Emma was handcuffed to her chair on the plane. She didn't mind though. Bracken sat next to her keeping her company. Everyone else still glared at her. She deserved it. They were almost to the preserve. Emma knew once they found Kendra they might be severely disappointed in what they see. Kendra wouldn't be herself anymore. She would be a being of pure destruction. Everyone knew this but they still had hope.

Backen stood to address everyone. "Alright, we are almost there. All we know is Tryne is at this preserve. Once we get there we will have to locate him. From my understanding this preserve is about the same size as Living Mirage. So we will have a lot of ground to cover."

"What happens when we find her?" Warren asked.

Emma wanted to reassure them. But there was nothing she could say.

"I don't know." Bracken admitted.

Emma knew what she could say. "Umm if I may?"

Bracken nodded encouraging her to continue.

"I might be able to make this slightly easier. I could use my abilities to track down my father. The only problem with that would be I would need to take these off." She gestured to the handcuffs. "Only for a minute though."

Vanessa was about to object when Warren stopped her. "V we need to find her. This might be the fastest way." He whispered.

"Fine." She whispered back.

"Alright. The moment you have a location though the cuffs are going back on." Bracken told Emma.

"That's all I ask."

Everyone sat in silence for the rest of the flight.

Tryne was pacing around the room. Circling Kendra's prison. She was almost complete, but those heros were almost here. And where on Earth was Ronodin? Just as he thought that Ronodin walked through the door.

"Hello Father sorry for the delay. I had an errand to run." Ronodin said politely.

"Never mind that. Your sister has just betrayed my trust and I need a partner until she is complete." Tryne pointed at Kendra.

Ronodin had a few questions. "Father you said sister. Since when do I have a sister? Also what are you doing to her?" Ronodin asked, also pointing at Kendra.

Tryne almost forgot he hadn't told him yet. "I had an affair with a demon who I loved very much. Your sister is a product of that. And as to Kendra, well lets just say she is about to become one of the most dangerous beings in the world."

Ronodin didn't like where this was going. "What are you going to make Kendra do?"

"Destroy everything good of course."

The team had arrived in Barrow Alaska. The island itself was small but the preserve was huge. Luckily magic was involved so no worries on space. The preserve was unnamed which made it all the more terrifying. Everyone was bundled up pretty warm since this place is so far north. Bracken quickly uncuffed Emma so she could guide them to the correct location. After 20 seconds she exclaimed, "Got it!" Bracken put the cuffs back on. They began the trek through the preserve. When they approached the cave Emma looked terrified.

"I can feel multiple dark energies in there."

Bracken looked inside and walked in. Everyone else followed. The cave was unnaturally dark. The farther they walked in the darker it felt. Then they walked into an opening. Tryne and Ronodin were standing there. Kendra was in an orb that looked similar to Seth's memory orb.

"Cousin." Ronodin sneered. "How nice to see you again."

Tryne looked very confused. "Which one of them is your cousin?"

"Bracken obviously. He's the only unicorn in the bunch."

Tryne looked very pleased. "And here I thought the last child perished. I didn't know you could lie mister I'm a pure unicorn."

"Bracken," Emma whispered. "I know you don't trust me but, I have a plan. I need my powers though for it to work."

"But Kendra… " Bracken started.

"Kendra will break out of these anyway. I can feel her power growing stronger. At least this way I can help a little."

Bracken thought about it while the others argued with Tryne.

"Give us Kendra." Vanessa yelled.

"Why should I. She will become greater than any monarch." Tryne countered.

"She doesn't need or want to be a monarch. She is wonderful the way she is." Warren said.

"How do you know what she wants?" Tryne asked. "Have any of you asked her?"

"She doesn't want the power she has." Seth said barely audible. "She only has it because it's the one thing keeping her alive."

"Well now she won't be in danger of dying. You're welcome."

The three of them were enraged by him. They looked at Bracken as if waiting for permission. Bracken knew what he had to do. He pulled the cuffs off Emma. You could see the power enter her eyes. She charged both Ronodin and Tryne. They were both surprised by her attacks. But soon they took her down. Tryne held a blade to her. "Don't move or she dies."

They all stopped moving. More out of respect for Bracken than anything. Emma looked terrified. Then she looked pained. She doubled over. Tryne was pleased. "You all get to see the rise of your new Queen." Tryne said.

Kendra's body laid limp on the floor. Emma was no longer inside. Then she started to rise. Her clothes burned off and were replaced by a black flowy dress. Her eyes were deep and empty. Her smile was wicked.

Tryne spoke to her. "My dear, kill them." He said pointing to the team.

Kendra looked at them with no emotion whatsoever. Then charged.
