Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or Spider-Man. I do not own the original story this is based on

Danny had just woken up, yawning. He got dressed, had breakfast, and then went to get ready for school. Hopefully, without any ghost attacks, but that was a wish on some mornings. With everything packed, Danny Phantom took to the skies, enjoying the view for what it was worth.

The ghost boy thought that at least the Box Ghost would show up today, but to his surprise, everything went smoothly as he arrived at class on time.

Things at Casper High had changed a bit. Dash still complained about Felicia but would add in Black Cat every now and then, especially about the kiss. It was getting annoying and there were times when he tried to find Desiree for a wish, but the ghost genie always had a way with wishes. On the positive side, Tucker was excited today, since Velma will arrive in Amity Park and the two could have a proper date, after what would feel like years for the boy. But the biggest change was Lancer, who no longer turned a blind eye for the popular kids.

It turns out that Principal Slimovitz wasn't lying about checking up and sometimes was seen in person on campus. The man seemed happy, nothing to his car, but he still somehow managed the time to do this. And it had been only a few weeks after Norriville. However, his appearance was once in a blue moon.

Sam was still barely talking to him and for some reason, some girls were looking at him strangely. Even worse, some of the guys have gone from asking him about Felicia and his other blind dates to asking him for dating advice. And the questions ranged from everything to everything.

"Yo, Fenton. How does this look?"

"Hey, man. Know any good restaurants?"

"Got anything for fashion?"

The students seemed to believe young Danny Fenton had gotten into the mind of girls. A preposterous thought, but that wouldn't stop the questions.

Danny sighed, already tired of this.

He has gone from being at the bottom of the barrel to be probably more popular than most A-listers, save for a select few like Michelle Clarke, the queen of the seniors. And to be honest, the boy was getting sick of the treatment.

What's worse is that he still misses Felicia, and the rumors don't help in the slightest.

I wonder what she is doing right now? He thought to himself.

His thoughts had to wait as Spectra, the ghost he never dated, entered the school. She and her assistant, Bertrand, were having fun making the students miserable with pranks and such while feasting on their youth.

"It's not even first period," Danny muttered to himself.

Going to the bathroom and crying out Going Ghost!, the boy prepared his thermos to make this a quick fight.

"I just want one day without this," Danny Phantom groaned as he just sneak sucked Bertrand. Spectra was not happy with that.

School ended with only Spectra and the Lunch Lady making a scene. Apparently, the meat-loving ghost did not take too kindly at the school for changing some of the food to some goo product, not that Sam helped in defending the product.

Though the goth girl was nowhere to be seen the minute the school bell rang and today, Tucker would be waiting at the bus station for Velma, so Danny decided to take a scenic route today as he walked home.

However, he wasn't alone the whole time as he bumped into Valerie.

Literally.

"Hey! Watch where-Danny?" Valerie said, angry at first. She picked up her backpack that was knocked over.

"Hey, Val. Sorry about that," Danny replied.

He would have helped her up, but Val already got up.

"It's okay," She said as she dusted herself off. She glanced at the boy for a moment. There hadn't been a moment like this for a good few months.

It didn't help that most of that reason was ghost hunting, something that made Valerie slightly regret the action.

She hasn't spoken to Danny much this semester. While they were still friends, the girl was unsure and very cautious of a certain blonde bombshell, who enamored the entire male student body. In fact, she wanted to warn Danny the last time the girl was visiting but couldn't get past the swarm of fans.

The thought of her made Val frown before she turned to her...friend.

"So, Danny?" Val started.

"Yeah?" Danny asked.

Val sighed as she decided to rip the bandage off. She wouldn't know when a chance like this would appear.

"So, uh...how's...Felicia?" Val asked that last word with more of an inquisitive voice.

She then saw Danny's dopey smile at the mention of her name. It made some jealousy stir within her.

"Things with Felicia have been great," Danny said. "Sure, I miss her most days, but at least we get to see each other on some weekends," He said honestly.

Valerie frowned a bit at hearing the girl's name. She hid her emotions well but could not hear Felicia's name and keep a straight happy face. She looked away for a moment. She didn't want Danny to see her face. Her cautious face.

She always got a funny feeling from that Felicia girl. Ever since that kiss, she knew something was up. No girl, in her mind, would kiss a boy she just met on the lips. There were some styles and procedures to dating, after all. Not to mention that glint in her eyes and whatever she did with her hands.

I don't know what that girl is up to, but if she hurts Danny, the gloves are off. Val thought protectively.

She might have let Danny go, but she wasn't gonna let anyone hurt him. Especially that blonde bombshell. It had been the whole reason she didn't go steady with the boy. A decision she was looking back at.

Well, this is my stop. See ya later, Danny," Valerie said at a bus stop.

