Previously on Gundam Build Divers Re-Rise Origin
"eons ago, Asix was one of the many Ancients who believed that Eldora is beyond saving, so he and some others decided to leave Eldora in hopes of finding a new home" Cuadorn said "he left the remaining ancients and Alus upon Eldora thinking that the once devastated Planet would be restored. He had promised to return home but that promise was never fulfilled. I had believed he and the other Ancients that had left Eldora had perished upon the stars. But I have sensed his presence upon you"
"could it be that…" May said looking at Hiroto
"I don't know" Hiroto said before looking at one of the stone platforms that is used to transport their team to Eldora in the first place. "but we have to get back to GBN and find out"
"what do you mean?" Rina said as the three turns to look at Rina who seems to have a horrified face. "but….how?!..."
The three blinked their eyes as it seems that Rina is having a phone conversation about something very dire.
"but that's not possible!" Rina said as she placed a hand to cover her mouth. "it can't be true!"
Somewhere in the city.
A man was walking along the road with no shoes, only a shirt and jeans, seeming to just walk while passing by people one by one.
"Higeki-san is missing?!"
A white limo zooms through the road as it had Kazami and the others on board.
"wow!" Rikki wowed in amazement to the interior of the limo with Hina who marvelled the limo but with a lower voice. "it's like Uncle Mozu's limo but bigger!"
While the two children were amazed by the limo, Rina was trying her best not to look panicked.
"Rina-san" Hinata called out to Rina who glances at her. "please calm down"
"y-yes…I'm sorry" Rina replied with a head bow before looking to Patrick and Kazami who were sitting nearby. "I'm very grateful for you to give me a ride to the hospital, Patrick-kun"
"it's nothing" Patrick said with a smile.
"so, did your brother say anything on where your husband might be?" Kazami asked with a serious face
"yes" Rina said while taking out her phone as there was a message previously send in it 10 minutes ago "he said that there were people who saw Higeki-san just walking in the street, barefooted"
"and where is he going?" Hinata asked as Rina just shakes her head
"my brother said that the police are still searching for him" Rina said before she grasped both her hands to her phone "why is this happening? Just when he woke up"
Rina started to pray for her husband to be safe and sound as he had been in a coma for six months and there is no telling what is happening to him, right now.
Kazami and the others had a tense look as they just await to arrive at the downtown of the city where Mozukai messaged Rina to meet.
10 minutes later, the limo arrived at the area.
Mozukai was with his team when he hears a loud screeching sound.
"what's that sound?" Himawari asked before two fast blurs rammed into Mozukai's stomach when he turned to the side. the man was sent falling to the ground a few feet away instantly.
"oof, that's got to hurt" Fubuki said while wincing a bit to how Mozukai was just sent falling to the ground so fast.
"Uncle Mozu!" Rikki and Hina squealed as they were on top of Mozukai's stomach.
"h-hey there, Rikki…Hina…nice to see you today" Mozukai said, his glasses were tilted in the fall while his stomach might have been bruised badly.
The two kids got off as Mozukai got back up while rubbing a hand to his stomach.
"nii-san!" Rina runs in, followed by Hinata, Kazami, and Patrick.
"why are those three with you, Rina!?" Guren exclaimed seeing Hinata and the others.
"now is not the time, Guren!" Rina shouted at him, Guren taking a step back from the sudden outburst. Rina huffs a bit before she looks at her brother who was telling his secretary to take Rikki and Hina away for ice cream. He then turns his attention to them.
"come with us" Mozukai said before looking at Kazami and the others. "all of you"
Kazami and the others gulped once as things looks serious
Mozukai leads everyone to a playground as it seems emptied.
"a playground? Why did you bring us here?" Kazami asked
"be quiet" Guren told Kazami as Mozukai went to a swing set with Rina who gasped to see a wedding ring sitting on it.
"a ring?" Hinata said as Mozukai picks up the ring and gives it to Rina who holds it with both hands before grasping it to her chest.
"that's Hige-kii's wedding ring" Himawari told them while looking rather serious. "Hige-kii never takes off anything that he wears for any reason. A watch, a necklace, or even a ring. If he takes them off it means that he doesn't need them anymore"
"he promised that he'll never take off anything valuable" Fubuki added in while having his arms crossed. "and that wedding ring of his is something that he said that he'll wear to his grave."
"but if his ring is there, then where is Higeki-san?" Patrick asked
"come on!" Mozukai called out to the others as he was crouching by the ground where there were footprints traces on it. "I got his tracks!"
Everyone soon went off as they started going around in the town while following the tracks.
"he went over there" an old lady by the road said while pointing to the edge of the road. "that young man just went there barefooted, he seems to be going in circles in his mind"
"thank you very much, mam. We appreciate your concern for him" Mozukai said before he and the others started running off to where the old lady had pointed as she had just saw Higeki passing by.
"why do I feel like wherever Higeki is going to, it's connected somehow!" Guren said as they have been stopping at some locations where people saw Higeki by.
"first is the playground where you and Higeki brought Rikki to play for the first time, right Hina?!" Fubuki said as Rina nodded.
"yes! And then it was the kindergarden school where Hina is enrolled to!" Rina added in
"then it's the café where we all meet offline for the first time, and then it's the Gunpla store where Rina-chi and Hige-kii meet again in real, and then it's the ice cream store where both of them had their first date, right?!" Himawari said as every place that they had to stop by is somehow connected to the life Higeki has with his family.
