Welcome to chapter 14 of Star Wars: A Galaxy of Adventures - A React Fanfic.

I'm back again with another new chapter!

Here is the last YouTube video before I return to the Clone Wars.

The video that will be shown this time is The Chosen One by Heroes Fan Productions.

Now onto the story!

Enjoy!

"Speaking"

'Thinking'

[Character/Person speaking in the video]

(video narrative)

The movie screen suffers a slight distortion as Veritas' form appears on it.

"Greetings, everyone. I believe that before I start the next video, you all have some questions you for which seek answers. However, I will only answer what I can for now. The rest you can all learn watching the next videos." The Cosmic Force entity says to the summoned audience.

"Did Fives really discover the truth behind the inhibitor chips beforehand? And what happened with Tup?" Rex is the first to ask a question.

"Yes he did, Rex. During a campaign on Ringo Vinda, Tup's chip suddenly 'malfunctioned' as Order 66 activated earlier inside of his brain. This made Tup kill Jedi Master Tiplar in cold blood while Fives and the others nearby witnessed that in shock." Veritas explained, showing a picture of the execution of Tiplar by Tup on Ringo Vinda as he pointed his blaster at her.

"I see..." Rex looks downcast at this as he realizes how he was only able to resist Order 66 because of Fives' actions and how the ARC Trooper influenced him to make a report about the bio-organic chips.

'Good soldiers follow orders.'

A voice whispered inside of Rex's mind, sending chills down upon his spine.

"Rex, you and Fives later went Kamino to treat Tup's condition. There, the Kaminoans withheld the truth about the inhibitor chip's true nature on the orders of Darth Tyranus — the name under which they knew Dooku — and claimed that Tup had been exposed to a virus.

The Jedi Council speculated that a Separatist plot may have been responsible, something that Tup's earlier disappearance on Ringo Vinda was taken as evidence for. Rex, while you were sent back to the front lines, Fives chose to remain with his friend. Believing that something more was going on, Fives performed a brain scan of Tup with the help of medical droid AZI-3, discovering what they believed to be a brain tumor. Fives had AZI-3 remove the "tumor", that in reality was Tup's decayed inhibitor chip, after which Tup awoke from sedation.

Following the chip's removal, Tup appeared calm and at peace shortly before dying with Fives at his side." The Force being continued.

Shaak Ti winced at this, also starting to feel some guilt for never suspecting the Kaminoans until now.

"To summarize, Fives was later killed because he tried to bring the evidence of the chips' true purpose to light, and a lot of people who should have been trustworthy didn't like that. Nala Se and Palpatine included." Veritas states candidly. "It was hard to know who he could trust, even among Jedi given that Anakin was still a strong supporter of the Sith Lord. It semmed no one would believe him."

Anakin and Rex's eyes narrow at this.

"Fives even managed to discover that Palpatine was somehow involved as well with the Contingency Orders, who would later try to dispose of him as soon as possible. In the end, the ARC Trooper died through a way no Clone should: being shot by another one, Commander Fox of the Coruscant Guard. Palpatine portrayed himself as the victim while claiming that Fives was insane and sick. In his panic and desperation, the ARC trooper raised a blaster pistol at the Coruscant Guards when they tried to apprehend him, but Fox opened fire, killing Fives with a shot through his heart." The Cinema Master finished.

Both Anakin and Rex looked furious over this as Sidious would manage to fool everyone once again.

Fives could have saved everything, and Fox had killed him!

Rex doesn't know what was going on in the Commander's head, but he can't think of very many things that make killing a seemingly-crazed brother like that justifiable, even if Fives had gone for his pistol as he'd explained. It takes half a second for a gun to be switched from kill to stun. It just doesn't make sense!

He hopes that he doesn't see Fox anytime soon. He thinks he's very likely to punch the other Clone in the face, nevermind that it's something that hasn't happened yet!

The others had been shocked about it, too, but not nearly to the extent that Rex had been. They only know Commander Fox as a name, but the Captain had met him. He remembers that Fox had been a little cold-shouldered, but accommodating, remembers that he'd sent their battalion well wishes when they had shipped out after visiting Coruscant for a week.

"This… It's… Bigger than any of us..."

Fives words semmed to sink into Rex's mind. Once he returns to his battalion, he will make sure to warn his brothers and free them from the influence of the inhibitor chips!

'Fives… Jesse… Tup... I promise that I won't let Palpatine get away with this!' The Captain of the 501st thought, with a newfound resolve. He will do what he can to especially save those three.

"Is there something that you can tell me about Caleb's future? How did Depa die?" Windu couldn't help but ask, actually starting to worry about his former Padawan and her apprentice.

"Caleb, we cannot win this battle… …you must run! Go! I'll be right behind you!"

Veritas sent Billaba's last words to Caleb to Windu through telepathy.

"On Kaller, moments later after Anakin became Darth Vader, at the culmination of his plan, Darth Sidious executed Order 66, a command to all Clone Troopers, triggering their behavioral modification biochips to kill the Jedi as traitors. It just so happened that Billaba had begun meditating and received a Force vision of the deaths of her fellow Jedi, including Masters Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura, and Koon.

