Author's Note:

Was slacking a bit with this chapter, but was really inspired to finish this episode off after hearing about what happened with Total Drama Reunion. But I don't want to talk about that right now. Let's talk about this story.

You'll be happy to know that I have planned out the challenges for the rest of the season. And I've got some really good ones in the future that I hope you'll love.

But for now, let's answer some reviews and then get into the drama.

Fantasy Lord 77: I think I was mostly inspired to write this episode after watching too much Gordon Ramsey. As for Deedee, well, if you've guessed what kind of challenge the cast will be getting into this episode, she's going to have a lot to do.

Tempokeep: Come to think of it, Total Drama does do a lot of eating challenges, but the only cooking challenge from TD canon that I can think of was way back in TDI.

xxPrincxssxx: I was hoping to throw people into a loop with William's elimination much like I accidentally did with Sarah getting eliminated a few episodes back. Who knows, maybe this will be a surprising elimination too.

squirtysong: Yeah, you're right, the ghost pepper sauce thing was the reference, going back to TDI as Fantasy said in his review. The fact it was ghost pepper is an inside joke for me and a few of my friends. Don't ask. Interesting predictions on who is getting eliminated next.

EPISODE FOURTEEN: SMOKEJUMPERS

This episode of Total Drama contains scenes of extreme stunts performed by animated teens. Do not try anything you see here at home. Seriously, you can get really messed up.

Chris stood in front of Chef's Restaurant. "Last time on Total Drama," he began, "The teams cooked for their lives in the ultimate pizza bake off (clips of the teams making the pizzas) and delivery challenge (clip of William and Nicole blowing up on a land mine). Which ended prematurely after the Slickers somehow delivered enough perfect pizzas to win the challenge instantly (clip of the Slickers winning). So, showing off my epic hosting skills, I concocted a final dough tossing challenge for the Rats and the Pandas (clip of the teams tossing pizza dough into the air)…with some added gamechangers, of course (clip of the hot sauce cannon hitting William). After another intense rivalry match between Moira and Desmond (clip of Moira and Desmond being the last two left), Desmond got the victory for his team (clip of Desmond winning for the Rats). And, after a bit of maneuvering and manipulation from Kaia, William was sent packing (clip of William's elimination)."

The scene returned to Chris. "Who will taste victory today? Who will taste nothing but smoke? And can my teeth get any whiter?" He flashed a signature smile. "Find out right here on Total! Drama! City!"

*Intro*

(As the intro music begins to play, cameras are seen popping out of a skyscraper window, a manhole, a streetlamp, and a trashcan. The clapper claps.)

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine

(Chris is seen driving by in a sports car as the camera goes down a runway)

You guys are on my mind

(the camera pans into a building and off a diving board into an indoor swimming pool)

You asked me what I wanted to be, now I think the answer's plain to see

(In the water, Sarah is swimming gracefully as spikes are shooting past her. The camera pans to the surface, where Jared is sitting in a rubber raft with Maeve. The spikes puncture the raft and the two begin to sink. The camera quickly moves outside, where Otis and Tara are working on a generator together.)

I wanna be famous

(The camera pans over to the side, where Todd and Rita are working on an experiment. Todd pours a liquid into a beaker, which explodes and coats both him and Rita in ash, while Yves watches disapprovingly from a shadowy room in a nearby building)

I wanna live close to the sun

(Harmony is seen in a park meditating, unaware of Zander performing a magic trick right in front of her, though his trick is interrupted when a raccoon jumps out of his magic had and latches onto his face)

Well pack your bags cause I've already won

(Charlie and Lana are side by side practicing the same ninja fighting moves as William and Nicole kiss next to them)

Everything to prove nothing in my way

(Malik is running at top speed away from a flamethrower wielding Deedee. As he is running, he is caught in a trap that yanks him up to the top of a small building, where Hunter is waiting with a knife. Kaia stands disapprovingly behind him)

I'll get there one day

(The scene pans into a kitchen, where Logan is photographing a pot of mysterious food. Clover appears behind him, shocking him, but Chef then appears behind Clover and chases the two out of the kitchen)

Cause I wanna be famous

(At a table just outside the kitchen, Theresa is focused on her writing while Tim is next to her typing on a laptop. A spotlight drops on the table, causing both to jump in surprise)

Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah

(In an alley, Hannah battles back against Sara, who is trying to pummel here with fists covered with boxing gloves)

I wanna be. I wanna be. I wanna be famous.

