Part 13: Foreigner in Nishinomiya

"Ritsuka, Mash, we've got big trouble!" Dr. Roman called over the comm-link. "We've just picked up a Foreigner-class signal nearby!"

"Another Foreigner?!" Mash gasped. "Nagato, do you know what this might be?"

"...Yes. I suspected this from the beginning," Yuki nodded. "That was why I requested Edmond Dantes be part of this expedition..." Her head then jerked slightly. "Kyrielight, deploy your Noble Phantasm, now!"

Right after she said that, a hole was blown out of the the wall of the school, Dantes tumbling out, badly wounded! A black blur sped out of said hole toward the fallen avenger-

-but Lord Camelot halted the blur's advance just in time, said blur resolving into a woman with thick, full-bodied black hair that went down to her ankles, dressed in the standard Kyouoen girl's uniform! "What...?" she said in apparent surprise, trying to get to Dantes to no avail.

"Wait, isn't that Kuyou from our school?" Koizumi realized.

"Kuyou Suou? The one who always keeps to herself?" Haruhi mused... Just then, she saw Kyon and the human Yuki running out of the entrance, looking scared for their lives!

"Help! Berserker's after us!" Kyon cried, pulling Yuki along by the hand. Not long after, Lancelot emerged, with a human girl impaled on his staff!

"Kimidori!" Tsuruya cried in horror, as Lancelot dumped the girl's corpse onto the ground before continuing his pursuit!

"That means... Kuyou is Lancelot's Master!" Ritsuka realized.

"Hey Lancelot! Over here!" Mordred called out, the black knight halting and looking in her direction...

"ARRRTHUUUURRR!" he screamed, forgetting about his previous quarry as he rushed Mordred, who barely managed to deflect his staff strike!

Meanwhile, Caster Yuki used her power to regenerate Dantes' wounds, the avenger rising into the air and facing Kuyou once more... "Alright, Foreigner, round two!" he declared, the two vanishing into blurs faster than the eye could see, only the sounds of their clashing heard in the sky above!

"I-is she one of your fellow aliens?" Mash asked Yuki.

"No. She comes from a different faction altogether, known as the Macrospatial Quantum Cosmic Existence, or the Sky Canopy Domain. We have opposed each other before."

"Did you know she was here?" Ritsuka guessed.

"I did not know for certain. I suspected she might be involved, that was why I asked Edmond Dantes to come," Yuki replied.

"Because he's the only one who can keep up with your fellow aliens," Ritsuka deduced.

"Eh?! Y-you're an alien?!" the human Yuki gasped as she and Kyon joined them.

"Yes. I am you, and you are who I wished to be."

"W-wished to be...?! I don't understand!" Human Yuki said in confusion.

"Look, for now, just take Tsuruya-san and get out of here!" Mash said, holding her shield at the ready. "We will handle things from here!"

"Alright," Kyon nodded. "Tsuruya, run for it!"

"Don't gots to tell me twice!" Tsuruya agreed, joining Kyon and Yuki as they fled out through the gate.

"Gah!" Mordred cried as Lancelot knocked her flat on her back... but before the berserker could finish her, Medusa's chain lashed around his staff and yanked it out of his hands!

"Guguguguguuu~!" Lancelot cried in anger as the gatling gun came out, Medusa evading the fire by flying up into the sky on Bellerophon...

"Hii-yah!" Haruhi cried as she came at Lancelot with a double-footed drop kick, knocking him over! "You might be good with weapons, but how's your hand-to-hand?!" She ducked as Lancelot swung at her wildly, coming back up with a high kick to the chin, then a roundhouse which sent him stumbling!

"Now, Lancer!" Koizumi commanded.

"Gae Bolg!" Cu Chulainn intoned, his staff impaling the berserker through the torso! Then Mordred charged in, electrcity crackling around Clarent as she swung with all her might, decapitating Lancelot!

"Ar... thur..." the helmeted head grunted as it bounced on the ground twice before fading away, along with the rest of Lancelot's body.

*Up in the sky...*

"Looks like you lost your servant!" Dantes taunted as he easily dodged Kuyou's attacks, before retaliating with dark energy blasts, only for the alien to suddenly turn 2D, evading easily. "Well, that's a clever trick," he muttered, dodging again as Kuyou swiped at him with a combat knife. (There has to be a way to break this stalemate...)

Just then, Medusa flew up on her pegasus! "Mystic Eyes of Petrification: Cybele!" she cried as her blindfold vanished, exposing Kuyou to her petrifying gaze, the alien gasping as she abruptly turned to stone... But then she reverted to normal, blurring and slicing Bellerophon into bloody chunks! Medusa screamed as she fell back to earth-

-only to be caught by Ishtar on Maanna! "Gotcha!" the goddess grunted. "Now we're even!"

