It was the day after the battle against the Volturi. It had finally sunk in... I was alone in this world and Jasper was dead.
I couldn't cope with the eternal depression. I just wished and wished someone would end it. I wished I could join him... I decided to ask every Cullen to end me. First, I went to Edward, he was the most likely to wanna end me considering he was planning to do so when he kidnapped me. I knocked on his bedroom door.
"Who is it?" He called.
"Tammy..." I sighed.
"Come in, Tam," I entered his room and began talking.
"Edward... You know how Jasper is...dead...I can't live without him. Please, please, kill me..." I begged and whispered the word dead.
"It's only been a day Tam... I could never kill you. Jasper wouldn't want that; he'd want you to live... To see the world and move on..." Edward replied.
"Please... You tried to before please, just channel that inner jealousy you felt..." I begged.
"No. He wouldn't want that, neither would we or your children..." Edward got up and hugged me. "You'll be okay," He whispered in my ear.
"Well...thanks for listening I guess..." I walked slowly out of his room, my walk full of sadness. Next, Rosalie. She hated me so she may be easier to persuade. I found her in the living room.
"Rose..." I whispered.
"Yes, Tam?" She hissed.
"Kill me," She turned around, a mask of shock on her face.
"Kill you?" She asked like she had misheard me.
"Yes. Kill me,"
"Why?"
"He's gone. I want to join him..."
"I could never kill you. Jasper wouldn't want that either..." Rosalie hugged me, which, of course, shocked me.
"Please..."
"No. Jasper wouldn't want it..." I trudged sadly to Alice's room and knocked on the door.
"Come in," She called out as I opened the door.
"Tammy!" She enthused.
"Kill me, please. I beg you,"
"Kill you?!" No, I couldn't... I won't!"
"Please, Alice. Can't you see I'm suffering?"
"No, Tam. I'm not killing you..." A surge of anger filled my body.
"HE'S GONE! HE'S DEAD AND HE'S NEVER COMING BACK! KILL ME SO I CAN JOIN HIM!" I snapped. Alice looked taken aback and I'd realized what I had just said...
"Tammy..." She said softly. "Don't you get it? Jasper wants you to live, to see the world, to find someone else," She continued softly.
"I know, but I can't focus, he's gone and without him I just...I feel incomplete..." I whispered as I trudged out again. Time to ask Emmett... I found him in the woods hunting.
"Tammy!" He exclaimed with excitement.
"Kill me, please..." I begged.
"No, I-" He trailed off.
"You what?" I whispered gently.
"I couldn't kill you. I still...I love you," He explained. I was taken aback, after all these years, after everything I'd put him through, he still loved me. He hugged me and I wandered back to the house, passing Jasper and I's cottage on the way back, becoming filled with a fresh sadness. I quickly walked past it and back to the Cullen house. I guess I'd have to ask Carlisle or Esme... I knocked on Esme's bedroom door.
"Come in," She said as I entered. She looked up to see who it was and immediately stopped drawing. "Tammy..."
"Esme, please...kill me," I whispered.
"No, Tammy, I couldn't kill you..."
"Please..." I begged.
"No, Tammy,"
"Guess I'll have to ask my final resort..." I walked out and knocked on Carlisle's office door.
"Come in!" He said as I opened the door. "Tammy..." His voice was secretive, as if he were hiding something from me.
"Carlisle, please...kill me," I begged as I had with everyone else.
"No, I couldn't kill you. Jasper wouldn't want that..." He was looking around his room as if there was something in here that I shouldn't see.
"Please...you're my final hope..."
"No. I can't kill you. I won't kill you," Damn his blasted soul! He was too kind for this...
"Okay..." I trudged back to my room.