(On a street, Desmond and Moira are both in go karts, trying to knock each other off the road. Alex skates in between them both while Lance tries to catch up to her on a motorcycle)

I wanna be. I wanna be. I wanna be famous.

(The scene pans to a stage, where Sonya is playing her electric guitar and singing along to the lyrics into a microphone. The scene pans back to show it was on a monitor)

*whistling the main theme*

(The scene pans down, where Nigel is seen showing a clearly impressed Erin a collection of watches under his jacket. The scene zooms out to show the rest of the cast, with Chris off to the side. Sonya plays the last guitar rift of the theme song on her electric guitar)

Rita examined the crystal ball with the green slime in it, tapping it slightly and watching as it reacted to her touch. "Oh, pipe down," she told the slime.

"Are you ever going to tell me what that thing is?" Todd asked.

"I already told you what you need to know," Rita replied. "It's a failed experiment."

"For a failed experiment, you seem quite intent on keeping it around," Todd noted.

"Believe me, if I could, I would destroy it," Rita told him. "If it ever gets loose, it would be a disaster."

Todd blinked. "Oooookay then."

Rita finally looked up at him. "Is there something you needed?"

Todd hesitated. "There's been another contestant hanging around the lab recently."

"Who, Kaia?"

"No…someone else. Someone dangerous."

"I see. And you think that this person will impact our plans."

"It's possible."

Rita nodded. "Then I suppose we'll have to take care of it."

As morning came, a loud moan of sadness echoed through the walls of the crumbling apartment building that the losers were sharing.

Alex groaned in annoyance. "Won't Nicole ever shut up about William getting kicked off?"

"Oh, cut her a break," Sara told her. "She's madly in love with him. You'll understand when you get a boyfriend."

Alex snorted. "Yeah, right. With all the idiots running around this show, my options are pretty limited."

"What about Lance? He seems interested in you."

"Oh, don't get me started on that guy," Alex growled. "His King Arthur routine makes me wonder how he's lasted this long."

"Because we had bigger fish to fry instead of him," Sara told her. "And we still do before anything else."

"Like who?"

"Like Desmond."

Alex frowned. "I thought you two were in an alliance."

"We are," Sara replied. "But he's still probably the biggest threat on the team as well as the one we can convince the others to kick off the next time we lose. Plus, he's a jerk."

"That I agree with," Alex told her with a smirk.

"So, what do you say?" Sara asked. "Alliance?"

Alex hesitated. "How do I know I can trust you?"

"You honestly don't," Sara replied. "But I will promise you that I won't vote for you until we get to merge. After that, everyone's fair game."

Alex thought about it. "All right then. Alliance." The two shook hands to seal the deal.

CONFESSIONAL

"With Charlie on another team, I have to make more allies," Alex explained. "And Sara is a really strong ally. Unless Desmond rallies support against her, she's sticking around for a while."

END CONFESSIONAL

In the Hotel, the Slickers all ate while giving each other suspicious looks. Well, most of that was from Charlie and Hunter. The others were at another table.

"This can't stand," Maeve decided, glancing over at Charlie and Hunter. "Those two have been at it for a while and their mutual mistrust of both each other and the team is bringing us down."

"We won the last challenge though," Erin pointed out.

"We got lucky," Maeve corrected. "If this mistrust continues, we'll be right back at elimination."

"What can we do though to keep the beat going?" Sonya asked.