Depa took hold of her Padawan's arm which allowed him to see the visions, warning him also of the danger. By the time the Clones started aiming, Billaba told Dume to run, already on her feet and igniting her lightsaber. She sacrificed herself to allow young Caleb to survive." The Cosmic Force being said.

'Depa... Caleb...' Windu though in slight dismay...

"Then we have Kanan Jarrus, born Caleb Dume, a Force-sensitive human male Jedi Padawan (eventually becomes a Jedi Knight), who survived Order 66 during the Clone Wars. Living on thanks to the sacrifice of his Master, Depa Billaba, on Kaller, he met the smuggler Janus Kasmir, who taught him how to survive as a fugitive. Going into hiding, he forsook the Jedi ways for some time and changed his identity, swapping his blue-bladed lightsaber for a blaster. After working with the Twi'lek rebel operative Hera Syndulla during the Gorse conflict, Kanan decided to join her nascent rebel cell." Veritas shows a picture of how Caleb turns into Kanan Jarrus and begins to train Ezra Bridger as his Padawan, eventually showing all the six Spectres together.

"Who's the boy next to Caleb? His Padawan?" Windu asks, eyeing Kanan's student with curiosity.

"Ezra Bridger, a Force-sensitive human male, is a Jedi Padawan, a freedom fighter, and a revolutionary leader in the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire. He was born on Empire Day(The day the Galactic Empire was born), 19 years before the events of A New Hope, to Ephraim and Mira Bridger, whose public criticism of the Empire led to their imprisonment, leaving Bridger an orphan on the planet Lothal as a child.

He joined the Ghost rebel crew of 5 before the events of Episode IV - A New Hope and was trained in the ways of the Force by Kanan Jarrus, despite his Jedi mentor still being a Padawan back then.

Ezra's abilities grew quickly, and a message of hope he broadcast in the Lothal sector inspired a number of rebel cells to begin working together to fight the Empire." Veritas shows some clips of Ezra fighting against the Empire, first using his unique blue blaster-lightsaber hybrid weapon and later his green bladed one.

This brought smiles to everybody as they get some reassurance that there would be people, surviving Jedi, who would fight against the Empire for a better future...

"What about Padawan Trilla Suduri and that Pau'an that was interrogating Padawan Dume? Are they new Sith that serve Palpatine?" Ki-Adi-Mundi asks next, making now everybody concerned about this suggestion.

"The Inquisitorius, also known as the Inquisitorius Program, the Order of Inquisitors, and the Imperial Inquisition, was an organization of 'mysterious', Force-sensitive dark side agents who served the Sith-ruled Galactic Empire. Members of the Inquisitorius were called Imperial Inquisitors, or simply Inquisitors, and were also nicknamed 'Red Blades'.

They were tasked with hunting down the remaining Jedi who had survived Order 66 at the end of the Clone Wars as part of the Great Jedi Purge, as well as other political dissidents, and retrieving any children identified as Force-sensitive. The group was governed by the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who was the apprentice to the Galactic Emperor, Sheev Palpatine, and led by a Pau'an known only by his title, the Grand Inquisitor.

The Inquisitors were all former Jedi that had fallen to the dark side by torture or some other way, with the Grand Inquisitor having served as a Jedi Temple Guard at one point." Veritas explained.

"They caught me. And they tortured me...

They almost broke me. And I am not the same as I was, Cal.

For years, I couldn't forgive myself. And all I wanted to do was die..."

"She was weak. Cracked in an Imperial torture chair. Surrendered the location of her naive Padawan."

Everyone became disturbed and somber by this as some remembered Cere and Trilla's words about being tortured and how Trilla probably fell to the Dark Side because of this.

"In the years leading up to the Galactic Civil War, the Inquisitors came into conflict with several Jedi and groups affiliated with surviving or former Jedi as part of the purge. One of these groups was the Spectres, the rebel cell that included the Jedi Purge survivor Kanan Jarrus and his Padawan, Ezra Bridger.

Their pursuit of the Spectres also brought them into contact with another Jedi Purge survivor, the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano, as well as the former Sith Lord Maul, who sought revenge against the Sith for casting him out and killing his brother and mother. When the Empire believed the Jedi Order to be largely extinct by the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Inquisitorius was said to have vanished."

'If having to deal with Palpatine and Vader in the Galactic Civil War wasn't already bad enough... We have to look out for those guys as well...' Ahsoka thinks, wondering how her future self faired against the Inquisitors.

"Can you tell us what Master Yoda meant by Qui-Gon learning immortality? Does that has something to do with Master Yoda, Anakin and I becoming those Force Ghosts later in the future?" Obi-Wan asks Veritas next.

"The Force Ghost was the soul and essence of a deceased Force-sensitive who denied the will of the Force upon death, yet was able to interact with the living. It also describes those who committed a final act of selflessness that led to their death, and have come to terms with it. Some Sith Lords learned similar techniques, which in some cases allowed them to physically interact with their environment." Veritas explains.

"Hmm… I suppose that makes sense given that at least Master Kenobi and Skywalker must have accomplished such requirements before the moment of their deaths, with the former letting himself be killed on purpose while the latter sacrificed himself to save his child. And Master Yoda must have used the last of his willpower to finish Skywalker's son's training before his time has finally come..." Oppo Rancisis theorizes as the others had to agree that he raised a valid point.