"if we follow this direction of where he is going. Where would the next place be?!" Kazami asked
"the harbour bay docks!" Mozukai exclaimed
"the Harbour Bay docks?!" everyone said in unison
"why would he go there?" Himawari asked
"it's the place where he proposed to me" Rina said remembering the place where she was asked if she would marry Higeki in the first place.
After a few minutes of running, everyone arrived at the Harbour Bay docks where there was many people walking by but at the edge was a single person who is just standing there all alone while watching the sunset as it had been a total of 3 hours in the chase.
"Higeki-san…" Rina muttered out while looking relieved as the single person who is standing all alone is Higeki himself.
Higeki looks at the sunset before he slowly turns to look at the group, everyone was silent as he looks at them.
"Rina.." Higeki muttered out before smiling a bit. "how are Rikki and Hina? Have the two been well?"
"Higeki-san.." Rina said with a smile while having tears dripping down her eyes. She was about to go to her husband when Mozukai held a hand up and stopped her before making her look at him confused. "Nii-san?"
Mozukai looks at Higeki with a serious and dead stare.
"you….." Mozukai said slowly before keening his eyes. "you are not Higeki"
"captain, what are you talking about?" Fubuki said looking at the man before to Higeki. "that's Higeki!"
"yeah, captain!" Himawari agreed. "that's Hige-kii! The one and only!"
"no, the captain's right" Guren said with a serious dead glare at Higeki. "that's not Higeki at all"
"what do you mean?" Rina asked as Mozukai points a finger at Higeki.
"if you are Higeki" Mozukai said before pointing his thumb at himself. "then tell me when the day was that you and I meet in the real world after GBN?"
"Nii-san, what are you?" Rina said but Guren shushes her.
Higeki looks at Mozukai before his eyes went lifeless.
"Higeki-san? Why aren't you answering my brother? You know when right?" Rina asked as Higeki looks at her
"Forgive me, Higai Rina. But I do not know" Higeki said as this got Mozukai and the others to be on alert.
"that's not Higeki at all! That's someone else!" Guren exclaimed as Patrick and the others were surprised
"don't tell me! The EL-Diver!" Patrick exclaimed in surprise
"this is?" Higeki said looking at Patrick and the others. His eyes squinted to see them. "the members of Build Divers….i see"
"don't move!" Mozukai exclaimed before he takes out a taser gun from inside his jacket. "even if you are using Higeki's body, I'm still going to fire if you make any funny moves!"
"you have brought a weapon with you" Higeki said while raising both hands up. "this body might be Higeki's but my senses are controlling it, so any damage it takes, the pain gets sent to my system and I don't like that"
"you EL-Diver! What are you doing with Higeki's body!?" Guren exclaimed
"I am not doing anything" Higeki replied "this body has been in bed for six months and it needs rehabilitation. I've scanned the terrain of the city and found the perfect walking course to get this body back into shape"
"and what gives you the right to use Higeki's body!?" Fubuki exclaimed while pointing a finger at him.
"none, Higeki gave me permission to use his body, after all" Higeki replied
"that's a lie! Hige-kii would never give someone else permission to use his body! Only Rina-chi can!" Himawari exclaimed before pointing at Rina who blushed to her statement.
Higeki stood silent before he looks at Patrick and the others.
"why are you here?!" Mozukai exclaimed getting Higeki's attention. "why are you using Higeki?! What do you need him for!?"
"observation" Higeki replied.
"observation?" Mozukai said with a confused look.
"this planet has been tainted with countless wars in the past and now is facing coming destruction in the future" Higeki said as he turns to look at the sunset that was disappearing. "I've seen how this world's inhabitants just taints its life by pollution, destruction, and devastation. Everything beautiful is being destroyed for the sake of greed"
"you….who are you?" Kazami said as Higeki turns to look at him.
"I have forgotten my real name, but I have not forgotten my sake of justice," Higeki said
"sake of justice?" Hinata said
"that is correct" Higeki replied. "I have come to destroy this world"
This alerted everyone to the next level as the EL-Diver controlling Higeki is talking about the world's destruction for some reason.
"hey! Don't joke around like that! Destroy the world?! What are you?! A power-crazed maniac?!" Guren exclaimed
"this world is being poisoned by the acts of humans, it's own inhabitants," Higeki said looking at the sky as it turns dark. "and is continuing to rot to the core"
Higeki looks at the group as his eyes glow a bit black.
"I have come to fulfill four things," Higeki said while holding up his four fingers. "one would be to hunt down and erase the members of Build Divers and their allies for their sins of murdering two people who I trusted once"
"murder!?" Kazami said, shocked to hear such things that had been done by the Build Divers.
"Secondly, I will destroy the fake world you all call GBN. Then thirdly, I will return to my home" Higeki continued before he turns and got up on the rails of the docks. "and lastly, I shall return and destroy the earth"
"hey! What are you doing?!" Fubuki exclaimed before he sees Higeki falling back as he was going to drop 10 feet into the ocean bellow.
"Higeki-san!" Rina screamed while Hinata gasped in shock.
Mozukai ran as he reaches out and grabbed Higeki's right hand as he nearly falls off the edge.
"I will fulfill these duties" Higeki said with his lifeless eyes staring at Mozukai's "that is a promise"
"you!" Mozukai exclaimed before Higeki became lifeless, his head slouched in front and he was out cold.
Mozukai gritted his teeth as he holds onto Higeki's hand before Guren and Fubuki came and helped him.
"w-what…" Kazami said as he slowly placed a hand to his forehead. "what's going on!?"