"Bye, Val," Danny waved before watching her go.

After saying goodbye to Val, Danny decided to walk home, taking the scenic route.

He paused as he walked by Smithy's Flower Shop. He felt a rush of nostalgia as he recalled the month he came here to buy flowers every day, as well as all the times he bought flowers for Felicia since they started dating.

Danny paused as he gave thought about her. She will be in Amity Park, and they have been dating for a while.

"Maybe I can get her some nice flowers," Danny thought out loud as he entered.

The door bell rang as the ghost boy entered, his eyes on the many floral varieties. He was so distracted that he didn't notice a pair of eyes on him for a second.

After a while, no one came to greet him, and Danny was a little worried.

"Hello? Anyone here?" Danny said.

Just then, a kindly old man noticed him and smiled.

"Why, Danny, how good to see you again," Mr. Smithy greeted the boy.

"Hi, Mr. Smithy," Danny said to the old man.

"Let me guess, flowers for your girlfriend," The old man said.

Danny chuckled.

"Yeah, figured I'd give her something nice," He said.

The old man nodded before lifting his hand to his mouth.

"Sam, we got a customer. No need to be hiding in the roses," Mr. Smithy said kindly.

He received no answer and then spoke more gruffly.

"Sam!" He said more firmly.

"Sam!?" Danny cried out. He looked around as someone came.

From within the thorny roses, the figure of Sam Manson came out in a pink apron. Danny stared. His brain was on a meltdown, trying to comprehend the situation at hand.

"Oh, hey, Danny," Sam said nervously, resetting the system of the ghost boy's brain.

"What are you doing here?" Danny finally asked.

Sam grimaced a bit. She didn't want to tell him that because she took a drone for a personal joy ride and got the school in trouble, not to mention using it to spy on Danny and Felicia's date, she ended up subjected to this. She could remember how Max Model, founder, and headmaster of Horizon High, called her parents, who gave an even worse impression.

Though Max spoke politely, the Mansons dismissal of the school, due to them not deeming it high profile, irked the man to no end. But the punishment was decided and the headmaster decided that if Sam could not understand the impact of taking someone's hard work on a joyride, then she would find a job to teach her.

Jeremy and Pam Manson were furious at the prospect of someone of their own family working, but a pending lawsuit changed their minds. In the end, Sam worked at various places. Her attitude with corporate wages and the like, not to mention her attitude in general, made it hard for her to keep a job for more than a few days, but she was still threatened with a lawsuit.

So now, here she was, working for Mr. Smithy and his flowers. In a pink apron but she wouldn't let anyone know the truth, except Tucker, who knew already.

"Long story," Sam bluntly replied.

Danny blinked in skepticism but shrugged and let things go. Such was the apathy of teenagedom in these situations, or he was just respecting his friend's privacy.

"Oh, well...glad to see you have something new," He said optimistically.

"Yeah, some new," Sam said sarcastically with an eye roll.

Mr. Smithy noticed their interaction and smiled.

"Sam, I didn't know you knew one of my favorite customers," The old man said, his smile widens as he chuckled. "I would have hired you on the spot for that."

"Hooray for nepotism," Sam answered sarcastically, but Mr. Smithy paid no mind.

Deep down, the goth girl was thankful; the man tolerated her behavior, but she still had to be nice to the customers and learn all the flowers in the shop and tend to them.

Sam was glad her parents never knew of this job.

"I take it, Sam, here hasn't been too much?" Danny said.

Mr. Smithy laughed and waved it off as he patted the girl on the back. Not noticing her disapproval of it.

"She's been no problem at all. Say, how are you, by the way? I haven't seen you in a while. How's that girlfriend of yours? Ah, but I know things are good if you're getting her flowers," The old man spun around.

Danny blushed. He never told Mr. Smithy of any of his dates but was thankful for the man's shop the entire first month of summer.

"She's great. The next time Felicia's down here, I'll introduce you two," the ghost boy answered.

He didn't see the bitter scold form on Sam's face at the mention of Felicia's name.

"Sure. So, what are you looking for?" Mr. Smithy asked.

"I think I'll take some Roses with...what are those?" Danny said, pointing to a section with black flowers. They were of a mixture of red and black and seemed like a kind of rose.

"Those are something I thought would spice up the place, Black Baccara roses," Mr. Smithy replied with a smile.

Sam looked in awe. She had never seen such a plant.

"How come I've never seen these before?" the goth asked.

"Sam, you need to learn more about your flora, but in the meantime, get everything set for Danny here," The old man said.

Sam didn't want to, but she knows she can't risk losing another job.

"Yes, Mr. Smithy," Sam said as her boss supervised everything. Apparently, she still had a lot to learn.