"According to the Jedi tradition, death was a part of life, and it meant becoming one with the Force. In death, sentients lost their ability to communicate with the living, but mastery of certain obscure paths of learning could avert it.

The origins of that knowledge, as well as its history, are not known. Ancient Jedi of the Galactic Republic such as Arca Jeth, as well as Sith Lords, knew a secret that could enable the user's essence to 'survive death', but this knowledge was somehow lost over the millennia. However, it was secretly preserved over the millennia by the native Ysanna, descendants of Jedi trapped on the world and slowly driven to barbarism.

Qui-Gon Jinn was the first of the recent Jedi who rediscovered this secret with the assistance of a shaman of the Whills. His spirit guided Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi and revealed to them the secret of retaining one's individuality after becoming one with the Force. In a way, Yoda contacted the Force Priestesses because of Qui-Gon." Veritas continues.

"Force Priestesses? Do you refer to that black-robed being Master Yoda met in the last video?" Eeth Koth inquires.

"Indeed. The Force Priestesses were five beings that resided on the Wellspring of Life, the home of the midi-chlorians." Veritas tells the group, showing a picture of the five Force Priestesses.

"And where is this place?" Stass Allie asks.

"You will have to find out on your own later if you're interested." This earned some frowns from the Jedi Council, as they remembered that Veritas wouldn't tell them everything right away. "The priestesses were representative of the connection between the Living Force as experienced by living beings, and the Cosmic Force in its role in the greater scheme of the universe. Existing within the Wellspring of Life, the five were a form of a shape-shifter, and would mutate their forms to manifest as Serenity, Joy, Anger, Confusion, and Sadness. Yoda will later encounter these Force Priestesses during the Clone Wars. They too knew the secret to transform into a Force spirit."

"I see... The Jedi Order existed for over a thousand generations... And yet, sometimes I feel that we still know so little about the ways of the Force itself..." Coleman Kcaj comments thoughtfully.

"Anakin, Obi-Wan. I just want to clarify another thing. When you both were on Mortis with Ahsoka, Qui-Gon appeared before the two of you, am I correct?" Veritas asks, earning a nod from the Jedi Master and his former Padawan. "Well, that was actually his spirit manifesting before you two. And not a vision of sorts. The Force on Mortis is very strong there, allowing him to manifest his body more easily."

This surprised both Anakin and Obi-Wan. So that indeed was Qui-Gon trying to talk with the two of them!?

"Later on, Yoda, during his exile after the events of Revenge of the Sith, taught the secret to become a Force Ghost to another Jedi Master, Qu Rahn. The Dark Woman also learned of it at some point.

Remember this:

Death for those Jedi was different: their spirits could retain their individuality and could return as voices, dreams, or apparitions at will so that they could help those in need of their guidance. On death, their bodies vanished; this was not the case with Qui-Gon, however.

This state was temporary, as Force Ghosts were an intermediate state between life and afterlife; after a certain amount of time, they would then have to move on to the Netherworld of the Force, another realm of existence.

Darth Vader learned of this ability through Darth Sidious, and upon his death, the spirits of Kenobi and Yoda completed his training by granting him the last step in becoming a spirit. Anakin's spirit appeared as that of his younger self, prior to his fall to the dark side." The Cinema Master finished, showing a picture of Anakin's death on the second Death Star, with Luke mourning over his body while the spirits of Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon and Yoda watch over the three of them.

"So that's why my Force Ghost looks like my current self. I 'died' once I became Darth Vader." Anakin theorizes.

"That indeed appears to be the case." Obi-Wan agreed with him.

Once nobody else had questions to ask, everyone was finally ready to watch the next video.

"What are we going to watch this time?" Ahsoka asks Veritas.

"A video about the Chosen One, Anakin Skywalker. His early life on Tatooine to his death on the Second Death Star." He replied.

Again, everybody looked in uncertainty at this, some still trying to accept that Anakin would indeed bring balance to the Force. But not in the exact way most wanted.

Anakin himself wondered if he himself could still fulfill his prophecy in a different way, saving as many lives as possible, including Padme's.

"Please, understand this: Claim any falsehoods and half-truths about the Dark Side that you desire, but NEVER claim that what Anakin does, that what he DID was the easy path. To fully embrace the Dark Side of the Force was the single hardest choice he ever had to make during Revenge of the Sith.

Anakin's main personality issue is that he craves approval and recognition. He can't always tell right from wrong. He was a slave boy who suddenly has a huge responsibility thrust upon him and has some trouble accepting it. And of course, he has a possessive nature over the ones he loves and he protects them fiercely, though he lets his emotions put them in harm's way." Veritas explains before disappearing from the screen.

Everybody let those words sink into their minds as Padme, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka think if there's something they can do to lessen the Jedi Knight's burden. Anakin looks at his confidants in concern as he imagines what would happen if turned against everybody he cares about just as his future self does...

Now playing: The Chosen One by Heroes Fan Productions

[Qui-Gon]: There's something about this boy…

[Ani](To Qui-Gon): There's so many! Do they all have a system of planets?

