WARNING: If you are likely confused about events that have happened in this fanfiction that didn't happen in canon, that's likely because this isn't following canon, but another story I made called 'Oh Rhonda!'. So, be wary of this fact when you read the story! If you haven't read the first 'Oh Rhonda!', please do so if possible so that you can understand what's going on. Otherwise, continue to enjoy the story!
Sheesh, I say I'm going to update after the last chapter, and what do I do? Focus on my votefic in AO3. To be fair, though, that is one of the many projects I was focusing on at the moment, and in the process, this fell on the wayside, so I apologize if I have not been giving this universe enough attention. No worries, though, I'm still going to update the story. It just won't be as prominent since I have to work in work days and my big project in AO3 in between. So, if you don't see a lot of updates, don't worry, I'm still focusing on this story, it's just not as prominent as it used to be.
That being said, let's get down to the final part of this episode! Anyway, enjoy!
Rhonda and Nadine were being carried by the former school bullies as Wolfgang and Ludwig walked outside as they looked around.
"All right, where is she?" Ludwig muttered as he looked down to see the calm and collected Phoebe filing her nails.
The two bullies remained silent as Phoebe tossed the nail file aside before turning to the bullies, crossing her arms. "Thank you two for coming over and meeting up with me. I realize you two probably want revenge for turning you in for breaking the law. Now, kindly untie my friends and we'll get to the middle of the road."
"With pleasure. Wolfgang?" Ludwig said as he turned his head towards the blonde haired bully, wiggling his brow.
"Got it." Wolfgang said as he untied Rhonda and Nadine.
Once the two girls recovered, Rhonda looked rather concerned as she tried to run over to Phoebe, but Nadine grabbed her hand and shook her head furiously. Without a single word, Rhonda looked down sadly as Nadine gave a satisfied nod.
"Thank you." Phoebe said. "Now, shall we start on our battle?"
Ludwig cackled maniacally as he cracked his fists. "I've been looking forward to this revenge in so long."
"I'm glad you think so. Attack." Phoebe said as she raised her hand up.
Wolfgang and Ludwig grinned as they charged straight at the petite girl... unfortunately, jumping in from all sides were the rival teams of the fencing tournament, along with Curly, Pudding and Park as each of them held their fencing swords. Phoebe smirked as she stepped back. "Meet my team of fencers, who have seen you all sneak into the school and let me know in advance about you two coming."
Wolfgang growled as he pointed to the girl. "Hey! You said this was between you and us!"
"It is. I'm just holding you back." Phoebe grinned. "Again, attack!"
"YA!" Park screamed as he and the others raised their fencing swords and charged straight at the bullies. Ludwig tried to swipe one sword from one fighter, only for him to feel the sword and yelp.
"Ow, ow, ow, these are real swords! I thought you fight with rubber swords!" Ludwig said as he waved his hand around.
"Gee, I sure put up the big stakes!" Phoebe grinned... before being pelted in the face with a pie courtesey of Arnold's grandmother, who happened to be passing by. Phoebe just turned towards Gertie with a glare as the old woman could only give a small grin. "Again, stake, S-T-A-K-E."
"I couldn't resist." Gertie cackled.
Wolfgang growled as he tried to grab one of the young kids to stuff in a trash can, only for another kid to give a loud cough, turning his attention to said kid. The kid smirked as he pointed towards a few adults watching outside. Wolfgang grinned nervously as he put the kid down safely and patted him on the head.
"Ooooo, what a hypotwit." the kid said with a frown.
"Enough of this!" Ludwig growled as he grabbed Wolfgang. "Charge at that kid!"
"Right!" Wolfgang said as he and Ludwig started to charge at Phoebe, who was calmly waiting.
She then covered her eyes with her hands. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten-" She then uncovered her eyes. "RED LIGHT!"
Wolfgang and Ludwig stopped in their tracks.
Phoebe smirked as she covered her eyes again. "One, two, three, four, five, six-" Once again, she uncovered her eyes. "RED LIGHT!"
Wolfgang and Ludwig, who had started charging towards the girl, froze as they made some odd Egyptian like poses.
Phoebe covered her eyes once more. "One, two, three-" She uncovered her eyes once more. "RED LIGHT!"
Wolfgang and Ludwig stopped short as they took four steps before freezing.
"One- RED LIGHT!" Phoebe said as she uncovered her eyes again and put them down as the two started moving, only to stop in their tracks.
"Wait... what the hell are we doing?" Ludwig growled as he and Wolfgang started charging towards the girl. "AHHHHHHHHH!"
Phoebe took a deep breath as the two bullies jumped straight for her... only for to step aside as the two slammed right down onto a blue mailbox, knocking it out of its bolts and flattening it.
The implications of that hit the two bullies hard as they looked towards the mailbox before turning towards the smirking girl as she whistled over to Curly and Pudding, the latter of whom had pulled out a cell phone and was on it.
"Yes, I like to report a mailbox being destroyed by two juvenile delinquents. Description? One is a musclely sort of boy with a green shirt, and the other is a brown haired boy with..." Pudding said as Wolfgang and Ludwig looked between the destroyed mailbox and a smirking Phoebe.
