?'s POV

I could see the surprise on each of the people's faces as they saw that I was a girl. They didn't think a girl could drive like me, huh? Well beat that kids! I yawned as they all shared glances with each other. They actually reminded me a lot like the people Dan once told me about. Dan… I hated thinking about him, but I could never really stop myself. I missed him a lot.

"Who are you?" the boy who stood next to the cyan car asked, and I glanced back at him. "Name's Nunya." I said, rolling my eyes. "Nunya?" a guy with black hair covering one of his eyes with a silver streak in it asked. "Nunya Business." I said, smirking. Almost everyone there groaned. Yeah, they did remind me a lot about the people Dan mentioned. Battle Fork 5 or something? I couldn't remember what he called them.

"Alright, seriously, what is your name?" the biker asked, and I sighed. "Well, since it is biker to biker, Danielle Typhon." I said, nodding at him. He nodded back, "Zoom Takazumi." Hey, bikers just have that sort of respect for each other where if we don't know each other, it doesn't matter, and we'll talk. If you ever become one, you would understand what I mean.

"Why were you using our track?" the girl asked, and I shrugged. "I needed something to do… and it reminded me of…" I trailed off. The track reminded me of Dan, when we would go out racing together. I quickly shook my head, I couldn't keep thinking about him right now. "It reminded you of?" the first guy tried pressing. I shook my head again, "Just a lost friend." I said.

It was quiet for a moment, before Zoom spoke. "Biker to biker?" he asked, and I'm sure no one else there understood. I nodded, and the rest of the group let Zoom and I drive off. When we were a good ways away, we stopped in a canyon, and each took off our helmets again. We both leaned against our bikes, facing each other. "The track reminded you of a lost friend, who was it?" Zoom asked.

I felt more relaxed out here with another biker, so I told him all about how I was dating Dan Wheldon when he died. He seemed surprised when I finished the story, before speaking. "You knew Dan?" I nodded, and he smiled warmly. "I've met him, seemed like a nice guy. Hm… now that I think about it, he did talk about a girl back in his hometown that he liked." Zoom said. I nodded, "Yeah, that was a few days before he came and asked me out." I said.

We talked a little bit longer, before Zoom's watch beeped. "Well, biker to biker. Why don't I show you what Dan told you about?" he asked. My eyes widened, and I nodded. I've always wanted to see what he had told me about, but never really had the time to come out here. Zoom led me off across the flats, before joining up with a few of the other vehicles from earlier. He shared a conversation with them that I couldn't hear, when we went up into a tornado. "Wicked." I muttered.

I landed beside Zoom on the other side of the portal, and looked around in shock. It was some sort of… alternate dimension with rainbow crystals floating around everywhere. "Wow." was all I could say, taking off my helmet as I looked around.

Sorry it was so short. Merry Christmas everyone! I saw your review, Ice Berry, and sure. Just let me know about this OC you have.
