leni, what's going on?" Lori asked.

"I found all of this stuff at the store and decided I just had to buy it! I mean, doesn't mom deserve a birthday party?" Leni asked as she gave a card to Lincoln.

"Oh, and I found that card that you wanted" Leni said. To Lincoln's surprise, the card was exactly what he requested. Suddenly, they heard Lynn Sr. outside.

"Alright! I guess I'll put the key in and open the front door now!" Lynn Sr. said loudly. As he opened the door for Rita, the kids all jumped out and yelled "surprise" to which Rita gasped joyfully.

"Oh my goodness! Kids, you've really outdone yourselves. You remembered that Violet is my favorite color!" Rita said with joy as she looked towards the decorations.

"I also made pad thai and German chocolate cake for desert" Leni said happily.

"Thank you so much kids. This is the perfect party" Rita said happily before she noticed something on the ground. She went over to it and picked it up to see that it was a cracked photo of her on the ground. Lincoln took notice and walked over to her.

"Sorry Mom. I guess none of us noticed that" Lincoln said apologetically.

"Oh, don't worry. This should be an easy fix." Rita said as she casually hung it back up on the wall. They then heard the music stop due to the radio it was coming from short-circuiting.

"Lincoln!" Everyone yelled in slight annoyance.

"IN THE LOUD HOUSE!"

Yay! That's done with...Finally. So, next chapter I'm gonna skip "Smooth Opera-tor" simply because I see no point to it, and I can't seem to fit it well into the story. It would kind of just be like the normal episode and I don't want that. I want it to be at least a little different and since I can't figure out a way to make that happen, I'm gonna skip it. So instead, the next episode will be "Worked Day." And before you ask, Yes, that teenager was Vanessa. However! Leni did not see Doofenshmirtz in his apartment! She only talked to Vanessa. And their interaction today will be the only connection to Phineas and Ferb for a while. Until next time, take care.
