Asuma went into the Hokages office to see his dad about what he told his team. "Hey dad I have a request it's about my team?"
"What is it son?" Asked the aged Hokage, Asuma had a look on him the same look Asuma had when he asked to be part of The guardian shinobi 12.
"I would like to have Naruto, Ino, and Shikamaru to stay at the compound for a 1 month training session. No missions just training." Asked Asuma.
" I'm inclined to say yes if you can give me a good reason. Do you see hidden potential in these three?.
"I can see alot of your old team in them the legendary Sannin Shikamaru is an excellent tactician like Orochimaru, Ino can be a gifted healer and keeps the other 2 inline. And Naruto is a ninjustu specialist with his massive reserves he'll be able to take on quite alot of enemys but they need the right training.
"So are you saying we have another Sannin squad".
"That's why as a jonin sensei I want to bring there potential out".
"Very well have them over but I have one condition"
"What that?"
"They have to survive 5 minutes in a sparing session against me". Asuma eyes widen he didn't expect that but he had faith in his team.
Asuma bowed and went to go pick up his students. His first stop was at Inos. He knocked on the door and was greeted by Inoichi. "Ah Asuma come in". Asuma walked in and was offred coffee by Inoichi. "Ino has told me about the one month training session. But what will she be learning?"
"I'm going train her to be a medic one of my clan members wanted someone to train i told her about Ino and shes more then willing to train her". Explained Asuma taking a cigarette out of his jacket.
"She'll be ready in a few minutes I'll drop her off at your compound when she's finished."
Asumas next stop was Shikamarus he knocked on the door and was greeted by Shikamarus mom Yoshino. "Asuma it's so good to see you Shikamaru said he'd be getting training for a month session but he didn't say where he'll be staying can he stay here?"
"Unfortunately no the point of this traing is building bonds with his teammates and train together".
"I guess that's ok but he will be training not cloud watching". I already threatend him to train harder he got the point I'll send him to your compound".
Now the hard part Tsume was very protective of Naruto or any of her children so it would take some talking to. He was about to knock when he heard a loud "What". "I guess Naruto told his mom".
Asuma knocked on the door when he heard a loud "Come in". As he walked in he saw Naruto was rubbing his head. That's when Tsume got up and walked up to Asuma and said "So let me get this straight you want to bring my son away from his family for a month".
"There's no easy way of saying this but yes but that's only because I see potential in this team to be even better then the Sannin."
"I'll agree on one condition" Asuma sighed he kinda figured that was going to happen.
"What the condition?" Asked Asuma hoping it's not a big favor.
"I want Naruto here every Sunday morning all day. Got it?"
" I can do that don't worry he'll be well trained I promise".
"Naruto time to go your teammates are waiting at the compound."
"Ok Asuma-sensei. Bye guys I'll see you Sunday".
Now that Asuma got all the kids parents on board him and Naruto walked to the Sarutobi compound and was greeted by Ino and Shikamaru. "Good you're all here let's go and see your opponent for tomorrow".
"What opponent?" Asked Shikamaru. Both Ino and Naruto nodded in agreement.
"Let's just say it's a test to see if you guys are worthy of my praises I've said so much about".
They were walking towards Asumas house he lived near the forest in the far north side of the compound. Asuma unlocked the door and told them to pick a room the come down stairs. The trio picked a room and went downstairs to see not just Asuma but Hiruzen the third Hokage as well
The three bowed and said "Hokage-sama." at the same time. The Hokage puffed on his pipe and said "So these are my opponents tomorrow?"
They all paled at that and Naruto gaining his voice "Were supposed to take on the freaking Hokage.what kinda test is that".
"Naruto-kun do you not have faith in your and teammates abilitys?"
"That's not it your the strongest ninja in the village how are we supposed to take you on?"
" I guess I'll have to tell you why I wanted to train you for one month staright". Ino and Shikamaru perked up.
"The reason I want to train you is because I think you three have the potential to become even better then the legendary Sannin".
"Asuma has told me about your strengths and weaknesses and when Asuma told me the similarities between you 3 and my old team I couldn't help but think that we need more powerful ninja in this trying time".
"I'm honoured that you think so highly of us we'll try not to disappoint you." Said Ino respectively.
"Now you'll be fighting me tomorrow so stay together and come up with plans and see how well you can do on a prepared opponent".
Not my best chapter but I'm still thinking on what to do next stay tuned for the fight.