"Thank you, Tohsaka- er, Ishtar," Medusa grunted as she was set safely on the ground.

"I will let your verbal slip slide this once," Ishtar allowed. "Now, if you'll excuse me..." She promptly took her Boat of Heaven back into the air where Kuyou and Dantes were fighting... "Dantes! Try to grab her in a headlock and I'll blast her!" she thought-cast to the avenger.

"Just like last time, huh? Hope it works..." Dantes thought-cast back, being careful not to take his focus off the alien... (But the only way to do that would be...) Grimacing at the thought, the Count of Monte Cristo suddenly halted, spreading his arms... in the next moment, he felt pain as Kuyou's knife found purchase in his abdomen! (Now!) Immediately he reached around the alien's hair, grabbing her in a tight headlock!

"What...?!" Kuyou gasped in surprise.

"Ishtar, now!" Dantes yelled, the Mesopotamian goddess charging and firing a large energy arrow from her Boat of Heaven...

But then Kuyou suddenly vanished, leaving Dantes to take the brunt of the attack! Before Ishtar could process what had just happened, her Maanna was abruptly cut to pieces, the goddess herself getting slammed into the ground! Kuyou then blurred again, heading right for Ritsuka!

"MASTER!" Mash cried in distress, unable to move to move fast enough to protect him-

Clang! Kuyou's knife was stopped by another combat knife right in front of Ritsuka's neck! "Ah-ah-ah! I don't think so, Kuyou!" The Master looked over at the knife's owner, seeing long blue hair! "Hello, Fujimaru-san!" She turned her head to greet him. "It's so nice to see you again!"

"A... Asakura?!" Ritsuka gasped in shock.

"You!" Kuyou said in apparent recognition. "You... are dead...!"

"Oh, come on," Ryoko Asakura turned back to look at her fellow knife-wielder, "did you really think that killing my human self in this singularity would prevent me from intervening? All I had to do was overwrite the other Ryoko's data with my own!"

"Y-you're the alien Asakura!" Ritsuka cried, backing away in fear, only for his back to collide with the outer fence.

"Oh, don't worry, I'm not trying to kill you this time," Ryoko glanced back and winked. "After all, I have a score to settle with Kuyou Suou here!"

"You will not _!" Kuyou said, before breaking away and thrusting at Ryoko, who easily spun aside, only losing a few strands of hair! The two combatants' arms then blurred as they slashed each other at breakneck speed!

"Asakura is helping us?!" Mash gasped in disbelief.

"Yes. We have a common adversary this time," Yuki nodded. Looking over at Kimidori's corpse, she then stated, "Kimidori-san, your assistance may be required as well..."

Immediately, white mist enveloped the corpse, Kimidori's wound vanishing as she unnaturally rose to a standing position! Her eyes then opened, the light coming back into them! "I am here, Nagato-san."

"Kimidori is an alien too?!" Ritsuka babbled.

"Aliens?! Seriously?" Haruhi gaped in awe. "S... Sweeeeet!" Seeing Asakura recoil as Kuyou got a slash in, she regained her composure and charged at the interface, only for Kuyou to vanish! Haruhi then felt something behind her, turning to see Emiri pressed against her, having blocked Kuyou's retaliatory strike! "Whoa!"

"Run, Suzumiya-san!" Kimidori grunted. "This is not a battle you can participate in!"

"I... I think you're right!" Haruhi reluctantly agreed, turning and running for the school gate! Kuyou attempted to pursue, only to be halted by Lord Camelot once again! By this time, Ishtar had recovered, shooting mana bullets from her index finger, managing to hit Kuyou in the back! Turning to glare at her, Kuyou blurred again, only to be stopped by Dantes!

"Did you think... that I would die so easily, alien?" the Count grinned, bloodied but not defeated. Ryoko quickly took advantage, striking from the side and managing to finally stab Kuyou beneath the ribcage! The Sky Canopy Domain interface flash-stepped away, removing the knife, her wound swiftly vanishing! But then she was impaled from behind by several metal spears, courtesy of Yuki!

"Nice one, Nagato-san!" Ryoko complimented as she went on the attack again, only for Kuyou to pull out one of the spears and use it to deflect her knife strikes! The other spears then vanished as her wounds healed once more!

"Geez, what the hell does it take to stop that bitch?!" Mordred complained, looking for an opening in vain.

"Dantes had the right idea earlier..." Yuki mused. "Asakura-san, Kimidori-san!"

"Understood!" the two interfaces answered, they and Kuyou blurring out of sight! There were brief sightings of the aliens above, only stopping when Emiri managed to grab Kuyou's right arm, Ryoko then grabbing her left!

"Dantes! Blast her!" Ritsuka ordered. "Mordred, by my command spell, jump!" One of the red markings on his hand faded...

