"So I wanted to see some rare Nene Geese," Mya started.

"Did you say 'nene'?" Myles asked. Mya nodded, and he shook his head in reply.

"I'm sorry, I didn't get that." Sue said. Mya fingerspelled it for her.

"Anyways, I got a tip for a specific location, and when we got there, there were two men stealing a goose!"

"Maybe they were just taking it to be tagged? They do that with rare animals." Tara suggested.

Mya shook her head. "No, this was pure abduction. They said that they were going to come back tomorrow for another one, and we devised this plan to catch them."

"Catch the goose, or the men?" Maddy asked.

Mya glared at her sister. "The men, silly!"

Maddy lifted her arms. "I'm just trying to follow!"

"What do you propose we do? This is definitely out of our jurisdiction." D asked.

Mya nodded. "Yes. I just want to collect the information, then hand it over to the right people when we have enough evidence."

"So what are we doing?" Jack asked, tired of the suspense.

"Well, they took the goose on a boat. Josh and D, you're going fishing."

"Haven't fished in a long time. It'll be good to be back at it." D replied, satisfied with the assignment.

"There's a little tiny micro island about a mile off the coast. You'll fish over there, it has a perfect sightline, and hopefully they will not notice you guys, or will just let you alone. We will attach a GoPro to the boat, and will record them. Once they come, grab the goose, and start boating away, you guys will pretend like you're looking for a new fishing spot, and follow them, still recording them, to see where they go."

The two men nodded, knowing their task.

"Jack and Bobby and me and Tara will be at the ready in the car, one pointing to the east, the other to the west, waiting for Josh and D to say which way they are going. We will be the land team, ready to follow them once they get off the boat. Sue and Myles will be at the ready as backup, and if we need some lipreading done. If they can't get to us beforehand, we'll just have her review the recording."

Sue nodded. "That's fine Just make sure you record as zoomed in as possible."

Mya nodded. "Of course. Once we get all the information we can, we'll take it to the police, the men and their operation served to them on a silver platter."

"What about me?" Howie asked.

Mya racked her brain. Then she got an idea. "You can be home base. We will call you if we need anything. This is a very important job, and if you don't hear from us by dinnertime, call the police because something bad happened, OK?"

Howie saluted, as if he was in the army. "Yes ma'am!"

Mya laughed, relieved he was satisfied with his mission.

"Well, what are we waiting for? We need to catch these goose stealers!" Bobby replied, hyped up.

"Hold on, Superman. Let's eat dinner first, OK?" Darcy said, trying to keep him at the table.

"I guess you're right. We should eat first."

Darcy smiled. "Yes. Then you can save the geese!"

The next morning came fast and furious, and the undercover team got ready for their mission.

"It's a good thing I bought these." Mya mumbled as she unpacked the GoPros. She had originally bought them for her, Maddy and Josh to go swimming in the ocean, but they were getting a mission first before pleasure. Once she set them up, she was ready.

"So you all ready?" She asked as she walked into the hotel lobby, where everyone else was waiting.

"Always ready for an adventure!" Bobby replied, still hyped up.

Myles shook his head, a bit annoyed. "Earth to Manning, the flights' over. Come back to land."

Everyone laughed hysterically. The comment was so not Myles, but it did fit the situation perfectly.

"Your Mayday is here!" Howie exclaimed, coming up to the group.

Mya smiled. "How about you go wait in the garden? That way you can do two things at once, enjoy Hawaii, and help us!"

"Alright! See you later!" Howie replied as he bounded off to the hotel's garden.

"THANK YOU." Josh replied.

Mya laughed. "Let's go."

Since most of the group was working on their undercover mission, the rest decided to take a tour bus around the island, seeing the best sights.

"This is nice." Carla said as they rode in the bus. Because their group was 10 people, they had a private tour, something that only could be said during a pandemic. "Except for the mask. It's far too hot for one!"

"I agree. Maybe we should start a rebellion. No masks in Hawaii!" Darcy exclaimed.

The tour guide and bus driver laughed. "Can we join you?" The guide asked.

"Yes!" Lucy replied.

"No masks in Hawaii! No masks in Hawaii!" They all chanted, having fun. It wasn't logistical, but it was fun nonetheless!

"I wonder how they're doing," Carla mused, worried for her daughter.

"It'll be OK. I just know it." Bob replied.

She smiled at him through her mask.
