"So how's Hylla?" Simon asked as he sat down next to me, Chiron and I were playing Pinochle while Will gave Hylla a check up. Arthur was looking through the scope he had put into his shotgun and was pretending to shoot campers as they walked by. What? It's actually a lot of fun! When you accidentally shoot someone then it sucks but up until that point it's super fun!

"She's good, she still doesn't agree with my whole vendetta but I think she's just relieved that I am opening up to her again. Me lying really hurt her, and me too she just went to town hitting me with that book." I said rubbing the bruises on my arms from her attack.

"Chiron!?" someone shouted and we all turned to see Jake Mason running up to us. He was out of breath as he handed an envelope to the centaur "Hey guys." he said and I nodded in return to him.

"Oh dear..." Chiron muttered as he read the letter, I tried to read it but he lowered his hands so I couldn't see it. He looked at me "It appears you were on to something Mr. Strife. Jason Grace said to not try to contact him regarding anything regarding the Triumvirate." he said sadly.

I fucking knew it! I stood up and grabbed my coat hanging over the railing "Well I'll go talk to him." I said throwing my coat on just as Will walked out with a smile on his face.

As soon as he saw me he frowned "Where are you going?" he asked narrowing his eyes knowing he wasn't going to like the answer.

"I'm going to go talk some sense into Jason." I said strapping my sword to my side.

"No you are not! Hylla needs you!" he said angrily.

"Hylla is the queen of a bunch of super warrior women and can bitch slap me across the room. It's happened multiple times so where exactly am I needed in this equation? I would love to be up there right now but I have stuff to do before I can be with her. I'm not going to relax with her until I know she is safe and she isn't safe until everyone is." I said as I started down to stables.

"So you are leaving her and your son to us while you dick around?!" he shouted at me. Now on any normal occasion I would have chuckled at Will cursing but something else caught my attention.

"What did you just say?" I asked turning back to him, my ears definitely were playing tricks on me but Wills grin said they weren't.

"You heard me right." he said walking down the steps, Chiron was smiling and my brothers were grinning like lunatics. My lip quivered as Will approached me...

"It's a boy." I whispered and Will nodded.

It's...I'M HAVING A BOY! I'M GONNA HAVE A SON!" I screamed overwhelmed with joy. Let me tell you I have had a taste of euphoria before in battle but hearing that I am having a son made those moments look like nothing!

"So now will you stay?" Will asked and I stopped celebrating, I mean fuck what do I do?! I'm having a son, but Jason needs saving, but I'm having a son, but Fitzpatrick is going to attack the camp, but I'm having a son!

Fuck!

"Chiron? Send a letter to Piper. Tell her to watch over Jason as close as she can, tell her it's a matter of life and death." I said and the trainer nodded before going into the Big House to write the letter.

"I'm proud of you Sammy!" Will said but I glanced at him and smirked.

"Sunny Boy? You and I both know that Fitzpatrick can't be put off. Jason had Piper so that is taken care of but do you honestly think it's the best course of action to wait for him to attack the camp? One well placed shot and the Big House goes down with Hylla inside. I have to go deal with this guy Will." I explained ruffling his hair.

"I know...wishful thinking I guess." he said looking down.

I smiled and crouched down so I was level with him, he had grown considerably since I first met him all those years ago. He was just a tiny ball of sunshine then, now he is a moderately sized ball of sunshine. I sighed "That's what I love about you Sunny Boy, you are always looking out for others instead of yourself. You've been looking out for me for years, now let me return the favor. Take care of Hylla until I get back okay?" I asked softly.

Will lowered his head and sniffled a little, I chuckled before pulling him into a hug "It's okay, I have no intention of dying any day soon." I said and Will laughed into my chest.

"Just shut up and be careful you idiot." he said and I laughed, I was rubbing off on this kid for sure he never used to insult people.

"No promises, but I do promise that I will be back." I said pulling away from Will. He looked very sad but all he needed was Nico next to him and I knew he'd be okay.

I put my fingers to my lips and gave a very sharp whistle that resonated through the whole camp. Within seconds the ground started to shake as if a tremor was running under the camp. Less than a second later a large mass of black materialized next to me and a very large shire horse was towering over both Will and I. His golden tail whipped back and forth and it's golden mane looked freshly cleaned. It's eyes were like two erupting volcanoes, swirling chaos and nothing but bloodlust in them.

Isn't he adorable!?

"Long time Rival. You ready for one more mission?" I asked my horse and he neighed in response which I took as a yes. I smiled and climbed onto the saddle and looked at my brothers and Will, then I looked at the window where Hylla was most likely reading her parenting book.

"I'll see you soon." I said.

Then I snapped the reigns.
