Danny falls to his knees and morphs back into his human form. The events of the day have left him completely exhausted. Deku leaps to the ground, breathing heavily. Bakugo leans against a steel beam for support. Once they have a chance to catch their breath, he turns to Danny. "So, does ghost hunting always go like this?" "More or less," Danny responds, standing back up. "I'll stick to being a hero then, ghosts suck." "You know I'm half-ghost, right?" Asks Danny. "I know what I said, Glow Stick." Deku simply smiles as the two bicker, then notices the rest of the students making their way over. "Hey guys, over here!"

"There you are!" Says Uraraka. "As soon as Mina made an opening in the pile, Bakugo grabbed the Gauntlet and ran off," says Kirashima. "I still don't know how he got over so fast with his foot in a splint." "Is everyone alright?" Asks a concerned Iida. "We're fine," Deku answers. "We were in a tough spot, but Kacchan made an opening that allowed us to win." "Yeah, I saved your asses," says a smug Bakugo. "Oh please," retorts a grinning Danny. "I totally had him right where I wanted him!"

"In any case, if the situation is over I suggest we leave here," Momo comments, creating a crutch for Bakugo. "With all the damage, who knows how long this place will remain standing?" "Good point," says Iida. "Let's proceed up the stairs in an orderly fashion and avoid any weak flooring!" Momo hands over her creation. "Since I know you'd never ask someone to help you." Bakugo almost makes a rude comment, but keeps quiet and begrudgingly accepts the crutch.

After some climbing, the group of student step outside one by one. Mina hands Danny his backpack. "We found the rest of your gadgets. They're not in the best shape though..." Danny looks inside to see the various bits and pieces of broken technology. "It's ok," he says. "The stuff was mostly outdated anyhow. Maybe I'll give them to Hatsume, I'll definitely need her to fix the other Gauntlet."

"Hey there!" A voice calls from above. Someone flies down from the sky. Deku looks star struck and the others recognize the speaker as he lands in front of everyone. Surprisingly, it's Todoroki who speaks first. "You're the Wing Hero, Hawks." The young hero turns to Todoroki, recognizing his face. "Oh hey, you're Endeavor's kid! Hope his face is doing alright, be sure to tell him I said 'hey'." He turns to everyone else. "The rest of you are U.A students right? What're you doing all the way out here?" They start to look at each other for the right answer.

"Would you believe me if I said 'ghost hunting'?" Asks Tsu, her finger to her chin. And Danny bursts out laughing, to the hero's surprise. His laugh is infectious, and given their shared experiences, pretty soon the rest follow suit. Even the normally glum Todoroki can't help but chuckle slightly. "Ok, ok," says Hawks with a smile. "Well whatever you're up to, this place is still dangerous, especially with the reconstruction. I'll escort you out through a safe path." "Thank you very much," says Momo with a bow.

From a distance, the Doctor watches Hawks lead the students away from the dilapidated parking garage. "It would seem the power of a ghost can be neutralized, if not countered," he notes. "While it may warrant further study, I believe my more high end children will suffice as they are." He stands up, walking away. "The original plan takes precedence, furthering the development of Tomura Shigaraki. I sincerely hope you chose well, my Master."

-5 Days Later-

Late in the evening, Danny stuffs the last of his clothes in his suitcase. He sits on it to ensure everything fits. On top of his usual t-shirt, Danny wears a FentonWorks jacket in his black and white color scheme. "Is that everything?" Asks Deku, standing in the doorway. "Just about," he replies, reopening it to add his Capture Gauntlets. "I was leaving those for last, wanted to make sure they have enough of a charge before the flight." He closes the suitcase, wheeling it out behind him as the two leave the dorm room.

"First thing when I get back is a trip to the Ghost Zone," says Danny. "I gotta find a spot where Plasmius and the Nomu won't be able to escape. And if I can't, then I'm sure Clockwork will have an idea or two." "Clockwork?" Deku asks. "Another ghost, long story," Danny answers.

"Hey Danny, how fast can you fly?" Deku continues. "About 112 miles an hour if I really push myself," Danny says. "Why you ask?" "I was just wondering why you're taking a plane home?" Deku finishes. "Well for one thing, apparently it's against the law for an unlicensed person to fly over Japanese airspace," Danny shrugs. "Plus the bill's being covered by the Guys in White and it's probably the most I'll be able to relax this whole trip!" He laughs at the idea of his former opponents doing this for him.

