Sheldon woke up to find Amy missing from their bed. The door was open and he could hear her in the kitchen. He looked at the clock to find Amy had turned the alarm off and he had slept through his regular Saturday morning Dr. Who. He laid in bed for a few more minutes and realized he felt more rested than he had in a week. Just as he was starting to get out of bed, Amy reentered the room holding a glass of orange juice. "I made us breakfast. I was going to bring it to you in bed, but I know how you feel about crumbs, so I just brought you some juice. Everything else is waiting for us on the table."

"I know we said we were going to turn off our phones this weekend, but what are your thoughts on calling my mom? I know she only left two days ago, but I think we could both find talking to her to be a good thing, especially after last night. I can call Missy to help Mom do a video call," Sheldon suggested.

Nodding, Amy agreed, "That sounds like a good idea. Missy texted me yesterday morning and I haven't replied yet, so I'm sure she'll be glad to hear from us."

Closing her laptop and setting it on the shelf under the coffee table an hour later, Amy leaned against the back of the couch and put her feet up on the coffee table. She pulled the afghan off the back of the couch and spread it across her lap, draping the end of it over Sheldon. He moved closer to Amy so they would both fit under the blanket. The next thing Sheldon knew, his foot falling off the coffee table, waking him up. He shifted to sit up, which caused Amy to also wake up. She looked at her watch, "We were asleep for nearly three hours. We should do this more often on weekends."

"I agree. I hate doing nothing, but lazy weekends do sound pretty nice right now. Do you want something to eat? I'm a little hungry," Sheldon pointed out.

Looking over her shoulder at the kitchen, Amy pondered what she'd like to snack on. "Cereal sounds good. I don't need a bowl, just the box will be fine."

The couple spent the rest of Saturday afternoon and most of the day Sunday on the couch, cuddling and napping together. "How are you feeling, Sheldon? You said you thought maybe you needed to take some time alone like I did. Do you still feel like you want to take a few days off? We can tell everyone that you have the flu. They won't think it's weird since they all think I had the flu last week."

"I think spending the weekend just the two of us was exactly what I needed. I should be fine to go to work tomorrow," Sheldon smiled at his wife.

Leaving their apartment Monday morning Amy and Sheldon ran into Leonard and Penny who were leaving at the same time. "Is it okay to ask how you're doing this morning?" Leonard cautiously asked as he locked the door.

"We're both doing much better than we were. We talked a lot and just enjoyed being together. I think this weekend was exactly what we needed to help us move forward," Sheldon answered.

Following the group into the elevator, Amy replied as well, "Thank you for respecting our wishes and letting us have this time alone. We really appreciate it. I think we might take it easy for a few weeks, but we're figuring it out."

"I know you don't like nature and being this far away from a reliable cell signal, so why did you want to do this?" Amy asked Sheldon as they sat on the porch of the cabin in Big Bear they had been to a few years earlier with Leonard and Penny.

Sheldon reached over and took Amy's hand. "I remember how much we both enjoyed that trip and thought you might like to get out of town for a few days, especially this weekend. That was the first big trip we took after we got back together. I loved playing Never Have I Ever with you. It only confirmed to me how much we had in common when we went all those rounds with neither of us taking a drink. Besides, the cabin has Wi-Fi, so I can do Wi-Fi calling if needed."

"Aw, Sheldon Cooper, are you getting sentimental on me?" Amy teased. "You didn't have to do this to distract me from the fact that it's been a year since the miscarriage."

"How about instead of a distraction, we think of this weekend as a pre-baby vacation?" Sheldon suggested as he moved his hand to rest on Amy's baby bump.

"Really? You want to call this our baby-moon?"

Sheldon grinned, "Our daughter will be here in less than three months. If a pre-baby vacation is called a baby-moon, then that's what this weekend is."

Thank you so much for all of the reviews. I'm working on more, starting with when they find out Amy is pregnant. That will be posted as a new story called "Circle Game," but I have a few more chapters to work on before I'll start to post that, so it will probably be up in the next few weeks. (I like to have the majority of a story written before I start to post it.)
