Kanto Part 14
The three people arrive at Saffron City, they get past the gym and find that the leader hasn't returned to the gym, meaning that they can't battle the gym leader here, then they arrive at the Silph Co and they find that the Team Rocket member who is guarding the door is falling asleep. Gary says, "Geez, that was quite easy to breakthrough..."
"I know." Alice says as they enter the company, a staff member says, "I have to tell you that our office is a bit of a disaster right now...A REAL disaster!"
"What's wrong?" Ash asks, "We can help you."
"This is no place for kids - not when there are so many dangerous people around!" The staff member says.
"Don't worry, we have already faced them a lot of time." Ash says as he shows the badge that his mother gave him. The staff member is surprised and she says, "Wait, you are Delia's son? That will be great."
"Indeed. We can't keep letting Team Rocket do whatever they please! It's time we did a little strategy planning!" Gary says.
"And what do you have in mind?" Alice asks.
"So in short, the plan is this: We are going to drive Team Rocket out of Silph Co., just like we did in Pokemon Tower. If we split, then it will be crazy." Gary says.
"So you mean we are going to stick together." Ash says, and Gary nods.
"Now let's go." Ash says as they get into the elevator, but they can only access to the fifth floor as they go there instead. But just as they come out of the elevator, they see Archer talking to a grunt. "You—!" Archer notices the three of them and he gets surprised.
"What is it, Mr. Archer? you know those kids?" The grunt asks.
"And it seems that you know him? Ash? Alice?" Gary asks.
"So you're fool enough to get in our way, is that it? What brave little boys and little girl."
"Says the one who lost to me back in the Rocket hideout." Alice says with a smirk, "You know I beat you once, I can beat you again."
"So you are the ones that get in Mr. Archer's way? You want to go home in tears or what?" The grunt yells back.
"Calm yourself! I'll teach these children a good lesson."
Then he sends out Electrode, Weezing and Golbat while the grunt sends out Muk and Raticate. Ash, Alice and Gary send out their Pokemon, Pikachu, Eevee, Sandslash, Kadabra and Beedrill to battle. They put up a good fight, but in the end, the five Pokemon from Team Rocket are defeated and they are gritting their teeth at their loss.
"Again?" Archer says. "So it wasn't just a stroke of luck that let you beat me last time. I understand now. We'll have to be more careful about you three..."
"Out of the way!" Just then, the two people just pushes Alice and Gary, causing them to fall down to the ground. "Alice, are you okay?"
"I am fine." Alice says, and Gary notices the card key on the ground. "Hey, look! That grunt dropped something!"
"Yeah, it is the card key." Ash says as he picks it up. "With this I think we can enter some of the rooms here in the Silph Co."
"That's great." Gary says as they continue to move forward.
Starting from the second floor, they have been battling against some Rocket Grunts as well as scientists who are supporting with Team Rocket. They eventually get to the ninth floor and they find a Nurse Joy there.
"What is a Nurse Joy doing here?" Gary asks in shock, as they approach the nurse, she is also surprised to see them. "Ash? Alice? And even Gary? What are you doing here?"
"Wait, that voice...don't tell me it is you, Mom?" Ash asks, "What are you doing here and why are you acting like a nurse?"
"I am here to spy on Team Rocket to see what they are doing." Delia says, "After all, I was known to disguise when I was little. So it will be easy for me to get inside. I also heard that the grunts are yelling about intruders and they ask me to heal their Pokemon, those intruders are you, right?"
"Yeah. Mom." Ash says, "But this place is quite confusing, when we step on something that looks shiny, and suddenly we are in a different floor..."
"Those are the teleportation pads made by the scientists here, and I think you need it if you want to reach my brother, I tried to do it with stairs, but it is only a dead end." Delia says. "Anyways, Ash, after saving some of the scientists on my own, one of them give me this Pokemon, but I think it will be better if you are the one that has it."
As she gives it to Ash, he quickly scans the Pokemon with the Pokedex.
Kanto Dex Entry No.131 Lapras: The Transport Pokemon: Water and Ice Type. A Pokémon that has been overhunted almost to extinction. It can ferry people across the water.
"That is so cool..." Alice says, "To have a Lapras..."
"Yeah, I am envious as well." Gary says, "But don't forget we have some work to do here."
"Yeah. Mom, are you going to come with us to fight Team Rocket?" Ash asks.
"As much as I want to, but I don't think I can face Giovanni yet. So I'll leave him to you guys, okay?"
Ash and the others nod as they enter the elevator, heading back to the third floor, finding the teleportation pad to the hidden room in the seventh floor, but Archer has caught up to them and he yells, "That's far enough!"
Alice groans and says, "You again?!"
"Me again. As many times as it takes. I will not let you reach the boss!"
"Huh? What was that? So Giovanni really is in this company?" Ash asks, and Archer covers his mouth as he accidentally slip the secret.
"So the boss of Team Rocket is right here in this building! That sure makes things easier, then!" Gary says. "Ash, Alice, you guys go ahead, I'll take care of this man over here."