"The only thing we can do," Nigel spoke up. "Work together, try to win, and when the time comes, eliminate Hunter."

CONFESSIONAL

"Why Hunter?" Nigel asked. "Because I've got the feeling he can be a bit unstable. We need to get rid of him before he seriously hurts someone."

END CONFESSIONAL

In Chef's Restaurant, Hannah suddenly grew tense. "Anyone else smell smoke?"

Nicole frowned. "Yeah…yeah, I do."

"Look!" Clover yelled, pointing at the kitchen, where smoke was quickly billowing out from it.

"Everybody out!" Sara ordered. "Move it people!"

The two teams ran out of the restaurant screaming, joined quickly by the Slickers, who had arrived to see what was going on.

"Where's Chef?" Alex asked. "Isn't this his restaurant he's burning down?"

Suddenly, a chopper flew overhead, being piloted by Chris. The chopper hovered over the restaurant area and started to drop several tons of foam down, covering the restaurant and the contestants.

"Morning, campers!" Chris yelled through his megaphone down at the foam-covered teenagers. "It's time for today's challenge!"

Alex wiped a chunk of foam off her. "No kidding."

As Chris landed the chopper in front the cast, an angry looking Chef marched out of the restaurant.

"You could've told me we were using my restaurant to introduce the challenge!" he barked at the host.

"True, and I forgive you," Chris responded. "Right then, campers. As many can agree, one of the most common household disasters that can affect someone in the big city is fire. So, for today's challenge, you'll be facing fire!"

"Wonderful," Alex grumbled.

"This challenge is split up into three parts," Chris explained. "Part one has you and your team jumping out of a helicopter into a fire zone. Part two will be rescuing civilians trapped inside of burning buildings. Part three will be putting out the fire. The winner of the challenge gets the Hotel, the loser sends someone home."

CONFESSIONAL

"A fire challenge?" Deedee asked. "The fire gods have spoken, and their message is, "FIRE!" She cackled manically.

END CONFESSIONAL

"So, let's get started," Chris decided. "First up, the helicopter jump!"

"Uh, hate to disappoint you, McLean, but there's no way we're all fitting on that tiny helicopter of yours," Desmond pointed out.

"True. Which is why you'll be jumping out of a blimp instead!"

The cast collectively groaned. Chris chuckled. "Let's get started."

Up in the blimp, the cast was waiting for Chris's go ahead to jump.

"At least he gave us parachutes this time," Erin offered up quietly, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, parachutes coated in gasoline to make them extra flammable," Alex grumbled.

"It could be worse though," Rita pointed out. "We could be dropping without the parachutes."

"Keep your mouth shut," Hannah warned her. "You don't want to jinx it."

Chris then arrived. "Okay, campers," he announced. "It's time to drop." He opened the door to the blimp, revealing a skyline hazed by smoke. Below them was a section of the city that had apparently been set ablaze minutes earlier.

"You might want to try aiming for the part not on fire!" Chris advised. "That's the only spot where you can get your gear for the rest of the challenge! Start jumping!"

"So, who's going—" Sara started, but Deedee was already leaping out the door, cackling.

CONFESSIONAL

"Seriously, why hasn't Deedee been hauled away to a mental asylum at this point?" Sara wondered.

END CONFESSIONAL

"Well, no one lives forever," Charlie commented, following Deedee's lead. One by one, the other campers gulped, took a deep breath, and then jumped out the door into the smoke.

Nigel hesitated at the door. "I don't know if I can do this!" he exclaimed.

"Here, let me help!" Erin responded, shoving Nigel out the door. He fell with a scream.

CONFESSIONAL

"Boy, that felt good," Erin declared.

END CONFESSIONAL

All the campers were plummeting to the ground, trying to aim for one single safe zone that was defended from the fire via what appeared to be a sprinkler system that has been supped up by Chef and was pouring gallons of water on the surrounding area to keep it from being set ablaze.

