Chapter Twelve

Before the Fourth Shinobi War

Madara

It's finally worked. I not only have plans with Obito but also with Sasuke. Both of them are fools and have no one left to same them, they've lost everyone they ever loved and their hearts are too cold to love again. Granted, the chakra I'm planning to add to Sasuke will affect him a bit and leave him less coldhearted, but that's the result of adding different people's special chakra into him. Sasuke is unknowingly going to help my legacy live on. I have the chakra remains from the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, and I need to insert it into Sasuke's chakra. I've mixed my chakra into it, and have added my reserves of chakra. I collected the snake's chakra, his assistant Kabuto gave it to me. Along with Orochimaru, I've mixed Kabuto's medical abilities, Hashirama's senjutsu abilities, a bit of the demon fox's chakra, and a few more key people. Last night, I perfected my mixture and was thinking about trying to find the Uchiha now, but I'll wait for the upcoming battle. Do I really need to wait though? I could get him now. Actually waiting's fine. I'll give my descendant time. It's a pity he'll end up dying in the end. I hate seeing a clan member put down.

Hinata

Dropping the plate in my hands, I run to Sasuke's room. Tripping over my own feet, I reach his room only to find the door is locked. Spreading chakra over my fist, I smash through the door with a punch Sakura would've been proud of.

Only to find the wall obliterated and Sasuke's headband laying on the wooden floor. It's too late. Falling to my knees I let out soft sobs. If only I had noticed something sooner. It's all my fault. What will Naruto and Sakura say? Hell, it's not just about them, what will everyone say? I've lost Sasuke and now he's going to try and kill us all.

"My, my, my." I hear a raspy voice behind me. Not caring anymore, I keep my face in my hands. Then a cold, hard finger hooks my chin and pulls my face up. My breath quickens as I look into a pair of beautifully snake-like, cold eyes. One yellow and one red, both with a black sclera in the middle. Letting out a small breath I bring my right hand up to feel the beauty of a man in front of me. Touching his smooth grey skin, I watch the corners of his dark purple lips turn into a smirk.

"Hinata." Chills run up my spine as I hear his cold voice whisper my name.

"H-hai Sasuke?" I whisper to the newly transformed man in front of me. My eyes can barely capture his pale skin and hypnotizing eyes. I slowly activate my Byakugan, and almost pass out as the waves of chakra rolling off of him hit me. With my eyes, I can see a silver pulsating aura around him and he looks different. There are different avatar's around him. Like the paintings in the Hyuuga compound that had outlines of each of the past heirs around me. Except instead of black and white, I see dark red, blues, and purples. There's this snake-like man, the first Hokage Hasirama, Madara Uchiha, another white-haired man with glasses, this tailed fox being, and a red-haired man. I-is that Gaara? The sand ninja from the chunin exams? I remember that he was the one who broke Lee's legs. Now he's older, more mature, and less angry.

Even with all the chakra pulsating around him, and the strange new powers I can sense, he still is the same. Maybe a bit more beautiful and intimidating.

But still, as I continue to look at his eyes, the only thing I can think of is how jealous younger Sakura would've been. She would've killed to see Sasuke like this. Maybe even the new Sakura I know would be excited to see Sasuke. Though she is with Naruto, so I don't know.

"Hinata." I hear him say, his voice now less raspy than before. I don't say anything. Instead, I glance out through the obliterated wall, wondering how long it's going to be until someone notices Sasuke's immense chakra. No doubt as soon as Neji activates his byakugan he'll feel the strange chakra.

"Leave the village with me." my thoughts vanish and my eyes snap up to meet Sasukes.

"B-b-but e-everyone e-else..." I trail off, thinking of how disappointed my family will be when I leave. But would they even care? During those seven years I was gone, they were fine weren't they? My teammates have found a replacement for me and I don't have any special friends. Sasuke's the only one I can count on right now, and I need to let him know he can count on me too.

"I will." The determination in my voice surprises me and I can see a flicker of change in Sasuke's demeanor. He's probably surprised. I'm surprised myself.

"Deactivate your byakugan and gather what you need." he commands, normally I wouldn't appreciate anyone bossing me around like this, but now it's different. I will do whatever Sasuke asks of me and I will do it right, it's only proper. As he is giving me a new chance and I'm grateful.

"You should mask your chakra," I advise after a moment's hesitation. He nods and steps back, forming hand signs for some sort of genjutsu. Quickly I jump up and run to my own room, high on the thought of running away. It's something so different from what I normally do, and I do hope no one thinks badly of it.

Who am I kidding. They're probably going to hate me, my teammates aren't going to chase after me like Naruto and Sakura did for Sasuke. My teammates will probably just curse me for running. Same with the rest of the clan, they'll think I'm still the weakling they always thought I was.

I think of what will happen when Sasuke destroys the village. I know I want to help him, but I need to get more power to do so. Seeking training is something I need to do. I almost break out laughing as a thought comes to mind.

Imagine me, showing the Hyuga that I am more than just a stuttering little girl. Instead, I will be the one burning their homes to the ground and taking them all down.

No. This may be exciting. But what about Hanabi and Neji? Everyone else I love? Letting my pack fall from my hand, I stand in the middle of my room. Conflicted. Unsure. Confused.