[Qui-Gon]: Most of them.

[Ani]: Has anyone been to them all?

[Qui-Gon]: Hmm. Not likely.

[Ani]: I wanna be the first one to see them all!

(Darth Vader reminiscing about his past as a kid and his talk with Qui-Gon)

And again, Anakin couldn't help but wonder how things would have differed if Qui-Gon was alive and became the ones responsible for training him.

"Sometimes I'd rather just fly than being a Jedi. Rather than being the Chosen One. Just to explore this galaxy of adventures." The Jedi Knight thought as he recalled another one of his dreams other than becoming a Jedi to free all slaves across the galaxy.

The others looked at him in sympathy, sometimes wishing for things to be simpler as well…

[Ani]: I don't want things to change.

[Shmi]: But you can't stop the change. Even more than you can stop the suns from setting.

[Ani]: Will I ever see you again?

[Shmi]: What does your heart tell you?

[Ani]: I hope so… Yes… I guess.

[Shmi]: Then we will see each other again.

[Anakin]: I wasn't strong enough to save you, Mom…

[Ani]: I will come back and free you, Mom. I promise.

(Anakin saying farewell to Shmi as his mother later dies...)

Padme wants to believe that she did her best to console and heal Anakin's heart since she was the only one who could relate to what having a family, a loving mother, truly meant. She is sure that her husband will be fine from now on…

But she couldn't help but worry sometimes…

[Anakin]: I wasn't strong enough… But I promise I won't fail again.

(Anakin mourning over Shmi's death.)

[Qui-Gon]: Obi-Wan… Promise me you will train the boy.

[Obi-Wan]: Yes, Master.

[Qui-Gon]: He is... The Chosen One. He… Will bring balance. Train him…

(Qui-Gon's death, Obi-Wan promises to look after Anakin and train him in his place.)

[Obi-Wan](to Anakin): The Council have granted me permission to train you. You will be a Jedi. I promise.

(Obi-Wan and Anakin become Master and student.)

'Master, have I done my best to train Anakin? What would you have done in my place?' Obi-Wan thinks as Anakin notices how Qui-Gon's death hurt his Master as much as Shmi's death broke his heart.

Maybe he was wrong when he thought that nobody else in the Jedi Order would understand the pain of losing someone they deeply cherished.

[Yoda]: Skywalker, a powerful Jedi you are. Yet unpredictable and dangerous, you can be.

(Anakin's astounding lightsaber skills in contrast to the moments he tapped into the Dark Side.)

The Jedi Council looked uncomfortably at Anakin as they watched him Force choke Poggle the Lesser. They looked disappointed at the Chosen One, but some were also understanding that they weren't truly helping him improve either.

[Ezra]: He's amazing!

[Ahsoka]: You should've seen him in person. He was my Master.

[Ezra]: Kanan said he was the greatest warrior the Jedi had in the Clone Wars.

Ahsoka smiled at this. She was truly grateful in the end for becoming Anakin's Padawan, regardless of what the others may think.

[Ahsoka]: He was powerful. Rarely lost a battle. But what would surprise people was how kind he was.

(Display of Anakin's lightsaber skills and his eventual triumph over Dooku.)

Some in the audience winced at the use of the word 'kind' after witnessing the wounded Dooku being at Anakin's mercy. They held no pity for the Sith Lord, but wouldn't kill him unless the situation called for it.

[Anakin]: I'm not abandoning her.

[Ahsoka]: He cared deeply about his friends...

[Anakin]: I'm not leaving without you, Master!

[Ahsoka]: ...And looked out for them until the end.

(Anakin during the Clone Wars, looking after Ahsoka and Obi-Wan.)

Obi-Wan and Ahsoka smiled at this before nodding in approval at Anakin. For all the issues the young man has, his heart has always been in the right place.

[Obi-Wan]: You are strong and wise, Anakin. And I am very proud of you. I have trained you since you were a small boy. And you have become a far greater Jedi than I could ever hope to be.

(Evolution of Obi-Wan and Anakin during their times together.)

"I couldn't have asked for a better master, Obi-Wan." Anakin said to Obi-Wan, smiling slightly.

"Thank you, Anakin." The Stewjon Jedi Master said in return.

Some of the Jedi Council members became intrigued upon witnessing Anakin manipulating the sky on Mortis just like it was told in the reports.

[Ahsoka]: I'm sorry, Master. But I'm not coming back.

"No..." Anakin thought with a look of hurt and betrayal on his face.

"..." Ahsoka was unable to say anything after remembering that she left the Jedi Order. So this is how they parted ways? What exactly happened? But how? And why?

[Obi-Wan]: She made the decision, Anakin.

[Anakin]: Well, what choice did we give her? The moment there were any suspicions about her loyalty, the Council turned their back on her!

(Ahsoka leaves the Jedi Order as one of Anakin's moral anchors disappears from his life.)

"What?" Anakin asks aloud as he looks in disbelief at the Jedi Council.

"How… How could you all do this to Ahsoka!? She… She would never do anything wrong! Especially against the Jedi Order!" The Jedi knight cried to the Masters, startling them.