"Deploy chutes!" Charlie yelled to whoever could hear him, tugging on the cord of his parachute and causing it to unfold, slowing his descent. Around him, others, including Clover, Sara, Desmond, and Hunter, did the same.

Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew in, sending showers of sparks at the group and blowing some off course.

Clover's chute caught fire. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me!" she exclaimed. Seeing how she was close enough to the ground that she might survive a fall, she unbuckled herself from her chute and fell towards the ground. She hit a burning building and rolled well, rolling upright to stop her fall.

"Well," she coughed, covering her mouth to lessen the amount of smoke she was inhaling. "That wasn't so bad." Then the building started to crumble.

She sighed. "I should've kept my mouth shut." Then the building fell apart from under her.

Back at the safe zone, the others were landing mostly intact.

"Wait, where's Clover?" Sara asked, looking around for her teammate.

"I saw her chute go down over there," Logan replied, pointing towards the flames.

"Don't worry!" Deedee exclaimed, running headlong into the flames. "I'll get her!"

"Deedee, wait!" Sara called. But she was already gone.

A monitor suddenly popped out of the ground, turning on to reveal Chris's face. "If you're hearing me, then congrats; you're still alive and survived part one of the challenge," Chris told them.

"But who won part one?" Desmond asked.

"Let's see," Chris said, bringing out a clipboard and muttering figures to himself. "Nobody," he finally admitted.

"What?!" everybody exclaimed.

"Come on, did you really think that I would give a winner for jumping out of a plane into flames?" Chris asked. "That was just for my entertainment. Now, on to part two! Each team has five different trapped civilians located at these locations in the fire zone." His monitor switched to show a map of the area, indicating five different zones.

"Your task is to find all your civilians and get them back here," Chris told them. "Whichever team saves more gets an advantage for part three."

"What exactly are the civilians in this case?" Sonya asked. "Don't tell me you used real living humans."

"I wanted to," Chris admitted. "But legal said it was "too dangerous" to tie up random people inside burning buildings."

"And sending us into those buildings isn't?" Alex asked.

Chris ignored her. "So, instead, you'll be saving cardboard cutouts, which are even more flammable and will be hilarious to watch you fail to save them."

The cast started complaining all at once. Chris blew his air horn to silence them.

"Shush!" he ordered. "I'd get a move on if I were you. Those buildings aren't going to be around forever."

"Don't we get some tools to help us save them?" Sara asked. "Axes or shovels to cut through burning piles of wood?"

Chris sighed. "I was hoping you wouldn't ask that. Fine. Fire axes are in that shed over there. Now, good luck, and I hope you die fiery deaths." He ended his call.

Clover rose to her feet, shaking off her drowsiness. The air was so thick with smoke that she could barely see anything.

"Guys!" she called, coughing as she inhaled a lungful of smoke. "Guys, over here!"

There was a crackling sound behind her. She turned around just in time to see a flaming piece of wood falling towards her.

She screamed as Chris paused the camera feed, laughing.

"Looks like our super spy is about to be super fried," he commented. "Will anyone else be burned alive? Find out when we come back."

Just before the burning wood was about to strike Clover, Deedee appeared, grabbing the wood with her bare hands and tossing it aside.

"Don't worry! Help is on the way!" she cackled.

CONFESSIONAL

"Okay, she's completely insane," Clover commented. "But for now, she's a good asset in this challenge."

END CONFESSIONAL

Elsewhere, the Pandas were busting down a flaming door with shovels, revealing three cardboard cutout people with the team symbols on them.

"Grab our guy and let's go!" Hannah yelled at Moira, who moved into the building and grabbed the cutout with the Pandas' symbol on it.

"Move it, move it!" Nicole ordered as Moira ran back with it.

"I'll get this back to the safe zone," Moira told them. "You guys get the other civilians."

"We'd better hurry," Rita advised. "This fire is getting worse by the second."