"So, anymore questions for that notebook of yours?" "Um, how about an autograph?" Deku blushes slightly. Danny smiles and signs the page with notes about him, briefly reading over the various details. "Jeez, you sure are thorough," Danny jokes. "Might even give my friend Tucker a run for his money!" Deku's face grows even redder with embarrassment as he gets his book back. They walk into the common room when the rest of Class 1-A has gathered, all dressed in casual wear. Aizawa, All Might, and Principal Nezu are present as well.

Iida speaks first. "As the Class Representative, allow me to say that while your stay was brief, it's been an honor and a privilege to have counted you as one of us at this prestigious academy!" He bows formally along with Momo standing next to him.

"We're gonna miss having you around," says Kirashima. "There aren't too many who can keep up with Bakugo during training." "Or with his back sass," Tsu chimes in. "Shut the hell up, Frog!" Yells an annoyed Bakugo. His leg has healed thanks to treatment from the school nurse, but there's no easy cure for his attitude.

"Thanks guys, says Danny, a little embarrassed. "I'm definitely gonna miss ya. Wish our school was more like yours, I'd probably enjoy going a bit more." "Alas, there's only one U.A," Principal Nezu states. "Before you leave, we thought you might like a souvenir from your time here. It's not quite official, but how would you like to be part of a class photo?" "Yeah! Everyone, let's line up!" Mina declares. "Ooh, a picture?" Says Hagakure. "I hope I look good enough!" "Nobody can see you anyway," mutters Sero.

After a bit of organizing with help from Iida, everyone lines up as Nezu takes Danny's phone. All Might and Aizawa stand at opposite ends. Setting the camera timer, he hurried back over as the flash goes off. Danny picks up his phone. "It looks great" he says, looking at the photo. "Actually, I have something for you guys too."

"You do?" Deku is somewhat surprised as Danny walks over and holds out a disk-like device. It has a large button with the Danny Phantom logo on it. "Hatsume was able to rig this up with the damaged tech I brought back," he explains. "You press the button and it sends a signal to FentonWorks. I know you guys don't typically deal with ghosts, so if you ever run into any supernatural trouble, let me know."

"Why the hell does Deku get it?" Bakugo grumbles bitterly. "Sorry Bakugo," says Danny, overhearing. "There was only had enough to make one of those. Tell ya what, next time we see each other, we can have that rematch." His eyes flash green as he grins. Bakugo grins back, his hands making little popping explosions. "I'll hold you to it, Fenton." "Damn, calling him by his actual name?" Kaminari whispers to Jirou. "Guess Kirashima was right. He's found someone else who can keep up," she replies.

"Fenton, your in-class performance was... adequate," says Aizawa to Danny. "Don't slack off when you get back home." He leans in so only Danny can hear. "Next time, don't end up in a position where you need to be rescued again." He turns and walks away, leaving Danny surprised and slightly unnerved. "I can never read that guy," he mutters to himself.

All Might walks over. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Young Daniel," He shakes his hand. "Keep up the good work, you're already a fine hero." "I appreciate it," Danny replies. "Given everything Midoriya's told me about you, it really means a lot." The retired hero simply smiles and turns away.

Nezu looks at his watch. "Your plane will be boarding in little over an hour, we'd better get you going." Outside the doors, a car waits to take him to the airport. Danny walks over to it and turns back, the students standing at the building doors watching. Danny makes a formal Japanese bow. "Thanks again for everything!" He says, standing back up and raising his hand. "If you guys are ever stateside, I'll treat ya to Nasty Burger! So make sure you keep in touch!"

The other students start waving and shouting goodbyes of their own. All wrapping up with Iida's voice overtaking them. "Don't forget, you're a U.A alumni now! Be sure to act the part next time you save the world!" "And always remember," Deku yells, waving. "To Go Beyond!!!" "Plus Ultra!!!" Everyone yells with enthusiasm. Deku pumps his fist, smiling at them.

The car drives off campus, and the students start to disperse. The ones who rescued Danny linger a bit longer until the car is out of sight. "Think we'll see him again?" Tsu ponders. "Who knows? The world of heroes is a big place," says Kirashima, hands behind his head. Deku looks down at the disk, the button faced up, smiling. "I'm sure we will," he says determinedly.

Later on, a plane soars through the night sky. Aboard, Danny takes out his phone. He goes to the class photo taken hours earlier. He looks over each face and smiles. He puts the phone away and closes his eyes, eager to get some rest during the long flight ahead. I'm heading home, is his last thought as he drifts off to sleep.

End of Story.

- To the readers, I hope you all enjoyed my first attempt at a fanfic! If the story gets enough of a following, maybe I'll write a sequel someday. For now, definitely support the official releases, stay spooky, and always Go Beyond, Plus Ultra!!!