Danny smiled as his friend wrapped his flowers. It was only a simple bouquet of roses, but it would do. Not that Sam was happy when she pricked her hands and fingers.

"Thanks, Sam," He said thankfully.

Sam nodded with some gratitude, but after Danny left, she quickly dropped the facade. When Mr. Smithy came back, she left on her break. She needed a pick me up and went to protest at a gathering nearby.

While Danny was busy with his day and Sam was at work, Tucker was getting ready for his big date with Velma. He rushed to the bus station and waited with every second counted. He soon saw the bus arriving, carrying his perfect match.

After her summer road trip, Velma had no time for a second date with Tucker. Things were strained due to the relationship's long-distance nature, but this was the mend the bond and solidify their status as boyfriend and girlfriend.

Tucker even made sure he looked very presentable and packed anything for the occasion, including ghost attacks.

Soon, the bus stopped, and Velma stepped out with her luggage. Tucker and her smiled as their eyes met.

It felt like forever.

"Hey, Velma," Tucker said.

"Hi Tucker, it's great to see you again," Velma said, happy to see him.

"You too," Tucker said, smiling widely. "How was your ride?"

"A little bumpy, plus one guy's loud snoring, but I've dealt with worse," Velma said.

Tucker nodded before he picked up her bag.

"So, Velma..you ready for a tour of Amity Park?" Tucker asked as he offered his arm.

Velma took it.

"Of course, lead the way," She said as the two were off on their date.

After dropping off Velma's things at home, Tucker took his girlfriend around town, showing her the scenic side of Amity Park, as well as a few favorite spots of his. They went to places like the museum, arcade, the park, some local stores, and even the creepy, abandoned hospital on the edge of town. They were now at the Nasty Burger, enjoying a nice meal. Velma had been put off by the name but gave the food a try.

"So, what do you think of Amity Park?" Tucker asked.

"It's quaint. I can see why you like it here," Velma said, smiling.

Tucker gave a smile of his own as he took a bite of his mighty meaty cheesy melt. Velma laughed with her mighty meaty salad and the mess the boy made with each bite. She handed him napkins and even once wiped a spot on his cheek.

So, this is what having a girlfriend is like. Tucker thought happily as they continued their meal.

Finishing their meal, the two left to see more sights. Unfortunately, they ended up bumping into the last person Tucker wanted to see, Dash Baxter. The jock was never a sight for sour eyes or any eyes for that matter, but his were on Tucker as he accidentally knocked the jock's food into his jacket. The biggest line to cross with a football player.

"Foley!" Was bellowed.

"Oh man, Dash," Tucker said, and Velma immediately recognized what was going on.

Tucker had mentioned something of a bully by that name during their video chats. There had been mentions of stuffing people into lockers, but the recent chat had told of a change.

The blonde jock glared between the tech geek and his stained jacket. He was mad since Danny had been more popular because of Felicia, and what's worse, with Lancer not giving him a free pass anymore, he can't have any fun at school anymore. And since he can't flex any muscle, his "glory days" have been taking a plummet.

And now he had to add a recent event to his list. And sadly, this time, there was no one around who would stop him from inappropriately releasing his rage.

Tucker did not want to start a riot, especially since it could result in him being emasculated in front of his girlfriend. On their second date.

It was then that Dash noticed Velma and glared more intensely.

"What's this? You got a girlfriend?" Dash scoffed. He pushed Tucker out of the way as he made his way to Velma, eyeing her once over. "She's hideous but still too good for you."

Okay, now Tucker got mad. He stepped between Velma and Dash, sending a glare to his bully.

"Dash, what happened was on me, but please leave Velma out of this," Tucker said, not afraid.

Dealing with ghost fights and the various life or death situations that came with it made Dash seem more like the Box Ghost nowadays. And right now, there was no way Tucker would not try to protect Velma, who had nothing to do with things.

Velma sent him a worried look while Dash growled.

"It is on you, but because she's your girlfriend, she gets in on this," The bully said, slamming his fists together.

However, before he could retaliate, the Lunch Lady appeared and brought forth every piece of meat, eaten or not, around her, creating her signature meat armor. It seemed her previous fight today did nothing to deter her from attacking again. Velma was surprised. Tucker got in front of her, and Dash screamed.

"AH! GHOST!" He screamed before running away.

Velma, on the other hand, was surprised. While she didn't disapprove or refute the supernatural elements, all the monsters she saw were folks in costumes.

"Jinkies!" She said as the ghost grinned.

"Dinner is served," she said with mirth and a ghastly sense of playfulness.

Thankfully, before everyone had finished screaming, Danny Phantom arrived, sending blasts at the meat suit and slowly chipping away. Using his ice powers, he made things quick, freezing the rest of the armor. The Lunch Lady phased out, shivering as she was sucked into the thermos.