"Yeah, no kidding," Todd agreed, coughing from the smoke. "I can barely breathe through all this."

"All the more reason to hurry," Rita told them, hurrying off through the smoke.

CONFESSIONAL

"It's a good thing some of us are peeling off to save these poor excuses for dummies," Rita commented. "It gives me a chance to take care of my little problem."

END CONFESSIONAL

Meanwhile, the Slickers had rescued one cutout and were heading back towards the safe zone when Charlie spotted another building with three of the cardboard cutouts hanging from a window, the flames licking at them.

"I've got this!" he yelled, running headlong into the flames and scaling the building in seconds.

Hunter smirked. "Is it too much to ask that he gets barbecued?"

The others glared at him. Meanwhile, Charlie had reached the cutouts and had retrieved their team's one, dropping back down gracefully.

"Let's go," Charlie ordered.

"Hold on," Hunter said, "I have a better idea first." He picked up a rock and threw it with laser like precision at the ropes holding the other cutouts up. The rock tore through the ropes and sent the cutouts plunging into the flames.

"Why'd you do that?!" Erin exclaimed.

"Simple logic," Hunter replied. "Sabotage the other teams, get us the victory. You're welcome."

CONFESSIONAL

"Hunter just literally pushed what represented real people into fire!" Erin exclaimed. "Sure, I want to win, but winning by sabotaging the other teams? No thank you."

END CONFESSIONAL

Meanwhile, with the Rats, they were just rescuing their first dummy when Deedee appeared through the flames, her shirt sleave slightly on fire.

"I found Clover!" she exclaimed as Clover walked behind her.

"Uh, Deedee? Your shirt's on fire," Sara told her.

"I know!"

"Yeah, just…don't question," Clover suggested, rubbing her forehead. "What's the mission?"

"Save cardboard cutouts, get them back without them getting scorched," Alex replied.

"Sounds difficult."

"You have no idea."

Back with the Pandas, the team had split up, with Rita, Todd, and Hannah nearing another building.

"According to the map, the dummies are on the top floor," Todd said.

"Then let's get up there," Rita decided. "Hannah, will you stand guard in case another team comes?"

Hannah paused. "Okay, I guess," she finally said with a bit of hesitation.

"Thanks. See you in a minute." Rita and Todd entered the building, leaving Hannah alone outside.

As Hannah stood there, she suddenly heard the faint sound of footsteps coming. "I can hear you," she said out loud. "Why don't you speak up so—"

There was a crackling sound as a large section of the building collapsed down towards her. She rolled aside quickly, ending up right under a window frame, which crashed down harmlessly around her.

However, as she did this, she suddenly let out a cry, clutching her ears as a piercing wail began filling them.

"Ah! What the—" She stumbled around, glancing wildly around, eventually sinking to her knees. A few moments later, Rita and Todd stumbled out of the building, covered in soot and coughing.

"No good," Rita reported. "All the cardboard cutouts were fried."

"What?!" Hannah called, looking around for them.

"Hannah?" Todd asked, concerned, "You okay?"

"What did you say?!" Hannah yelled.

Rita and Todd exchanged a look.

CONFESSIONAL

"Perfect," Rita commented.

END CONFESSIONAL

Back with the Rats, Logan brought out the remains of one of their cutouts. "We were too late," he announced.

"It's okay," Sara told him. "We still have three. Let's head back to the safe zone and get out of this smoke."

"Good," Alex coughed. "I can barely breathe."

"Don't worry, my lady," Lance said, "I shall carry—"

"Touch me and I shove your head into the fire," Alex growled. Lance instantly stopped talking.

"That's better."

"What's wrong with her?" Moira asked, looking at Hannah, who was sitting on the ground still clutching her head.

"I don't know, but she's yelling about a ringing in her ears," Rita replied. "And you know that without her hearing she really can't see."

"That's not good," Nicole said.

"It gets worse," Todd added. "Based on my calculations, we only managed to save two of the dummies. The other two teams each saved three."