"I… We abandon her?" Plo Koon asks next, also in denial. If anything, watching the videos made the Kel Dor think that they should band together rather arguing amongst themselves.

'How many mistakes the Council has made?' Obi-Wan thinks grimly.

[Ventress]: You and your "precious" Jedi Order!

'And I wonder what exactly happened to Ventress? We still don't know if she died or not. It's as if she just disappeared.' A confused Ahsoka thought.

[Anakin](To Obi-Wan): You lied to me. How many other lies have I been told by the Council!?

(Anakin's gradual resentment towards the Jedi Council.)

[Palpatine]: They don't trust you, Anakin.

[Windu]: I don't trust him.

(Anakin begins to trust Palpatine more...)

Again the group was reminded about how Anakin was beginning to trust the Jedi Council even less, giving Palpatine the chance to approach the young man. It didn't help that the members of the Jedi Council, like Mace Windu, were equally distrustful of Anakin.

"..." It felt somehow awkward by now for Anakin and Windu to look at each other during certain videos.

[Palpatine]: Ever since I've known you, you've been searching for a life greater than that of an ordinary Jedi. A life of significance, of conscience. I know what's been troubling you.

(Anakin and Padme's love for one another. Visions of Padme's death.)

'There's no way I can let Anakin near Palpatine after we get out of here...' Padme thought as Ashoka and Obi-Wan were thinking of ways to prevent the Jedi Knight's fall to the Dark Side.

[Padme]: It was only a dream.

[Anakin]: I won't let this become real.

It was hard but Anakin was starting to make peace with Padme's possible death. But that doesn't mean he won't search for other ways to save her life.

'Maybe I can later ask Master Che for help.' He thought, remembering Vokara Che, the female Twi'lek Jedi Master and highly accomplished Jedi healer.

[Palpatine]: Listen to me. Don't continue to be a pawn of the Jedi Council!

(Anakin's inner struggle intensifies. Dooku decapitated by Anakin.)

The audience cringed at the way Anakin decapitated Dooku. The Chosen One only frowned at this, no longer sensing any satisfaction for killing the Count despite losing his arm to Darth Tyranus.

It just made Anakin feel... Empty inside. Not a single trace of satisfaction...

[Padme]: You're not all-powerful, Ani-!

[Anakin]: Well, I should be!

[Palpatine]: Only through me can you achieve a power greater than any Jedi.

(Palpatine revealing himself to Anakin. Barris being slammed against a tree by the Jedi Knight.)

"What the!? Master, why are you attacking Barris!?" Ahsoka cried at her mentor, horrified.

"I don't know, Ahsoka! Could it be that it's somehow related to you leaving the Jedi Order?" A concerned Anakin asks in return.

"Wait a moment… Isn't Padawan Offee wielding a red lightsaber? Could that be the reason Skywalker attacked her?" Saesse Tiin pointed out as everybody noticed that.

Why Barris was branding such a weapon inside of the Jedi Temple in the first place?

'Oh no...' Ahsoka starts to think about the worst.

[Anakin]: Someday, I will be. I will be the most powerful Jedi ever!

(Anakin begins to crave for more power in order to save those he cherishes.)

"Someday you will become, the most powerful Jedi, huh?" Yoda wonders as he watches Anakin subduing both The Son and The Daugther, realizing the implications of the Jedi Knight representing the true meaning of bringing balance to the Force...

Neither the Light nor Darkness shall prevail over the other...

[Anakin]: Stay with me, Mom…

[Shmi]: I… I lov-

(Shmi dies in Anakin's arms.)

[Anakin](To Padme): I will even learn to stop people from dying!

'Mom...' Anakin looked down at his hands in a grimace. Is asking to have the power to protect those he loved too much!?

[Palpatine]: I have the power to save the one you love! You must choose!

[Anakin]: It is not the Jedi way. He must live!

(Anakin witnessing Palpatine and Windu's confront as he must now make the ultimate choice.)

"I feel that this is rather hypocritic from Skywalker's part to say after killing Dooku in cold blood, but..." Oppo Rancisis trailed off, rubbing his beard pensively.

"Palpatine is the one who 'asked' him to do so. If Master Kenobi was conscious, I don't think Anakin nor Palpatine himself would have killed Dooku." Kit Fisto theorized, earning a nod from the elder Jedi Master.

[Palpatine]: Please don't...

[Anakin]: I need him!

[Palpatine]: PLEASE DON'T!

"He has the majority of the Senate wrapped in his fingers. He's too dangerous to be left alive." Mace Windu said sternly, glaring at Palpatine as the Sith Lord had the nerve to pose as a weak old man even after killing three Jedi Masters.

[Anakin](Slashing Windu's arm): NOOOO!

[Palpatine](Force lighting Windu): Power!

[Anakin](Despaired): What have I done?

[Palpatine]: You are fulfilling your destiny, Anakin.

[Anakin]: NOOOO!

(Mace Windu's death and Anakin's partial guilt over that.)

'How many times I will be forced to watch this!? Is there no way to kill Palpatine!?' Windu thought, looking at Anakin in slight contempt.

[Palpatine]: A powerful Sith you will become! Henceforth! You shall be known as Darth . . . Vader.