"Is everyone okay?" Danny asked, upon seeing that no real damage had been done, except for some fear.

Velma saw Phantom and wore a smile as she walked up.

"Thank you," she said.

Danny saw Velma and smiled.

So, this is her? He thought as he looked at Velma.

She is just as Tucker described. Adorable and well dressed with the prettiest face, as Tucker described. While she is cute in the brainy sort of way, Danny prefers Felicia, though he is a little lovestruck biased.

"Stay safe, citizens," Danny said before flying away dramatically.

Velma walked back to Tucker, who gave a confused stare, making her confused as well.

"Something on your mind?" Velma asked.

"I thought you'd say he was just a guy in a suit," Tucker said in relief.

"Say what you want about the supernatural, but I won't disapprove of someone using their abilities to make people safe," Velma answered.

Tucker smiled upon hearing that. He was glad to see that the girl he likes is Pro-Phantom. It would have made things difficult if she was against him, especially if she were to introduce his friends right now. However, Danny might wave off such comments.

"So, shall we continue?" He asked as he offered his arm again.

Velma smiled.

"Sure," She said as she retook his arm.

They then went to continue with their date. All the way past sunset. Tucker knew this was going to be a fun weekend.

The night sky was peaceful as Danny did his routine patrol. Other than some annoyances from the Box Ghost, a pirate raid on an opera house downtown from Youngblood, and random ghosts pestering and scaring people, nothing out of the ordinary happened.

"Looks like another quiet," Danny said to himself, smiling.

Nights like these were rare but greatly appreciated, as some of the past summer days were. The ghost boy checked his watch and realized that he could maybe call Felicia if he were quick enough.

However, before he could leave, he barely dodged a blast being sent his way, accompanied by a familiar jet board.

"Me and my big mouth.," he groaned.

He turned around and saw that it was Valerie, in her alter ego, Red Huntress. At least, that's what they've been calling her on the internet.

"Forgot about me, Phantom!" Valerie yelled as she sent a blast.

Danny managed to dodge it and was on the defense, with an ecto-shield raised.

"Listen, Valerie. I honestly don't want to fight. I have something more important to do," Danny said.

"No way, Punk. Ghosts like you have nothing better to do than to harm this town!" Valerie replied with another shot from her palms.

The shield had held up for a while till the huntress decided to bring out the heavy artillery and summon rockets. They shattered the barrier as the ghost boy was sent flying.

Deciding it was better to not deal with Valerie, Danny made a break for it, using the knockback as a headstart.

"I honestly wish I could speak my mind and not jinx things," Danny complained. He phased through a building but found Red just flew around at a faster speed to keep up.

"What's the matter? Don't have your back-up, Black Cat?" Valerie scoffed.

Danny flinched at the mention of that thief.

"What are you talking about?!" Danny asked, not liking this.

"Oh, please! She stole the staff from the museum and that limited edition of the Crimson Chin. Plus, everyone is talking about your kiss," Val said.

Danny groaned.

"There is no relationship! Black Cat is just another enemy! Besides, I have a girlfriend!" Danny said, only to regret it when he recalled that he is talking to Valerie.

The red huntress had a palm aimed at the boy. She was not going to listen with such "proof" presented to her. And so, their usual routine began as they ducked and dodged around town. Danny would do his best not to engage with lethal force, a task rather difficult since he was using ectobeams. The huntress, who held no restraints, went full steam ahead with blasts, rockets, and grenades.

This was mentally exhausting for Danny, who just wanted to go home. Since he couldn't convince the Red Huntress of his innocence in things, the boy would have to improvise and make haste once he found an opening.

And that opening came in the form of a large explosion, courtesy of the combination of an ectoball blasted at a barrage of rockets. It knocked the two back, but Valerie regained footing quickly and returned with charged hands. She scoured and searched the area but could not find Danny Phantom anywhere.

"This isn't over," Valerie said in a huff before jetting away.

Once Valerie was gone, Danny sighed, coming from his invisible hiding spot.

Great, just what I need. Another fight with Valerie. He thought, watching the girl fly away.

He soon flew home. He still had time for a call, and with an urge to call Felicia before curfew, he flew faster homewards.

Unaware of someone spying on the fight.

Another day in the life of Danny Fenton, sans any crossing with Black Cat. Of course, teenagers don't go through a normal day without a little drama. Next chapter, we get a taste of Felicia's life. Have a wonderful day, and stay safe!

Special Thanks! to Flower Pricess11 for all her help!

I have no idea about the show Littlest Pet Shop, so I'm afraid any crossover with Danny Phantom would not be in the shop. No comment on the third question. You'll see in future chapters about the fourth. Thanks!