Moira groaned. "Raspberries."

"It's not over yet," Rita told them. "We still have one last part of the challenge left."

"You sure we can pull it off?" Todd asked. "We're outnumbered as it is and now we're down our strongest player."

"We still have relatively good odds," Rita replied. "We just need to act on them."

CONFESSIONAL

"If we win, then that puts me one step closer to ultimate victory," Rita declared. "And if we lose, my latest problem goes home. Either way, I win."

END CONFESSIONAL

"Okay, campers," Chris reported from the monitor. "Now that you've cleared the fire zone of civilians—some better than others…Hunter—it's time to put the fire out. Each team will be dispatched to a part of the fire zone. The first team to put their fire out will win invincibility. The last team will face elimination."

"Now, since the Rats got here first with their three survivors, they'll be getting premium grade fire retardant foam blasters," Chris continued as Chef arrived wearing a gas mask and wheeling out a cart filled with gear and gesturing to the large backpacks and hoses attached to them.

"The Slickers will be getting water tanks," Chris went on as Chef indicated tanks of water. "And the Pandas get…these." Chef began passing out water pistols to Pandas.

"Water pistols? Are you kidding me?" Kaia asked.

"Nope! Now get it moving, campers, before this fire burns down the rest of the city."

The Slickers moved to their part of the city, where fires were still burning.

"How powerful are these things?" Erin wondered, squeezing the trigger of the hose connected to her water tank. Instantly a jet of water so powerful it blew her back into Nigel exploded out, putting out an entire building.

"That powerful," she noted. "Got it."

"At least you hit something soft," Nigel pointed out.

Erin giggled slightly, while Hunter glared at him.

CONFESSIONAL

"I see that Nigel is still hitting on that idiot Erin," Hunter noted. "If they get together and form an alliance, I'll have to deal with them sooner rather than later."

END CONFESSIONAL

Over with the Rats, Sara had discovered that the foam blasters could easily snuff out a fire in seconds and apparently didn't have the massive amount of pressure that the Slickers' water tanks had.

"Just keep spraying guys," she ordered, "and we'll have this fire out in no time."

"Which is a shame," Deedee commented. "It's such a lovely fire."

"And yet no one cares, crazy girl," Desmond told her. "So just shut up and do your job."

CONFESSIONAL

"I'm beginning to think that Ol' Desy doesn't appreciate me," Deedee noted.

END CONFESSIONAL

Meanwhile, the Pandas were glumly spraying their nearly useless water pistols at the fire, doing very little damage to it.

"This bites," Nicole grumbled. "Here we are using our stupid water pistols and clearly losing the challenge."

"Any chance you can run and get some science gizmo to solve this problem?" Moira asked Rita.

"There's no time," Rita admitted. "And the entire area is covered in fires."

Nicole groaned. "Wonderful."

"WHAT!" Hannah yelled from where she was sitting.

CONFESSIONAL

"This is bad," Nicole said. "With Hannah's senses out of whack, she can't do anything. What are we going to do?"

END CONFESSIONAL

"We could always try throwing dirt on the fire," Todd suggested. "It's dirty, but it's all we got."

"Well, it's not like we've got any better options," Moira decided, scooping up a large handful of dirt and throwing it on the fire.

"WHAT!" Hannah yelled again.

"Annd…done!" Sara exclaimed as she put out the last of the fire on the Rats' side.

"And first place goes to the Tunnel Rats!" Chris announced through the loudspeaker.

The Rats all cheered.

CONFESSIONAL

"Finally," Desmond exclaimed. "It's back to the hotel for us. And then I can start building my allies up and take down Sara. I'm sure I can convince the newbies like Clover and Lance to help me out. And then I'll just need one more to get rid of Sara for good."

END CONFESSIONAL

Nigel rocketed through the air, propelled by the intense water pressure coming from his hose. With his flying antics, he finally was able to take out the last of the fire.

