Chapter 16
Alone once again…
Fallon's point of view.
I hate the fact that I lost.
Like, seriously!? Can't I be good at surfing too, as well as everything else?
I let off a sigh filled with shivers while pulling the aqua towel around my shoulders even closer to me.
I lift my head to take a quick glance at Felix from where he's standing on the sand with the sun shining on his dirty-blonde hair with glorified charm.
Brian appears to be talking about something with Felix, his brown hair blowing softly by the wind.
I pout slightly at the thought of me being all alone in this current moment.
"It's nice to know that people care about me." I sarcastically grumble beneath my breath.
The wind blows shivers against my knees, resulting in me snuggling deeper into the towel.
"This sucks." I breathe out weakly.
"Hey, Fallon!" Sapphire's voice calls to me from where she's standing in front of me with a bucket of hot chips in hand.
"Sorry I hadn't showed up sooner, I left to go to the canteen that's not too far from here to buy you a warm snack." She hands the chips to me which I gradually hold; the heat warming up my hands. But my hair drips drops of water onto my thighs, causing me to shiver all over again.
Sapphire frowns in response, grabbing the towel off from my back and placing it onto my head; rubbing it furiously through my hair to dry it quicker.
I feel awkward about the position, but it ends quicker than I expected when she lets go and sits the towel back on my shoulders.
"Much better." She praises sweetly before sitting next to me on the sand.
I grab a chip from out of the bucket and eat it, my thoughts thinking about how pathetic I looked out there.
"So, Fallon.." Sapphire begins cautiously. "Have you got any homework that you're in need of doing?"
I scoff in reply to her question, my mind only thinking about how that question should be directed at Felix and not me.
"No." I state bluntly, earning a surprised look from her.
"Really!? Oh, well..." She pauses with her sandals digging into the golden sand nervously. "I've been needing some help with my history work, and if you're free— I'd really appreciate it if you helped me."
I stare between my thighs for a few seconds, not really knowing what to reply.
When the silence becomes too awkward, I aim to break it, but have it broken for me.
"Hai Fallon!" Two girls squeal from the sandy staircase that leads to the beach.
I lift my head up to look into the direction of the voices, but the two girls are already standing in front of me before I could even do so.
"Fancy seeing you here of all places," Ivy mutters with a cheeky tone. "I would've expected you to be at the library or something." She finishes off with a quick look over at Sapphire.
"Who's your friend?" Ivy asks with her tone implying that that's all Sapphire is to me.
Sapphire raises a questioning eyebrow at Ivy, but the other girl purposely acts unfazed by it.
"Friend?" Sapphire repeats with bitterness. "Honey, I'm much more than that." Sapphire corrects with a hand placed on her hip sassily, her eyes glaring holes into Ivy.
Ivy just snickers in return to what she just said.
"Oh? So, you have a girlfriend now Fallon? What happened to that 'busy schedule' of yours?" Ivy interrogates, her posture daringly dangerous.
I stare at Ivy bored; my mind too distracted to care about this unnecessary drama.
"Nothing happened to my schedule. Sapphire here is just working with it like I explained to you and Flora." I go to eat the chip that's now being held by my thumb and index finger, but Ivy snatches it off of me.
"Have you two done it yet?" She drifts off with no hesitation, gaining a groan of disturbance from me.
"Oh my gosh, Ivy! Can you like— stop? My sex life and life within itself is none of your concern." I lash out angrily, but she responds by eating the chip slowly.
"Well, that's a shame." Ivy conquers after swallowing her chip. "Because I was really hoping to be a part of it."
Sapphire eyes her maliciously, but Ivy has already walked off without another word said.
When I let off an exhausted sigh with my head held low, a finger strokes on my lower lip tenderly.
"Just call us anytime you 'please' and we'll be there at the place you admire the most." Flora assures, her finger detaching from my lips before Sapphire could snap her wrist.
My second head almost urges me to nod my head in reply, up until Sapphire gives me a glare that's almost life threatening.
The luckiest result for me was when Flora decided to leave Sapphire and I stranded, her now going to where Ivy went.
My eyes instinctively follow the movements of her swishing ass, my mouth beginning to water from not having any sexual release in so long.
"Don't even think about it," Sapphire threatens with her arms crossed. "If you want it, I'll give it. But don't you go up against every girl you see. Or BOY as a matter of fact, since I really don't know with you." She huffs angrily, my dark blue eyes meeting with her aqua ones sincerely.
"Boy, don't even think those puppy eyes will work on me," She grumbles threateningly. "You may be horny, but still do have standards."
After she makes her statement, she leaves me all by myself too.
I look between my legs at my bulge, afterwards rolling my eyes.
"Yeah, real smooth Fallon.." I mutter quietly to myself. "Now who are you gonna root? The best you've got is your right hand."
I let out an angered groan; drawing the attention of a few people's judgemental stares.
I quickly finish off the bucket of chips, afterwards messaging Felix that I was taking the bus now since training was over and that I saw no reason as to why I should hang around at the beach any longer.
He messaged me not long after an "Alright." Which has me frowning.
Wow...he doesn't even seem mildly worried about me.
Pulling out my Myki from in my short's back pocket, I silently wait for the next bus to arrive.
Alone once again...