"Right!" Mordred gripped her sword as she was imbued with the command spell's power, leaping high into the air!

"Let- go-!" Kuyou cried as she tried to break free... then she cried out in pain as Dantes blasted her with dark energy from behind! Not a moment later, Cu Chulainn's spear impaled her through the chest!

"Now you die, alien!" Mordred yelled, raising Clarent above her head, then bringing it down with all her might as she fell, the blade slicing Kuyou cleanly in half! Ryoko and Emiri then pulled in opposite directions, separating the two halves!

"NOoOooooOOOOoo~...!" Kuyou's two halves wailed, soon collapsing into several wavy black lines that faded into nothingness.

"Hah... did we do it...?" Mordred grunted.

"I can confirm that the one Foreigner-class signal has disappeared!" Da Vinci exclaimed. "Good work, everyone!"

"Thank goodness..." Medusa sighed in relief. "Sorry I wasn't much help, Master..."

"It's all right, you tried your best," Ritsuka reassured her. But then something caught his eye, looking up as a light appeared in the sky where Kuyou had vanished, soon forming into a familiar chalice. "The Grail!"

"So, she had it all along," Yuki deduced.

"It would seem so," Kimidori nodded, gently grasping the chalice in her hands, she and Asakura descending to the ground. "...According to my analysis, it seems that this Grail did not originate within this singularity."

"What the hell does that mean?!" Mordred demanded.

"Most likely, Kuyou Suou took this Grail from another minor singularity and inserted it into this timeline," Yuki postulated, "which twisted this era into a Holy Grail War where none had taken place in the proper history..."

"Wait, so you mean we were pawns for that damn alien this whole time?!" Cu Chulainn yelled angrily.

"Yes."

"Perhaps Kuyou Suou observed the simulated singularity that the ISDE created, and decided to attempt something similar," Kimidori added. "But that is all over now."

"Then I suppose that means my role is done," Ryoko sighed. "Well, it was fun while it lasted... when you get back to Chaldea, tell Kyon-kun I said hello!" Asakura winked at Ritsuka before vanishing in a flash of light.

"Um, I'm right here, you know," the younger Kyon said as he strolled back onto the scene, flanked by the other students. "Or did she mean Future Me?"

"Correct," Yuki nodded.

"So, did you want to study that?" Ritsuka indicated the Grail that Kimidori was still holding.

"No," Emiri replied. "This object cannot advance the Integrated Sentient Data Entity's evolution, so it is of no use to us. Here," she held it out to Ritsuka, who hesitantly took it from her.

"Oops! Looks like my time's up," Cu Chulainn said as he took on a golden glow. "Well, even if it was a fake, I'm glad I lived to the end of a Grail War for once!" Turning to Koizumi, he said, "Well, thanks for being my Master! You and the others have a nice life..." With that, he faded away.

"Sayonara, Lancer," Koizumi nodded with a smile. "And thank you as well."

"Um, so, what happens now, nyoro~?" Tsuruya asked.

"With the retrieval of the fake Grail, history will now correct itself," Yuki stated solemnly. "And it will be as if these events had never occurred..."

"Y-you mean, we'll forget everything that happened?" the human Yuki said.

"WHAT?!" Haruhi cried in disbelief. "Wait a minute! I finally get to meet a time-traveler and aliens, and now you say my memory's gonna get wiped?! No fair!" She began stomping on the ground in frustration. "Not fair, not fair, not fair...!"

"Suzumiya-san," Yuki raised her voice a bit. Once Haruhi had turned to face her, she said, "I cannot explain in detail, but you are someone who will be important to history one day. Which means there is a decent chance that you will be recorded to the Throne of Heroes as these Heroic Spirits have been... Perhaps someday you will be summoned to Chaldea, and then you can meet us again. Is this acceptable?"

"Really...? You mean, I'll be a servant fighting with you guys?!" Haruhi gasped. "You really think so?"

"I do not think. I know."

"...okay, well in that case..." Haruhi reached up and undid one of her hair ribbons, holding it out to the caster. "Here. This is our promise to meet again. When I get summoned, you give this to me and tell me what happened here, okay?"

"Understood," Yuki nodded, taking the ribbon. "Thank you, Suzumiya-san. Kimidori-san, I leave the rest to you..."

"Wait!" Ritsuka called out. "One more thing... Emiri Kimidori, are you all right with Nagato helping us?"

"If you are referring to the ISDE as a whole, they permit Nagato's action, but will not provide support except in extreme circumstances, such as this one," Kimidori replied. "Speaking for myself, however... I only ask that you take good care of her."

"I will. You have my word," Ritsuka nodded.

"In that case, we are finished here," Yuki stated. "Dr. Roman, Da Vinci-san, you may recall us."

"Roger that. Commencing Rayshift," Roman stated, Ritsuka and the servants being pulled back to Chaldea...