"We're dooooooonnnneee!" he called as he flew off and smashed into a building, causing it to collapse to the ground.

"You okay, Nigel?" Charlie called.

"I'm okay!" his voice replied from the debris.

"And the Slickers take second place!" Chris exclaimed. "Which means it's the Pandas going to elimination…again."

The Pandas, whose hands were all dirty from the digging, groaned in frustration.

CONFESSIONAL

"Not again," Todd complained.

END CONFESSIONAL

"Come on, Logan, let's go celebrate!" Clover called as the Rats ran past him and the other teams.

"I'm coming!" he called back. He started to run after them, but crashed into Maeve.

"Oh, sorry—" he told her, helping her back up.

"No, it's fine," she replied, quickly hurrying away.

Logan stared after her, frowning a little.

CONFESSIONAL

"I don't know," Logan admitted. "But Maeve looks kind of familiar. And she acts a little like someone with a secret. Maybe not like Lana did last season, but still…this may require investigation."

END CONFESSIONAL

As night began to fall, the remaining Pandas met in the subway for elimination. Chris stood at the front.

"There are only five tickets on my plate," he told them. "When I call your name, come up and claim a ticket. The camper that doesn't receive a ticket will be forced to ride the Tram Car of Shame and leave Total Drama City for good. And you can't come back. Ever."

"The following people are safe—"

"CHRIS!" Hannah yelled. "I'D LIKE TO VOLUNTEER FOR ELIMINATION!"

"What?!" everyone exclaimed.

"Hannah, you can't go!" Nicole exclaimed. "This is our chance to get rid of Kaia!"

"I'M SORRY!" Hannah yelled, having not really heard Nicole. "BUT MY HEARING IS MOSTLY GONE! I'M USELESS NOW! IT'S BEST THAT I LEAVE NOW!"

Chris shrugged. "Sure. Whatever."

Hannah struggled to her feet and used her cane to feel around for the Tram Car of Shame. After accidentally walking into the side of the car, she finally found the door and tripped inside the car. The door closed behind her and the Tram Car of Shame sped off.

"Pandas, get some sleep," Chris advised. "The rest of you are safe…for now."

"Of course," Rita agreed with a small grin.

CONFESSIONAL

"My plan worked," Rita said. "All it took was a pair of sonic emitters stuffed in Hannah's ears to get her senses out of whack and force her to resign." She smirked evilly. "Another successful experiment completed with the help of my…secret partner."

END CONFESSIONAL

"Talk about your schemers," Chris commented. "Will Rita's experiments cause the downfall of the rest of her team? Can Charlie and Hunter eventually work out their differences? And will Deedee burn down the city? Find out next time on Total! Drama! City!"

BONUS CLIP

"I HATE HAVING TO LEAVE LIKE THIS!" Hannah yelled, digging around in her ears. "BUT I CAN'T EVEN HEAR ANYTHING ANY—"

She stopped when she felt something inside her ears. She frowned and eventually pulled small earbud like objects out of her ears.

Hannah sighed in relief. "Ah…much better." Then she realized what this meant.

"I've been had…again!"

And so much for Hannah. Originally, I wanted to have her go further, but the more I wrote, the more I realized that I just didn't really have all that much for her to do. And so she had to go.

Rita has officially revealed that she has a secret partner. Who is that secret partner? I'm not telling or leaving any hints. You'll just have to be surprised when it's revealed.

We're nearly at the halfway mark in terms of remaining episodes, which means that, as you can probably guess, the merge is on the horizon. Just a few more eliminations to go and then it'll happen.

Logan now smells a mystery around Maeve. What will he uncover about her, if anything?

That's about all I have for you tonight. Make sure to hit that favorite/follow button to stay informed on future updates, and don't forget to drop a review to let me know how I'm doing. Until next time, this is Guest 1138, reminding you to observe proper fire safety guidelines at all times. Ciao!