"Okay, Gary. I know you can win." Then the two of them step into the teleportation pad as they finally arrive at the 11th floor, which is the final floor and they see Giovanni talking to the president of the Silph Co. But before they can go there, they see the trio approaching them.
"Hold it right there, twerp!" Jessie says.
"Our boss is in a meeting! You better not disturb him!" James says.
"Damn it, and we are so close..." Ash says.
"Ash, you go right up ahead, I'll deal with them." Alice says.
"Okay." Ash says as he rushes forward while Alice takes out Venusaur and Mr. Mime to battle them.
"Now, now, Mr. President. I hope you're not thinking of lying to me. The Master Ball... You successfully created one, didn't you!" Giovanni's says to the president, who replies, "Do you think it is that easy to make? And now that I know who you really are, there is no way I want to make a thing like that...Not for someone like you!"
"How dare you!" Giovanni's anger starts to rise.
"And give up any thought of forcing us to create lots of powerful Pokemon for you!" The president says, "Using stolen research to create Pokemon...That's not something Silph should ever do!"
"We had a deal! You agreed to this! ...You're a smart man. I'm sure you can imagine what will happen to your people if you say no to me now." Giovanni says.
"Stop this at once, Uncle!" Ash yells as Giovanni turns around, he says, "Ah. Young Ash. So we meet again! The president of Silph and I are discussing a vital business proposition."
"I heard everything from my mother, did you really show kindness to me when I was little to make me a member of Team Rocket?" Ash asks.
Giovanni is surprised at first, then he says, "And what if I did? But right now it doesn't matter. Keep your nose out of grown-up matters... Or experience a world of pain!"
He takes out four Pokemon, one is a Nidorino, one is a Kangaskhan, one is Rhyhorn and the final one is Nidoqueen. Ash takes out Butterfree, Primeape, Gyarados and Lapras to battle.
Nidorino is facing against Butterfree, it uses Poison Sting to make Butterfree poisoned, but with Butterfree's Sleep Powder and the Psychic Attack, Nidorino is fainted. Kangaskhan is using Rage on Primeape, but due to the critical hit causes the Anger Point on the Pokemon, and then it uses Close Combat to win against it. Rhyhorn is facing against Gyarados. Rhyhorn is using Horn Attack to give Gyarados pain, but with the help of Hydro Pump, Rhyhorn is blasted to the wall and then the Dragon Rage finish it off. As for Nidoqueen, it is facing against Ash's new partner Lapras, Lapras activates the Perish Song, and much to the Pokemon's surprise, both of them keep exchanging attacks until they both faint in the same time.
After seeing how his Pokemon lost, he says, "Argh! I lost again?!"
"Indeed, Giovanni, why don't you surrender now?" Just then, the nurse arrives at the floor and Giovanni asks, "What is a Nurse Joy doing here?"
"You forgot about me, huh?" Delia takes off her disguise and Giovanni says, "Delia, so you were the one that plot this?"
"You can say I just lend them a hand to stop you and your ambitions. As your older sister, I just want to stop what you are doing."
"Blast... I have little choice, it seems. I will relinquish Silph for now." Giovanni says with anger. Then he gives a smirk and says, "But Team Rocket will never fall! Delia! Ash! Never forget... All Pokémon exist for Team Rocket's use! I may leave you now, but we will meet again!"
Then he leaves the room with the help of smokescreen. Ash says, "He is getting away!"
"Don't worry, he will show up again and this time we will capture him." Delia says. Then Alice and Gary also arrive and Alice asks, "Ash, are you okay?"
Gary says, "Yeah, where is the boss?"
"He is gone for now." Ash says, "But we managed to save Silph Co."
The president says, "Oh, dear boy! Thank you for saving us here at Silph! I will never forget how you saved us in our moment of peril. I have to thank you in some way. And I am quite magnanimous, so I can give you anything."
Then he takes out three purple colored Pokeballs for them. "How about you take these?"
"Are those the Master Balls?" Gary asks in surprise.
"You can't buy that anywhere. It's our secret prototypes, it will catch any Pokemon without fail! Truthfully, we've only succeeded in making three of them. So you guys should be quiet about using it."
Delia says, "And we also arrested the scientists who betrayed the company as well as the Rocket Grunts. So don't worry about Team Rocket taking over the company again."
The president nods as he thanks them. After they are back at the ground, Gary says, "Seems like after that incident, I manage to get something that is useful for capturing Pokemon for Gramps' Pokedex."
"Yeah." Ash says.
"Anyways, I'm moving on up and ahead! By checking my Pokédex, I'm starting to see what's strong and how they evolve! Am I a genius or what? I'm going to the Pokémon League to boot out the Elite Four! I'll become the world's most powerful Trainer! Ash, Alice, well good luck to you! Don't sweat it! Smell ya!"
After Gary leaves, Delia says, "Ash, since you can't battle Sabrina, the gym leader here yet, how about you go to Fuchsia City first?"
"I guess we can go there instead." Ash says as they bid farewell to Delia as they head towards the Route 16 which is west to Celadon City.
Well, in my version, I want to write the Poison Type Gym first, so I decide to let Ash and Alice go there instead, but here is the Silph Co Chapter and I hope you like it.