(Darth Vader is born as Order 66 is finally issued!)

"I won't let this happen! I… I promise!" Anakin told the others in anguish, earning a nod of relief from them.

[Anakin]: The Jedi turned against me. Don't you turn against me!

'We turned against you? Why would you even think that, Anakin?' Obi-Wan thought, disheartened.

[Padme]: Anakin!

[Obi-Wan]: It can't be!

[Padme]: You're breaking my heart!

[Anakin]: Liar!

[Padme]: Anakin…

[Anakin]: You turned her against me!?

(Anakin feels 'betrayed' by Padme. Master and apprentice, two brothers, duel to the death on Mustafar.)

The audience became intrigued once more with Anakin and Obi-Wan's duel, seeing how the Chosen One was mostly on the offensive, with his Djem So style, while Kenobi merely tried to defend himself, with his mastery over Soresu, against his former pupil until an opening appeared.

[Obi-Wan]: You were the Chosen One!

[Anakin]: I hate you!

(Obi-Wan's sorrow after defeating Anakin and Anakin's growing hatred over his former Master.)

'Anakin...' Padme's heart broke every time she saw her sweet and kind Ani becoming the black ruthless monster that Darth Vader would probably be known for.

[Sidious]: Lord Vader, can you hear me?

[Vader]: Yes, Master. Where is Padme? Is she safe? Is she all right?

[Sidious]: It seems… in your anger... you killed her.

(Darth Vader's suit(cage) is created as he hears how his wife passed away...)

[Vader]: I…!? I couldn't have! She was alive! I felt it!

(Darth Vader channels the power of the Dark Side of the Force, using his hatred and wrath to empower himself and destroy all those that stand in his way.)

Everybody was horrified at the sheer brutality Vader displayed against his enemies.

But then…

(Ahsoka vs Vader!)

Ahsoka's face fell at this as she deeply wished that something like her facing Vader, just like in Obi-Wan's case, never happened. Alas, the Force semmed to dictate that this was not something she could refuse if Anakin fully embraced the Dark Side.

"No… Please, no… Not Ahsoka too..." Anakin and the others despaired once they saw his future Sith Lord self facing the adult version of his Togruta apprentice.

'No... It can't be...' Ahsoka's expression equally mirrored her master's pained one.

"Are those… White lightsabers? How did Padawan Tano acquire such weapons?" An intrigued Shaak Ti wondered.

[Yoda](To Obi-Wan): The boy you trained, gone he is.

(Obi-Wan reminisces about Anakin...)

[Sidious]: There is a great disturbance in the Force.

[Vader]: I have felt it.

[Sidious]: We have a new enemy.

(Luke Skywalker begins his path towards the Jedi way, giving new hope for a Galaxy oppressed by the Empire.)

'Luke...' Anakin and Padme thought about their son, bringing their hands together.

"A talented pilot, just like his father," Obi-Wan said, smiling at this as he saw Luke destroy the first Death Star.

[Vader](To Luke): The Emperor has been expecting you.

(Duel on Cloud City as Luke learns the truth about his heritage.)

Anakin winced in pain, grabbing his mechanical arm's wrist. It felt even worse learning that not only he harmed his own son, but also chopped off Luke's arm just like Dooku did with him.

'I have become the very thing I swore to destroy.' The Chosen One laments, shooking his head in dismay.

[Luke]: I know, Father.

[Vader]: So... you have accepted the truth?

[Luke]: I've accepted the truth that you were once Anakin Skywalker, my father.

(Luke and Vader's verbal confront as they reunite on Endor, son calling for his wayward father.)

'My true self… Who am I really? A Jedi Knight? A Sith Lord? The Chosen One? Who is Anakin Skywalker supposed to be?' Anakin's reflects about Luke's words.

[Vader]: That name... No longer has any meaning for me.

[Luke]: It is the name of your true self. You've only forgotten! I know there is good in you! The Emperor hasn't driven it from you fully. Search your feelings, father! You can't do this. I feel the conflict within you. Let go of your hate!

(Who is the Chosen One? Anakin Skywalker? Darth Vader? Inner conflict inside one's true identity, mind and heart.)

"Luke's lightsaber certainly looks like it was made after the model used by Master Kenobi." Ahsoka pointed out. And again, where exactly Anakin's son got his green Kyber Crystal?

"Well, Luke must have taken inspiration from Obi-Wan since he was the one training him before Yoda. And after losing my lightsaber, I guess he didn't know how to build one similar to mine." Anakin theorized.

'Or because Luke might have been perhaps partly traumatized to make a new lightsaber similar to yours before facing Vader again, Anakin.' Obi-Wan thought grimly.

[Vader]: It is... too late for me... son.

[Luke]: Then my father is truly dead...

(Luke and Vader before The Emperor. One last duel between father and son. Vader at Luke's mercy.)

'Mom… Padme… Obi-Wan… Ahsoka...' Anakin thinks about those precious to him while being touched that Luke was still trying to save him after he tried to kill his own son again.

[Sidious]: Now, young Skywalker… you will die.

"Wait, why would Luke throw his weapon away!? Palpatine can still attack him!" Ahsoka cries.