Ludwig growled as he got up and turned to Phoebe. "You must think you're so clever. We knew you would try to..." Ludwig's angry face slowly started to fall. "At least... we weren't fooled by... we uh..." Ludwig held his head as he was starting to scream to the heavens. "OH, WHAT'S THE USE, WHAT'S THE USE?!"
Phoebe calmly handed Ludwig a mirror as the boy looked at it and started yelling at his reflection. "SUCKER, SUCKER, SUCKER! SUCKER, SUCKER, SUCKER!"
Wolfgang could only look down in disappointment as he raised his hands up in the air. "How do you do this, little girl? How do you figure everything down to the letter?"
"It's very simple, really." Phoebe simply said as she took the mirror back from a clearly broken Ludwig. "When we heard you escaped-slash-rewrote your sentence, I figured you'd want to come after me. So I called up everyone I knew from my fencing classes and they helped me set up this fake tournament. I knew Rhonda and Nadine would do something stupid like try to save me from your antics, so I just waited until the right moment. Your business was never with them, but rather with me. But you forget one simple thing, my two little delinquents. You don't have a proper education or the know-how to go out into the streets like normal civilians. Whereas I've been studying under a good education, and had some good friends that, while I can always rely on them, they taught me a lot more than you would think."
Phoebe gave a sigh as she circled around the two bullies. "Don't you see yet, Luddy? Wolfy? I was never scared of your threats. Not when your target was like... fifty steps ahead of you in one way, shape or form."
Wolfgang groaned as he shook his head. "So... you made us look like hams in front of you?"
Gertie, hearing that, smirked as she threw a pie at Wolfgang, who didn't even flinch.
"Pretty much." Phoebe said with a smile. "And by the way... I hope the next time you get out of jail, it'll be from good behavior... but seeing as how you keep piling your sentences from destroying mailboxes... I have a feeling you probably won't be out until the next time Sally's Comet makes its appearance."
Ludwig whimpered as Wolfgang looked down in disappointment. Phoebe snapped her fingers towards the two bullies as she gave a nod. "And that, you two, is how to never go up against a genius."
Phoebe then turned around and whistled casually as she passed by her fellow fencing partners, who applauded massively for her bravery. As soon as she went back up the stairs, she turned to see Rhonda and Nadine, who looked just as flabbergasted about what had just occured. Phoebe then yawned as she said, "I don't know about you, but I believe we have a tournament to finish. Shall we get back to everything while the police take care of business?"
Sure enough, the police had come by as everyone was heading back inside, with Phoebe casually whistling, with Rhonda and Nadine looking amazed, following their friend.
"How did you know that Wolfgang and Ludwig would try this again?" Rhonda asked in surprise.
"It's like I told you guys. I had everything taken care of." Phoebe said as she shook her head. "Honestly, you two, you should rely on me a little more. I'm the smart girl of your group for a reason."
Rhonda blushed in embarrassment as Nadine looked over towards the fashionable girl with a look that said 'I told you so'. Rhonda shook her head as she put a hand on her friend's back. "Phoebe, I'm sorry I didn't have much faith in you. I guess being the smallest of the group doesn't mean you're the vulnerable one."
"Believe me, there were times where I felt vulnerable, but you girls really showed me how true friendship can shine. And you were considerate enough to help me out. That's more than enough." Phoebe smiled. "Tell you what. When this tournament is over, ice cream sundaes for everyone, on me!"
The two girls cheered as Nadine said, "I can't wait!"
"All right, in you go!" Officer Pudney said as she shoved the two former bullies in the police car. "And this time, we'll be putting the keys to your cell in a better place!"
Ludwig gave a sigh as he gave a nod, before turning to Wolfgang. "Well, there's a lesson to be learned here."
"What's that?" Wolfgang asked, raising an eyebrow.
"If we can't outwit a girl who's smart, how can we take on the entire world?" Ludwig asked as he gave a sigh. "But that doesn't matter. Once we get back to our jail cell, we'll make up another plot."
Wolfgang's eyes widened. "Wait, what do you want to make another plot?"
"What can I say?" Ludwig asked as he gave a sadistic grin. "Phoebe Heyerdahl inspired me... she's going to be a challenge... and I never give up from a challenge..."
As the police car drove off into the distance, the radio started to play a small, but familiar tune. "They're Wolfy, They're Wolfgang and Luddy, -dy, -dy, -dy, -dy, -dy!"
"Did you hear that?" Ludwig asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Heard what?" Wolfgang asked in confusion as he turned to his friend.
Ludwig opened his mouth... before pausing and shaking his head. "Never mind..."
For now, the bullies put it out of their mind as they went back to their jail cell, hoping to win their challenge next time...
And that is the end of this episode! How did you guys like it? I will admit, it did take me a while to finish, but I'm glad I finally updated something about it! Now, I'm going to delay this again for a little while, but only because I want to focus on other stories first. Next episode, though, we will return to this as we'll be back with Olga and her little side story involving Nick Vermicelli! We'll see where this goes from here! In the meantime, if you guys are fans of my other stories, go ahead and check them out either here, or on Archive of Our Own, where I have a votefic involving a tournament of your favorite video game and cartoon characters! Anyway, read, review, criticize and suggest, folks!