"Hinata." Sasuke says from behind me, turning around I gasp in surprise. He looks as he did before, and when I activate my Byakugan, his chakra levels are back to normal. "Transformation jutsu." he says, I nod at that and wait for him to continue. "With some genjutsu." It's obviously more than that, he just masked the biggest amount of chakra I've ever seen!

"Let's head out." Nodding I follow him out of the room and silently watch as he takes me to the secret room. "Grab whatever you think you might need. The left wall has books and scrolls on villages, clans, and jutsus. The smaller shelf is my clan information and jutsu." I nod and turn toward the shelf, glancing at the paper markers sticking between the books to try and locate jutsu information. That's when I stumble across a journal. Hamura Otsutsuki's to be exact. He was the founder of my clan. Sliding the book out of its place on the rack I put it in my pack. Maybe I'll get a chance to read it later.

"S-sasuke?" I stutter, he turns to face me and I almost forget what I was going to ask. "Are you going to attempt to burn down the clan compounds?" He slowly nods and I immediately shoot up. "B-but you c-can't destroy them! T-they all contain so much history a-and knowledge."

"I'll think about it," he says, then stands up and pulls his pack under his cloak. "Are you ready?" he asks.

"Y-yea," I say and stumble after him, pack in hand. Sasuke walks out of the house and after one long glance back at it, he turns down the street towards the village gates.

After a while of silent walking we reach the gates, there one of the guards asks. We don't have any orders to allow you two to leave. What are you guys doing?" Somehow he seems unfazed at the fact that Sasuke looks beautiful and has chakra radiating around him.

Then I feel like smacking my forehead, Sasuke's hiding it all. How could I forget? I was the one who suggested it to him. Glancing over at the guards I see the two of them laid on the floor and Sasuke's disguise gone.

"What did you do to them?" I whisper-yell.

"Genjutsu. I couldn't keep my own genjustu going while also pulling them under my influence." I nod and he continues. "Never mind that, now that we're leaving I won't have to keep the genjutsu going anyways, it's taxing."

"We should leave then. Naruto, Tsunade, the entirety of the Hyuga clan, or anyone else could sense your chakra." I say, nervous. I don't want to face anyone as we leave. It's not that I don't want to fight, I mean I obviously don't want to, but I also don't want to explain to anyone why I'm leaving.

Sasuke just grunts and walks through the gates without a glance back. Taking a deep breath, I raise my foot and step beyond the boundary of Konohagakure. Wincing, I take another step and cross the gates. I've done it. No going back now. Letting out the air I'd been holding in, I sigh and start after Sasuke, leaving behind my home for nineteen years.

Hey guys! So if you want to find out why Hinata is so ready to leave this village and if you want to know more about what's going on with Sasuke, you can keep on reading. If not, then just skip this last part. I mean you'll find out in the later chapters, but for those of you who like to know what's going on, or for those of you who might be confused by my horrible writing, here it is.

Hinata's Story

So Hinata feels like she's being a burden on everyone. She knows Neji beat himself up relentlessly after her 'death' and she is confused as her father has made no attempts to bring her back to her home or even reinstate her as the heir. There was that one moment he showed her kindness, but since Hinata second-guesses herself a lot, she looked over that one incident. With Naruto and Sakura, she feels upset. Not that she has really feelings for Naruto, but she's sad because if she hadn't collapsed and gone out during the exams, then she might have been in Sakura's shoes. She also wants to help Sasuke to pay him back for assisting her and looking out for her. She also knows the Hyuga clan still believes her to be weak, and since she just witnessed Sasuke grow so powerful, she can't help but want to get some for herself. That's it on Hinata, on to Sasuke!

Sasuke's Transformation

So Sasuke has plenty of people's chakra in him now, the people in the 'outline' things that Hinata saw are the people whose chakra is inside of him. If you struggle to understand what I describe with my limited writing skills, it's kind of like a flat 2-D Susanoo outline. So Sasuke's personality and appearance has been altered a little because Madara sealed the chakra into him with a special jutsu. His chakra radiates a grey/silver aura like how his chidori did on the second stage of the curse mark. So he also gained knowledge with the new chakra from him. He really only has knowledge of Madara and Kabuto's justsu's and feelings as he got the most chakra from them. But he also has small scraps of memories from everyone. Kind of like their most scarring incidents, so he knows those because those memories were powerful enough to be conveyed through the chakra. Also now Sasuke's telling of the story is going to be more biased and his emotions will be shown stronger than they normally are. So he's kinda ooc but it's intentional. Does that make sense? I hope it did.

Also when I was writing about Sasuke's transformation and how he turns like beautiful and everything, I had just read a Cedric Diggory fan-fic. For those of you who don't know, Cedric's actor, Robert Pattinson, also acted as Edward from Twilight. So I kind of was thinking of Edward and Bella when I wrote that part and yes I'm aware it wasn't original. But I'm not a creative person and somehow I came up with the idea for this story, so I'm proud of myself but you know I'm not creative enough to come up with my own ideas for everything.

Those were my explanations, but please remember that this will all be explained through Sasuke and Hinata's P.O.V. later on. It just won't be explained like this and certain elements of the explanation will be subtly explained. Thanks for reading!