"..." Yoda, Anakin and Obi-Wan are silent about this, trying to perceive if there is a deeper meaning to Luke casting his lightsaber aside…

[Luke]: Father, please!

[Padme]: Stop! Stop now, come back! I love you!

(Remembering who he really is, Darth Vader is gone, driven away by his true self: Anakin Skywalker. Darth Sidious is killed once and for all by the Chosen One, ending the Sith Order as it is finally destroyed for good.)

'Despite what the Jedi Code teaches them about emotions leading to the Dark Side… It was Anakin's attachments… It was his love for his family and Luke that brought the light back to his heart. Just like how Veritas said. And that's why Anakin managed to defeat Palpatine in the end…' Padme thinks, shedding a single tear and being grateful for seeing the kind of person that Luke becomes.

[Anakin]: Now… go, my son.

[Luke]: No! You're coming with me! I'm not leaving you here. I've got to save you!

(Father and son's first and last genuine moment.)

[Anakin]: You already have, Luke. You were right about me. Tell your sister… you were right.

(Anakin's death and funeral pyre. Only Luke is present, silently paying respects...)

"You were right, Luke… You were right. Thank you for believing in me until the end..." Anakin thinks, smiling warmly at his yet to be born son.

[Anakin](To Qui-Gon): Master?

[Qui-Gon]: Do you believe you are the Chosen One?

[Anakin]: How can I know?

[Qui-Gon]: I can tell you what I believe… I believe you will bring balance to the Force. That you will face your demons and save the universe. Remember your training, Anakin. Trust your instincts. You will find another way.

(At Mortis, Qui-Gon's faith in Anakin being the true Chosen One is still firm.)

"..." Anakin and Obi-Wan looked at each other, still trying to accept that Qui-Gon indeed spoke with both of them back on Mortis.

'To trust my instincts...' Anakin repeated Qui-Gon's words inside of his head.

(Darth Vader is shown looking over the stars, from the Executor's bridge, before walking away...)

'And bring balance, Skywalker will...' Yoda thinks pensively, closing his eyes in understanding.

May the Force be with you. Always.

The video ends after that, with the movie screen turning black...

"..." Everybody, after watching the video, could now understand some of the things Veritas tried to tell about Anakin's life and the hardships he faced.

And how hard it was, sometimes, for the young man who has to bear the greatest burden in order to fulfill his role as the Chosen One...

Star Wars: A Galaxy of Adventures - A React Fanfic - The Chosen One by Heroes Fan Productions - End

Author Notes:

And this ends the chapter 14 of this React Fanfic

I finally decided to do a react about a video that some people have probably been hoping to see for a while.

I will return to the Clone Wars in the next chapter. The summoned group finally gets to learn what makes Ahsoka leave the Jedi Order since I plan to cover the Wrong Jedi Arc. It's a nice coincidence that The Chosen One video gave them a preview of what is about to come.

I have given some thought and decided to maybe not include Ventress as an addition to the react audience. I'm sorry if this may displease some of you but I decided that I don't want the react group to be too big. I will give a definitive answer about including Ventress or not in the next chapter.

I will take a break from writing this story. I have no idea when I will resume working on this react fanfic.

Now onto the Reviews:

dark knight discord: Thanks! I won't make a reaction of the Clone Wars' Siege of Umbara Arc because the Jedi probably know about all the events there, including Pong Krell's betrayal, due to Rex and the 501st probably telling them about what happened off-screen.

But I assure you that I do plan to later use some episodes of Star Wars Rebels and make reactions out of them. Especially the ones that show Ahsoka, Rex and (Darth) Maul.

tgranger2004: I honestly have no idea. I hope Canon later provides material confirming if these two ever came to meet or not.

Yeah, I guess only Ventress would suffice.

cybresamurai: Thanks! Sure, I think I will use Maul's video later so the group can have a better insight about his life.

Ainz oal gown: Thank you!

korrd: Sure, give me a suggestion that you would like me to use and I will see what I can try to work with. But I don't plan to use any fanfictions in this story.

evan17w: Maybe. I will think about it.

Agent N: Thanks! Sure, but I'm merely thinking about bringing only Ventress later to react to the videos alongside the others. Yep, everyone is going to feel heartbroken about Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order, especially Anakin.

AxolDragon: Thanks! Yeah, I felt the same way in regards to the Jedi that have to survive in the dark future of the Galactic Empire, like in Kanan and Cal's cases.

Sure, I do plan to later use certain Star Wars Rebels' episodes for the group to react to. Especially the ones that contain Ahsoka, Rex and (Darth) Maul showing up.

pinkymissa123: Thanks! Sure, I think I will probably use Maul's video later so the group can have a better insight about his way of life and mindset.

MalirBly: Thank you!

Chunk127: Yeah, I think that's how Shaak Ti died in Disney Canon given that her appearance in The Force Unleashed game is no longer considered valid.

food 66: I don't mean any offense, but your review is confusing. I can barely understand what you have written. Try to make a list of the videos you request instead before I first consider using something that you proposed.

Also, I don't plan to make the summoned audience react to music videos for now.

derfy: No. This story is mainly dedicated to Star Wars and its universe. I'm not gonna use something that is completely irrelevant to the summoned group like Harry Potter.

Romulus Black Talon: Thanks! I also appreciate how many liked this story so far since it's the first time I'm writing a Star Wars fanfic.

kalani . gapido: Thanks!

Don't worry, the next chapter returns to the Clone Wars. It will be the Wrong Jedi Arc where Ahsoka ends leaving the Jedi Order and Anakin gets even closer to falling to the Dark Side of the Force.

And yes, I do plan to later cover reactions to stuff like the Revenge of the Sith movie, Star Wars Rebels series, the Rogue One stand-alone movie and the Original Trilogy. However, I do not plan to touch the Sequel Trilogy movies unless it's necessary. I don't really like them except for some things.

Stormquake the Elementalist: But the depressing stuff is the main point of this story. It's all shown for the sake of making everyone summoned to have a better understanding of everything happening in their galaxy.

Also, some of the previous chapters pretty much showed/implied by now that the summoned group wouldn't really laugh at what our people would find funny as parodies.

AlcorUzukaze: I'm gonna leave the music raps alone for now. Maybe I will return to them later.

I don't plan to use the How It Should Have Ended Star Wars videos, for now, because they put, in a very simplistic way, how the Star Wars' galaxy's main problems could be solved when that's far from being the actual case. Real-life situations(For the summoned group at least) would be much more complicated to solve than the way it's probably shown in these videos they are watching.

The Coffee Daddy: Thanks! One of your requests has been heard since I finally decided to make the Chosen One video made by Heroes Fan Production. I'm not sure yet if I plan to use the other ones that you mentioned.

Thefallenjedi66: Maybe I will use them. But could you give me a reason about how these videos would be relevant for the summoned group? What exactly would they learn watching the trailers? I'm pretty sure that the Jedi Order must have the events of the Old Republic recorded in their archives.

The Watcher: Thanks! Not sure about bringing Commander Cody yet since I originally planned to have only Captain Rex summoned to represent all of the Clones. For now, I guess only Ventress will join the audience later.

Don't worry, the Wrong Jedi Arc will start in the next chapter.

Not sure yet about covering the entire Lawless Arc. But I will try to show Satine's death to Obi-Wan(and make him mourn about this) and the awesome lightsaber duel of Darth Sidious(Palpatine) VS (Darth) Maul and Savage Opress.

Guest(1): Thanks! Yeah, maybe I could use that video later. I will think about it.

Guest(2): I pretty much pointed out in one of the first chapters that Ki-Adi-Mundi and Shaak Ti have memories of the battle of Hypori and how they lost to General Grievous, so there would be no need to show him fighting.

This also implies that the others probably know already about Grievous (2003) since the 2003 Clone Wars' cartoon also showed the Jedi Council discussing about him for the first time.

But I could perhaps make use of the videos showing 2003 Grievous fighting later if a lot of people ask for it. I think I will make another poll including Grevious (2003) fights next time.

RyanSquad: Well, that's something that you will only find out when I start making the Revenge of the Sith react chapters.

Sure, it's alright. No problem.

Mark: Maybe, I will think about it. Not sure yet about using that video you mentioned since I will probably include Ben Kenobi's reminiscing about his time with Anakin through other videos, some Force Visions or by probably using the movies themselves.

Thanks!

Guest(3): This story is not dead. I'm just taking my time to write the chapters.

shadowhunt3rs: Thanks! I'm not really sure about using the video you mentioned because everyone, especially Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padme, Ahsoka and Rex, already know how much the Clones deserve more respect and to be treated better as living beings rather than Kaminoan property.

Sometimes I accept requests, sometimes I don't. And there are times when I just make polls and let the others decide what I should make a reaction chapter of.

Guest(4): Nope. I'm not touching anything related to the Sequel Trilogy unless I have a good reason. I pretty much explained that Rey and the other characters from the movies will end disappearing later.

Guest(5): Sure, if you have watched The Chosen One video by Heroes Fan Productions you will see that it pretty much showed a brief moment where Anakin controls both The Son and The Daughter, representing that he is indeed the Chosen One and the one who will bring balance to The Force.

Don't worry, I do plan to later cover reactions to stuff like the Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars Rebels, the Rogue One stand-alone movie and the Original Trilogy. However, I do not plan to touch the Sequel Trilogy movies, I don't like them.

marjuska2017: Yes, it will come eventually. I'm just not sure of when exactly.

Guest(6): Ok. This story is not dead. I'm just taking my time to write the chapters.

Child of stars: Thanks! I take requests sometimes, but it ends depending on what you propose to me and why.

I don't understand what you meant by 'work between the world and Ahsoka's death'. Are you talking about Star Wars Rebels and the episode that shows Ezra, Ahsoka, Darth Sidious and the World Between Worlds(Vergence Scatter) mystical plane?

Rden: I will update whenever I can. This story is not dead. I'm just taking my time to write the chapters.

Star: Thanks! This story is not dead. I'm just taking my time to write the chapters. I will update as soon as I can.

ChloeHudleston: Thanks! This story is not dead. I'm just taking my time to write the chapters. I promise to update a new chapter as soon as I can.

Larmsicle: Thanks!

Guest(7): Thanks! I will try to update whenever I can.
